mannie--Welcome, hon, you're not barging in! Thanks for joining us. I'm so sorry to read of your loss! :hug: After my m/c (without D&C) I bled for a week, then had my shortest cycle ever at 25 days.... it's progressively gotten normal, back to 28/29 days.... just takes time and is different for everyone. I was told to wait 2 cycles to begin TTC, but didn't listen and began right away.... still trying! You'll know when you're ready to begin again... for me, I felt I had to become pg right away to get over my loss, but again, everyone's different, and you'll know when it's right for you! You're in my thoughts and prayers! Feel free to find a comfy spot among us--we'll all do what we can to support you!

WTH: Thank you momma!! yeah I can't believe I'm 2 days away from being 10 weeks!! in 2 more weeks I get to see bub again.. I had a nightmare last night.. had me wake up in tears.. It was a strange one though.. ok.. I had like this "device" that let me see into my womb ( DARN wish I had that device in real life!! LOL) anywho... I looked into my womb and saw my bub and the little heart wasn't moving.. the baby was dead.. I woke up in tears and crying.. I guess since it's my worst fear it lingers in my head and I ended up dreaming of it??.. I hate those kinda dreams.. When Erick was newborn ( remember he was a preemie) I dreamed he was so small and cold I put him inside two loaves of bread to make him warm and I ate him without knowing,... I also woke up in a sweat and tears.. **sssiiiiiigghhh*** Stupid DREAMS!!!!:rolleyes:

Mannie: I'm so very sorry for you r loss.. Geez When I m/c my last baby I actually bled so much just like you and on my pad I saw my beautiful bub.. it was intact .. the sac and all.. the thought of it gives me shivers. It's so painful to remember the baby looked so perfect.. I read that most m/c happen cuz the fetus was not developing well.. for what I saw that bub looked perfect. :(
I did take liquid Iron cuz my bleeding was so heavy I had anemia.. do take care of yourself. Since I was 6 weeks just like you the doc told me to rest one cycle and TTC again... but unfortunately I have infertility to top it off ( anovulation) so it has been 2 years since... and I conceived this bub on fertility meds.. I have 2 years I don;t ovulate at all.. being that I only have had like 6 periods total in the last 2 years.:(

Ruthie - any home remedies for M/S? mine seems to last all day and I feel like throwing up all the time but can't. Hard when I'm at work and just need to sleep:wall:

larz: i know how your feeling! i wake up and feel like i want to be sick, it lasts all day until about 6/7pm then i dont feel too bad. It does make you feel tired. i have a desk job where i'm at a computer all day and i just want to put my head down and sleep.!!

Your so lucky getting to see little bub again, i want another scan to so i know everything is ok.

I had one at 5 weeks to confirm the pregnancy and got to see a little heart beat so that was comfort, but i want another one so i know its still there!

Any way ginger buscuits are my life line at the moment, packet in my draw at work, packet by my bed lol they are everywhere.

Hope the sickness eases off for you soon

Tam - Just wondering if you were still waiting on any more test results before TTCing again, or whether it's full-steam-ahead? I hope that you DH's "Michael Phelps" freestyle their way to the finish line this month!
Thanks for the well-wishes for my potential BFP :) I'm being strong and not testing until at least 12DPO this cycle. It's kinda made the TWW go faster. I'm already 7DPO!

WTH - I found a chart that has the average thickness of the uterus lining during your cycle. Hope it helps you! I always thought that the lining should be at least 7mm too, but according to all the info I could find it says "The endometrium thickness is usually between 0.5 and 5mm". Maybe 7mm and higher is wanted for couple undergoing fertility treatment... Not sure though.

5 - 1.5mm
10 - 2.25mm
15 - 3.0mm
20 - 4.0mm
25 - 5.0mm

Mannie - I am very sorry to hear about your loss :( Unfortunately I can't give you much advice about miscarrying naturally and I had to have a d&c because my body hadn't realised that my baby had passed away.I hope that once you recover from you loss, that you TTCing journey is short and sweet and that you have a beautiful little earth baby in your arms. I am very glad that you have found us in this thread :hug: Take whatever time you need to heal, and grieve in whatever way works for you. There is no right or wrong way to grieve :hug:

Jade - It' probably different for each lady, but after I lost my angel I waited about 4 weeks for my hcg to drop, and then I ovulated, then 14 days later AF came. The waiting and not-knowing part is just so hard isn't it?! I found that I felt better by getting hcg bloods done just to see where I was at. Perhaps you could get your dr to write you a form for the bloods? At least knowing the hcg level will let you know whether you still have a bit of waiting to do, or whether ovulation is imminent.

Angel nuffer - Ok, now I'M having some serious withdrawls! I saw your little green light on last night and was suuuure you would be in chat! Hmmm, maybe during the fertile period those little green lights should be little red lights instead. You know, like those "places" ;) :ROFL:

Sorry your night away wasn't quite the romantic getaway you expected. My friend just did one of those with her DH and one the way home she realised that she left her underwear in the bed! :ROFL:

Oh, and when DH and I got married, the hotel forgot to give us breakfast! Then I accidentally left my weddingnight lingerie in the room and they tried to charge me to mail it to me! So DH called them back and told them if they were going to bill $1.50 for postage, then they better refund the $55 dollars for the breakfast we didn't receive. They decided to send it for free, lol.

AFM - I had an acupuncture apt today and it was heaven again. Got my needles and then they used the Moxa (the harry potter mugwort stuff) to do heat therapy. The I got a foot and leg massage (soooooo goooooooood!!!!) and then she did some guided relaxation stuff which was so soothing. So worth the money :ROFL:

SMI.. as if we would ditch cha.... goodness....... and as for that wayward sperm.... BUGGER........ thats the least Lee could have done... a going away pressie as such...;)

Talking bout undies..... I forgot to take any...ROFL..... I got there and realised... then had to take off the ones i had that night and hand wash them and hang them up off the mini kitchen cupboard doors to dry for the next day..... then when breakfast was brought in that morning i quickly had to take them down before i could open the door... quite humerous really considering how classy the room was and there i am with my nickers hanging in between cupboards..

PS furtile time has gone..... in the last week of the 2ww at the moment.... then onto clomid and IUI... the good news is we have already given our future bubs a nick name.... Turkey...... as in Turkey baster... sorry.. thought i would explain... not everyone gets it cause they dont get my sick humour.
