I wasnt going to wear a veil as we had a casual type ceremony. However I tried one on with my dress & it looked fantastic. So I agree, the dress will dictate whether you will wear one or not. I also wanted to give my DD the option of one day wearing my veil for her own wedding, what an honour. Otherwise a really nice head piece will do the trick.
