Jen: Glad DS surgery went okay - the poor little thing but sounds like a very brave young man.
Just a quick me post : I have been a nervous wreck for two days - wish I could just be more zen! Anyway just had scan and all is going beautifully - wonderful heart beat still and a quick measure showed 8 weeks 5 days give or take a couple of days so that is all good. Have my official 10 week visit next friday so only another week to wait. Hoping I can now relax and enjoy again - and praying spotting stays away cos that just really worries me every time.
:grouphug: to everyone - hoping to see lots of BFPs in this thread very soon.
-
Babymiracles - Great to hear that the scan went well. I can't wait until mine. It must have been such a relief to see the little heart beating away! I keep dreaming of that day. :D
Megsmum - Thanks for the advice. I am coping relatively well and trying to keep my anxiety at bay. But you are right it is hard sometimes!!
Jen - Glad DS is recovering well.
-
babymiracles - :hooray: for a good scan!! Glad you went and had it done and hopefully you can relax at least for the weekend or so. GL for next Fri too :)
-
Jen - so glad it all went well. Kids can be so resilient can't they? It's usually us that falls apart! I hope you can still make your Dr's apt next week or at least reschedule to a date not too far away? and an extra one for DS
Babymiracles - I am so sorry, I just realised I didn't post Happy Birthday to you  Hope you had a wonderful day and it's such great news about your scan. Do whatever you need to to ease your anxiety.
Be back later for more persies.....
-
I'm back but no-one else seems to be around! Hopefully it means you all have a more exciting social life than me ;)
Boble - I completely understand about wanting/needing answers. When I had the op a couple of weeks ago it was our last chance for answers. I think we had done every other test we could think of! You don't want anything serious to be really wrong with you but you also want answers to why it is so hard! By having the tests though (and the fact everything came back normal) hopefully it can ease some of your anxiety when you do get your BFP! Heaps of :pink-babydust: for this cycle.
plc - Hi! Big  to April!
mrzbaby - I also had a hysterscopy when I had my lap and dye. I'm so sorry you have had to go through all of this but hopefully AF returns soon and you can start to TTC again. My specialist told me that sometimes a 'clean out' can also improve your chances so I truly hope you get your BFP soon. Sending AF vibes your way!
Megsmum - Wow, 17 weeks already - :hooray:
HannahD - How are you doing sweetie?
Polly - Glad to hear you are coping well (as well as you can anyway). Sending you some *stickyvibes* to carry you through to your scan. Oh, and of course you can still come and visit us in here!
Chappas - Hi, how are you feeling?
WTH - Hi, hope everything is going well *stickyvibes*
Mollycat - So glad you popped in, think about you lots and wish you the very best
Smi - Hope you are feeling better and things are looking up?
Hi to Abbey, kaz, coco, theresa, naenae, rhichichi (don't think we have met yet?) and all the other lovely ladies who may be lurking.
AFM - Well, a friend of mine told me she is pg today. I used to work with her and don't see her as much anymore but we email a lot and try to catch up when we can. Her and her DH are about to celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary. I am ashamed to admit that when she told me I felt like I had the wind knocked out of me which happens every time someone tells me they are pg. Will I ever get over this feeling of absolute envy? I feel like such a b*%@# as I am truly happy for them, I just wish it was us as well. She is only 10 weeks and is telling people and saying how her DH wants a boy, they are so innocent about the whole journey which is so nice, I would do anything to have that first pg 'innocence' back. Anyway they were not the cards we were dealt so we just have to keep trying and take each day as it comes. I don't mean to sound ungrateful as I know some couples have been through much worse than us. Just a bit down and negative at the moment!
Started to have cramps on the left side today and according to my charting days I usually o around CD17 so hopefully it is a good sign.
I am just so over waiting.......Waiting for AF to finish, then waiting to o, then the TWW, then waiting to see if AF arrives or if I get those 2 very much wished for lines!
I have never been a very patient person so some days I get so frustrated :wall:
-
Hannah--As much as I would love to have a new charting buddy, I'm  you never have to get back into it! Hope your headache isn't a sign of impending AF, sending lots of :noaf: vibes your way! How's your relaxation CD working for you? You aren't skipping out on your new homework assignment, are you, missy?
mollycat--Sorry I missed our Fri. chat! Slept on the couch with DS all night so I could watch him overnight, and I slept terrible--I've come to realize how uncomfortable our couch is to sleep on! Anyhow, hope to catch up with you during the week, since I'll be stuck at home with DS! *hugs*
NaeNae--Just wanted to give you a big
babymiracles--Congrats on another great scan! :hooray: So relieved for you, my fishy friend! Hope this means you won't have to take a bb break, sure would miss you, but understand if that's what you need to do. Best of luck with your scan next week!
RhiChiChi--:welcome: I'm sorry for the loss which brings you to our humble little thread. I pray you find comfort and support here among us! You're in my thoughts and prayers!
Polly--Sorry to hear you have to wait 5 weeks for your scan! You sound amazingly calm and seem like you're coping fairly well. Sending you some extra sticky :stickyvibesgirl: to get you thru! How nice of your OB to offer a quickie scan in the event of needing some reassurance! Big *hugs* for you!
boble--Glad to hear your test results came back normal, but completely understand your feelings of frustration at not getting the answers that you're so desperately trying to find! *hugs*
mrzbaby--Sorry to hear you had to go back into the hospital on Wed. for the hysterscopy and another D&C! The end result will be worth all your effort! Praying for a quick recovery so you can get back to TTC! *hugs*
Mel--Woo-hoo for O!! Hope you've got your BD shoes on! :pink-babydust:

Hi ladies....
Sorry I am not here anymore ladies. Unfortunately, I have cancer and cannot have anymore children.:crying: As soon as I am done with treatments and wallowing in my own self-pity, I will be back to support the rest of you. Love you all!
Ruthie

Ruthie - I just want to give you a big  I am so sorry that you have had such devastating news. Is there anything that can be done for treatments that will help you? I am  for you and please remember that you are in my prayers and thoughts. Hold close to the ones that you love around you. xoxox

Ruthie - I am so sorry, I cant even imagine what you are going through. All the best for the fight ahead. xox

Oh Ruthie!
I wish there was more that I could do, but all I can say is that you're in my thoughts, sweetheart. Sometimes there just isn't any sense in why things happen! I hope that you have your friends and family around you. Remember we're all 'here' for you in spirit too.
Take care,
M

Hey all,
This is *Julia* posting. I just changed my user name as I know a lady from playgroup who is a bb member and she doesn't know about my m/c or that we are ttc. I just want to remain sort of annonymous....sorry for the confusion.
Polly - Try not to worry too much about not having symptons.... maybe you are having them but you just can't tell yet? - IYKWIM. I totally understand about feeling so nervous, particularly around the time of the m/c. I can't offer any words of advice, but big hugs and am thinking of you. Sounds like you are being looked after by a great OBS.
Boble - I guess it is sort of comforting to know there is nothing wrong, but at the same time if you knew, maybe there would be more control or give you answers??? Not sure if that is truly how you are feeling but I think of that from time to time. Great that they will let you come in for an early scan - it all helps with getting through such a trying time. So many emotions - happy that you're pg, scared of the worst....
Jen - Glad all went well with ds surgery!
mrzbaby - Hugs hun. So sorry to hear you went back to hospital. We will probably do the same as you and dh, that way I don't have to try to calculate when my body is o'ing...
Babymiracles - Fantastic news with the scan! What a great feeling seeing that hb. I hope the spotting buggers off too.
Mel - Totally understand how you are feeling, am being surrounded by pg friends and family atm or maybe it feels like that cos we are ttc? What you are feeling is no different than most of us. Yeah, we're happy for them but hey - what about us?! Sounds like you have heaps of positive signs this month, gl...
Ruthie - I am truly sorry. Your post floored me and I am crying now. Trying to type through the river of tears flowing... I don't know what to say.
Anyhoo - just a quick drop in... got a bit to do.
Have a great weekend all...
xx

Ruthie - I am so sorry to hear your devastating news :comfort:. My heart goes out to you. I am not sure what else to say, I can't even imagine what you must be feeling. Know that we are always here for you if you need to talk. This is not the end, you can fight this. I am  for you and your family.
-
 Oh, Ruthie.... I can't even find the words.... :( I'm so very sorry to hear of your devastating news. :comfort: I'm sure you're feeling very scared and alone, I  you're getting support and the treatments that you need! Please, please keep us posted--and don't ever forget that we all love you and are here for you, whether you're TTC or not!!! You're like family, hon, remember that! Super big  for you and your family. You're in my thoughts and prayers!
-
Ruthie - I don't know what to say...I am absolutely floored. You are in my thoughts and prayers more than ever. You will always be welcome here. I  you and your family can find the strength to get through this.
Mel - I understand how you are feeling. I find it hard to hear other people's pregnancy and birth announcements. It is perfectly natural to have mixed feelings about it. I just tell myself that I am happy for them, I'm just more sad for me. And there is nothing wrong with feeling that way. Big  to you hun. I hope this is your month.
babymiracles - So glad the scan went well yesterday. All the best for next week's.
jen - The relaxation CD is wonderful. I know I get tense (hence the headaches) but its not until I properly relaxed that I realised how much. This is one homework assignment I will NOT be skipping out on. Glad DS is recovering well.
Sorry for no more persies. I've been reduced to lurking the past couple of days due to my headache. I finally feel better this morning so DH and I are going to catch up with some friends who live on the other side of town and their 4-month old son. I'll try and get back tonight. Have a great weekend ladies.

Hi Gurlies...
Just a quick update...I was laid-off work last Friday (the 20th) and I have been wallowing in self pity ever since...it's just so difficult right now because Lee was already laid-off...he's been off work for about 2 months...it just sucks because we should be so happy right now and all I seem to do is stress and worry...
I am praying and I know things will get better...I just need patience...meanwhile I'll try not to be a lurker or stranger...
-
Ruthie - I am so sorry to hear your news. I hope you have found drs who can give you the best care there is. I hope that one day soon you can post telling us that you are in remission...
