Sweetie, I think all of my period came out at the DnC cos I had no bleeding after it! All I have now is just this twinge down below, could be anything I guess...but yes we have given it a good shot for getting another BFP hehe, 5 times now lol... I'm so lucky with my DF, he loves any chance to BD :) hehe
I so will be glad to get at the end of the 2WW which I think I may just be in!! :)
Joeve, thats strange about no horseriding! Wat a bugger for you horsey girls... oh and talking about horses, theres a chance we may be looking at a house with a decent horse paddock!! So happy, might be able to get my horse after all... :)
Big Good Mornings to everyone and hoping for some good news with BFP etc :) lots of :bluedust: and to you :stickyvibesgirl:
xoxoxox
-
Im lurking too...thinking of all you ladies..and lets hope we get some more BFPs.....good luck to all those in the ttw!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Just a quick question...Am I doing a bad thing TTC so soon after a DnC??? I just get told by a "so called" friend i could do more damage to my body if i fall preg to soon...She has scared me... We aren't like fully trying but I have already said I won't go back on the pill just to wait a few months... I can't wait that long... I miss being pregnant so much!!!
Thanks for any help!
-
MummyDeb~ I have been told that you are more fertile after a loss and most people I know who have had a loss start trying straight away. I have also read alot of success stories with TTC straight after a loss and women have gone on to have very healthy little bubs. I guess if it's really stressing you out you could ask your GP or FS hun. But honestly I would go with whatever you feel comfortable with. When the DR thought I would need a D&C they told me they would prefer I not try any TTC for at least 3 months only because they said it would give my body time to heal from the loss. But as it seems 8 months on I am still TTC so waiting never helped me 1 iota.
-
mummydeb...there is so much advise out there its kinda scary.. is you're "friend" experienced with this stuff? Theres loads of info for both for and against... my ob told me there was no reason i could not try straight away after my D&C and we did but it took me 4mths to fall...some say not to due to dating purposes for the dr, due to lining, and emotionally.....but i have heard quiet a few fall pregnant straight away with no issues....someone said...you wont fall pregnant if you're body is not ready.....so if it were me i wouldnt worry....
-
Oh thanks girls... My doctor was quite happy for us to try when we were ready, she never said there was any time to wait etc!! My friend has had m/c, but I think she actually has some serious problems with trying to stay pregnant...I know she was prob trying to be nice, but I just can't wait...we wanted our angel so bad, and we were trying for a reason, I don't want to wait much longer, i was hoping my children would all be fairly close in age!
-
Melster~ WooHoo for 7 weeks........and good luck with your scan this week....I have everything crossed for you, hope the bleeding has now gone for you and you don't see any more until after bub is born.....
MummyDeb~ I would just say your friend is doing her job as a good friend and trying to protect you from any more pain darl. Good Luck and if your DR said it's ok to go ahead and TTC and you are wanting to go for it darl.
-
MummyDeb - sorry don't remember any pain 2ish weeks after D&C (either time I had one). Both times the first day of bleeding (the day of the D&C) I counted as cycle day 1 & both times my proper AF came 28 days later. If it is enough that it is causing you stress go see your doc & check it out. Physically I beleive most people are ready to start ttc straight away after a m/c (D&C or natural). It is more the emotional they worry about.... Do what feels right to you & all the best!!
Possum Magic - glad to see you back in the thread. I hung out in the LTTTC once upon a time so know about these pg's that take forever to happen. Best of luck for this cycle :)
CM - I would think the doc might say no horse riding during the 2ww only in case you are pg & have a fall etc. Do you ride at all when pg? Again if you feel comfortable riding your horsey I would say keep doing it!
Melster & Stoked - HI! Thanks for stalking us all & for the bfp vibes....
Hi to everyone else - remember when I said I didn't post much? Look at me I am ON FIRE :)
BBL....
-
Hi girls!
Mummydeb - yay for a horse paddock!!
Clairesmummy - it just came up in conversation and she asked was I riding around the time of my m/c which I wasn't as my horse was lame and she said some women may find it best not to as it may impede implantation :dunno:
Well my jumbo pack of ov sticks just arrived in the mail, I am going to be good and start charting my temps tomorrow and doing pee sticks - last time I did we got a bfp so it can't hurt :)
-
Hey Deb, my FS said I should wait two periods, which worked out great for us. We bought a house here in Oz (we have a house back in Ireland), I got a promotion at work (though very stressful job....), so happy days everything working out for us, so far. Though back at the time of my Dnc, I asked my GP about when safe to try again and he said fine for two weeks after the op. So there you go, I don't think there is any right answer, just what is right for YOU. Personally for me, having my period made me feel somewhat "cleansed" of the experience and the emotional pain. Was crap I got my first period on our wedding anniversay, very romantic, NOT! :crying:
I hope everyone else is well and getting to TWW soon! I had first BT today, have been told to go back again tomorrow... Very scared as not feeling any ov signs, drats!
-
been a crazy few days
how is everyone, we are just waiting ........ to test :)
-
mum2romone - I am crossing everything for you! Can't wait to hear how you went this month I am feeling positive for you!!
-
MummyDeb- my OB said to wait until the first cycle was over, just for dating purposes. We chose to wait a bit longer after Baby Elvis, because we were not emotionally ready for quite a while. After losing the Little One, we waited till I was ready (2 cycles) and then went for it.
Possum Magic- Hi! Lovely to "meet" you, I do wish it could be under better circumstances. Best of luck!
CM- no horse riding? Maybe the Dr was worried about falling off? Odd. Any symptoms from the 2ww?
Joeve- AF is both boring and unpleasant, ime. Bleugh. Hope it's over soon.
I'm still waiting till Sunday. Nothing to report. No symptoms. No anything. MEGASIGH...
-
Hi girls, just a quick update from me & sorry no personals, where we r staying there is very little signal so I can't get online (aarrgghh), we r in town today so have signal, yay ! Anyway I just wanted to say i am happy I have a few girls in the 2ww with me ! I hope there r multiple bfp in here soon ! No symptoms for me but way too early for that yet. So hi to everyone, I'll b back when I can :-)
-
Mum2Ramone~ Hope AF stays away from you and you get your BFP hun, Good Luck and keep us posted...
Kirsten~ I don't think I can do the NO horse riding through the 2WW, both the horses I am currently riding I know there is no concern at all about coming off either of them. FX for your BFP darl, good luck.
Minnie~ Hope you are having a wonderful time away and FX some symptoms kick in for you soon and you get your BFP....
AFM~ Today is CD31 and so far no sign of AF arriving just yet but going by my last cycle I would be expecting her over the week end. Had a few AF like cramps last night but nothing to make me think she was on her way IYKWIM. So not much happening with me at the moment, rang my OB/GYN yesterday as I'm pretty sure my BT day next cycle will fall around Xmas so he told me if it does don't stress about it just take the Clomid and if I can't get my CD21 BT this coming cycle make sure I have it the following cycle. He went through DFs SA again with me he said everything looked ok with it apart from DF didn't get a full sample in the jar so the volume was only 1ml, morphology was border line he said and the sperm count was 98million. DFs now taking a multi vitamin due to him feeling a bit run down lately and it also is meant to help with healthy swimmers, so FX it does the job. Our DR doesn't want DF to do another SA as yet he just wants to make sure I am O'ing as he said DFs swimmers should be more than up to getting the job done on his behalf.
-
I have had some real bad pains today, its kinda like a really bad period...so don't know if AF is coming or not...I am CD22 and normally get pains a day or 2 before AF so its a bit strange!
I have a Tuppaware Party tomorrow, hoping it goes well
Sorry no personals...just about to go to bed...so exhausted...oh and we had a potential buyer look thru the house today, fingers crossed!!

Alish~ Hi hun and welcome to BB sorry it's not under happier circumstances though, sending you some massive hugs. I hope you find alot of support in here as I have and everybody in here is very supportive and understanding as we have all been through a loss so we understand how you feel hun. My DF and I had our MC in April of this year then in August we had a missed pregnancy, I have just recently been to see a OB/GYN and he has prescribed Clomid for me which I will start in my next cycle. We have been TTC now for 27months now with no luck but still hanging in there by a thread. We look forward to getting to know you hun, take care of you and feel free to be open about anything in here, and I hope we can help you through your TTC journey and hopefully get to see your BFP very soon with a HNH little bub at the end.
-
Alish- welcome and I hope your stay here is short and sweet. Sorry to hear about your babies and I hope you get a BFP:)
Mum2Romone- where are you sweetie???
Clairesmummy - hello lovely
Hello everyone else!
-
Hey Joeve how are you? Hope AF has now left for you and you are looking forward to O'ing and I'm praying for a sneaky Xmas BFP for you darl.......
AFM~ I'm still kicking along here, no signs of AF arriving just yet for me, today I am 7DPO, still have tender nipples but not as sore as they were around O time, no more cramping as yet. So all is pretty boring in my neck of the woods, doesn't look like I will be riding in this 2WW as it is raining here yet again.......and not meant to stop raining all month....AAARRRRGGGGHHHHH I'm gunna go stir crazy if that happens.......DD and I are off to the Zoo tomoro with DDs Kindy group, she is all excited about it I just hope the rain holds off for us or we won't get out the driveway in the morning to go anywhere...... :(
-
Oh yay about being in the TWW could be a surprise before clomid for you! No riding here either its absolutely underwater everywhere. Its humid so I am putting rugs on, then taking them off, then putting them on...slowing going insane!!! Question I am looking at a new horse float (angle load) had Otto Tuza and Ranch before that - what have you got? Any recommendations?
I really hope I do get a BFP sooooon, because I want to buy a new off the track hack and I keep putting off hoping to be pregnant. you can't school a greenie when you are pregnant - too risky......I have made another appointment with FS to discuss IVF as I think I am sick of waiting. Managed to jump into a cancellation spot next Thursday monring - just found out...so woo hooo!
-
Hi ladies
Im having a terrible week so I havent really thought much about the possibility of being pregnant.
On Monday hubby and I had a fight of sorts, more like no fighting or yelling or even talking, he just took off for a break to visit his mum after a Christmas Party from Hell..... .... it was a bad day but hes coming back.... just angry still.....
and im feeling like crap, because of my relationship, and i also feel physically off, and ill :(
Just a crappy time all round here... but hey it will get better :)
-
Joeve~ Nah don't think there will be any surprise BFP for me...just waiting for AF to arrive should have her by Monday at the latest. We have a 7 horse gooseneck now used to have an old Hino truck before we bought the gooseneck and before meeting DF I used my straight load double float it's a homemade one mine. Yeah I know what you mean about wanting to do things with horses but keep putting it off just in case, I have been doing that with my Arabian gelding whom I am nearly finished breaking in between all the wet weather we have had this year my MC and missed pregnancy and all the 2WW I still haven't got on him yet. I was looking at getting on him this week end while DF is off work but now it is bloody raining again here. I used to do alot of hacking before DD then moved into Dressage now since meeting DF I have now also taken up campdrafting as there's not alot of shows or Dressage out here, when there is a dressage day on I make sure I get to it though, mind you I'm having a blast with the Campdrafting as well and not doing to bad, just lucky I have a good horse to ride in them.
WooHoo for your next FS appointment next Thursday I hope you can get some answers soon and your BFP before you have to go through to many appointments and waiting games hun so you can get that special horse and start training. Good Luck.
-
Hi girls, just a quick one. Well FS confirmed I'm right to go for FET on Monday! Can't wait for it to be over and done with...
-
Mum2Romone - oh sweetie I am so sorry you are having a rough time. I know that sometimes I have feelings of being so disconnected to DH, I hope this is just a phase for you both and that you realign together soon xxx
Clairesmummy- oh wow thats huge a 7 horse ha ha gee DH would kill me if I tried to talk him into a truck or gooseneck for my ponies! I am being realistic with upgrading to an angleload from the float I sold last month - he is freaking about 15k for a new one!!!
Sweetoe - yay! Now what is FET? I am a bit confused about some of the AC terms......
-
BTW I went to the gyno for a papsmear today
and she informs me that i have no pelvic floor muscles and that my cervix is LOW and she thinks I may havean incompetent cervix, because of my miscarriage and pelvic floor... she asked if i had a big baby
He was under 3kg
Then my breast exam was just as bad
She said most people lose all their breast tissue after breastfeeding (NEWS TO ME ) I was a C before pregnancy, DD during, E for the first year and now I barely rate a B cup ................ and that i have a few lumps
Now I have to wait on a letter and a referal for the lumps
Crappy day , thanks Joeve, im sure things will get better , DH comes home tuesday morning
-
Alish - sorry to hear your story but welcome to our little thread. M/c & TTC after a m/c would be soooooo much worse without BB & people who get it. We get it. Hope your ttc from here is easy & happy.
M2R - sorry to hear about you & DH. TTC, m/c it is all a big fat stress on our relationships & I'm not suprised things turn ugly sometimes. Hoping you can sort things out & get back on the same page real soon! Sorry to hear about the news from your gyno too. Hope the lumps are nothing to worry about & that your cervix/ pelvic floor muscles can be fixed. Big hugs to you. I noticed I lost breast tissue from the top part of my boob after b/f but am much the same size otherwise - oh the joys huh?
CM - hope you are well & hoping af does NOT pay you a visit monday. How you feeling? Think you're expecting her huh? Good luck anyway...
Sweetie - yay for FET. I too would love to know what this involves if you have the time or energy to explain :)
MummyDeb - hi possum what is happening in your world?
Joeve - hi - has af left the building yet?
afm... think I am a couple of days past ovulation altho I didn't get a convincing opk but somtimes I think the surge is so fleeting we miss it. We gave it a good shot bd wise (days 10, 12,13 & 15) so what will be will be!
Hi to anyone I've missed - hope all are doing ok xxxx
-
Sweetie~ As Joeve has asked what is FET? Whatever it is I wish you all the best for Monday hun, good luck and let us know how you go.
Joeve~ I can't believe how much it costs to buy a horse float these days it's unbelievable, I bought my float about 10 or more years ago now it was classed as a homemade float so no fancy stuff on it just straight load double float and I paid $3000 for it, it's a great float to tow and we have done many many miles with the old girl now.
Mum2Romone~ Sounds like you are having a bit of a rough trot hun, hope things are getting better for you as I type. And those lumps are nothing to worry about, I have everything Xd for you hun.
Melster~ How did your scan go darl? FX for all great news for you.
AFM~ Today is 8DPO for me and I have 1 very sore and tender BB and the other nipple is also a little tender, keep getting sharp pains in my left BB and I think the wet weather is affecting my bladder as I am peeing alot today also. Feeling pretty good no sign of AF as yet, FX she may stay away how awesome would it be to able to tell our family at Xmas time I'm up the duff......here's hoping any way. Hope you all have a wonderful week end and stay safe.
-

Hello to everyone else

-
Melster~ Great news darl, Woo Hoo. Thank you for letting us know, let's hope the next 229days go by smoothly for you, Sending you massive amounts of Sticky vibes. And that poor girl that went in before you that would of been horrible for you to see that especially after going through a loss yourself and being so scared of having another one. But awesome awesome news for you must of been a wonderful feeling to see and hear that HB.
-
Hi Alish! Welcome to BB, I'm sorry it's not under better circumstances. This is an immensely supportive forum & thread to be in; when we say "I know what you feel", we mean it. I am very sorry for your losses.
Mum2Romone- very sorry to hear about the troubles with your DH. TTC can be so stressful at the best of times, adding in Christmas and the grief from your miscarriage, and it's just awful. And the doctor visit doesn't sound all that good! I do hope the lumps are nothing to worry about. (although- I was a D cup before breastfeeding, went up to an E for two years and am now at DD, so don't think I lost all my breast tissue!)
Sweetie- good news indeed! Sending you good thoughts for all to go well. (correct me if I'm wrong- FET= Frozen Embryo Transfer?)
ClairesMummy- did you get out the driveway? Hope all's well!
Mel- good news on the scan, yay!
I think I've missed a few; apologies. I'm thinking of you all.
My news- no point testing, AF arrived. 27 day cycle.
BUGGER BUGGER BUGGER :(
-
Melster~ I forgot to mention I have no plans at all to POAS any time soon, I'm thinking for sure if I plan to test AF will arrive the day after or the day before.
KirstenF~ I did get out our driveway......JUST and in a sideways type of motion doing 5klms an hour only no faster but could of been slower I was only just moving and my poor car was totally sideways in one spot and getting way to close to the fence posts down the driveway.......lol.....but I got us to town in 1 peice and DD and I had a ball at the Zoo today. It was awesome to see the look on her face with all the animals she seen all the kids loved it.
-
Hey everybody! Yep that's right, FET is the Frozen Embryo Transfer. I am booked in for 12.30pm on Monday. First time round with one of the frosties... Basically, had scan last week to check follicles, then blood tests to check LH surge, and then on Sunday/Monday the thawing process will begain, one by one. So if first doesn't survive the defrost the scientist will go the next. I'm only having the one embryo transfer. After the deed is done, I'm just gonna head home and relax!
-
Sweetie~ Thank you for letting us know what FET......I could get the embryo transfer but for the life of me I could not work out what the F was for........sad yes I know......lol......but thanks for filling me in on that one darl. I have my FX everything goes great for you on Monday darl. Best of luck darl and hoping to read your BFP in the coming weeks.
-
Thank you Clairesmummy! It just so stange as there are no drugs involved this time around. So kinda of natural?!?
-
I'm praying for you that all goes great and you get your BFP hun.
AFM~ Well I just wanted to get it out there and get it off my mind I'm trying not to get my hopes up at all as AF will probably arrive over the week end Monday at the latest. But my BBs are so sore and feel really heavy and full tonight alot like when I was BF and DD was due to have a feed, I keep getting like stabbing pains in the side of both of them now......what could this be about, they are usually tender before AF but not as sore as they are now.
Minnie~ How are you going hope AF is staying away from you?
-
Right back at ya! I'm praying AF stays away for you coz sounds like you some good signs there! Sending loadz of babydust your way!!
-
I think it may be our month
I dont feel like AF is coming
No PMS
or backaches yet
But my boobs are itchy (hope they bloody grow :) )
-
Loadz of babydust to you MumtoRomone!
-
mum2romone - get to POAS! I am busting to know :)
Hello everyone else no time for persies I am exhausted!
