Well I have jsut been doing up more vegies for January, another batch including pumpkin, zucchini and carrot, I need to buy more apples and pears as I have a lot more vegies than fruit, I have no idea how long this will all last, but hopefully it will last a while, we will be starting slowly anyway!
I have to brave the city later today and I am not looking forward to it, but must get some more christmas presents sorted out!

Hey vic, just wanted to mention that rockmelon and watermelon are really good too :) Well, Jazz seems to like them and they freeze really well (though you have to add rice cereal as they are fairly watery, especially defrosted).
Good luck with the solids. Jazz is on three meals a day, usually 1.5 cubes with rice cereal mixed in. She's such a guts! But her breastfeeds are dropping to a not-so-exhausting level which I am so relieved about.
6 sleeps til Christmas.

So, I just got home from shopping not long ago, but when I was driving out of the underground car park, there were quite a few teen boys with their bikes and scooters trying to race me out of the car park (HELLO I'm in a big 4WD!! :rolleyes:) so I got out of the car park, parked upstairs and went straight back into the supermarket to dob them in! Seriously, I know it sounds harsh, but I would not have stopped if I had hit one of them! I HATE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS!!! lol! And if they were my kids, they would have been grounded for the rest of the holidays!! hehehe

Well its another hot one today. Just been in the pool - the water is 31 degrees LOL Kye also had a swim, he is lovin' the water which is sooo great!! He is now crashed hehe Hopefully he'll have an hour nap seeming hes cool :crossfingers:

Thought I would pop in for a quick hello. Its been AGES since Ive been on. Just so busy with everything. First there was the wedding, then the Familymoon then studying and now christmas! Ive also got a job working from home lined up so I can start earning a bit of spare cash to try and keep me home a bit longer!
I am NOT ready to go back to work!
Seven is now 4 months old and weighs 6.8kg.
Still feeding and everything is cruisy.
No hope in haides of catching up on personals.

Josiah oh man.... woke at 10.30 was restless but had bottle at 9pm so i cuddled him and me off to sleep while watching carols i LOVE carols!!! At 2 am he woke an we were still on couch tried to put him back to bed as he obviously was just tired and has been skipping his 2 am feeds for more cuddles. He eventually slept but at 3 he feed. then by 3:46 bottle gone and at 4.30 i was still trying to get him down so hubbie took over and fed changed burped him. at 7.30 hubbie brought him in and i managed to get him to sleep till 10 ish. and even now wont sleep.
Yesterday was grizzly too not screaming just grizzly. I believe his teeth are hurting there is a sharp like bump forming top left hand side. Thats where is brother got his first tooth too.
Soon hubbie will go back to bed to catch up. At moment ds3 asked dadda can we watch a storm movie so they waiting tv. How cute one storm chaser and a mini one in the making awwwww:)
yesterday joshie got beaten up by a peekaboo block he alright tho. well im off for birthday cake as it was hubbies bday on 19th. hope this makes sence josh is grizzling so i a gonna post it anyhow
last few days when joshie feeds he tries to put fingers in mouth i think this is teething any thoughts anyone???

I am so happy right now!! - I decided to list the treadmill on EBAY this morning just on the off chance someone might want to buy it before Xmas. I put in the listing 'would make great xmas present' and guess what it SOLD :rofl: ..... so I am stoked! The guy is coming on Tuesday to pick it up and best of all he is paying CASH :hooray: :dance:

i got new pic hehehe i think he looks chubby and wonderful but i am finding his legs are going purple and splotchy, this happened with ds3 when young poor circulation and pead said put him on diet he to big, so ahhh hrmmm anyone else getting this issue. and no its not a rash.

Everyone seems to be having the same problem of hard to settle baby at the moment... we have had that this week too! not sure if she has a cold or if she is just a bit more aware of things so we will see how next week goes...
Beth has been so fixated with our food this weekend we have let her try a few things... the Bear gave her some vegemite, she had some cucumber at lunch today and he even let her try my dessert! she thought it was all pretty exciting. She's just tasting things atm but we are thinking we will do the BLS thing.... seems like the way to go... anyway the Bear is trying to get me to come to bed so gotta scoot

Squidipa - Great ticker pic! Joshie looks sooo cute! Could be teething? I'm still waiting for my periods to start again, but I am still solely breastfeeding so no real surprises there.
Pixie - Beth is such a sweetheart! Gorgeous Christmas dress too.
One of the reasons our bubs may be having trouble settling, or just generally being cranky or clingy is that 19 weeks is a wonder week leap. So in the lead up (I think it was from about 14 weeks right up to 20 weeks) they may be cranky, clingy and/or crying or just generally not themselves. They are now learning more complex skills, so at about 20 weeks they should settle back down and keep practicing their new skills :) Remember that is 20 weeks from EDD, not actual birthdate. Not sure when you were due Mel and Pixie....

Squidipa: G sucks her finger when shes feeding too, i figured she just LOVES her fingers SO much that has to suck them at all times. Maybe teething though.not sure about the purple legs though
Pixie: without sounding like an idiot what is the "BLS thing" ? G been doing the same with food, have been giving her tastes of things, she opens her mouth in antisipation when she sees the spoon coming....and wants more.
G seems to be getting really hungry at the mo, i seem to be feeding her loads more than normal. must be a growth spurt or something.
actually went out to a restaurant for dinner yesterday, mind you we were back home at 7.30 but felt good to go out with G and DH. and she didnt mind, think she quite enjoyed being out in the dark.

Squidipa - hey just had a thought about the purple blotchy legs. A friend of mine's baby had purple blotches that came and went one night. She ended up taking him to hospital because the MCH advice line suggested meningitis. When she got there he had a great big fart and that was the end of it. No meningitis, just wind!! So perhaps it could be wind or even constipation? What's his poo output like? What is the consistency?
poo is very frothy but like whipped green cream very soft. thats interesting tho that maybe it could be wind. I just remember with DS3 ppl woudl freek out and say all the time your son has meningitis or meningacoccle (howeva thats spelt) when he didn't. I couldnt pick DS3 up due to it and after seeing specialists they said itw as poor circulation due to his extra weight. So based on that i just presumed maybe its the same thing with joshie. I might just see if there is some sort of runtine with it if it co insides with wind. It goes splotchy like when a baby is cold. YET the rest of him is perfect and consistent in colour and he could even be sweating. well its late i am tired just waiting on the last feed feed for josh but he seems to be stirring then going straight back to sleep.:
Beck - BLS is where the baby eats the same stuff as you, there is no pureed stuff and bubs feeds themselves so they control their food input - not the parent.:
Looks like everyone is having a bit of an unsettled time... Miss M was fed at around 5.00pm last night - we put her to bed around 630ish - she woke up at 2.30 ( I was dead to the world but DH got up to her) moved her in the cot - and then she woke up at 6am for a feed!!!
And I hadn't changed her nappy - I'm afraid to look at what the mother-ease cover is containing...lol
2nd last day at work today - yay!!
And thanks for toilet training comments - I'm not getting too excited - so not too worried about the nappies yet ;)

Having a hard time getting my act together today.... supposed to be heading out to a BB members' place but have to wait for the window cleaner to turn up and clean the windows... Beth was up at 5.40 am :o so feeling a bit fuzzy!
