At present i'm in a relationship with DP now for 7years this May ... not engaged as i'm over the engagement thing ... Though he would like to marry me BUT i just hope i don't get as they say the " 7year itch ", LOL :ROFL:

We got engaged 3 months into our relationship when Iwas 19. We got married 11 months later just before my 20th birthday

well, thought i'd add my 2 cents :) We got engaged when I was 19 just before my 20th birthday, after being together for 3 years and I'm now in the middle of organising our wedding for Oct this year, I'll be 21. And I can't wait ^^;

Wow, I feel like a super-late starter!
Engaged at 29, Married at 30, Pregnant at 30 (in that order!) and we have our first year wedding anniversary next month (we are still newlyweds, but both have grey hair and wrinkles haha!!)

First time - Never got engaged, (he never asked :rolleyes:) but had Luke when I was 21... he wanted more babies but I said not until we were married - we got married when I was 22... we'd been together for almost 6 yrs...
I left him less than a year after we were married :doh: Took me almost 7yrs to realise he was very wrong for me... :p
Second time - Never got engaged, (he never asked either!!!) - well, I guess he did in a round about kind of way - after doing 4 x IVF stim cycles, spending a hell of a lot of $$ on them, he said one day 'How about we spend the $$ saved for IVF #5 on a wedding first?)... so I guess that was a proposal, very romantic :lol:
Married last year, I was 30 - 3 months before my 31st birthday :D

engaged just after my 25th birthday (so i could introduce him to my nan as my fiance rather than my boyfriend next day) and married only 8 months later (a year after we met)

Officially engaged at 26, married 2 months later, still 26.
We had been speaking about secretly marrying for about a year before we made it offical and did it properly :D.
