Just quickly girls, due Jan 16th so I am almost 10 weeks!
karlie - lol, it's the busybodies at work who look over my shoulder as they walk past.. esp since i have a pink page open!
sue - wow, enjoy shopping!! you deserve it!!
jj - ooh they will be 23mths apart!
I am due jan 26 (Aus day!). So almost 2 yrs apart. OB appointment went really well, healthy looking bub with a great little heartbeat so all looking good so far. I am 8.5 wks now and still feeling shocking. I really hope the ms passes more quickly this time, I am not sure if I can handle another 2 months of this! I usually feel sick only at night and after dinner but I threw up this morning as well, so struggling a little. I feel really bad for DD because I just don't have the energy to give her the attention I should. Poor little bub.
esme - how are you going? Do you have any news for us yet??
prama - I remember well trying to hide the pink BB page when someone came into my office at work too! A little conspicuous that what you are doing is not work related!
jen - are you having the NT scan done this time? I remember what you went through with Amber, that must have been so scary. We didn't have it done with DD and will not be having it done this time either.
karlie - DD has decided she likes climbing on tables now too! Little terrors!
sue - have a great time shopping!
Just hijacking....to say CONGRATULATIONS to Bun and Jen!!
Very happy for you both.
xx
Thanks Shoegal! How is the little man going?
Bun- Yep will be doing the NT scan qagain. We wern't going to but I think i would like to know. Hopefully this time is a little less stressful. I think the scan is July 4th. Yay on such a strong baby you have brewing. What does DH think of it all? My DH is already coming up with names!
Have a great time in melbourne Sue!
Esme- How is it all going?
Prama how are you? How is poopy?
Karlie- Maybe it is time for Amber and the big bed but I can just see her staying still in there. How are you all going up in Benders?
Sonya- I am counting down the days with you until Adam comes home. Not long now!
Ok its lunch time in our house.
Hi all!
So many posts all of a sudden! Better do some personals...
Sonya - So cute that Z has got an admirer already! Jasper's cousin (2) wants to hug and kiss him all the time, but he just pushes her away and doesn't like it one little bit. Sorry to hear you are doing it tough; hope things will improve soon for you .
Bun - Yay on the good ob appointment! Sorry to hear that ms is bothering you; it must be very hard with a toddler.
Prama - Lol, I remember listening out for footsteps in the hallway and then quickly changing the page.... not much fun if you do get caught....
Jen - Yay on being 10 weeks already! Hope you will feel better soon too. Hopefully Amber has decided that she still needs a arvo nap...
Sue - Enjoy your weekend! Do some shopping for me too please ;) I am waaayy overdue for a very good shopping spree...
Karlie - Those little ones just have no fear, do they?
Well, Jasper has started to copy a lot more sounds, so I don't think talking is too far off. He just loves playing outside, so I have bought him his first pair of wellies; he is so proud of them, it is very funny. He just learned to climb onto the lounge and loves sitting there like a big boy, but most of the time just wrestles the cushions and tries to stand up. As for me, I am 8 DPO now and was a little nauseous this morning, still not entirely sure though.... I forgot how long the 2WW really is... I am a bit in two minds about this as I am supposed to have another US on my breast before falling preggers, but clucky hormones took over from rational thinking ...
oohhh we are looking at late jan/early feb babies!!! good thing you can reuse all teh baby clothes as the weather will be the same!!
we are good.. poopy's also starting to want to climb onto things.. his little hands are going everywhere...
he can say amma (mum), papa(we taught him appa for dad, but papa is good enough!), baa for ball, sshhh for shoe. of cos mum-mum for good. zsha zsha for zara, his 'girlfriend' at day care. a lot of things are dada..and he makes a funny noise when he gets excited abt something..
esme - US, it's safe while pg, did they say it's not?
xoxoxo
Prama - Yes it is safe, but just in case they do find something again that needs treatment..
Lol, 'papa' is Dutch for dad, so just tell people he speaks Dutch!
esme - can't wait to hear if you are preggers! I am sure all will be fine at your ultrasound but I know it must always be in the back of your mind, woo hoo on Jasper making more sounds. DD now says doggy, kitty, mummy, daddy, nanny, grandad, miaow, woof, duck, quack, and makes a certain noise for more and again, although I am not sure if anyone else would understand it! Dd has become a little kamikaze baby and is constantly climbing on the couch, standing and flinging herself off and now wants to climb on everything!
jen - how are you feeling? I am just exhausted and sick all the time and it is so hard when you can't sleep when you need to! Plus we all have a cold which isn't helping.
shoegal - thanks for the congrats!!
Way to go Catherine, lots of words there Bun, you must be stoked!! Zane is going pretty good to, he is good with shoe, door, dog, toto (toast) Mum, Dada, poo but he says that when we go swimming so I'm assuming it's pool. So awesome listening to their little voices coming out.
It's official I'm utterly exhausted, I have been surving on average of 3 hours sleep a night so I'm armed with by best firend to stay the night and sleeping tablets. I know I sound like a crazy person but I'm scared Sonya has dissapeared and without sleep she will be forever awol. The thought of another baby scares me to death there is no way I could have another baby now with Ad away so much...good thing really I guess no way of concieving!!
Just a quick one, be back when I'm more lucid.
Big hugs girls...Good luck Esme.
Bun- I am tired most of the time and I am feeling most nausea in the evenings. I hardly had any nausea with DD so I am wondering if this one is a boy!
I actually had a nap with DD for the first time yesterday and woke feeling worse. So wont be doing that again!
Oh and Bun with your questions about why or why not with the NT scan from the other thread. I am getting the scan done mostly to see bubs is ok and also as bad as this sounds, I would not cope with a downs baby......
Go Esme go esme :)
hi girls.. hope ms goes away.. it's such a yukky feeling...
im not ready for a bub yet.. but will prob start trying dec/jan...
i know.. i was really scared when i had the NT scan. i'm 36 now.. so higher risk..
but not trying now, cos still coping w emotional issues (pnd) and just back at work and need to save a bit more as i have a mortgage... sigh
prama - ugh, tell me about mortgages, yuck! We have two now and of course were planning on me going back to work for a bit, so much for that! We should be able to survive though, and DH gets a bonus in Sept which will help. Definitely wait to TTC #2 once you are ready, there is no hurry. How is the PND these days, how are you feeling?
jen - I hear you on the challenges of raising a downs baby, I'm not sure if I could do it either, but DH and I made the decision that we would not terminate a downs baby so there is not much point in us having the NT done. I guess we just have to hope and trust that all is well with this little bubba. I am still feeling shocking, it gets the worst at around 5.30pm everyday until the next morning. Yuck!
Sonya - how are you going? You poor thing, it sounds like you are really struggling atm. It must be so hard having DH away for so long. I struggle too when DH is away and of course it's even worse if our bubs aren't sleeping. coming your way.
esme - any news yet??
Oh, and I forgot to list Catherine's favourite word - DOWN!! She has even started putting words together so when she wakes up in the morning and wants me to come and get her she will yell out Mummy DOWN! But she thinks down means up as well so gets a little confused sometimes...
Hi to everyone else xx
lol bun-- catherine is so cute.. that's so funny saying down and meaning up.. kids are soo cute
pnd is ok.. better than before.. but i still have my ups and downs..
i have a mortage for a house back in msia where my parents are living now. steve's paid off the mortage on the house he bought way before we got married where we are living now. but we are going to do a knock and rebuild, it's only a 2 bedroom house and it's getting pretty small with 3 of us now and will be harder w a baby. so he will need to get another loan for that.. so yeah.. we'll both be having own mortages :(
Hi Everyone,
had a lovely weekend in Melbourne thank you, next time however will probably just go with my best friend and no one else as the other girl that we went away with kind of spolied the vibe. But we did go swimming in the outdoor heated pool at 6pm Sat Night and had a lovely spa and then dinner and drinks! Bought a few things some new shoes and a couple of tops but just enjoyed some me time.
Imagine how much cash we would have to splash if we didn't have a mortgage.
Bun -- Catherine's very clever saying "down". Sophjie just yells " MAAAAAAAAAAA" when she wants to get up. he he
Bronzdbebe-- hope you have caught up on some sleep and feel a bit better. I definately could not have another bubba I think it would push me over the edge.
Well DH is in NZ till Friday and the possibly back for another week starting Sunday. The kids were shocking yesterday - all had a cold and miserable throwing tantrums left right and centre -- what a joy. Much better today.
Hello to everyone
Have a good day
Sue
Hi all!
Just a quick selfish post... So far it is looking (and feeling) good; I am pretty sure I am pregnant. I had a funny cycle last month, I don't think I o'd on the day I normally do, but 3 days later; the only day we dtd without protection... I have the feeling I am pregnant, but haven't tested yet because of chemical pregnancies in the past; I don't test until at least after AF is due to avoid disappointment. If I had had a normal cycle af would have been due yesterday and so far nothing yet, I keep having that heavy feeling down below on and off and am ravenous most of the time....
Good luck Esme :)
esme -fingers crossed for you :D
Sorry girls, won't be joining you just yet... AF showed up this morning... Hopefully more luck this month!
so sorry darling... xoxoxo
Bummer Esme! Fingers crossed for next time!
All going well here, Jordan still doesn't sleep all night a fair few nights of the week. But now, I can go in and just say " go to sleep Jordy" and he just shuts up and goes off on his own which is a huge relief for me. He probably sleeps through from 730pm till 530am about 2 times a week. He is so active and full on, I don't think he can shut himself off to sleep lol
He doesn't shut up either. He repeats the last word of any sentence you say to him, but word of the month would have to be "Doctor" he just loves saying it. I guess because we have been there so much lately might have something to do with it lol! Has the cutest voice, cracks me up.
Oh I have to ask, what dancing technique are all your LO's going with at this age? We have a side to side thing going on, sometimes a little up and down bounce, but mostly swaying when he sings along to a song !
Hi all!
Thanks girls, hopefully more luck this month!
Roquen - Jasper loves dancing; he does side to side, bopping up and down, turn around, clapping, walking on tippy toes, basically whatever he feels like doing; so cute! He loves singing 'Happy birthday' and 'Head, shoulders, knees and toes' (doing the actions). It sounds like Jordan is a really good talker. Jasper doesn't say many real words yet, altough yesterday he learned to say 'off' and was very proud of himself. He has been sleeping really well, but was awake twice last night. I am coming down with a sore throat/cold, so I suspect he has a sore throat too. Poor bub, last Sunday he had a tummy bug, lucky he was a lot better the next day. I don't like winter...
lol.. the bubs are getting so cute..
lakshman's fav words are shuuush (shoes) and zsha zsha (zara = his "gf" at daycare)
he doesnt do side to side but lots of up and down and shuffling backwards, clapping and going yaayyy.
he says other words as well (but not a lot) and is now constantly watching our lips move to try to say the words.
esme - when do you go for ur next US?
