Tocarra - Don't lose hope sweetness, you'll get your little miracle. We ALL will!
I think I ovulated yesterday, but DH and I are still going to BD tonight just in case. I reckon you should just keep bd'ing until you are sure you have ovulated :D
plc - I'm sure everything will be 100% at your scan!
Joey - I'm not sure about an answer to your question. I had to have a d&c because I had really bad ms and my body hadn't realised that my angel had passed away. I know that a d&c totally removes the lining of the uterus, but I'm not sure if a miscarriage would have such a total effect. Hopefully one of the other girls that have miscarried naturally will be able to answer your question better than me.
I talked to the midwives at my ob office today. They rang because there had been a problem with my health insurance, which they managed to fix before I rang them back anyway (my name was spelt wrong on my health insurance) *sigh*. Anyway, while I had her on the phone I remembered to ask about what tests were done by pathology after my d&c. I was kinda hoping that they did genetic tests (and could tell me what sex the baby was too), but they basically do some routine tests looking for abnormal cells (cancer etc...). She said it's more about the mother than the baby. Apparently they check because in case there is something abnormal about the mother that prevents her from carrying pregnancies. I'm glad it all came back fine. Oh, and we're going to continue calling my angel a girl because we still think she was.
My angel's star bear should arrive any day now!

Hey, we made it to 10 pages before the mods noticed! *high five* ;)
Are we meant to tell them? Eeep!
-
jen - your chart is looking great , fingers crossed for you and everyone else
-
Hi Jen - The 2 girls in Queensland ... here's a link to a news article about it. Terrible Twins' mother posted struggle online - National - smh.com.au
Good luck with your unpacking. What a drag. That's always the worst part of a holiday! Good luck with your POAS on Friday.
MollyCat - Thanks. I actually had this girl in my class last year, but seems she's taken a turn for the worse with the attitude of late. I really love my class though. There are a few that make me earn my money, but they really are a great group. I'm so lucky I have a job I enjoy.
Lisa- Fingers crossed for you. I got really gassy with my pregnancy too. I thought it may have been a sign and then bingo BPF!! But unfortunately followed by mc. I really hope you will get a BFP soon! Only 2 days to go till you can POAS!!
Mel - So you don't know what you're having? How far along are you? That is spooky that you both had the same dream!! I'm glad to hear you're feeling positive.
KL - Glad to hear there's another Granny on BB!! I don't like to go out much either. My PJ's and the couch is just too cumfy!! How sad am I! I enjoy going out to dinner, can't say I know how to knit though. Do you really, or is that sarcasm that I didn't pick up on?? Would the dr be able to send me for a scan just to check out the lining of my uterus? That could be helpful. I feel a bit funny asking him though seeing he said to me that i should wait 3, but really wait one, and here i am thinking about TTC straight away. Good to hear all your results came back good. What's the deal with the 10 pages thing??
Toccara - You might be lucky enough to catch the egg. I beleive it hangs around for 24 hours. Good luck.
WTH - Bring on the MS? What's MS?
Thanks so much to everyone who has done their best to answer my annoying questions. I think I will just have to wait a cycle  to be safe. :wall: We won't TTC this cycle, but I don't really know when I'll O until it's too late, so we'll just see what happens. What ever happens happens for a reason. and here's another one: Happiness is the ultimate realisation that everything was and is as it should be.
Take care everyone :grouphug:
Joey xx

Hi All,
Crappy flu still hanging round :(:(. better to have it now than when DH and I are try again.
Mel - congrats on the scan - very exciting
Smilanatu - good luck with your DVDing :sperm::sperm: hope the swimmers are ready
Acria and Jen - best of luck for testing
Joey - I MC naturally... I had a very heavy Af for 3 weeks so I am assuming the lining and all came away. My next Af was also very heavy so I would follow the doc advise and wait for this to be over. You want the lining to be as healthy as possible. MS means morning sickness I think.
I Ov late so have to wait til next Fri or Sat... seems so far away before we can try again.
3 BFP's - they say these things come in 3's...... I up for being one of the next set of 3's - who's with me !!!:dance:
-
wow i have been so grumpy today, and not felling 100%, roll on tomorrow
-
easha : im with you! bring on more BFPs:clap::clap::clap:
mel: great to hear that your scan went well sweets :) thats wonderful news!
smilinatu: good luck with the BDing, looks like a few of us are ready for a BDathon soon:ttc:
jen: good luck with testing babe, please keep us posted:2ww:...ooh , your chart does look good!
wth: heres sending you heaps of MS (who ever thought wed be asking for MS!!this is what our lives have come to!!)
AFM, just looking forward to our weekend away of BD time:ttc: we are using OPK's, temping, trying to do all the right things this month...so:crossfingers:
-
Bettyboop - I hope your feeling better soon hun! Are you just feeling down, or do you think you might be catching something? In either case here's some hugs for you
Joey - Don't worry, I don't really knit. Although, I did recently think about taking it up... Hehe. And I think that if you told you dr that you are passionate about trying again and really want to have your uterus lining checked, then hopefully he would be ok with getting you a scan. Luckily my ob has an ultrasound machine in his office, so he can dot he scan himself. I'm not sure how quickly you can get into an ultrasound place. No harm in asking though!
Oh, and usually when the thread gets to 9 pages a mod makes a new thread for us and locks the
"full" one :)
Tina - Sounds like you have all the bases covered! Can you usually feel when you ovulate? If you do then that's just an extra indicator for you!
Jen - I'm itching to see your next temp!!!
-
Mel A... Sooo happy for you and the good strong HB!!!
KrystieLove...LOL...hopefully no one will bring popcorn and ask to join
Easha...Aww...feel beter soon...dang ol flu bug! Count me in I want a BFP ASAP!!! I am willing to be one of however many!
Tina_K...get ur bd on and catch that eggie!!!
jen... *wavin* time to test again yet? I know nothing about charts but everyone seems to think yours is looking real promising...I got my fingers crossed for you gurlie!!!

Well, got another BFN this am with a $ store test, am 13DPO, so would think if I were pg it would show by now. Was trying to figure out the whole triphasic chart thing, hoping that maybe it's still a day or two too early to test, but my chart isn't indicating a triphasic pattern or anything yet. I think I read that it could take up to 7 days after implantation dip to show a pattern, so am hoping that tomorrow a.m. will have a temp jump. Have been headachy for the last 4 days in a row, so was hoping that that was a promising sign... The test I used was a cheapie, and it did say it was for in-vitro diagnostics only (don't know whether that makes a difference or not, but that's what the test said), with sensitivity to hcg at 25, so I don't know, maybe still just too early. Of course, I'll be bummed if AF shows her ugly face, but I guess it will give me more practice with the temping, and I'll get to use the rest of the Preseed that I bought, but Grrr! was really hoping this would be my girl! Feeling anxious for the day to be over so I can go to bed and wake up to take my next temp--and it's only 8:20! lol... it's going to be a long day for me!
Mel--Congrats on seeing that beautiful little :heartbeat: Will be waiting to hear whether your dreams of a DD come true!
Krystie--Thanks for the link about the twins--it's so tragically sad! :( Hope the parents get locked in a cell to starve to death! Glad to hear your BT's came back normal, that's gotta be a relief, I know it was for me! Still think it's a great idea that you got a star for your angel girl, how did you go about doing that? Had a look at your chart, looks like you've been keeping DH busy, and he's still giving up the goods! :crossfingers: this is your cycle!!
Toccara--I believe you can still get pg 24 hours after O, so :bd: away, girl!
WTH--Glad to hear you're going to enjoy this pg'cy--you deserve it! Bring on the m/s!
plc--Oooh, how exciting, only 6 more sleeps to go till your next scan! Will you try to find out the sex, or are you one that likes to be surprised?
joey--No questions are annoying questions, I promise! I didn't have a D & C, and my first cycle after m/c lasted for 7 days and was definitely heavier than usual (this was early Mar). Then the end of Mar. cycle also lasted 7 days, with 7 days of very light spotting after AF left. Apr. cycle was 7 days of only spotting, and May's cycle was pretty much normal for me. Obviously each woman is different, so I'm not really sure whether that answers your question or not! Either way, I think the first cycle after m/c cleans everything out of the uterus, but that's what a normal AF does, so I think it's pretty much the same as a regular AF--but don't quote me on that, I could be wrong! Sorry, I'm probably not much help, feels like I'm going round and round without really answering your question! I've heard a woman is very fertile after a m/c, so it could "accidentally" happen when you weren't really trying (but not really preventing it either!) Good luck, hun! Oh, and thanks for the link re: the twins.
bettyboop--Took a look at your chart, it's looking great! I've not been feeling up to my usual self either, this is 2 days in a row now, so :crossfingers: for us both!!!
Easha--I'm up for the task, as well! Let's bring on the BFP's!!
tina--I'm sure you're looking forward to your weekend getaway! you catch that egg!
-
Thanks smilanatu! :hello: Have fun with DVD'ing this weekend, go catch that egg!

You know you're addicted to BB when:
1. You sign a 2-year contract and pay $60 more per month just to have wireless internet service for a 5 day camping trip! lol...
2. Your significant other walks in on you checking the position of your cervix, and actually gets turned on from it!
3. You resort to becoming an adult film industry advocate!
4. You read, post, and then refresh to read again in case you missed a post while posting!
5. You dream of being the first to post in the new thread!
6. You feel like you are wasting urine when you don't pee on a stick!
7. You see abbreviations in everyday life and try to work out what they mean in the TTC world (eg. DVD must stand for something like "Doing the vjay vjay dance"...)
8. When you get excited about choosing a new ticker....oh the choices!!!!!
9. You actually think in emoticons and abbreviations...and occasionally call your husband DH....and he says, "what the hell did you call me????".
10. And the biggest one of all....DH actually asks if it was a light or dark "BFP" (not positive test) and whether or not you used "FMU" to test!!!! (all in abbreviations...)
11. When getting a coverline makes you so happy, you feel as though you won the lottery!
12. When you look forward to going to bed just so you can wake up in the morning and add a new temp!
13. You say you are taking a break from bb and then spend 24 hours trying to do anything but log on, including cleaning, washing, ironing, shopping, all the while saying to yourself don't do it don't do it don't do it before finally breaking down and getting your bb fix...
14. You drag yourself out of bed at 6 am every morning even though you're still tired, just to have "quiet alone time" on BB while the kids are still sleeping!
15. You get the butterflies while logging on to read posts!
16. You keep your computer on all day long so you know as soon as someone has made a post!
17. You know you are addicted to BB when you go to put the date on something and you end up writing 9 DPO!
18. You're whole day is ruined just because you can't log onto BB, and you feel like you're going to go insane without your BB fix!
19. You climb a slide and drive up the tallest hills at your camp spot trying to find a signal so your laptop will work!
20. You bring your laptop to the drive-in with you so you can check on posts in between shows!
Looking great so far! Let me know if you think of any and I'll add them to the list! Still hoping this is ok with the mods!

Mel - that's wonderful with your scan, don't worry too much about the weight loss, that is quite common in a lot of pg. With my two boys I lost about 10kg in the first few months, this was the only weight I put back on (at least until after they were born - then I don't know what happened)
Betty - I hope you feel so much better today
Easha - why stop at 3 - let the next group be so much bigger (why not aim for 10 BFP's)
AFM - I feel so much better (in myself) at the moment, I've got over the news from monday, I understand my mother is happy about having another grandchild, just for us the timing is so lousy, if it had been three months ago or three months later it wouldn't matter. Anyway we've decided to go on a picnic on saturday (hope the weather holds) I'm sure DH will put in a few fishing rods and we'll end up at the river. His other option was at his relatives property (they have a house no one uses on their property) he suggested a picnic there but I said then I'd have to deal with his uncle and aunt and don't know whether I want to.
Jen - hoping your test is just a cheap one and your BFP is hiding from you, remember some don't show up until after AF is due. Your temps still look good. Mine have gone back to normal this morning (threw another blanket on the bed last night)
Cause there is a lot of BD'ing due I'm just going to throw around some :pink-babydust::bluedust: and for all our pg friends :stickyvibesgirl::stickyvibesboy:

jen your chart looks great , you might need to get a more sensitive test, good luck. i am felling abit better today, who is next to test?

Time for a new thread everyone.
