Red face Limerick... Please help me ladies

Oh dear.. I am hoping there is some lovely creative BB ladies who can give me a hand with this.. I have the Christmas party for my new work on Friday night and my boss thought it would be 'fun' if we all wrote a limerick about each other to be read out on the night . Firstly, I don't even really know what a limerick is. Secondly, the name I drew out of the hat is a junior staff member that I have never worked with.. a 16 year old girl named Claire. I can't even swap because its too late (I only work one day a week so didn't get my name until yesterday). The only thing I know about her is that she is boy crazy and always having boy dramas (which 16 year old doesn't!). Is there anyone that can help me - I am really stressing about it. Aren't Christmas parties meant to be fun???!!

ok... i THINK a limerick is a 5 liner short poem.....

    something like

    Dear young Claire
    ever so fair
    always on about the boys
but they just want to play with their car toys
oh claire get them out of your hair!

ok that was REALLY REALLY lame but took 5 seconds..... anything else you hav to work with?

Oh Kitt3n - you are brilliant! I really don't have much at all. The longest conversation I have ever had with her is "Hi I'm Emma" . The only thing I really know about her is she is constantly having boy dramas and keeps the staff she does work with VERY entertained with all her stories. Ummmmmmmmm.. she has brown hair and doesn't really like school. Arghhhh! This is hard. DS is sick too so my mind isn't really very creative at the moment!

yeah, kitten is on the right track with the five liner

there was a young lassy named claire
    always playing so fair
    always on about boys
ahh the 16 yr old joys
    get them outta your hair!

(i'm stealing way too much from kitten here - but that's the structure my olds used to use - always started with "there once was a girl" or "there was a young lassy")

Limericks have a very specific structure, illustrated by something like:

The limerick packs laughs anatomicalIn space that is quite economical, But the good ones I've seenSo seldom are clean, And the clean ones so seldom are comical. For your assignment, how about...

There once was a young lass named Claire,
Who loved talking about boys and their dares,
But when push came to shove,
    The dramas of love,
    Are never smooth sailing, beware!
