Yep we did ... first time ever for both of us. It was awkward but pretty special at the same time :)
It's actually funny that you posted this because DH and I were talking last night about how we felt driving away from our wedding reception ... it was a pretty weird experience.
Nup. AF turned up that morning, the cow. I had the sexy lingerie and everything. Still a bit bummed about that...
Anyhoo, we made up for it on honeymoon and even got pregnant. Tested positive in Vegas :) that didnt end well but the marriage is going strong.
We did! We were exhausted from the day but made that last extra effort and it was sooo worth it! Very special and beautiful :) Finally fell asleep at 3am and had to get up at 4:30am for our 6am flight to Fiji for our honeymoon, which was also my Birthday so we partied on! We were so wrecked after the huge events over the few days (Also had our hens and bucks nights the night before the wedding in Penthouses at the resort) but then we got to totally bliss out in Fiji so it all worked out well.. Aaaah I love reliving my wedding, can you tell?! Ha!

After reception went to gorgeous tree top cottage that DH had booked! Long hot spa with drinks then to bed.
Yep. We were teased at our reception, because I made us leave at 8.30pm - not out of eagerness, it was out of galactic panic at being the centre of attention! So we tried to sneak out, but my Mum saw us and yelled at everyone to say goodbye, so we got quite a few comments and sneaky winks ;) Then on the way to our hotel room, I realised what was coming and almost jumped out of the car...I was so terrified! But we got there, and got in the spa for a little bit, and then went to bed. Professor had an almighty cold though, so it was kind of an obligatory affair only :rofl:
Yeah we did but only after I asked DH 'if we had too....' We had a few hicups at our wedding and by the time we left the reception I was in a bit of a downer.
Im glad we did do it but it wasnt mind blowing. It was so nice to hop in the limo the next morning and go to the airport and get on the plane to Thailand....bliss!!!!
Yup we did. Only just though. I was exhausted. It was really late. We'd been together for over 9 years, it wasn't anything new but DH is a traditional play by the rules guy. Lol. It certainly wasn't the highlight of the night lol. But the honeymoon made up for it he he!
Quite a few of my friends didn't do it on the night, it's such a biiiig day. I just wanted a spa, a massage, and sleep.

Lol NO DH was so so so drunk he was in the toilet all night courtesy of my 2 brothers who kept getting him drinks. He still hasn't lived it down and never will
Dh wanted to, I was to tired, I said ok but expect me to starfish it and you do the work. Although once we got started it wasn't to bad:)
We did....but, it wasn't the "best". I think I was too tired, too emotional and quite possibly too drunk to truly enjoy it!
We're making up for it in spades now though ........hehehehehe!! (wicked laughter!)

Nope, we got to our hotel in the city at about 2am exhausted, and we had a 6am flight! We didn't really care, we had already been together 8 years when we got married so we were used to it:redface:
And after all that out flight was CANCELLED due to hurricanes!
I was 10wks preg at my wedding and right in the middle of horrific MS. Managed to get through the ceremony and photos but by the time I was at the reception I was vomiting every 30mins. I remember doing our bridal waltz with tears pouring down my face cause I just wanted it to finish so I could go vomit...I was so scared I was going to vomit in front of everyone (no one knew we were preg at that stage).
I wrapped up the reception an hour early and we went to our hotel where I spent the next hour in the shower vomiting. We finally got in the spa but I still felt sick so told DH he had to get out.....Eventually we went to bed and my lingerie I brought from France was left unworn (I still haven't worn it - 4yrs on).
Not even sure when we finally did do it....sometime in the next three days for sure but being sooooo sick was not fun.
Yip a couple of times! DH gets a bit of the energizer bunny thing going on when he has a few drinks under his belt. He can keep going and going and going ......... :lol::lol:
But he reckoned he was going to make the most of it because now I had the ring on my finger the sex was definately going to drop off :o So romantic isnt he?? but right too :lol:
Yup, like some others have mentioned, I bought the sexy underwear, and have never looked as good as I did. It wasn't like there was fire works or anything though, it was just a nice way to cap off our perfect day. And after that, we were both out like lights!
No We'd been together 6and a half years, I had DS who was 14 months and was pg with DD.... WAY too tired to contemplate it and DH wasn't bothered by it either. We were so stuffed we didn't even use the spa in our room!!
Our honeymoon was great until I had early pregnancy issues... lol
Nope! I was like 37 weeks pregnant, wayyyy too tired when we got home. We'd had a gorgeous dinner out, got home late and crashed!
Yep, we did, a few times through out the day! I had brought some lovely lingere and hadn't seen DH for about a week before hand.
No i was 35wks pregnant & sex was the last thing on my mind.
We did, I was so bloody tired though I didn't really want to but supposed I should or I wouldn't live it down LOL
No ! Waaaay too tired !
DH was keen but instead we sat and had a cup of tea while he spent about half an hour pulling all the hair slides out of my hair...just like an old married couple ;)
No regrets !
Yep, although I'm amazed we did. We stayed together at the resort where we got married the night before our wedding and DH got up at 6am to play golf so I got up early to make sure his day got off to a good start ;) We then both had a huge day and didn't get back to our room after the reception until after midnight but both of us were on such a high from the day that one thing led to another, and another . . .
We did :) and I was 6 months pg as well. Sil who got married 2 days later didn't. She hadn't do e it before and felt uncomfortable as all the family were staying at the same motel. We made up for it though lol. I was a horny rabbit whe. Pg with ds1 hahaha
We did. But I don't think either of us really wanted to lol. We just figured I had the sexy underwear, it's our wedding night, so we 'should' do it. It was pretty forgetable and we fell asleep so fast after!
We more than made up for the lameness of it on our honeymoon :D
We did. We went back to our gorgeous hotel room and chilled in the spa for a bit first, then conceived our first baby (our angel).
I honestly can't remember if we did or not.. I know we did before we got up the next morning though..
I had issues with breakthrough bleeding so had my period and then being virgins it took us a few attempts to figure things out :redface::

Yes we did! Did the whole sexy lingerie thing and had a really fun, romantic & relaxed night together. we got married in a beautiful garden in an intimate ceremony and had a candlelit dinner in our gorgeous lakeside lodge where we stayed the night so it was all very intimate and set the perfect scene for love-making which occurred numerous times and I must say was very special ;) hehe.
We had been together for 3.5 years and living together for almost 2 years at that stage.

nope AF came on my WEDDING day!! I was super unhappy! I thought I was being clever and calculating AF would arrive so i tried to 'skip' by missing the sugar pills, but just ended up with a light AF for about 2 weeks. not cool :(
nope. neither of us had gotten much sleep the night before. i had stayed at a friends house the night before and he has his brother and 2 friends over for drinks, needless to say i kept getting drunken phone calls until 1am! i was up at 5am (we had a huge thunderstorm the day we got married) and it was full on from there.
we eventually got to bed at 1am, turned to each other and said "u wanna do it" which was followed by no! crashed immediately after that! didnt do it until 3 days later! :lol:
No, I had an almighty argument with my dh and ended up sleeping in my MIL amd FIL's hotel room :D
The marriage almost ended before it had begun, it was saved by the fact we found out I was preg with twins, two days later :p
We did. My first time ever. I was so exhausted after a very long day with friends who just refused to let us go on our way; but I felt we should for the sake of it being our wedding night.
Didn't enjoy that first night though; but things really took off the next day!

Not us. DH got back to hotel @ 5:00am after hardcore Vegas bucks night and we got married that evening, both tired. We had the best sleep ever and then walked hand in hand to the Bellagio breakfast buffet.
Made up for it in Hawaii though :)
my dh said leading up to it that we wouldn't do it because we would be too tired... i was like hell no!!!!

Morning wedding, reception lunch... where it was eventually suggested that we get going as we were driving two hours away for our honeymoon straight away that night.
We arrived at the motel and slept for a few hours and then somehow simultaneously woke up and made the most of finally being alone. I'm not sure if that counts as a yes or a no? It was definitely after midnight, but certainly before daylight!
