We had a two songs. lol. We signed the registar to you and me by lifehouse. We walked back down the isle to beautiful day by U2

Oh, we signed the marriage certificate to "Forever" by Ben Harper... I love that song ;)

cool songs amy, i can not remeber the song at my wedding , shame on me , but we tried to dance to u got it bad by usher but the cd player that the fijian dj had couldnt read the cd we had ... so it was some "fill in " song id never heard .. but all my aunties and uncles had :lol:

lol mine was accidently in love form the sherk soundtrack lol its represnts our realtionship well.

Our bridal waltz was Truly Madly Deeply-Savage Garden(fits both our hobbies and i love darren hayes

then at reception we danced to a song that our best man had written for us(my hubbys in a band and is a muso)and then hubby sang to me the old Bon Jovi-Born to be my baby,it was our 1st song..lol...im such a sentimentalist

DH proposed to Ben Harper, didn't plan it, but the place where we were having drinks at sunset was playing it in the background, so that's what I think of!
The most hilarious song though was "You've lost that lovin feeling" sung by DH and 15 of his mates when I came out of the toilet int he middle of the reception. I was squealing with laughter!
Second funniest moment of the wedding was when I got super excited by a song and two of my friends and I did cartwheels along the lawn to it. Can't remember the song - someone has video footage but we can't find it!

Ours were:

Pre ceremony: "This Corner of the Earth" by Jamiroquai
Me walking up the aisle: "Lovely Day" by Bill Withers. It was a remixed jazz version
Us entering the reception dinner: "Crazy Little Thing Called Love" by Queen
Waltz: "Someone Like You" which is a Van Morrison Track, but we had the Dina Carroll cover (from the Bridget Jones movie soundtrack.)

Our wedding song was 'Ever the Same' by Rob Thomas.

At our engagement party we actually performed a choreographed rhumba to 'At the Beginning' by Belinda Carlisle and Richard Marx, from the Anastasia soundtrack. A friend of ours is a professional dance teacher, and we spent 6 weeks learning this gorgeous dance, and then performed it for 250 at our engagement. We got so many comments about how romantic it was - I was so scared people would laugh at us!

I walked down the isle to "Heaven" by DJ Sammy, and we signed the registery to "Beautiful Day" by U2. Our bridal song and leaving song was "I've had the time of my life" from Dirty Dancing - had to play it twice because my sisters and I love it so much

Ash, I'm A Bryan Adams fan too, and my bridal song was "Heaven".

We had the lyrics printed out and placed at the place settings at each table. It was really nice, and everyone could see what the words were and what they meant to us.... (at the time, this was with ExDh!)

We had the grooms men escort the bridesmaides down the isle to "lean on me", the reggae version!! In a Catholic church! It was awesome... :dance:

Ours was rebel heart by the Corrs

Ours was Umbrella but sung by Mandy Moore instead of Rhianna. A much slower version where the romance of the words actually comes out.:)

Ours was called "Dance with me" and you can only buy it online from a compnay that do wedding songs called T Carter Music

The lyrics were out of this world!!

Walked down the isle to a harp playing Canon by Pacabel (with the sound of water from the fountain we got married in front of)

I loooove Regina Spektor's version of Real Love...if DH and I could get married again, that would be the song. I am thinking of doing up a slide show of our wedding pics with the song as the backing music....if I ever get around to it!

I don't remember all the songs we chose but 'walked' down the aisle to 'Rebel Heart' by the Corrs behind a group of our irish dancers from the school I went to. That memory will always stay with me. :) I remember the first time I heard that song in 2002 and I just adored it, even though there were no words. I still listen to it from time to time.

Our bridal waltz was 'Flying without Wings' by Westlife. 'For me it's waking up beside you...to watch the sunrise on your face. To know that I can say I love you...in any given time or place'. :)

"When I see you smile" by Uncle Sam, because my DH always said he fell in love with my laugh (after marriage that probably becomes an annoyance LOL)

Our first dance was to Josh Groban 'You Raise Me Up' and we also cut our cake to another Josh Groban song called 'When You Say You Love Me' which is such a beautiful song it gives me goose bumps every time I hear it!!!

Also danced to loads of Michael Buble one of my fav's is 'For Once In My Life' (I am a massive Buble fan) and our last song of the night was 'Time of Your Life' by Green Day as both DH and I loooove them.

We didn't do a first dance! I think we forgot. Nor did we do the taking off of the garter, I did however throw the bouquet and someone filled our bed with confetti :confetti:

Bon Jovi's "Born to be my baby", but the slow version of This Left Feels Right was our first dance then everyone joined in to "I was made for lovin you" by Kiss!! That really got everyone groovin!!!
