Thanks Lauren, by some miracle I got the computer working, well sort of. Hopefully it gives me time to get my photos all off it. I know once I send it to the shop they will wipe the whole damn thing and start it from scratch.

Morgan, I am so sorry I forgot to post and say thank you for Abbey's birthday present. It was very lovely and is sitting on her shelves in her bedroom.

Nic, you can have our bloody rain, I am sick of it. Fine one day, freezing the next, day after torrential rains. Me thinks the weather man needs reminding that its December in Australia, not in America!!

It is supposed to be damn hot here today, can't see it happening though. We have DP's work xmas party down the city and I have a dress to wear, think I will need to dig out a jacket to take jic.

If my pc does die completely before I am on again I hope you all have a happy and safe Christmas. And of course that Santa is kind to you all :hug:

Feeling a little flat today.. not sure why really. just bla I think lol.. its hot. no end in sight of this heat and well I don't do well with summer :lol: Can't run the Ac 24 hours a day so turned it off this morning and now I am melting. kids keep bugging me to take them for a swim.. simon went to work.. ah bla. Was going to take the kids to the cafe around the corner for a treat but it is just so hot and looks like rain.. ARGH I so need my license. why can't i just get the confidence to go for my damn test.. I can drive. I know I can but I donn't do well when being tested.. can't someone just follow me around and say yup she can drive.. I would feel so much more comfortable.. sigh!

Trish - glad its working, yesterday i brought an external hard drive to save all my photos and videos of ash - Had about 2000+ LOL i would be soooo upset if my computer crashed and i lost them all!

Nic - i hear u on the crappy weather! It was warm here 2 nights ago and i had the fan on, well the damn thing stuffed up ashs sinus and he now has a horrid cold and cant breath very well and is miserable!! cant win!! :wall:

Off to see wiggles tomorrow WOOT!!!

Speaking of wiggles, can anyone sugest any good dvds i can try for Ash. He loves wiggles and night garden and thats all he watches, mum reckons he should get more different ones. I did try baby einstien but hes SCREAMED at one of the animals and doesnt like it, never figured out which one it was tho.lol

Yep we did this last weekend a worthy investment i think. We have had 2 viruses in the last month and the computor still isnt right- cant use google at all.:wall:

Well my girls are on the mend though i am still in the house of boogers lol.

I ended up working on Fri and i worked tonight and go back at 8am (yes i should go to bed) so i am pretty knackered.

Molly is pulling herself up lots now :dance: She is also saying mummy ALL the time but she is sounding more like DD1 everyday so its very confusing.

Well miss Olivia is pretty much walking now.. Yesterday she only crawled a couple times.. It is so cute. Although this moring she has crawled bit She is very busy playing with some toys.. She picks up her little phone and says hewwo.. and I bought her a little purse thing for her Birthday and finally today she is playign with it hahaha.

Buzzie, thanks for that. I was thinking of going up to Harvey Normans. They have usb key things on sale, can get an 8gb one for around $34 I think it was. Surely that will be big enough. I haven't backed up my pics on here since I got this puter over 2 years ago. So there are HEAPS, the only pics I have of Abbey printed up are her birth ones too. Have to say I think that is the part I dislike about digital, makes you lazy at printing the pics out. And how do you not print all of them ??

So is the external hard drive a better thing to grab than the portable usb ?

Went out to DP's xmas party lastnight, got home at 1.30am, Abbey was awake for 3 feeds, Tehya woke once screaming out and I am up by 7am, not a happy mummy, esp as he slept on the lounge and only had to wake for Tehya.

All these clever bubs walking and talking. Abbey still isn't walking, she cruised just fine, can stand for a few seconds on her own, but other than that.... As for talking, well she STILL can't say mum, I think she said it a couple of times when she was crying for me, but that's it.

Lauren, what about some other music kind of dvd's like High-5, or an ABC one ? Abbey doesn't really show much interest to Tehya's dvds just yet.

Trish: if the 8gb card is for 2 years worth of pics I would buying quite a few then ;) I wonder if they run on usb1 or only usb 2.. hmm get a little tired of our 1gb card (well mp3) to transfer movies between comps lol.. be easier if I could transfer 3or 4... random thinking finished.. moving on

See Nic, I am so stupid when it comes to these things. LOL. I had assumed that that was a big one. It was the biggest they had advertised.

A way of working how much you need is by clicking on your pictures and down in the bottom corner somewhere it should say XXX amount of gb.. Or right click and hit properties and see what that says

Would that just be in My Pictures Nic ? I have all mine on a photo editing program on here. Of course My Pictures is still on here too. Maybe I need to do this after I've had some sleep....

We had Monique's birthday party yesterday with our families which we ended up having in our apartment. We were cosy but it wasn't too bad. The kids did so well cooped up in the house for hours. We were so knackered after we did the clean up and we didn't end up telling the families Monique was going to be a big sister! We were on the go constantly and I wasn't really thinking about it. Will tell my family today at our xmas lunch. Monique got some gorgeous presents - mostly dresses. We did ask for clothes, books and PJ's so everyone delivered.

I couldn't get to sleep even though I was exhausted and then didn't sleep very well and Monique woke up 3 or 4 times and then we were up just before 8am. Lots to organise for the lunch today so I better start packing everything and getting myself ready.

I will catch up with everyone later.

Our eldest son had his Air Force Cadet March yesty it went really well,looks like he`s got some girls chasing him,lol.

We have a couple of friends coming over today,but not sure if we are off to the Zoo!We were waiting to see hao the weather was,so far so good,the sun is out.

Trish and nic - if you want to find out the size you have used Right click on the folder you have the pics saved in and go to properties it will tell u.

I brought a 160 GiG Hard drive from harvey norman for $119 on special.
I have so many tho i needed it. And a tone of videos. So works well for me.
This one can acutally back up your entire computer including emails ect if you wanted it too. - i dont but u can.
I also have a 2gig tiny memory plug so i just select the ones i want printing and take that to the photo shop, plug it in and off i go. Very easy and quick, no excuse to be lazy trish!! LOL

Seriously though, thanks a heap for that. I think I will just go and grab the external hard drive thingamajig, have a teeny 1gb portable usb that DP brang home from work, that will let me put ones on for printing.

Lori, I used to have a whole heap uploaded onto photobucket, that was until they shut down. Still have some on snapfish I think, all old ones.
