Awwww - thanks girls. You have just made me cry (and I'm at work!!!!!) I so hope it continues. I hate the cramping most of all - a complete freak out (and it makes me check my undies more!!!!!) Your love and support has been what has got me through the past 11 months.
I have spent the past (and last) cycle on clomid with my new crystals under my pillow and ...... a pair of Kazz booties there too. Not to mention my little bedside buddha. So I guess I am another Kazz success story :D
Congratulations Michelle!! I hope things keep going well!!
Well, I had my last period Aug 30 and have yet to have another. Every test, even today, is negative. I was supposed to ovulate around the 16th but since I haven't had a complete cycle since Dawson, I have no idea where I'm at. I've talked with the doctor and she says that I probable didn't and if it doesn't show in 2 weeks, to come in and get a shot. I am going to start charting and see where my cycle takes me in the next 2 weeks and take OPK's to see what happens. I have always been regular but given the circumstances, I am aware of what can happen with your body.
I hope everyone is doing well and that I can catch up with where everyone is in their ttc journey.
Oh, my sister just got engaged tonight so we have something wonderful to look forward. She knows we are ttc and hopes I am big and pregnant at her wedding(So do I)
Hi ya Ladies,
Michelle, that is great news, we all knew you were pg. Yay! another one in this thread. We will have to change the name soon, cos we'll al be pg in here.
Sez, can't wait for your scan, I think I am more excited about yours than mine.
Missy, great news about your sis. I think charting will be a good thing, I really should have done the same thing. Don't stress about your cycle being long, my last one was 54 days & then I fell pg. Could be a good thing IYKWIM?
I have been PMSL at the knicker checking comments, yep I certainly am a serial offender at that...... I think sometimes I just go to the loo cos I had a pain to see if anything is there. The other thing I so (sorry if TMI) is check the bowl after a wizz (for tissue) WACKO, yeah I know! Well still not feeling pg. although my BB are sore on top, but not sure if that's cos I keep checking to see if they are sore!
Spoke to MIL last night, she had a hysterectomy last week, she asked if there were any kids on the horizon, I had to lie & say no. Felt bad but I haven't told my sis yet cos she's o/s atm or my Dad & his partner.
Hope you all have a good weekend. BBL
OMG....OMG....OMG....
I go away for a week and look what happens....
Naomi, Jules, Paige and Michelle....HUGE HUGE HUGE Congratulations to you all. I have been thinking about everyone so much the last week and it has been the best thing to jump back on my trusty little computer and find four BFP's. That's awsome. Best of luck to all of you...
Megan - So sorry to here of your early m/c and of your Nana dying. You'll get your bubba soon, and i'm sure your Nana is picking out a beautiful bubba just for you. Big hugs sweety...
Hi to everyone else....i've just read 7 pages of posts in this thread alone, so i'll just do one BIG hello to everyone....
As for us, well we still don't have a house yet. We've applied for one and are just waiting to here back from the agent. I rang her yesterday and she said it is in the hands of the owner because they got another application after we put in ours, so the owner is making the decision as to who he wants in his house.....I tell you what. I'll be peeved if we don't get it, coz then we'll be back to square one again.....
So there you go. That's all my news for now, and i'll try and jump on again tomorrow and keep up with everything....love you all..xxx
Awwww Michelle, I'm sooooooo pleased. I just logged on to wish you another congratulations! LOL. Yep, welcome to the world of toilet paper checking! You will never buy another roll of toilet paper that's not white! LOL.
I'm sooooooooooo excited for you & was stoked to see your ticker! Have you got an OB appt lined up because don't you have to give yourself some injections or something? What are they for & what do they do? Sorry, I have 6 billion questions. Have you told any family? Oooh, I think you've got a boy!
Love Jayne xox
Jayney - you are such a funny girl :D I'll get a blood test next week as a positive confirmation that we are pregnant then make the appointment with the specialist for the next steps. I think the process was going to be viability u/s around 6 weeks and then the medications. Last thing they want is non-viable pregnancy when you are on blood thinning medications  I have Factor V Leiden (same as Sarah) and will be on aspirin and clexane to thin the blood, prevent clots from forming and assist in the second phase implantation that occurs around 22 weeks (same as Sarah!!) We haven't told the families yet (and DH is currently staying with his parents while he works away and MIL has already asked - bless her!!) but we will tell them after we get the 2 HCG's that show a nice doubling.
P.S. I'd be VERY happy with the boy too!!!!
P.P.S What other toilet paper colour is there ;)
Oh, ok, it's a very technical process. I didn't know there was another implantation phase??? Hmmm, you learn something new every single day.
So DH is staying with his parents & managed not to spill the beans, good man he is. I bet you're just pinching yourself every second of the day!!!
I'm so so so so so happy for you, I think you get that already!
Do you have to wait until the middle of next week to start the hcg bt'ing? It's far too long to keep me waiting! I think you should get one on Monday morning. You're in a hospital, hell, go & get one NOW!
Have a wonderful day & I'll be back to check on you later!
Jayne xox
Not that technical - just a few extra steps and a few thousand u/s by the end of the pregnancy!!! We only found out about the second implantation phase after Caitlyn's birth.
****TMI WARNING*** following information may be distressing for some.
The OB told us that a IUGR that occurs around that stage is often related to the placenta not implanting fully (or being clotted off in some cases) around the 22 week mark. It is after this the baby has a significant growth phase (they are fully formed - just itty bitty things) and if they do not get sufficient nutrition then they are often stillborn like Caitlyn. She was perfect - blonde hair, blue eyes, fingers like my sisters, toes like DH but little for her gestational age. As they can find no other cause they think this may be the reason for her loss. The aspirin can help with the implantation part and the clotting and the clexane can help prevent clotting too.
As for the blood test - you are more impatient than me :D. Yes, I am in a hospital BUT the results taken in ED come back through ED for reporting and checking. Also, it would mean getting one of my work friends / colleagues to TAKE the blood (I am not talented enough to take my own!!) so they would ask questions as they know we lost Caitlyn and they know we are trying again. DH doesn't get back until Tuesday night / Wednesday morning and I would like him to be around (in case of worse case scenarios). So maybe Tuesday morning but probably Wednesday morning .... if I can wait that long
Your excitement is infectious (I can't get the smile off my face now - they are going to think I'm up to something!!) and your happiness a blessing to have. Thank you
As for DH - he is the worst person for gossip usually but he is restraining himself quite well ..... so far!!!
ETA - Ooooooh look at Miss Jessica!!!! I just noticed you updated your ticker for her (and the photo) Very cute!!!
Hi Girls,
Just a quicky as I am knackered after Scanlon's swimming class this arvo (I think I get a better work out than him.
A big congratulations to Michelle. It looks like our due dates are only one day apart!
Missy - Didn't some one in Iowa just win 200 million US dollars (270 million AU Dollars). Can't even imagine.
Thanks to every one for their congratulations. I Saw the Dr and had a Blood test. All is fine.
I am having tests on Mondays and Thursdays for the next 3 weeks to monitor HCG, and I told the Dr she has to tell me THE NUMBERS!!! Has to be Mondays and Thursdays so that I don't have to wait over a weekend. I am seeing the ob on 1/11 and will have an US that week.
Sorry for the lack of personals.
I hope you are all well.
Paige
Well Paige - looks like we'll be cooking at the same time. Congratulations and well done!!
Now Paige and Michelle your seats are getting cold in here and some lovely nice warm ones are waiting for you both in PAML.
Looking forward to chatting to you both in there so please don't be long and come and claim your seats :)
I'll start posting there after my positive blood tests next week. Excited but still hesitant - you know how it is!! But keep them warm. I can't wait to catch up with all my old buddies who have already joined the ark. How many Michelle's do you think they can cope with ;)
So ..... who's from in here is coming along for the ride!!
Hiya lovely ladies time to lock this thread, new one is over here
