Awww Fletchie glad you are having fun with Delta. Does she cry all night? Thats the thing i dont like with puppies and kittens. It breaks my heart. She is a good girl though sleeping outside. Bella would have a fit if we put her outside to sleep though. Poor Zaney's foot. What did he do to it again? Poor little man.

Fletch - yeah the lovely weekend...with the great company ;) must have done the trick! Actually it would have been Fri i think which was Paul's and my 8 yr anniversary (so that's an appropriate anniversary gift!) Not expecting anything though cause it's CD 29 now and i have a 34 day cycle - usually.......but Brooke has given me hope. It's silly really cause i'm already feeling REALLY bloated and am peeing constantly - lol - my brain is already teasing me :D

Sooooooooooo tired today. Oh my house smells of the freesias I spoilt myself with on the weekend. My fave flower - yummo!
Soph thats great its all going well. Brookie is my niece..shes nearly 4. What a gorgeous smell from your freesias too. I spoilt myself with lots of plants too on the weekend. I love plants!!! I love Spring. So labour vibes coming your way Wed...whoohooo.

Hi guys,
I'm up late again (as usual!) But will be toddling off to bed very soon as my feet are killing me!! I went for an 8km walk to the shops, vaccumed, washed floors, groomed dogs, got rocks delivered out the front and had to spread them and pulled out weeds!!!! I'm buggered!!! But it was Nick's first day off in a while, so we made the most of it!!
Jack had a ball and ate dirt and got totally messy!!!hehehehehehe
And every man and their dog has rung up today and wanted dogs groomed, so I'm booked out till Sunday!!

Now that Leila goes to preschool for the other 3 days that i used to have her, the girls don't get to spend nearly as much time together. Oh well - i can't comlpain as it's nice to only have her once a week now...spend more time with my own treasure :)

5am again this morning. I think that's going to just be her waking time. But hey, I was always like that so can't complain too much! MIL and FIL arrive today and I get my new blinds :) and new phone delivered (hopefully). So day at home today, cleaning and getting dinner organised. Such a nice day here though!

Well we had a WONDEFUL weekend here!. Kaitlyn was the healthiest she has been in about two months and she was just such an absolute pleasure to be around ..not that she isnt normally but man was she a good time this weekend!. We had a great Fathers Day ...even saw the IL's without any dramas WTF! Went out Saturday night to a 1920's themed party and caught up with some people we had not seen for ages which was nice !. So all in all ...great weather ...and just a great weekend!.
Now this week is count down to Kaitlyns party on Sunday ...so send us lots of Sunny weather vibes girls!.
Man they are just at such a wonderful age arnt they....Kaitlyn amazes me everyday with new things!. She has this push on car which you are meant to sit on and obviously push off and ride around on . But Kaitlyn has not worked out how to sit and push ...so she either sits on it and just plays or she stands up, holds on to the steering wheel and walks with it between her legs everywhere HAHAHHAHAHAHh so funny to watch!.
Well better be off as I am at work heheheh.

Sammy is feeling so much better today. Still has his horrrible cough but hes not so snuffly or whingy which is great. I am having such a battle though keeping him inside. We have to be outside all of the time. Does anyone else have this problem? Theres only so many things we can do outside..sometimes we have to be in! We have our whole living room set up with all of his toys with easy access....seriously it looks like a toy room but he just wants to be outside!!!! Funny boy!

Jo we have the same toy wise at home. Thankfully our new house has a HUGE kitchen and dining area ...plus a formal lounge and dining area. So the formal one is set up with our TV and lounges ect and then 1/2 the room is Kailtyns toys!. It is like a nightclub except instead of people standing on the sidelines of the dance floor waiting to be asked for a dance all Kaitlyns toys are waiting to be taken and played with ! .. And yes Kaitlyn LOVES outside although thankfully she is still happy inside as well.
hehehhehehe we will soon see who is right!

Jo - Lucie loves outside too and bangs on the door and windows to get out. That's why I take her to the park at least once a day.

Lucie has been better on the food so far today. Funny how they just go off it for a few days isn't it?
Blinds are all in except for one. They look great. Very plain but we thought it was better to keep it that way if we want to resell in a few years (will probably be oldies buying it too). Phone still hasn't arrived and I don't hold high hopes of it arriving either.
Oh bother, Lucie has just learnt how to open the laundry door.

Soph thats great you have a park close by. We dont but we do have cows, sheep and horses so I guess its not completely boring for him. We have a sand pit under the cubby house and he loves going out there and eating the sand...arghh. The blinds sound great too!

I am hoping to be at home on Saturday this weekend to cook a few more healthier finger foods for Indah's b'day party... any ideas???
So far I have made mini quiches with egg, ham, mushroom, spring onion, tomato & cheese in them...
I have frozen them til her party (i take 2 out every now & then & she has them for lunch).
DH will make fingers foods more so for the adults with marinated chicken wings, spare ribs etc...
But whatelse? I am having a day off next Wed so am gonna pop in to the Party food supplier & see what they have, but I am happier to make our own esp for the kids...
I better also go to the cake shop & order something too!!! (I know I am cheating in regards to the cake, just no time!)
OOH I think Girl for soph & I really think it'll be Friday!!! maybe early morning...?
Indah is having a ball with the boy my sister also looks after, for 2 days ever week they are at my sisters together & he is a big boy, but about 3-4 months younger than indah, but they both giggle at each other & she walks around furniture & he chases her by commando crawling everywhere & then they just smile at each other! I was there yesterday afternoon & my sis said its' so cute coz they totally interact now & amuse each other!!!
OOOH yeah I have the Coles Mag in my bag now so will get the ingredients for that on Fridayu night & whip them babies up ...
I'd prefer the kids to have the healthier finger foods, esp as Indah eats from 6am til 8pm... NON stop!!!!

Healthy mini pizza's with vegies and stuff on them.....thai chicken balls (but very similar to the sausage rolls) - i have a really easy yummy recipe somewhere if you want them......can't think of anything else atm. Oh I did a big fruit platter with strawberries, grapes, kiwi fruit and stuff on it and the kiddies devoured it - a big hit!

Well the phone arrived but they didn't have any of my phone in stock so they sent me a different make and model WITHOUT A CHARGER!!!! So it is useless to me. The poor Indian woman in the call centre got a total ear bashing from me, because now I won't get the phone until Friday. Aaaaaaaaaagggggggggghhhhhhhhh. It's enough to send a woman into labour.........

Dh has taken Lucie for a bike ride. She loves her bike seat, you should see the smiles. We had to pad it out more with a few old bunny rugs 'cos she's so small. Ok....better stop procrastinating. Have cleaned the house and made dinner though.

Jo and Fletch, Kaitlyn does the same with washing . Although the other day she actually sat at the washing basket and handed it to me to hang up! I was so impressed so I let her do it again the next time I hung washing out but she seemed to have forgotten what to do and put it all over the grass hehehe.

Sammy is happily eating grated cheese at the moment lol...so i get some quiet. Is everyone elses bubba getting super clingy? Sammy will hold on to my leg for most of the day lol makes it very very difficult!!! His being sick really seems to have taken it out of him. The girls are all dressed up today for school. They look great. As a part of literacy week they dress up as a character from a book. Livvy is dressed as Jasmine from Aladin, Em is Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and Jess is a rabbit one of 4 with her friends not sure what book its from. Look great anyway

Trace here is the recipe ....you will have to experiment with the amount of liquid as I lost my old recipe book so kinda made this one up ...but it is tried and tested ..just needs some adjustments to get the dough perfect!
Pizza Scrolls
Dough
1egg
5 Tablespoons butter
1cup milk
2 1/2 cups of SR flour
Shake of Salt
1 Rub the butter into the flour then add the egg , milk and salt. Add extra moisture or flour to get the perfect dough consistency .
2. Seperate the dough into three balls. Roll each ball out to a rectangle ( approx 1cm think)
Filling
1 can/jar tomato paste
sweet chilli sauce
Onian
Garlic
Mushrooms
grate zucchini
and any other vege you like really!
(bacon or Salami are GREAT as well.
Fry garlic and Onian then add all other veges and cook for 5mins. Add tomato paste and dash of sweet chilli sauce and warm.
Then spread on the dough , roll them up and slice then about 3Cms thick. Turn the scrolls on their side and back them in the oven at 160c...I cant remember for how long ..arghhhh maybe check them after about 20mins ..you will know when they are ready.
I find if you precook the filling the scrolls are SOOOO much yummier...and dont fall apart like they do if you put topping on them like a Pizza IYKWIM>

Aww Trace have fun. I have found that costume places are fantastic as they will often get rid of their old stock very cheaply. We have tonnes and tonnes of dress ups...seems all kids love doing it. Im not the most sewy person lol so i like to have outfits on hand!!! Have fun deciding what nursery rhyme character!

So you say cook up the filling til it's a paste I can paste on the dough & then bake!
Woo Hoo, I am gonna make them & the sausage rolls this weekend... I can freeze them Cass????
Thai Sausage Rolls
Makes 32
500g minced chicken
1tbsp sweet chilli sauce
100g cream cheese
1 med grated carrot
2 spring onions sliced finely
3 eggs beaten
1 tspn of basil or coriander, chopped
3 sheets of puff pastry
2 tbsp sesame seeds
Tomato sauce to serve
Place chicken, chilli sauce, cream cheese, carrot, spring onion, herbs & 1 beaten egg into a large bowl & mix well.
Cut the pastry sheets in half & spoon 3 tbsp of mixture along 1 end of the pastry sheet.
Using a pastry brush add some of the egg mix to the other end of the sheet & then roll into sausage roll shape.
Brush the top with egg mix & sprinkle with sesame seeds
Wrap or place in airtight container & freeze.
Before defrosting cut into 4 to make mini sausage rolls.
Preheat oven to 180deg & bake for 10-15 mins…
