I found mini M&M's worked better for me than normal ones but each to their own.

Mel I think this fudge will always have a life of its own coz it is so addictive & so easy to make & alter to suit what you do & don't like.

I've had so much self control not making this up until this point.
All that self control has gone out the window today though. I've made a batch of choc chip cookies and now the fudge with peppermint crisps. Now I'm waiting patiently for it to set in the freezer!

Oooh, I made this for my book club last night again... they all love it! Then tell me they're all on diets... well, Mel's the evil one, not me!

Does anyone else think they'd make twice as much if they didn't have to keep "testing" it whilst it is cooking away?

Recipe threads generally aren't subject to that rule

Has anyone made any, this year?

I'm so tempted to get the boys in the car and go and get the ingredients!
Might hold off until DF gets home as he has to go to his weigh in at the chemist!

This year? I can tell you I haven't made any this month, but this year? Several times! In fact all my friends love it so I am simply forced to make it all the time.

    This sounds great!

DH wants to know if you could add fresh cherries to it instead of lollies?
