Which one?

BG, your writing is beautiful. My fave is the second one.

BG I like them both - for me the first was far more emotive and poignant... I can relate to it with my story.....

I loved the first one! I could connect to it a lot easier than the second because it was more specific. Good luck! You have a great talent there. :hug:

Number one is my choice - brought tears and memories for me so I guess it is a personal connection that I feel.

Number two could be viewed in many different ways - perhaps appealing to a greater audience.

Both are beautiful. Didn't help much did I ;)

i ended up submitting my poem tonight - i put the second one in - in the end, i decided that the more generic one was going to work better and wouldn't need an explanation with it! not that i've explained it here, but so many of you have shared my journey (or similar journeys yourselves) so it makes sense to everyone

Naturally, I prefer no 1!! But the second one was great too and I think you made the right choice.

I really like them both but would probably choose the 2nd one. Good luck with the publishing! That is an amazing achievement. :)

Which I think alot of people could relate to in all sorts of areas of their lives.

It's very complicated to choose among the two. Perhaps I'd rather say that both are good at the same time. I'd like to be neutral since I am very confused what to choose between them.
