I think you might be right. I think I do need to be in contact with someone that is more reliable. I went to a friends party (UCW) over the weekend, and the demonstrator was actually the regional manager here, and here enthusiasm and ease in doing what she does was fabulous, and she was really comfortable in her role (she was booked out with parties until the end of JULY!!), so I guess that you would get that kind of confidence over time (sounds like you have the knack Lulu:dance: What pp do you do if you don't mind me asking?). She was really good at just asking straight out "So are you interested in having a party???".
I am still in two minds about whether to give it a go or not. I have decided that I am going to see how my TW Party goes this week. I am still so suprised at how many people actually want to come!! (Total opposite of when I did MK).
The only set back is that ALL my family and friends will be there, so I can't really turn around and have an announcement party so quickly after...
Scone- Don't let it get to you sweet. Your manager doesn't sound very encouraging at all. Don't beat your self up about it.

SB the good thing about having friends and family there is you should be able to get 2 bookings at least for their own party, since they won't hang with the same crew iykwim?

Never be afraid to ask for a party, they generally know you are going to. It's all in the delivery. I asked every, single person at every single party. During my demo I would tell them I am going to ask them, "but it's ok if you say no - I promise I won't cry!" Some people ask in a really scary way......but if you have a fun party with lotsa laughs, you generally get 2 bookings at least.
