hey all
Well i have "officially" miscarried now. I was bleeding soooo heavy and passing sooo TMI much tissue it wouldnt stop all day i was sent up to the ER and spent all sat night there in a bed ...fun, doing test after test, needles galore,being prodded and poked down there i was dizzy from losing so much blood. But they were excellent. Anyway they removed more tissue fom th ecervix and said they hope my cervix would start to close now and hope they got it all ( my ervix was open 2-3 sm ) no wonder i felt like i was in early labour yesterday. So now i am on two lots of anti biotics and on strict orders to come back up if hs or that happens etc.the doctor wants us to not TTC for a few months ideally six, to let my body heal etc but we will see how we go, i am going to see a natropath and possible look at ttc around July-Sept, no rush just take it as it comes. I pray the next time i have to go to hospital will be to deliver a healthy baby . i will go in a few weeks for furter testing etc into why i may have miscarried three times now. The doctor thinks it was just too son and my body went throught oo much... makes sense, i hope its only that.

I had a really bad night last night as yesterday was day 1 of AF and the 1st after i lost my girl and i have never had so much pain and i woke up soaked in blood(sorry) but it seems worse than when i had my boys it worrys me that somthing is'nt right they did'nt do an ultrasound after i lost abbi to see if anything was left and i was about to go to the doctors for a six week check when AF hit with a vengence

Im soooooo sorry to here you lost your baby it's terrible what women have to go through to have a healthy baby all i can say is maybe a rest like your doctor said might be good let your body heal for a bit i know how hard it will be to have to wait as i count the days until im fertile and i hate the 2 week wait but you seem to fall pegnant easy maybe your body is needing a break:hug::(

sparkles--I'm so sorry to hear that you had to spend the night in the ER being poked and prodded during an already stressful/painful time in your life. :hug: I :pray: that your body heals quickly, give yourself this time to grieve and heal emotionally as well as physically. I hope you get some answers with all your testing. We're still here for you until you're ready to officially begin your next TTC journey!
ferrals--That's the best thing about the girls here--they just get it. Where people IRL feel sympathetic, but tend to not know what to say or how to react, so they try to avoid the topic--sometimes even you! It's such a lonely time, the last thing you need is to feel like nobody else understands. :hug: Please feel free to ask any questions (same to you, sparkles), without feeling like you're a burden or that it's a stupid question... that another great thing, there's no stupid questions, and really nothing that's TOO :tmi: around here! I know my DF was relieved I found these girls--now he thinks I'm addicted! I'm sorry to hear of the heavy bleeding... if you're unsure, I say get checked yourself checked out--you know your body better than anyone else, and if anything would help to put your mind at ease.
Sparkles, sorry to hear you spent the night in emergency. how horrible. Are you taking some iron supplements? I would suggest if you aren't already, then it may be a good idea considering how much blood you are losing (Ferals, might be an idea for you too hun). Just remember to take the iron tablet along with vitamin C as the vitamin C will help your body absorb the iron. :hug: s to you both at this very hard time. take the time you need and we will be here when you are ready to ttc again.
Ferals (see above re iron). im not sure about the loss of blood after a late loss - but sorry you have had such a hard night. I hope the bleeding eases up for you.
Hi there to everyone else... don't have a lot of time today as Dh and I have to move some furniture around the house... and I am still to go through my clothes and pack them away *sigh*
I had a pretty significant temp drop this morning so I am sure af will be on her way soon. Jen - good to see your temp up nice and high still. I :pray: you get your bfp this month so you can join in with all the other lovelies who have gotten their bfp recently. Just promise to drop back and check on us in here too :D

boble--I have a feeling it won't be too long for me to be right there with you with that temp drop. Been having watery CM today, and what feels like O pains on my left... usually watery CM for me at this point in my cycle means RB is not far off. Have been feeling pretty :pms: as well. I guess we'll see how tomorrow's temp goes... :hug: Looks like we may continue to be cycle buds! ;)
Bobble i know you are right i should give my body a rest and this bleeding is'nt normal for me it's just hard it took 5 mths to fall pregnant with abbi and i said i wouldn't have children past 35 (well that's changed) i just want the excitment back that we had and everyone at my work were all excited for us and as i said before it was the first girl in my family in 17yrs so i sort of feel i let everyone down i know that sounds silly but i cant help it and i just want my life back the way it was and trying to fall pregnant again gets my mind off the last few weeks because every time i go to work i see the look on my friends faces especialy the pregnant ones and it is awful the next time i get pregnant i wont tell anyone( except everyone here) until after my 12 week scan as some people think im crazy taking the risk and other's say when are you going to try again :confused:

Mrz congrats that is fantastic news i wish you the best 9 months ahead WOW I hope it's in the water I am feeling positive and DH seems more ralaxed about baby making this month which seems to make everything more ralaxed if you know what I mean.
Jen- Thanks I read some reviews and ppl were really positive about pre seed I thought anything is worth a shot I say.

AFM - Had quite a bit of anxiety this weekend but I have calmed down a little now. Whilst I am so estatic and grateful I have my BFP I am so scared something will go wrong. I am trying to be positive as I know stressing is not good for the baby and I am so lucky to have been given another chance and have our much loved baby growing inside me.

AFM - my spotting has been getting heavier and heavier as they day has gone on... but still not RB just yet (since i get the spotting so much every month i count the start of RB as the first day of red instead of brown iykwim) tomorrow i will definitly have to wear a panty liner, just in case (sorry, bit of a tmi post from me eek! lol)

but i am happy to report that my bleeding has slowed WAY down and feeling ok trying to be as positive as possible about not ttc, i will wait at least two full monts/cycles, for those who have miscarried naturaly whenh did your cycle return? After my d and c i ovulated 3or 4 weeks after the procedure 3 weeks i think

My first time on any forum! Decided to go for baby #3 in Jan 09 and struck lucky first time. Spotting on 21 March 2009 and scan on 23 March 2009 (10 weeks) showed baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks. Natural m/c during the next few days. Got AF on 22 April so can now start ttc again! :dance:
Getting pregnant seems to be all I can think of at the moment so thought I'd join some like minded people who know exactly how I feel!

Boble - Thanks for the special hello :D his is my first post, still trying to navigate my way around BB - I'm sure i'll get the hang of it soon.
So far this site has been very inspirational and I've been reading through some old posts trying to gather as much info as i can re: m/c, all the ladies on this site seem so lovely and positive and I'm glad that I've finally found BB (thanks boble).
Not sure if this is the right place to post this or not, but just for a bit of back ground info on myself, i'm 24 hubby is 25 we've officially been ttc for about 6 months - in this time i have had 1 mc (we also had a surprise pregnancy about a year ago which sadly ended in mc)
I have been to the Sydney IVF centre and had some blood taken about 5 weeks ago (we get our results back tomorrow, so i'm a bit nervous, but i am hanging out to find out if there is a reason behind all of this)
I've also been going to acupuncture for 3 weeks - so hopefully this will be working for me soon aswell.
I just want to wish you all the best of luck with your TTC journey and i really hope that you all get your BFP's soon and that those bfp's result in your forever and ever sticky (like super glue) babies!!

All is good now, opk tests (yes 2!) both said a strong positive so it may be a pearl baby after all but if nothing else I know when to test etc and that I have ovulated!

to the newbies Sparkles, Sally, Ferrals and LuLu so sorry you had to join this forum, especially (was it Ferrals?) losing a baby at 19wks I really do feel for you and hope that this year brings lots of BFP's for you all. I too had 3 miscarriages one after the other because of a underactive Thyroid which Im taking medication for now, and I was so lucky to fall 3 times in 4 months that now that Im managing my Thyroid problem its now not that easy :(
Greenslw - did your friend have donor eggs or donor sperm? friend of mine early last year had donor eggs implanted and they both took, they used a donor from spain and she had twins early this year she also turned 40 a few weeks after their delivery! the miracles of modern science hey! my DH is just not into that nor into surrogacy, he asked me about that and said he would not be comfortable in doing that should we not be able to concieve naturally or via IVF. Lets hope the egg takes next month!

Mel - how you feeling? try not to worry too much, I know I know easier said then done, been there too many times myself, Im praying for you darls and know this is def a sticky one!
Jen - do you think you may have blocked tubes?? there is a investigative procedure that doctors can do to check the tubes, I think its a dye that they run through the tubes so they can see it via a screen?? my girlfriend had it done in January and all came out clear. Goodluck at your docs appt.
Shortcake - ARGH!! the WITCH Im waiting for her arrival over the next four days as I did a test and got another big FAT BFN! its just soo demoralising, you just keep questiong yourself and analysing your chart non stop, and asking yourself, should we have DTD more times than what we did??? maybe the Oraxcin is affecting my chances of falling pregnant??? etc etc anyway I'll stop ranting but what I thought would be easy for us is now becoming harder and harder maybe its just my age and my weight!
