Angel - Its the outfit the hospital gave us surprisingly they had outfits that small.. We asked to keep it and the blanket he had with him and it smells just like him.
I didn't keep the outfit that they dressed Luke in but I did swap the bunny rug they had him in so I could keep the original one and I know what you mean about the smell. Certain things I have from that time just have "his" smell and I love it. I will never wash the bunny rug as not only does it have his smell but it also has some marks from his skin (or my blood I'm not sure) on it. Sad that is all we have left as mums of angels :(
All you ladies are truly amazing women.
I don't have the words right now to express how deeply I am touched by the photos of your angels.

Ahurani - Oh, I have always been taken by Haley's picture, and now even more so. What a beautiful little girl she is.
Thankyou so much for giving me the honour of seeing how beautiful your angel babies are. I am really humbled to share such precious pictures and memories. Here's a weird thing for me now. Before I was an angel mumma, when I looked a photo's of angel babies, I only saw that they had died. Now? I see their beauty, their preciousness, the anticipation of their arrival, the bittersweet moments of their arrival, having to say goodbye and hello and I see the part of each of us that will always be missing. I see the joy and wonder in gazing upon the pure perfection of your much loved and adored baby. I see more, and I am a richer person because of it. Those things are not just words on a page for me anymore, and not for any of us, they are feelings, and tangible memories of such a special but heartbreaking time.
It wasn't untill I posted in here and shared my photos with other people who will look and know how I feel about Poppy that I truely revelled in the beauty of her. I am always scared to show people her photos, scared that they will just see her as someone who died and not precious pictures of someone who lived in me, whom I love. We were scared to have her photos up in the house, but now I feel differently. Poppy is really my most precious angel, and I want to share how pretty she is.

Bec, if I had an angel baby and pictures as gorgeous as Poppy's I would have them blown up and framed. They are some of the beautiful shots I have ever seen.
