At the Cranbourne Uniting church then reception at Meleluca Lodge in Officer
November 16th... tried to avoid too hot weather.... nice spring day it turned out to be too.
we got married on the 18th oct 2003. it was at the same church that my grandparents and my parents got married in so that made it really special. we then had the reception back at my parents farm where i grew up. not very formal but so lovely.
15th August at Caversham House in Perth's Swan Valley.
Another Port Macquarie wedding here (hi Lisa!) We got married on the 4th April 2004 (04/04/04) in a little schoolhouse from the late 1800s, and had a brief reception on the grounds, before having our evening reception in the restaurant at Sails Resort.
I had an awesome wedding day, it was perfect. If I could find someone to pay for it, I'd gladly do it again. ;)
Nic: It is on bolsover Street.. On the street that you go on to get to the new bridge?
(why we still call it the new bridge is beyond me LOL. Its super old now )
It is right next to the Traffic lights there??
My Grandparents and Aunt and Uncle got married there as well
18th September 2009 - must be something with the number 18 - DH's B'day is the 18th, our anniversary was the 18th April and we got married on the 18th September...
Got Married at 4pm at the Stamford Grand North Ryde in Sydney on the terrace

28th December 2007 - I thought it was an unusual date to pick but have met three others with same anniversary date! It was on a beach in NSW. I did cartwheels in my dress and splashed about in the water. It was an awesome day.
Married 28/2/04.
This date has great signifance, was the date my Maternal Grandparents were married. Unfortunately my Grandma died aged 48 on that day. So given that the date just happened to fall on a Saturday in the year and month we were looking at getting married I thought is was a sign and I would make it a happy date again. Both my Grandparents were deceased when I married.
Also my Pa and I were born on the same day so I thought I would share something else with him. I loved him greatly, he was like a father to me.
2nd September 2006. We got married in at King Edward Park in Newcastle under the rotunda. It was a beautiful day which i was glad because it rained the day before and the day after. We saw 3 other weddings on the same day around Newcastle too. It must have been a popular day.
20/01/2001 (repetitive date of 2001 2001) - we celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary last Wednesday.
We got married at 2pm in the church I attended my whole life, we had 450 guests (insane!) so we had an afternoon tea at the church and then a small reception for close friends and family only (still 120 people).
We were talking about it last week (because it was our wedding anniversary) and I don't remember a lot of the details of our wedding. I remember it was a great day and we had a lot of fun but memories are starting to get a bit hazy. Over the years my wedding has seemed less and less important to me as I have built a life with my incredible DH and now we have 3 beautiful children. I am so happy :) and I love DH more and more everyday (probably helps that he treats me like a queen) - I think that's what is important to me now.
Good luck with your upcoming wedding day! I hope it is a very special and beautiful day :)
We got married on the 14/11/09 so just over 2 months ago! We got married at the Botanical gardens in Geelong followed by a reception at the race club overlooking the race track it was beautiful (as everyone thinks of there own wedding!) :D
12/09/09 - our ceremony and reception was at redland bay golf club. we also had a black and white (and silver) theme. was lovely :)
We got married on the 7th September 2007 at the Registry office in the Perth CBD! It was still awesome! DS was born on the 12th October!
We had a party the next day at our place which everyone thought was our 'engagement' party....which turned out to be our wedding celebration party :)
we got married 25th September 2005 - on the sunday of Grandfinal long weekend- Our ceremony was in a park across the road from the Burswood Casino and we had our reception at the Burswood on Swan reception centre. The reason for our date was because i am a school teacher it had to be in the holidays, and I wanted the whole 2 weeks after to relax.
DD was born exactly 9 months later- she is very much a honeymoon baby!
we got married on the 13/12/07, at a registry office here on the coast, out to dinner and a couple of drinks after with some family, it was really lovely.
we were engaged on the 15/12/06 and tried to book the same date but that turned out to be the weekend so we couldnt do it which was a shame.
27/09/08 - AFL grandfinal day! haha.
Our ceremony started at 5pm and we had a surprise wedding at our engagement party. LOVED it.
We chose the date because that was when the rowing club was free (we wanted october but they were fully booked), and found out later on that 27/09 was the date my parents started dating and completely forgot that it was my late grandmothers birthday aswell. Ended up being a very special date and day.
We got married on 10/11/07
We were supposed to get married in a park over looking the beach, but we had so much rain the night before the park was ankle deep in water at lunch time!! Two of the nearby caravan parks were flooded in until about an hour before the ceremony!
Luckily the pub where we were having the reception were really relaxed and let us get married in the restaraunt there... it was all very relaxed - exactly the way I wanted it. We had finger food and just had picnic tables - no place settings, no forced converstaions.
We partied until about midnight and then 20 of us went back and stayed at my parents house... it was just like a massive party. It was an awesome day!!
15 August 2008. It was a Friday - we eloped, so the day of the week didn't really concern us, but we were later told that Friday is a good luck day to get married - some old wives tale or something.
We chose that day because it was a full moon the next day (Saturday) but we knew we wouldn't be the only ones getting married on the beach on the Saturday, and Friday seemed as good a day as any - the moon was pretty full on the Friday anyway. It worked out well because booking the photographer and celebrant was much easier for a Friday, and we weren't competing with anyone else.
I'm reigniting this thread!
I got married on the 25/01/09 at a reception hall in Northern Melbourne!
Best day.... :)

MY 1st wedding was 14th April 1990 which is the anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic! (in hindsight that should have been a sign LOL)
2nd was 15th August 1999 in Darwin, a beautiful outdoor ceremony on the Esplanade then dinner at the Novotel (very small and lovely only 20 people)
We're getting married in four weeks :D 18/03/10
We got married 9/9/09 I always said if we were going to do it this would be the date!! So we did family only and we never told anyone as we wanted something intimate and stress free it was the best day and we had photos by the brissy river with the city behind us :)
