I only just found your story.. Thank you for sharing , I am so sorry for the loss of your precious baby boy Tre. I am currently in the TTC after loss thread. I lost my twin boys at 12 days old. They were born at 24wks in 2008. Look after yourself. I might see you in the TTC thread?? Anyway, I am sure you will get lots of support here.. :hug: to you and your family..

I am new to this site and would like to thank you for sharing your story.
Two weeks ago today I found out that my baby had died. I was 23 weeks pregnant. I have also had two miscarriages previous to this, both at 10 weeks.
Knowing that there are other people out there that understand what has happened and how I feel is of some "comfort" (although I would feel better if this never had to happen to anyone)
I wish you all the best in TTC & all future pregnancies.
Fiona thank you for sharing your heart breaking story, it couldn't have been easy for you to write.
I hope you find support on BB and good luck for TTC when you and DH are ready.

I certainly know what you and your partner are going through, especially since you are in a small coastal town also. I hope you are getting some support, today i start counselling with Sids and Sands as i've been a little angry lately (apparantly a natural part of grief) so hope that i can get back my saddness for losing my son rather than at other people which is not usally in my nature.
I am starting to post a bit in the TTC after loss forum as i know i will be much happier once i am pregnant again. I hope to see you there, you have been through a lot losing 3 babies. Do you have any other children? we don't.
Hope to hear from you again and i hope you are managing ok... but remember it's ok if your not and it's ok to cry for hours on end. i have and still do. I made the mistake of taking on a new stressful job and i don't recommend that.

Thanks Fiona, I have been going well. I went back to work on Thursday, I had enough of sitting at home and constantly thinking about the same thing over and over again or just sleeping. Most of my family & friends all live in or around Perth so other then them calling there is not much else to do (Well, that I have the motivation to do). My mum and sister keep asking to come down but I feel like I will be happy for them to care and do everything for me (as my poor husband has been doing) and I wont cope when they leave.
I am also considering going part time at work (3 days a week) they (my managers & collegues) have been absolutely fantastic, and I think that they will approve it. Money wise it possibly isnt the best idea, but for myself I think it is the best thing I could do.
My husband and I do not have any other children, Gracie would have been our first - actually she is our first really. On Friday we received her ashes back from King Edwards and the midwife at the local hospital had a lady from mental health services contact me, so I have to arrange a time to see her next week.
My OB has suggested that we wait three months before trying again and to go see him when we make the decision to start trying. We have had most of the tests results back, which have come up with nothing, so I am a little worried about trying again. But I will probably start checking out the TTC section - I would like to pick everyones brains about preparing myself (physically & mentally)
I hope that the people from SIDS & Sands are really helpful, and I will see you around the TTC & Pregnancy Forums.
Fiona, I am so sorry for your loss :hug: Life can be so cruel sometimes, and I am just heartbroken for you. Please know that you and Gav are in my thoughts and prayers.

You told the story of his birth so well and I am so glad you and your extended family were able to share some special moments with Tre. I am sure you all treasure that time.
It's such a sensitive topic, I almost didnt want to reply... Nobody wants to say the wrong thing.
But it's just heart breaking. So unfair.
There is nothing anyone can say or do to take the pain away...
I would like to think that Tre was so special and so so precious, that God couldn't stand being away from him and wanted him to come straight home.

I was in tears just reading the headline and when I read your story, my heart broke for you and your family.
No woman should ever have to go through what you are going through. It is so cruel.
You mentioned that lots of people seem to act as if you had never been pregnant and had never given birth to your son. I guess they are very cautious and don't want to bring up painful feelings for you. It is so hard to know how to act in such a situation. I guess some people are also more inclined to talk about it then others and they might just assume that you would bring it up if you wanted to talk about it?
But you have been pregnant. You have carried your gorgeous boy for 36 very special weeks. In those weeks you have given him the best of you. Please do not feel guilt. What has happened is not your fault. I am sure he felt how much he was loved and wanted, even if he never got to "meet" you. He will forever be a part of you.
You ARE a mother. And a most wonderful at that. You have given this special little boy more love in those few weeks before he was born than some unfortunate children receive in a lifetime.
I hope that now that your body knows how to get pregnant, a second pregnancy will not be too far off and that it will be a healing process for you. Your next child will have the most wonderful guardian angel watching over him or her.

Im so sorry that you joined BB with such heart ache :hug: you have touched me as my little man had simular issues but on the other side of the birth (blood clotting ect)
please try and get into the other thread's here on BB...we are made hatter's and i find when im having a bad day that there is always someone on here that puts a smile on my face or even makes me laugh. the BB girls are extremely supportive and are great when yuo need a cyber shoulder or 100 ;)
And please try and be gentle on your self..tender hugs and warmth hon to you and your DH
I'm so sorry for your loss and thank you for sharing your story about your son Tre. I can't imagine what you are going through, but your story has brought tears to my eyes, and I hope your counselling sessions are helping you attain some level of peace. I wish you well and hope that somehow you are coping ok. Sending you big hugs. :comfort:
So incredibly sorry for your and DH's loss. Not sure if I'm wording this right, but you sound incredibly strong for birthing your beautiful Tre the way you did. I can't begin to imagine what you and DH are going through :hug:. Take care and I'm sure you'll find amazing support here on BB.

Oh Fiona, i am so sorry for your loss. I dont agree with it but i can see how the support around you in falling away. But you will miss you beautiful son forever. Please use BB to talk if you cant get the bonnie babes people. BB is a very supportive place. I feel your pain and wish i could share it to lessen your load!

Im so sorry, thank your for sharing your story. The only experience i've had is miscarriage early on in pregnancy and I know how hard that was but i cant image what you and your husband must be going thru.
I hope you find peace soon.
