Babies Born August 1st-15th 2008 #5

Morning folks... been MIA for the last few days... really busy and having a very frustrating week....like for example I wanted to pick up some photos I have on display in a cafe in the city cause I wanted to give one to MIL as a Xmas present... well, the cafe has been sold and the new owner claims he owns the pics and won't give them back to me. Then I go to ring my friend (another lawyer) and our home phone battery is flat, and the mobile has been disconnected.... mobile is still disconnected three days later, now I need to go out and I would like to do last night's dishes first but I can't because the sink is blocked again so yeah it has been that kind of a week.

What date was Joshie born on again Squidipa, cos i think the months goes on the birthdate not the amount of weeks cos some months have 5 weeks (well business wise anyway!)

Good Luck with your weighin today Beckoes, was it you that had said Grace was just under the 50th %tile? If so I don't see that as a problem at all, especially if you have plenty of wet nappies (BF'd babies can poo pretty infrequently - 7-8 days inbetween here!) If she is happy and settled, they will have big and smaller gains, N's are bigger at the moment I think as she is doing a catchup! She is currently on the 5th%ile based on her actual age (5 1/2 months) which is a massive effort for her as it wasn't that long ago that on her corrected age (now 4 months) she had dropped to the 1st %ile on the charts. And on Tuesday her Paed said she didn't need to be any fatter, she was doing really well and said that where she is on the charts is right for her, so if she sits on the 5th%ile then that is fine and to ignore anyone who tells me otherwise :)

In the end it is Mother's instict, if you think that Grace is happy content and doing the right things well then that is fine :) But if youa re concerned/worried and unsure speak to the Dr and hopefully he/she will be able to reassure you.

Joshies is doing a big catch up too, so getting some whopper gains in ;)

Not much going on here. No rolling.. lots of giggling.. lots of chatting.. she was too busy chatting this morning, didn't want her bottle.. very frustrating when you are trying to get ready to go to work!!!! Ended up making her up another bottle and giving it to the day care ladies.. lol.. she looked as if she was ready for a sleep anyway.. norty girl!!! But thats cool.. she's cute.. we'll keep her ;)

Massive toothache here lately - going to the dentist later today - so I'm only here for half a day at work - so I probably should be doing some work.. lol.. I have the documents open on my computer so if anyone comes in it certainly gives the impression that I'm working... pmsl..

Mel.. i hope your tooth gets fixed up and you arnt in to much discomfort . Joshie has done the random rolls for weeks and weeks now but nothing consistant, he rather stand supported and his left foot stomps every time we call it the baby haka lol as he was made in and blood lines in nz lol its so cute hey. he has started arching his back and moving his body back wards on hsi back. he also goes round in a circle on floor on his back and try's to crawl and does the army crawl looking thing lol.

Im gonna make at shirt for josh saying " Made In New Zealand" with an arrow on it lol.

They are interesting, I reckon Joshie is just going to really fill out now, I bet you must have seen massive changes especially with 1kg gain over such a short amount of time! I reckon he will definitly fly by the doubling of his birth weight very quickly, N has really taken off in the last few weeks. It hink it is really interesting comparing them!

N was quite tall for her gestation, she was the same length at birth as her dad was at full term!! She has a bit of a big head too!! :rofl:

All in all quite an average little munchkin, hey? :lol:
