Hello ladies.
I'd completely forgotten I'd joined here :doh: but in my defence, haven't been getting updates on posts either ;)
Ayla is walking now :dance: I'm utterly amazed that it has happened so damn quick! She took her first unassisted steps on Saturday 1st December, and started walking everywhere the following Saturday & hasn't crawled since!
She's also started 'chatting' like she's having a proper conversation. It's so cute.
We are a bit crazy around here at the moment trying to get sorted for Christmas, but getting nowhere. Left it til the last minute to get the kids present, which is a cubby, and now having problems finding one! At this stage looks like we'll be spending waaaaaaay more then we originally wanted just to get one by Christmas :doh:
How are the bubba's that were sick? Hope they are all better now, and gearing up for their first Christmas!
Anyone else having problems figuring out what to buy their bub for Christmas?

Angel will be one on Christmas day, poor little thing I wish she hadn't decided to come early
OMG Ayla is walking?? WTG sweetie!!It all just happens way too fast.
As for christmas shopping blah, we haven't even started yet either & with 5 kids to buy for plus a first birthday I am starting to panic. LOL, but we have been so busy with this move, building & all the other drama's that have happened along the way it's taken a back seat oppsie.Time to send poor DH off to the shops, if only they weren't 350k's away!!! I think he said that he was going to go on Wednesday,poor buggar so glad I'm not going to do it.
Still nothing happening on the TTC front, getting a bit impatient now LOL, it took 12 months of trying for Zaccie & Angel was the 1st go so it's bound to happen soon!!

The year seems to have flown by.
Eleanor is cutting 4 top teeth at the moment.

How's Eleanor today Michelle? did the teeth come through? Ayla has #6 just sitting up the top waiting to pop through. It looks really sore :(
Yep, Ayla is near running around now! she doesn't crawl at all :( My baby is gone :( But she is so much fun! Rhiannon has a blast with her now!
Well girls, I really just popped in to wish everyone a merry Christmas, and a safe & happy new year. I hope to get on here a little more next year and get to know you all a bit better :D

Hi all, I didn't realise there was a thread for this open!!! Aricyn was born on Jan 10th - and like previous remarks, the year has gone very quickly!!! He is still crawling, will pull himself up and everything but will not try to walk at all!!! But they say girls develop quicker than boys don't they :-) Better be off to feed the monster his dinner!!!!! (I say monster cos he has a cold and has a snot filled face.. haha!) All fun and games of course...

Hey ladies,
Its been a while (I guess everyone is busy with new year/first birthdays etc!) so I thought I'd pop in and say hi! :)
Darlie has just started walking, its so cute! And saying a few words - she picks up the phone and says "hello"!
She has been cross-cutting teeth - has just cut 2 and there are 3 more (2 top 1 bottom) coming through! Poor sweetheart, she will hardly eat.
Anyway, hope everyone is going well! Happy birthday to all the bubbas :confetti:

Mel I'm still here! Well as often as I can be with the two kiddies...
Don't know if you remember - I met you at the Brissy meetup (I was super pregnant then tho!!)
How is Aricyn going? Darlie is just learning to be a big sister at the moment, but she's doing really well. And her first eye tooth popped up yesterday without any fuss! Yay!

Aricyn has all his eye teeth - got them just before Miss M came along - but we are steadily working on the 2 year molars - and OMG - horrors!!!! I hate teething!!!
Is Darlie still being a good big sister? Aricyn has gotten much better now - not as many tantrums about having to share mummy... having two comes with a whole different set of problems hey!!!!!

Hey Mel - hmmm 2yr old molars dont sound like fun...
Darlie is still being good, but she is now waking at least once in the night again - for no apparent reason but to want mummy :( so I'm spending alot of time feeding Eva sitting on Darlie's bed! Things we have to do hey.
Glad to hear Aricyn is doing better.
Have you thought about when youre going to start TT? Darlie tells me when she needs her nappy changed now, so I've been wondering about starting sometime soon (once I get the hang of being a mum of 2 LOL!)

haha!! yeah we get the oooh poo poo - when he's done a wee :rolleyes: But he has started to pat his nappy and when asked if he wants his nappy changed, he says yes.
We were going to start over the summer - but whilst he is still screaming at his potty - might be a fair while off yet ;)
He has always woken at least once a night - so no change there for us unfortunately!! lol

well we have hit the terrible twos... :( my gorgeous little girl is gone! today she was hitting and screaming, and she does this thing where she grits her teeth and clenches her fists! Aaaaaaaggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh!
anyway... Im in Ferny Grove, which is north-west :)

I love Ferny Grove, its such a nice area!!!!
We are doing well here, I think we've been in the terrible two's for at least a year now.. lol
I think he's starting to want to use the potty now - this arvo he wouldn't let me put his nappy on him - and he peed on the rug twice and then pooed in his training pants - and all over the floor.
So I don't think I'm as keen on the toilet training as he is.. lol
How are you guys going?
