Hi there everyone :)
:welcome: amandanurse and I am sorry for loss. I am sure you feel like you are running out of time but there are many success stories so don't give up :) Fingers crossed this is your month!
Ferrals that is *fantastic*! I'm really excited for you, I bet you are pg before you know it xoxoxoxo
toomanyshoes There's nothing wrong with pruning the family tree! Out family tree looks more like a twig now
Sunbeam come and join me on the weight loss thread ;) I'm so excited that today is my weigh day and I've lost 2.2kg in 4 weeks YAY http://forums.bellybelly.com.au/foru...pport-4-a.html
Coco I've sent you an email honey xo
SuperstarMumsy it's a tough choice to tell or not tell.... that is the question? For us it was pretty easy not to tell, next time we will be keeping it to ourselves for as long as we can, maybe 14 weeks..... I would hate to have had to tell everyone about my last 2 losses...
Tanya any news on a BFP from a POAS today?
AFM dh took his swimmer sample in for testing today so we will have the results for my OB appointment on Wed, I have still been bleeding lightly everyday so I think I will have a D&C Friday which I am ok with. I'm just happy to be loosing weight and looking to the future :)

Hello Ladies,
Amanda-hi and welcome to our thread :hello:. This is an amazing group of women so I hope you find all the support you need. I am 37 (38 in a few weeks) and trying for my first, many of us here are late 30's.
Ferrals- I am sooooo happy for you :happyforyou: that is fantastic news. No having to go 12 weeks wondering and worrying, it will be healthy babies all the way.
Cherished-I may look in on the weight loss thread thanks. My friend and I are doing Tony Ferguson, I did it once before and found it pretty easy.
Okay, please help I am totally freaking out. I looked in my book last night and if I conceive this month my baby would be due on the EXACT same day that I lost my last 2, on Anzac Day! I don't know what to make of it, when I saw that I just burst into tears and bawled for ages. I'm not even pg yet so it may not even matter but if I do fall then how am I supposed to feel, how am I supposed to cope or believe that the baby will be okay. If I could I would probably skip this month because of that but donor daddy is away for next month so we'd have to wait till October to try again and I don't want to do that. I feel like I'm being tested in some way and its scaring me. :crying:
-
Amanda - :welcome: Its unfortunate everyone in this thread has to meet because of such horrible circumstances but at least having all been through loss ourselves we're better equipped to help each other through the heart ache and stress that can come with TTC again. I hope you get your :bfp: very very soon!
Cherished - As far as I?m concerned DH side of the family doesn?t exist. :dunno:
Tanya - sorry to hear it?s a BFN again :crossfingers: still.
Ferrals - :happyforyou: That?s awesome news, you must be very happy things can get underway sooner!
Coco - I hope your feeling a little better today, don?t be too hard on yourself, I?m sure almost everyone here agrees with what you said and understands how your feeling.
Sunbeam - Wow I don't know how that would make me feel. If you really dont want to wait then you should go for it! As stupid as it sounds, maybe its a good sign that this time its going to stick! What you were meant to have on that day will finally happen!
-
Cherished I hope all goes well for your DH's swimmers :)
Sunbeam... If I am pg this cycle, I will be due very close to Banjo's birthday.... It really is tough to not think about dates and the what-if's. xx
-
Sunbeam-if all goe's to plan and my ivf cycle is at the end of 0ct begining of Nov that would make the baby or babie's due in August the same time abbi was but that's only if it work's so if i were you try not to think of it as a bad thing and that maybe your liitle one is trying to get back to you.
-
ferrals that is so wonderful sweeety congratulations!!! :confetti:
cherished: gor ur email sent a quick reply but will reply again later :P
sunbeam: so are you utd? or have u tested? or not sure? if ur utd then that's wonderful!
I wouldnt be worried about the dates corresponding with anything at this point Id just be happy to be pregnant!!!
I keep POAS with the OPK incase I havent ovulated yet  wishful thinking!!
I wrote in another thread that Im not sure whether I ovulated and the surgery probably destroyed the eggie, which I guess is fine, I needed the surgery done and glad I got one answer out of it, but now I dont know where I am in my cycle and whether to just keep basing it on a 28 day cycle or not??
And if they cut all the endo out, does that mean my period will differ from what it has been before? Will I spot or will it just come out red first go :dunno: I dont know what a normal period is now! :help:

Morning all, hope everyone is feeling as good as we can be for a monday morning.
I havent posted for a while as i dont really have much to add, nothing at all has changed for me. Still waiting for AF to arrive after the d&c and it feels like its been forever. I hope it doesnt take to much longer so we can start TTC again :crossfingers:
Ferals that is such fantastic news about the IVF, 6 weeks will fly by before you know it.
Sunbeam thats must be a hard situation to face but just think of the joy for when you do get that longed for BFP and hopefully that will outweigh it and you can have a H&H pg
Cherished congratulations on the weight loss hunny thats great and also good luck with getting dh swimmers tested hopefully it is all good news. Will be thinking of you friday.
Tanya hopefully it is just to early and thats why you got a bfn and maybe in a couple more days you will get the bfp your after :crossfingers:
toomanyshoes of course having another baby is the right thing to do if thats what you really want. Hopefully it will happen for you very soon
:welcome: amanda, hopefully your stay here is short but while you are here you will get all the support you need
coco i hope you are feeling a little better today. It is so frustrating how some people can be so inconsiderate of our felings and you are so right that they have no idea what it is like if they havent been through it. Cheer up hunny and hopefully you will get your sticky little bundle very soon
:hello: to anyone i may have missed and i hope you all had a good weekend
Bye for now

And thanx Tanya :) ive tried to make a signature, lets see if it shows up eh..
Well as far as my test goes, im thinking weve missed this month cuz im already starting to cramp up :( Wondering if it might be worth just waiting an extra day rather then wasted a test..

Well..that's the plan anyhow bahahahaha!! WOO!

Hi Kyra- I was pretty confused by it all to start with too. There is a really good list to help you. If you go to the first forums page you'll see a listing for "Forum help, Abbreviations and FAQs" if you click on that and go to the 3rd entry on the list "common jargon and Abbreviations" it has heaps listed and explained there. Hope that helps.
-
hehe
That sounds like a plan coco *thumbs up*:D
ill let u all know how it pans out.. tho with every minute im getting more of the regular AF symptoms *haha im getting forum fluent! :D*
and i just worked out TWW by myself (google) *Gloats*
Good Luck coco!! and everyone on here! Will post again in a few days.. :)

Tmi everyone!!!
Hi I need to round up the ladies who have had the laparoscopy again cos I have more questions...
:tmi::tmi::tmi::tmi:
I cant poo...last one was thursday..I am having parachoc, a liquid laxative. At first it was I couldnt "push" because my stomach muscles are understandably sore, but now. its just..it isnt coming...
I am having trouble with my memory..like every day I have to struggle to remember the day before and the days previous..Is that normal?
-
coco - have you had much to eat lately? as in since you had it done? that could be the problem...If your worried you should pop back to the doc...hope your feeling better soon
-
Yeah I have eaten...and included some greens etc in it..and fibre so..
MIL is a trained nurse and she said that the anathesia (sp) can sometimes cause constipation..but 4 days? Ouch!
-
coco - ouchies indeed  make sure you drink lots!
Well 99% sure I O'ed today....Picking DH up from the airport soon so put me down for my TWW...TMI?
Yes I'm saying it now in black and white so I cant chicken out of DTD at the last minute!
So worried already and not even pregnant yet!

Hello ladies. I don't see many familiar faces. I haven't been on this forum in awhile... and to be honest, I hate that I'm back here, if you know what I mean. I found out two weeks ago that my baby's heartbeat had stopped. DH and I saw it beating strong at 6 wks, but 10 days later, it was still. It was still measuring at 6 wks. It's strange how the greatest moment of my life and the worst moment of my life occured in the same room, sitting on the same table, watching the same screen. This is my second m/c. My first was in October. I was at 7 wks and 3 days, but hadn't had any ultrasounds, so I never got to see my first baby. It took us 6 months of TTC to finally fall pregnant again. It seemed like forever. Between knowing the really low odds of m/c twice in a row, and the even lower odds of m/c after seeing a strong heartbeat, I was on cloud nine thinking I finally would have a baby in my arms very soon. My sweet baby is still with me, as I chose to have a natural m/c and it hasn't yet started. Does anybody have any advice as far as testing goes? One of the nurses said we should look into testing, and another said testing usually isn't considered until 3 m/c. Two nurses at the same office  I am going in tomorrow to see the actual doctor, so I guess I can ask her, too. I'm saying lots of prayers for all of us that have to go through this devastating experience. :grouphug:
