Hi all,

I have been trying to decide for ages whether i was going to go back to my job as a leading worker at the local council. It would mean my children would all have to go in childcare/out of school care. After my yr maternity leave was up I still hadn't decided what to do so i extended my leave.
Once again i did the sums in my head and financially i just couldn't justify it.
So i have resigned. I have worked at the council for 15 years it has been my one and only full time job. I started as an apprentice and have my trade in horticulture.
Well i have thrown it all out the window and have started working as a swimming instructor. I teach the water babies classes on a Saturday morning. I only work 2 to 3 hours a week at the moment but i Love it. I have the some more training to do and then i can teach all levels, and part of the bonus is I get 20% off my kids swimming lessons too.
