I?m always chasing bargains,i love E-bay,any kind of markets,lol.I don`t mind buying second hand goods if they are in good condition,iykwim.I can`t afford to buy everything i wont brand new,but I`ve bought some great stuff on there.

Olivia is recovering from her tonsilitis (sp?) and is finally going to sleep at night again. I tell you the last week of screaming and crying for hours at bedtime was not fun. Now if only she would stop wanting a 'hello' between 3am adn 4am.
and another bargain junkie here, the kids are in 2nd hand clothes from their cousins heaps, especially for childcare. I love markets but find them a bit hard with the kids. I have heaps to sell at the baby markets when I find the time.

Louise: I am just addicted to ebay for dresses.. I can't help myself.. :lol: I am good though I don't allow myself to spend anymore then $10 including postage on a dress.. I figure if I want to spend more I can buy from the shops lol.
BB junkie here too. Since the day Ash was born EVERYTHING came from ebay. Every bit of furniture and nursery item and some clothes. And the best part is things ive so far sold everything ive finished with for twice the amount i brought it for!! :dance:
Im buying an activity table atm for a chrissy present- its only 6 months old!. i would of like to buy it new but by the time there done with it, is it really worth it!!
Ash started climbing backwards down the stairs now YAY so proud he can turn himself around and go feet first. ive been trying to teach him for a while. its so cute!!
Alicia - good to hear Olivia is getting better. Just horrible to have for bubs :(

MoM- Chronic E-bayer here :) I bought a toy shelf with the cloth drawers- sounds a bit like yours- on there a couple of weeks ago- mine wasn't as good as your bargain but, I paid $50. I buy as much as possible on Ebay. There's a really good trash and treasure market near me too, and I try to get to the baby markets as well. Go the second hand for everything I reckon- heaps cheaper and no guilt if it doesn't get a lot of use.
Lauren- Ty used to have all his day sleeps on my bed until he got to crawling. It's a bit too dangerous for us now- Ty is stealthy and fast, doesn't make much noise when he wakes up :) If they are getting good sleep and you are getting time out, no prob I reackon. And like Liz said, it gets them used to a big bed quicker.
Nic- I have to watch myself for that- 'bargains' that would be cheaper at Big W :redface: I get in big trouble fo dh for getting so excited about 'winning' things I lose my commen sense.
Alicia- Poor little munchkin. Hope she feels better real soon.
Ty is discovering he can climb... oh dear :) He's trying to climb out of his cot (hasn't quite figured that out yet thank goodness), can't go in the walker anymore because he climds out of it and the lounge room is just one big climbing frame- I need rubber floors.
Trying to decide if it's safe to leave him in his cot when he's trying to climb out, or should I swap him to a toddler bed? I'm sure he will crawl out of a toddler bed, but that's gotta hurt less than fallinf out of the cot!! I think it will be a while before he can actually get out, but he surprises me some times.
Off to swimming lessons today :) Yay!!

Bought my person's present today and I am excited! New toy shop opened near us and they had some big bargains so I was able to get something better than what I thought the budget would stretch too.

having a crappy day here, well i am, mirani's just fine.
mirani has an appointment on thurs with the surgeon to check her out and book her in for the op.
alicia, mirani had tonsilitis as well about a month and a half ago. just try to keep her fluids up. she wont want to eat even her milk cos it hurts to swallow.
mirani's cutting her 7th tooth atm. so far so good.
both not so dp and i are ebay junkies. i just bought a hand bag over the weekend for my birthday. i just hate the wait for things to arrive.
Oh I hate that too Michelle... and when it takes more then 10 days I start getting cranky haha

I found a cute iron on transfer online and I printed it out and will transfer to Olivias white shirt.. It says Happy Birthday and is pink and has a teddy bear on it..

Well its been a couple weeks but Ash's box of locks im making for him finally got a coat of paint tonight. final tomorrow morning and the rest of the bits can go on that night i reckon yay. gees its taken forever!
I had a big moment today of letting go of Ashs baby clothes. i have 6 huggies boxes full of his clothes and just couldnt part with them! but i know i wont have another bubs for a while theres no point in keeping them, so i picked all my fav ones and had to keep them and put all 127 items on ebay! :rolleyes: was a big move for me. i NEVER get rid of anything that special.
Ive even got a special box i keep all ash's stuff in, even his first baby nail clippings.. haha silly i know, but there sooo cute... Did anyone keep the umbilical cord clip?????? i did :D

I have kept a few fave thing of the kids clothes. we kept some of Olivias baby dresses for her dolls when she gets older. I have all 4 umbilical cord clips, hospital wrist bands, even the little glasses Jacob wore when he was under the Billi Lightss.. We opted not to keep the kids drip boards (when they had drips in) cus they made us sad.. Isaac,Jacob and Olivia all had drips for various reasons..

We kept the umbilical clip, Ty's first dummy, his wristbands and the first outfit he grew out of in a baby time capsule that SIL bought us. Lauren ikwym about the Huggies boxes full of clothes- I have about five taking up valuable storage space! :)

I finally signed up to MSN. Now what do I do?
Buzzie- I kept all of Loren's hospital gear, and her going home outfit. I have 6 large boxes of girls clothes. I am waiting to see what sex our next bub will be before passing everythig on.
Loren is cutting two teeth down the bottom and her two eye teeth. Once these come through she'll have 10 teeth. YIKEs
I was a single mum last week. DH went to India for work. I fully admire those mums doing it alone and those who have hubbies that work away. What a tough week, but I survived and so did the kids more importantly.
Sara is 3 on Sunday.We are having a park party and I will be making a Butterfly cake. My little miss is so very excited.
Not much else to report.
