mummyof4 I am a serial POAS-er so I can relate to how you are feeling. Just think that the chances of you getting a BFP if your pregnant before 11-12DPO are unlikely so don't let a BFN get you down when you are 6DPO. Save you test till another few days in which time if your UTD a HPT is more then likely going to show a BFP then a BFN if you are pregnant. This will sound silly but can you get your oldest child to hide your test until a certain day. I find the urge to POAS is not that great if I don't have any tests but when I have tests I can help but pee on them. Problem is at the moment I have about 20tests so I am not going to run out before the end of the year.
Looppylouie sorry to hear AF came. Hope this new cycle brings you your BFP just intime for Christmas.
scarypinkfairy I find it hard seeing people who are pregnant when I was pregnant with them or who I was trying with. Half them have had babies now and the other half are pregnant. Its a horrible feeling.
Well the Gyno phoned and we had a good chat about my surgery yesterday. He asked me if I was interested in IVF if I don't get pregnant and I said definately. I was thinking he was going to advise me to start but then he said I should not rush into IVF. I asked him when should we consider it if another pregnancy doesn't occur he said not to leave it more then 1yr with no pregnancy before then. So we are staying with our plan of 6months before seeing anyone again and by the time the waiting lists come it will be 12months anyway.
But He sounded confident that it will happen if we are patient lol he said he was very surprised I haven't been pregnant more often since we started trying and looking inside the tube appears to be working well. He said the fimbrai (?spelling) looked healthy and the outside tube looked ok and the dye flowed through easily. He did say he didn't know what the inside was like (the hairs that carry the emby down the tube) he said if they are damaged then the risk of another EP is higher but he can't tell if they are or not so if the rest of the tube looks ok hopefully that means the hairy things are ok also.
So over all I am very happy with the prognosis and it was better then we were both expecting. Now we just hope to enjoy BD and wait patiently until we get another BFP. Try and enjoy it when it does happen and not worry ridiculously about a repeat EP.
So now I am hoping my vag heals quickly and we can BD around O time. Then there will be a chance of a BFP for my Christmas present. Its not likely but its lovely to have hope again that it could happen. So I am happy at the moment.
Hello to everyone else.

Loopy - Aw I'm so sorry to hear AF showed up. Your DH sounds really sweet and supportive though. Hopefully next month will bring better luck.
Crafty and Elise - You guys are so strong not to test. I really really want to see BFPs from you both!
mummyof4 - LOL I did the exact same thing one cycle and was in shock when it came up negative. 6DPO though is waaaay to early since implantation usually happens around 7DPO. Let me give you another reason to wait. This past cycle I tested at 10DPO and got a very BFN. Crushing! I tested again on 12DPO and got a line so faint it was barley visible and DH thought I was seeing things. It took until 17DPO to get a nice dark BFP. I know that wait is agony but hang in there.
Emmy - I hope you heal up quickly and get lots of BD in. That would make a fab X-mas gift.
SPF - I know it's really hard to be around people who are pG with the same due date that you should have been. i was in that same boat and kept trying to avoid them so I wouldn't get upset. In the end though I faced up to it and started hanging out with them and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. The more I saw them the less upset it made me. It might be too soon for you though so take your time and do what feels right for you.
Ferrals - Hope your BT goes well and you have lots of healthy eggs ready to go
Matthew's Mum - I'm sorry you are having to deal with hurtful comments. Unless you've been through it you don't understand how hard it is and those people have no right to make any comments. You will heal on your own time and they can't rush you.
Had a very emotional last couple of days. Last night out of the blue I started crying over my m/c. I just felt so sad that I would never get to meet that little baby and I just couldn't' stop crying. I guess I'm a little scared too as I'm approaching 5 weeks and I really want to keep going.
Had another tearful day today as I finally saw my doctor and he strongly urged me to get the H1N1 vaccination as the risk of me dying from H1N1 is far greater than the chances of me having another M/C. I went home and sobbed, not knowing what I should do. I did a LOT of reading and finally decided that if they had the unadjuvanted and Thimerasol free vaccine I would get both DS and I done. They did have it and I was so scared I was choking back tears and shaking while she gave it to me but she was very nice and understanding and talked over all my fears with me. Now I just have to wait and see what happens these next few weeks. Fingers crossed.

craftymummy - guess we were posting at the same time. I'm really sorry to hear that AF arrived. I really hope you get a BFP in time for Christmas as well.

Elise - Aw I'm so sorry to hear she turned up, I was so hoping it was your month.
Ferrals - Thanks. With my m/c pregnancy I had almost no symptoms and right now I'm feeling pretty rotten so I think it will be a sticky one too. I'm so excited you have so many good follicles. Good luck at your tests tomorrow. I'll be sending you good thoughts.
Mathew's mum - Thanks. :) Very good advice.

hi everyone
hello all ladies,
sorry, i was away and sorting out my head with mixed feeling. i promise i will be more regular to the forum.
i never missed checking the forum everyday, but never posted....i dont know...just my own sadness dominated enough that i didnt wanted to talk to anyone.
Twinsis - Congratulation for your preg, hope everything goes well for you.
Craftymummy - Sorry AF showed up, it really sucks.
Eliselouise - Sorry to hear about your SIL and the tough time, you all going
through...& also that AF showed up on you, I had high hopes for you that
you will come with BFP this month.
MurrayCod - Hows everything with you? Thinking about you as well
Loppylouise - thats not good, all the best for this month.
With my - my wait was really loooooong, AF decided to crack after 40 days...and to my thinking, my cycles have become irregular after the surgery. DH says its only 2 months (in aug i had D&C), so this is your 3rd cycle, you focus too much...and giving me pressure as well...just let it go. all my friends are pregnant, everyone is in 8 or 10th weeks, and asking me, when are you giving the news....which is the good question for me as well....
enjoy weekend everyone and i am starting fresh from now onwards
and good luck to everyone in 2ww and health and happiness those who are pregnant.
cheers all,
ric

Ferrals - It's great to read that you are finally get some good news. It's all looking very promising.
Eliselouise - So sorry to hear this is not your month. It must be hard to dust yourself off and start again each time. I'm hoping you won't have to wait too much longer.
Crafty and Loopie - Sorry to hear your AF made it's unwanted appearance. I hope next month is more promising.

Hi all
Sorry for my absence..I havent wanted to post since getting a nasty message on BB when I asked for some desperately needed help.
I dont know what CD i am, I will know when I post this I guess..Im not TTC for a while i think but I know ive said that before..
I think im meant to ovulate mon/tues but DH is away till wed but I dont really care at the moment..
I dont know if you remember or not but I went to see the natropath and she put me on these god awful tasting herbs. One of which was vitex and others to boost my liver and kick my digestive system up the bum...
well they're working for the digestive system I think! I have gone from 68-69kg on monday to 65.6kg as at this morning..
I have no podge on my belly and I have noticed uber changes in myself already so they're doing something for me! I just pray when I want it, it will have done its job for me..
Hope you're all well. Im especially keeping an eye on ferrals, good luck sweety.xxxxx

sorry to hear af turned up craftymummy, eliselouise and looppylouie.
coco1411 hope you are ok, and it wasn't on this thread that you got a nasty comment. i think we are all nice enough on here. sometimes people say things and it's hard to understand how they were intended but it must have upset you enough for you to not want to post.
sounds like the herbs are working, so are you just waiting till your next appointment with the specialist before ttc again?
ferrals4 hope you have had a nice and relaxing weekend, with no stress. let us know how you get on monday.
twin sis, i'm sure you will be ok after the vaccination. they would not advise you to have it if they didn't think you needed it or were at risk.
ric that was a long cycle, hopefully things will be more regular for you now.
i have decided to add a ticker as i think i ovulated yesterday and it fits with that heavier bleeding i had at the beginning of this month. at least i can use it as some sort of count down :) and i'm please to say the tablets worked, but i'm not sure whether to continue taking them or stop now.
-
Thanks spf wasnt on this thread no..but yeah It made me want to stop coming to BB... :(
I dont know what we're doing re ttc...I think i might ovulate on cd14 which as i found out is wed when dh is home..but having second thoughts at the moment..there is just so much going on.
Glad to see you have some countdown!! Good luck with everything hun
