Just when I'll be starting my TWW!!!! ARGH! It's killing me already! and maybe you're right - that the brown cm was just due to DTD... sometimes that happens with me too.

anila - it'll be ok. You've both been through some pretty huge stress and it's can be hard taking kids out shopping. Don't know about your DH but mine doesn't cope with it real well and we only have 2.

Juleswa - maybe a month off trying would be best. After I MC I waited a month (two parts to that really though cos it was actually too painful physically for me for some reason).

Anila & Smallfry still no RB every time i go to the loo it's just normal cm so i don't know i don't feel like it's comming but what was the brown cm yesterday and i am feeling more positive that they will find what syndrome abbi had so they can test the next baby early a 1 in 4 is a 25% chance of an effected baby a 75% chance of a normal baby we will just cross that bridge when we get to it

Anila- sorry you and hubby fought it?s the one area I guess my situation is different. In a way I?m lucky it?s a stress I don?t have to contend with being that I?m single (but on the flip side I also don?t get the loving support a partner can give, not to mention the joy of having a baby with the partner of your dreams). You are totally right, couples fight, but it?s no reason not to have more children and fulfill your hearts desires.

Juleswa- so sorry to hear you?re your news I was hoping for the best for you. I know a month off sounds good in theory but I also understand the huge desire to be pregnant again asap, we all do.

Ferrrals4- I?m really hoping you get the best news very soon from the genetic tests and a BFP to go with it.:comfort:

My temp is back down to 36.4 again so basically my chart now looks like a 2 hump camel!!!! What the?!? Since the ewcm I?ve been feeling a bit more like DTD so have started doing OPKs again today, nothing showing yet.

Did some major window and wall cleaning and it brought on AF so i am on time in my cycle and i'm ok with it because it will be good to get to see the genetisist first and know where we stand and what test's and option's we have when we do get pregnant so i hope i havn't gone on and on to much about it i'm just trying to reasure myself that it will all work out.

Sunbeam-i have a single friend at work who just found out she is pregnant with donor serm through IVF are you doing the IVF way or natrual way if you don't mind me asking just thought your donor will need to be on call so to speak when it's time to ov.

Smallfryplus-Nah hun not my month you get to put up with me a bit longer.

Greenslw-I can't wait to see your BFP flashing here on monday.

Juleswa-welcome to this thread sorry i took my time just had a bad couple of day's with some not so good news hope you get your BFP soon.

Anila-when a couple is under stress every little thing can turn into major drama i know we are trying to move to a new house clean the old one organise one son's major operation on his ear also juggle these genetic appointment's in sydney (i have been to a few )and we work full time and trying to BD in all this to have a baby it can be stressfull and it seems there is no end to it all but if it means a baby in my arms i will do what it take's i have to bite my tongue and walk away a lot other wise we would be having argument's to so hang in there and just think of what you are trying to achieve.

Mum took me out for some retail therapy, and i started the girls birthday shopping, even though they have 4 yrs between them, they are 5 days apart, lol.

ferrals - so positive about it all. I admire you. Of course, you're totally right, the stress of being pg now and not knowing the results with abbi would be pretty huge. So as much as I'm sad for you, you're right, it's best. ps. happy to put up with you for as long as it takes us both!!

anila - I love the retail shopping. I did that with my two girls today. First with little one after school went in and then after school with both of them. New shoes and some clothes for each of them. Amazing bargains, I love DFO :D brownie points for your hubby with dinner etc. tonight :)

Now there's a question - when a person does fall pregnant, what's the rules on staying in this forum? I feel sad at the thought of not being part of this group when the time comes. I'm not real familiar with it all here. I know the preg tickers are out and that's not a prob, that's fine, just wondering if we have to leave or are allowed to stay still and support friends.

well things are looking up :D
so pizza arrives the delivery dude rattles off all the pizzas we ordered (3) and we get to the kitchen and they are all wrong, so as we were deciding what to do the pizza store called and said that there was a mix up and the delivery dude left before they could change it, he said he would remake our pizza and give a full refund and throw in a bottle of softdrink, so i was happy with that, then i said what should we do with the ones we have now, he said eat them freeze them or chuck them, i said hey i have 5 kids, they will get eaten, so he says in that case ill swap the drink for some magnums for ur kids to eat :D so we ended up with 6 pizzas and 6 magnums (1 box) for free!!!
so we had a great dinner and will be having a great lunch as well.

and hubby and i had cuddles on the lounge so looking all good tonight!!
and he is excited about potentially getting a bfp this cycle.

ewcm should be just before ovulating. Have just recently signed up to fertility friend and have joined the class on fertility. I can't believe I'm learning stuff I didn't know! :redface: but it is very useful. (not that I think I know everything but there's a lot more to falling pregnant than I realised - both times I have successfully done it, I wasn't trying - now that I am trying... I can't seem to work it out! :()

the good news is that lesson 5 (which just arrived in my inbox!) is titled "all about cervical fluid" :) I'll read it and sum it up for you if I can!

Ok, nothing in this lesson about ovulation pain but I always thought pretty much what you seem to think - that the pain happens when the egg is released. Of course, this means that the egg still has a bit of distance to travel but I always assumed that the journey was relatively painless. That could be due to the words used to describe ovulation - rupturing follicles!

Anyway, hope that has helped a little. If you haven't signed up, those lessons are actually really useful - they're free too which is even better. They get emailed one every day and because it's a US website, I get them in the evening which is perfect for me cos I can then sit down and have a read and relax.

I'm due to ovulate in the next 48 hours according to a 'normal person' cycle but think I usually ovulate several days later than that so I may not until mid week. Which means we won't quite be on the same TWW but it'll be close.

Morning beautiful girls :D Smallfry & Anila, ovulation pain can start a few days before ovulation and hang around for 24-36 hours after ovulation or it can start sooner and finish later... Some cycles I hardly feel anything at ovulation time but this last cycle it was so painful I would not have bd if we weren't ttc due to how sore it was down there. For me I found OPK test sticks great because it lets you know when the surge (ovulation) is about to happen, for me it is usually 1-2 days later. EW CM is also a good indicator. I hope that has helped in some way :)

Morning ladie's well the spotting has stopped again iv'e had it twice in 2 day's when on the loo and then nothing when i get my AF they usually just hit with a vengence then they are gone i'm thinking it could be the stress of moving ,abbi, and the fact that my DH is working in sydney 12 hr shirft's so i have to do all the packing and cleaning and organise the move the truck, elec, phone,foxtel,ect anyway i refuse to do another test as i have spotted so i know i can't be pregnant.
And that's somthing that was on my mind to what happen's when we do get pregnant i don't want to leave you girl's

Anila - my recent ov, the first after m/c was SO PAINFUL, and some uterine cramps too, they settled down after ov, but they were around for good couple of days. I think it must be just everything getting back into shape/order after the m/c.

Hey Cherished, thanks for the info on ovulation pain. I've often wondered because I can sometimes get it for several days and other times just for a day or a few hours.

does anyone get nauseous with ovulation?? I nearly always do, sometimes really bad but never to the point of actually chucking up.

Have woken up with an ill 6yr old this morning. She seems ok now but woke me during the night with a fever and now is a bit congested. Guess that changes the weekends plans now! We were supposed to go visit a gf for lunch and playtime with her kids (I even made slices last night!) but don't want to infect hers as her kiddies are younger than mine and it's miserable having sick children, you feel so helpless.

Not sure if I have ovulated or not. EWCM seems to have disappeared overnight but even if I go by a textbook cycle I shouldn't ovulate til today sometime. Normally I don't ovulate until around CD17ish. I feel another month wait coming on. :( HA I don't want another month wait because that will mean that I will be due the same time next year as the exes new wife had her baby this year. I don't want to have a baby celebrating birthday the same time his does. Though at the same time, I also don't want to wait another 2 or 3 months to fall preg :( argh!!!!

Milly, this was my first o after the mc and yeah it was definatly very painful, and i thought it was my imagination, but it also thought i was having like contraction like cramps too. So i hope it has all worked it self out and i can get on with getting that egg. I barely have any cm, but im not sure if that has to do with age and the fact i have had so many kids, and im breaking out in pimples, i did that last cycle as well.
Smallfryplus, i do get a little ill feeling also when i am ovulating, i thought it was just me, lol. I hope your day gets better, and ur 6 yr old feels better also.
It will be good having a tww buddy, just have to pin point the excact day of o, but its either thur fri or sat, so im either 1 or 2 dpo, i think.
and this may sound a little tmi, but it was soo late at night last night, i really wasnt in the mood to dtd, so i said hubby could have a free one, and way we decided to do doggy so he would be closer to the cervix, and i felt really sore and tender in there, im hoping either that that it was just due to the mc, or my cervix was ready for the it, iykwim :redface:

Ferrals4- my donor daddy is a friend, he only lives 1/2 hour away so when I know I'm o'ing I just call him and tell him its time. He rocks up before work, does his thing, goes off to work and I inseminate myself. We usually do 2 -3 inseminations depending on my temps. He's really lovely though a bit clueless about all the fertility stuff, as you might expect for a gay man. I made him a really funny book called "A gay boy's guide to girly bits and making babies" so he knows a bit more than he did but I can?t give him too much info or he gets grossed out!

I've had no o pains or any more ewcm so no clues as to what my body's up to. It's been 4 weeks today since the m/c so maybe I just won't o, who knows:dunno:! Don't think I'll be doing the TTW with you Milly5.
