    Your Best MINCE SC Meals?

    Ok so i was thinking i could maybe do a really nice spaghetti sauce or something in the slow cooker using mince... anyone got any yummy recipes for mine in the SC?

    I ended up making a pasta sauce and it was delicious, anyone else got any for me?
    Could you do like a meatball in teh SC or would it fall apart?

    ive seen a few recipes for meatballs in the slow cooker but havnt tried them yet, when i do if they work out well ill post the recipe... hopefully ill make them next week!

    We did a meatloaf in the slow cooker once & it turned out really nice.

    I guess as long a you didn't over cook the meatballs they wouldn't fall apart.

    I wouldn't recommend doing a spag Bol in the SC. I did it once and all the tiny bits of mince turned into REALLY tiny bits of mince and it was so horrible that I gave it to my dogs! It was like purée mince!

    I had slow cooker spaghetti bog on the weekend and I thought it was amazing!

    Really? Maybe I just cooked mine for too long. It was like a meat flavored sludge.... Mmmmm.

    I do spag bol in the slow cooker, yum!

    I usually soften some onions and garlic in a frypan on the stove, add the mince and brown it (I don't break it up too much), add tomato paste and cook for a min, add red wine and cook for a min, add the grated veg (whatever you feel like!) stock and tinned toms plus herbs, salt and pepper and then pour it all into the slow cooker. Then I leave it on low for 8 hours and it is amazing. If it looks a bit too liquidy I take the lid off for the last half hour or so.
