looking up slow cooker curried sausage recipes, and even non slow cooker ones, and they all say to peel the sausages. is this really necessary?

I never have and it's never caused any problems.
ta. I hadn't heard of it until I started googling recipes. I don't actually eat them so wondered if I had just been doing it wrong and no one had said anything.
No worries, although maybe we're both doing it wrong and no ones saying anything to either of us lol
I make curried sausages and havent seen a recipe to peel them? I put them in the oven to cook though, not slow cooker.
I have never pealed sausages for cooking ever in any way.
Yumm now i feel like curried sausages
I preboil and peel sausages for my curried sausages... I'm obviously the strange one though!
Mmm So making that for dinner tomorrow, never peeled them
I only ever peel them if I'm going to use the meat to make meatballs for a slow cooker recipe.
Another who doesn't peel sausages (unless they come off in the cooking process and then it's while eating)
I find the boiling gets rid of some of the fat and peeling gives a nicer texture
I've never peeled my sausages either! Never heard of that one
I just chuck everything in at once, turn the cooker on & walk away
