nadine - zara still has morning milk in a sippy cup (tomme tippee) as she prefers to ly down when having it. but drinks milk out of a normal during the day. aiden is still on a bottle. i start swapping to sippy cups when zara was 18 months so aiden will start soon. i just do it gradually. 1/2 a cup to start of with once a day and keep increasing it.
aiden is too still on 3 bottles, morning, arvo and night - he's love them!!!
kaydee - i hope your dad is ok....nasty step-mum!!!
snowy - glad to hear your all well. bad luck bout the weather though.
my kids are all wonderful. zara is 4 today. im sad yet happy at the same time. i can't believe she's 4...she's already talking about going to school when she's 5 1/2, god im gunna be lost!!! she's soooo grown up yet still so playful which i love to watch. aiden has had a few ulcers on his tongue and has been unwell for a few days but he's back fighting fit now.
last night we went to penguins at phillip island...GOD it was cold but the kids loved it.
i hope everywell is well!
take care
narelle
PS: im good too! currently 17 weeks and starting to show...looks like we're gunna have to start telling soon.
-
We're so quiet recently. I hope everyone is well.
Narelle, oh wow on Zara turning 4! She is a big girl, hey? Wolf keeps telling me he's a big boy :D Everytime I say "oh you are such a sweet little boy" or "oh are you a little fireman" he always stresses that he is big. lol. I have to say I am freaking out about Wolf turning 3 this year... where did time go? it seems like just last year that I had him... just last year that he was this little baby... and now he is such a big boy and acting all tough...
Zara has 8 teeth now, 4 on top, 4 on the bottom. I hope the drooling will subside soon... Wolf stopped way earlier... it's driving me nuts... I have to change her twice a day still as she is soaking wet by lunch time.
She recently started saying "Oh no!" .. it's so cute! She also has discovered the word "No" in general and will cross her arms, turn away from you and go "NO!" if she doesn't want something. And if she wants you to do something but you don't want that, she covers her eyes with her hands and fake cries. She is such a drama queen!! I don't know where she picked it up... maybe she's just a natural...lol...

Hi everyone!!
Katie, how is it in Oz?? When are you heading back to Germany? I am sure you are having a fabulous time, despite the cold weather. Did you buy some "toddler taming" books? Robin Barker has a sequel to her Baby Love which I LOVE.
Narelle, wow... coming up to the half way mark! Is it just me or has it gone really quickly? Have you told ppl? Hope you are feeling well and are in the good, glowy part of pregnancy and enjoying it.
Teena, how are you? Any plans for a no. 2 at your end? How is work? How is princess Allegra? Everytime I put Zara in her Cotton On skinny jeans I think of you! Though boy, she is growing out of all her no.1 clothes... so scary.. I can't believe she is in size 2 in most things now (but it's summer here, so can make pants last a bit longer ... and she is so skinny, she actually has a Polo Ralph Lauren pair that says 9 months and she is wearing them as 3/4 pants now, lol perfect, fit though for her now whereas before they were so baggy on her)
Nadine, good to see you in the pre-ttc group! Nice to have someone there I know. Who knows... maybe we'll be pg together again. That would be neat.
Sarah, hope you too have reached the "gorgeous" part of pregnancy now and no more m/s for you (blurg.. not looking fwd to that).
Us, well, Zara is teething again. She has 4 molars pushing through. No wonder she is waking every night crying. More talking too. Latest word is "money"... seems to fit perfectly seeing that DH and I are both in banking... lol. Kids were a bit crazy while we had so much stuff going on but things have calmed down again. We are going to Berlin tomorrow where Wolf was born. Very excited about seeing my friends there.
Hope you all are well!

Hey All,
Just letting you know that im back in Germany again. I had a brilliant time visiting home, I really wish i could have stayed there though. I tell you what, I must attract drama wherever i go. Lots of dramas went on in my family, so weird it all happened when i was there.
I feel so sorry for Ben being back. I felt like he really was "living" in Oz, now we are back to boring "normal" life again. He loved meeting all the family, i felt soooooooo guilty when we left. THEN when we arrived back home MIL started her controlling again... LONG STORY, but because of jet lag we asked her to look after ben for a few hours yesterday so we could catch up on some sleep. Ended up we slept through the alarm and at 8.30pm MIL came over to get some things for Ben "He is sleeping over tonight!". I was half asleep and didnt want him to sleep there but it all happened so fast, i really didnt have time to think. I cant explain why this annoys me so much, but i feel like she thinks she knows better and that she is the family leader and we have to do what she says. AGH! Welcome "Home" - here we go again.
Take care!
Katie

Hello ladies,
Thought I better pop in here again and post.
We have finally bought our first home, so we move into that in mid september. We are quite pleased because we have been looking since I was pregnant with kayla. Missed out on 3houses previous to this one. Anyway, it's all very exciting :)
We are also TTC #2 now. I am in the 2ww so we'll see what happens. I will be happy if I am, but if I am not, then that will be handy also because it means I will be able to lift heavy things and be more useful when we move.
Kayla is going well. Trying to say more and more words each day. She has her own talk amongst real words and talks it in sentences. It is quite cute. Everything at the moment she say "na" to (nup without the "p"). When she says yes she sounds like a kiwi, hehe. She has been fitted for her first orthotics too (she is pigeon toed).
Anyway, that is all really.
I hope everyone is well xxxx
Forgot to say:
Katie- Glad you had a lovely time here is Oz. Sorry to hear about your "welcome home" not being very welcoming :(
Snowy- Aww that is very cute of Zara with her "no". When are you planning on TTC?
-
Yeah! Katie is back :)
Great to hear you had a good time in Oz. Thought you would. Shame to hear though that MIL-from-hell struck with a vengance upon return.
Nadine, yeah on finding a house!! That is so cool!
We will ttc in October. Looks like we might be due close again!! That would be neat!
lol on Kayla sounding like a Kiwi :D
Zara keeps saying more and more stuff. She is just soooooooo cute recently. She is such a little character.

hi there!
sorry its been a while.
aiden has been in hospital with croup, zara has had croup also but at home on medication, DH has had the flu for 5 weeks (such a whinger!) and im hitting week 4 with the flu....im so sick off being sick!
other than that we are ok...busy planting 100 trees, ripping out some yucky trees, building fences, gardening, working, looking after kids and heap more. im so busy but very happy. our reovation is just weeks away from starting which i can't wait for.
i think i about 23 weeks at the moment its so hard to keep track (this time!). I had my scan a few weeks ago and everything is fantastic, we are having another BOY!!!!!
katie - glad your home, sorry about your MIL. had a run in with mine too - stupid b**ch, she's soooo rude. not going to justify her by talking bout it. just as long as you and DH are happy like me and my DH try to not let them get to you. focus on the good in DH and ben! that what i do and im sure in anoys her more that we are happy!
snowy and nadine maybe PG together? any news?
oh better go and finish cooking dinner, will be back soon.
take care narelle
-
good to see you back Kaydee, sorry your mil is being a pain again, hope its all good again?
I haven't been around because i changed my email and got cut off from replying, i didn't realise till i emailed the mods :)
ALl is good here, i'm coming up to 24 weeks now, feeling mostly ok, have the odd sick day but nothing to much anymore. Feeling lots of kicks now and all seems to be fine at the scans etc. Its amazing how much quicker a second pregnancy goes than the first.
We have bought a house and we settle next week so can't wait for that. Has a big backyard for H to run around in.
All the best Nadine and Snowy with TTC i'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you guys.
Sorry you guys ahve all been sick Narelle, that sucks, glad the pregnancy is going well though.
-
Hi ladies...
Thought i would just pop in here and see how you are all going...
Wilson - my lord, your pregnancy is FLYING !!!! and you too Narelle - yay on the boy news BTW too.
Nadine and Snowgirl - maybe we could tag team - ive got 2.5 weeks to go, so maybe one of you two will be pregnant when i have this one ?//!!!!!!
Kaydee - i read your last few posts....grrr at the MIL. Do you think you will ever move out to Aust?
HOw are our babies? Although not babies anymore are they? It seems at around 17 months sophie just became this toddler - she went from baby, to toddler. Talking more, using her hands more, it was a real turning point. SHe's still my baby though, i am finding it hard to fathom i will have a newborn here in a few weeks.....a slight feeling of the guilts, hopefully that will wash away.
Hi to everyone else (PrincessT - how are you going??).
MWAH........
-
wow, I cant believe how long it has been since my last post.... Or anyone's last post for that matter!
thought i might pop in quickly and see how you all are going. Ben is doing well. I now take him to Playgroup every Monday morning. he loves it, and i enjoy it too. I've signed up for another German class, that starts this week. Im looking forward to it.
Nothing much has been going on though. Yesterday we went to a huge indoor playground. We all had a wonderful day. Dh isnt home very much, so it was a really great day spending time with my two men.
Ben is going well. Although, since starting playgroup I've noticed he isnt as talkative as the other "babies" (but i think thats because of the two languages), but he loves dancing and interacting with people... so that's great. He has been having a bit of trouble lately with two teeth coming through, so he has been a little grumpy.
RE: Moving to Oz - YES YES YES! We have talked about me moving to Oz next year with Ben, Dh needs to stay behind to finish his Uni, but this is all really rough planning. Plus, i dont know if we will be able to afford to move back. So its all up in the air at the moment. We will see what comes. But it's so very difficult being here. When i was home (Oz) i felt like myself, and here im a totally different person - i feel so dependent on Dh, its not good.
Well, i look forward to reading what you are all up to!
Take care.:)
-
OMG! I just realised that Mbear is almost 39 weeks!! WOW! How fast time flies.
Mbear, how are you????????
-
Wow MBear you have to come and let us know about the new little bubba, can't believe how quick that has gone.
Hope you are able to move back to Aust eventually Kaydee, it must be so hard being over there.
We are all good, H had a cold for a day and now its just a runny nose but he has a molar coming through so maybe it was all to do with that and not a cold at all...We are moving at the moment and move in officially on Friday to our new home, all very exciting, we painted H's room and bought stickarounds etc to decorate and new flooring is going in on Thursday so can't wait to move in and finally have something that will one day be ours :)
Not much else happening, have to book in for a 3d scan soon of this bub...had some skin cancers removed yesterday OUCH the local didn't work on one of them properly so i could feel bits of it, thankfully its all over now :)
Anyways best be off, hi to everyone hope everything is good!
-
Narelle - CONGRATS! another little boy! Aiden is going to LOVE that... does Zara know that she will have another little brother?? What did she say? how are they going? better i hope!! And you too!
-
I'll just copy this in from the due in Sep Forum:
Welcome to the world Samantha (Sam) Lily!!
Born 5:13am this morning .
MBear birthed her naturally, no drugs, no tears. Went 5cm dilated to fully dilated in 20 minutes. One push and she was born. She weighed 8pounds 14 oz.
both are doing well - although mbear has a gastro bug, so is a little bit weak.
Woohoo Mbear! Congrats on the birth of Sam!! (gee you make it sound so easy...)
-------------------------
well, we have not embarked on ttc yet, so no pregnancy news yet... we will TTC next cycle (which looking at my ticker will be in 4 weeks exactly... thank God I am planning to be in London then as DH and I have been doing a long distance relationship since August with him in London and me and the kids in Switzerland... otherwise it might be hard making this next baby.
Zara is a little sunshine. She is talking heaps, new words all the time, about 60% in English and 40% in German. She does get in trouble lots though... today she smashed my mom's 500 buck porcelain dish which had sat on the cembalo but she decided to give the table cloth on top a good tug ... arrrrrrrrg... she rips pages out of books (have to hide all the non cardboard ones from her) and the other day at kindy (she started 2 mornings a week) she sat on top of a kid until that kid cried for her mom (one has to add that she is the youngest there... )... she is such a wild child.. but she makes me laugh so much and it's hard to be angry at her because she is this tiny little thing and looks so fragile and then she just acts like this big bully... such a paradox... but she certainly knows how to defend herself (I guess having an older brother who sits on you lots will do that ...)
Katie - oh wow on the plans of moving back to Oz next year! Though it will be hard being apart from DH, won't it?
Sara & Narelle - wow.,.. where has time gone! I can't believe you are almost hitting the third trimester now! Congrats on the boy, Narelle! Sara, do you know what you're having?

I just uploaded a photo onto the gallery. That works quite well, hey? Does anyone else have photos there?
-
Snowy - i put a few pics in there. Might try to upload a few more nice ones when i can be bothered.
haha, Ben's new favourite thing to do is use everything and anything as a "phone". Eg: his teddy, a pen, a lego block. And then he walks around talking into his "phone" saying "Yea, Yea... Yea, Uh huh, yea". Haha, he cracks me up.

fantastic news about mbear...welcome sam!!!
All is very well in our household. im currently 27 weeks and have been given the date of dec 3 as ceasar day...so excited.
kids are just amazing. zara is such a little lady now. loves to wear dresses and plays with barbie dolls. she really is such a easy, happy go lucky kid, whose so willing to be with us all the time. im going to miss her heaps when she's a kinder 2 days a week next year, and aiden he's such a boy. always playing trucks, cars and loves bob the builder. he loves getting dirty ALL the time but he still loves he's cuddle the best. in the morning he calls our mummy, daddy, mummy, daddy until one of us gets him up and then gives us a big kiss. it's so very cute.
zara has told us she want a baby brother so she is the only girl but maybe next time we should have a girl (DH not too sure bout #4 anymore we will wait and see). i was sure this one was another girl but was wrong. it will be nice to playmate for aiden considering they will only be 22 months apart.
i hope everyone is well. i will post personals next time.
take care narelle

Hello Ladies,
Sorry that I have been absent. We moved 2 weeks ago and are in our "own" home. The gargage is still full and hasn't been touched but that will be a slow process. Everything in the house has a home now so that's the most important thing.
Kayla is going well. She has been sick this past week with a nasty cold and conjunctivitis. Picked it up from a girl at a first birthday party we went to. I got it too, so we are both on antibiotics. Oh well, I guess you can't protect them from everything plus it will toughen up Kayla's immune system I guess. Still not nice seeing them so sick. She didn't eat for 2 days (well she had 1 pkt of saltanas and a bit of fruit). Her appetite is slowly coming back.
She is growing into a little girl now. I cut her hair yesterday (gave her a fringe) and she looks alot older.
We are on our 3rd cycle with TTC, and atm is "that" time so luckily I am feeling better ;) LOL
I hope everyone is well...................
Congratulations on the arrival of Samantha :D Looked at you photos mbear and she is gorgeous!!!
Sarah- Did you end up finding out the gender of this one or is it a suprise?'
Narelle- Wow 27weeks already. That has flown!!
Kaydee- That's sooo cute :) Kayla pretend talks on the phone and it's adorable isn't it?!
Snowy- Good Luck with TTC. We might be pregnant together.......
Teena- How are you and miss allegra?
