Aww look at your ticker pic.. How cute :)
Not much planned .. Well unless you count finally starting our house renovations this year  Builders coming next week to talk about what we want and to look at the plans we drew.. Can't wait.. SO excited but so nervous we won't be able to do what we want
At present we are in a highset 3 bedroom home.. Seriously running out of space.. Hopefully by the end of the year we will have a nice up/down house with 5 bedrooms up stairs including a small parents retreat.. Downstairs will have living, kitchen ect ect.. At this stage no spare room as we don't think we have the room.. anyways i am sure I will put up before and after pics on Fb.. So everyone keep your fingers and toes crossed that everything goes to plan.. :D:D
-
Wow thats so exciting Nic!! so hope it goes to plan for you..! would love to build/renovate my own home! Still waiting for Rob to build me one LOL (being a builder)
-
 one day he will (maybe lol)

Thought I would drop by and say Hello and see how all the little 2 yr olds are doing (and mums and dads)
Olivia had a CHN appointment today and woo.. She is finally 12.2kg and 88cm tall. she has gone from the 15% line up to 50% for height and weight. CHn was very impressed with her speech and other skills.. I felt so chuffed
Jacob has his 4 yr old check up (6 months late lol) He is doing great. She was really pleased to see him writing his name ect.. Passed his hearing and eye test so yay :)
Anyways I need a shower and think I will head to bed before the miss awakens and demands to sleep with me. *sigh*
-
Nic Yay on your kiddies ppassing the tests, I still have to take the kids, will get around to it eventually. I have not long got back from a wedding here in mt Beauty, the babysitter siad the kids were excellent.
-
Glad the kids were good while you went to the wedding.
I am a bit sleepy (and sore) now. I bought Wii Fit on Friday and ended up doing 60 minutes on it yesterday and well I feel it this morning  All the kids but Ethan are up already *yawn*
Time for a morning coffee

Hi everyone,
Great to hear that all the 'big' kids are doing well. Olivia had her 2 year check up the other day and is now just on 13k and 87cm tall. She was very cheeky while we were there  I can't believe how grown up she is looking now. Sometimes I look at how she is sitting or standing and it is like a glimps into what she will look like at 18+. My little baby is growing up!
The Little Miss is getting even more insistant about being indepedant lately. Today she tried dressing herself and got really upset when I had to help with the t-shirt. She can however put on shorts and shoes on her own now, so she is feeling very very proud of herself :D (Currently she is on the floor in front of me trying to do a handstand, she actually isn't doing a bad job of trying to kick her legs up...)
She is also into 'helping' a lot. Yesterday she followed me into the toilet and asked me if I needed a hand :rolleyes:
We are still holding off on TT. Olivia just gets insistant about not wanting to go to the toilet like a big girl if I mention it, so I think I will wait a few more months.
OK, we are off to do some work in the backyard before it gets too hot. Does anyone know a magic way to keep spiders from building their home in out outdoor setting?
-
Can't help you with spiders we luckily don't get many.. google might be able to come up with something I am sure
Isn't it great when they start becoming independant. Frustrating and great all at the same time :)
I just did another 60 minutes on the Wii fit.. I feel so good for it. I just hope I keep it up.. I am sure the kids will remind me. They enjoy it to :)
Time to do more washing. My poor drier is going overtime. We have one day of sunshine in just over 3 weeks. I don't mind the rain but I am sure I will cringe when we get out next Electricity bill

Hi everyone, ash had his check last month and was still 15kg been like that since his 18mth weight. He's 90cm tho so I think shot up and lost his baby pudgy.
Glad everyones well , well done nic on the wii!! Wish I could get more motivated. I have worse m/s atm then with Ash :( just can't be bothered to do anything an:shakehead:d eating sucks !
Alicia - I'm not pushing Ash with TT either, tho he goes to potty only if his nappy is off, I'm very happy for him to be ready on his own..... Tho would love him to be out nappies went no2 comes lol
So tired, off for another nap before diego finishes lol

Take care.
Kieren sits on his potty, but i`am not too worried about getting him into undies just yet....he uses it when he wants too, otherwise I dont make a big deal out of it.
All is good with my family, hope everyone else is all well too. Take care.xx;)

Hi
all is good here except for DH working away again. Fia has pretty much toilet trained herself. Quite a releif as Maria was a trial.
-
Hi Susan and Louise
All good here.. We have finally got Olivia to put herself to bed at night and almost every night she sleeps ALL night in her big girl bed. Last night she was pretty unsettled so I just let her sleep with me from 11. But I am ok with it as long as it isn't an every single night thing :)
I had a huge weekend and am really suffering from tiredness today  We were meant to go on a booze cruise on Saturday night but it was cancelleddue to a cyclone hovering off the coast and there were concerns it was going to come this way but thankfully it didn't and we didn't even get much rain from it.. So we all went up to the pub that night. My mum had my 4 kids kids plus my neighbours 2. (thanks mum) We originally were going to come home around 8 but mum rang and said all kids asleep stay and enjoy yourself and well enjoy myself I did
Simon and I staggered home at 1:30 and stagger we did hahaha.. We were in bed by 2 but do you think I could sleep. I heard the neighbours come home at 4 (they went to town and I said would have their kids till sometime the following day) I then got up with mum at 5:45 with the kids and by golly I was so tired.. I ended up crashing on the lounge floor at Midday and slept for 4 hours  Then Monday night we went to the neighbours when mum went to bed and I said to Simon I want to be home around 10. Well we walked in the door at 3am  I am swearing off any alcohol for at least a week hehe. overdid it I think ;)
This is the longest time I haven't been pregnant or breastfeeding since January 2003 and I have to say I am just loving it.
Now this week we have skips in our front yard as we are emptying our house in preparation for our renovations. We are still waiting on the builders final quote and hopefully finance won't be a problem but for now we really have to remove some very much unwanted and uneeded things..
So I best move and help my dear mother who is busy folding clothes at the moment..
I hope everyone else is having a good time with life at the moment :)

Hi guys!
Susan - yeh im still pinching myself its almost 14 weeks. Just flying. tho im hanging to finish work more than anything atm!
Ash is great with the potty, tho i try jocks but as soon as there on he pees in them so he only goes potty or toilet when he has nappy free time, i think when im home full time i can pursue it abit more if hes ready.
Kitten - thats awesome Sofia has TT herself!! are u still using nappies for her? I was trying pull ups with ASh but there so damn expensive.
Nic - wow what an awesome time!! It was so great to finally weened Ash, tho i weened him a week after finding out i was pregnant again so i never got that break to sneak in some drinkies LOL So nice u and hubby can go out together like that. What an awesome mum you have :)
Well have my first antenatel apt in 2 hours.. that'll make it that little bit more real lol
Robs just being so awesome... feel sooo weird to do this with him this time! he was getting so excited at our 12 wk scan. So glad hes getting to see what he missed out on with Ash!
Take care everyone... Any plans for easter holidays?!?! Besides hiding from this horrid weather!
-
Hi everyone!
I am still around.
I'm very jealous of all the toilet training that is going on. Olivia is still refusing to use the toilet or the potty although she has started to tell us when she is wetting her nappy so that is a step in the right direction. Her new excuse for not using the potty is that it doesn't have water in it like the big people toilet :p:rolleyes:
Nic, sounds like a great weekend. We had a night out last week while my FIL babysat and it was so nice to share a bottle of wine and eat a whole dinner without having to rush.

Hello All
Just popped in to have a look at threads on the mini pill and thought I would check our little thread and you have been chatting away!
I'm sad because AF arrived yesterday. Not had that for 1.5 years and it has made me quite moody (poor DH). Decided to start the mini pill as well so we'll see how that goes. Not tried it before.
Monique is going really well. She surprises me all the time with things she knows and remembers. She repeats everything and is so funny because I say to her that "mummy is serious" when I need her to do something so she says to Amelia, "mummy is sewious sister". Cracks me up every time.
TT is stop and go. She was going really really well and then she wouldn't wear undies and at childcare this week she has been wearing undies over her nappy although today she had undies on and no accidents. I can't wait for TT to be over.
-
Fia is in undies during the day and nappies at night, I found the pullups from toysrus were the cheapest
-
Kitten - thanks, ill have to check them out.
Tinsel - glad u could pop in :) the group is getting smaller lol I went on the mini pill when Ash was nearly one, and OMG... i was the most horrid person to be around.. arngry as one minuet then crying the next it was like a switch flicked the day i started and even mum said you are never going on it again LOL and i was almost normal as soon as i stopped, but i only took it for a month so i dont know if i needed time for it to settle or thats what it just did to me LOL
