Dee, I am so sorry your Mothers Day was disappointing. I totally understand, it is such a special day and it always makes me emotional. I think it's because motherhood is the best thing I've ever done. Hopefully your DH will be more considerate next year now he knows how much it means to you. I really hope things have improved for you now.
Belinda, I hope all goes well with DHs work.
Trish, I hope you recovered from your night away.
I don't have much time and slow internet so I will copy my post from Oct bb here to update you:
We have had a lot of problems with our broadband and are now without it totally while we change providers. Also I have had two sick little boys which has meant busy days and nearly sleepless nights.
Well, it has been a busy week for us. The boys have both been sick as I mentioned. Also Thomas had some breast refusal with it. I think it's been because of his blocked nose and sore throat. DH and I now have it, and are exhausted from 3 bad nights, but at least the boys seem better today.
Also, Jack (like many others his age by the sounds of it) has now decided he doesn't need day time sleeps. This has just made my days more difficult although I am still persisting with trying to get him down. The other day he said "Jack pushing boundaries" while I was trying to get him down. He said it again the other day when he was putting clean nappies in the nappy bin so I guess he knows what it means!
Thomas is now saying Mum and Dad like a champion. I am sure he also said Thomas the other day. And yesterday he pulled himself to his feet for the first time. SIGH! There goes the very last of any spare time!!
I am starting work 2 days a week in 2 weeks so I guess that's going to kill spare time too LOL! MIL will mind both boys one day, and Tom on Thursdays as well until I can get him into day care. Jack is already in day care on Thursdays.
My sister's baby girl was due on Friday and there have been no signs of her arriving yet. I can't wait, it's the first niece/nephew on my side. And now it's just a week and a half until my other sis gets here from London and meets the boys for the first time. So I guess you could say it's all happening here!

Hello girls, looks like I haven`t been the only one MIA, just been busy and everyone has colds atm.
Well I`m now a Great Aunt and OMG I feel so old..... Lots and lots of complications as usual at this hospital, they seem to push things to the limit but bub is here thank goodness, she only weighs 5lb 10ozs and 46cms long but that was expected because of the 'lifestyle' my niece lives. My niece had a pph after birth, had to have a d & c and has lost a lot of blood and they put a balloon up there to stop the bleeding (sound similar to someone else you all know ;)). I`m not going in to see them until tomorrow afternoon as I know how tired she will be.
Otherwise apart from the illness we all have everything is fine, oh Matthew had his first cry at preschool the other day when Mummy was leaving but it didn`t last long.
Hope your all well.
Take Care
Dee

Dee, I hope you all get better soon. It's not fun, is it. When everyone is sick you know about being the only female in a house of males LOL! Congratulations on being a great aunt. I hope your niece recovers quickly from her awful experience.
Well, we are still waiting for my niece to be born. My sister is now 9 days over due and there's no signs of anything happening. She has been booked in to be induced on Tuesday. She knows that this can start a chain of interventions and didn't want one, but know she is just so over being pg and has a bad back and hip pain so atm thinks it's the lesser of two evils so to speak. The poor thing - I went into labour on the night after Jack was due and I can't imagine going any longer.
I just booked a flight down to Melbourne to meet my niece in Aug (for my mum's birthday). After debating whether to take just Tom or both boys, we have now decided that I will go on my own and Glenn will look after both boys (just for one night). This way I get a night off so to speak - someone else can feed Tom in the night. I express easily and he drinks from a cup. I will still find it hard leaving the boys, but hopefully I'll enjoy the break and getting to sleep through the night. It's just a shame the boys won't get to meet their cousin just yet.
We are slowly recovering. Not 100% yet but better than we were. Poor Tom ended up needing antibiotics - and that's with his BM immunity!
Jack's day time sleeps are hit and miss atm - he had one today but not yesterday.

Hey girls
Mason had a great birthday on Saturday, my parents have booked accomodation not far away from us on the water so we stayed there for the weekend and had a little party for him across at the water, he enjoyed himself and his wiggles cake lol
As DH is now sub contracting i am learning everything i can about keeping books so we can write off all that we need too etc and know what we are doing, but also might look into how much it costs to see an accountant a few times a year, over the year it might work out not that expensive, i have no clue
otherwise busy busy with the kids and budgeting, have to make a weeks wage last 2 weeks! wish me luck

Good luck Belinda!
I am so excited, my sister finally had her baby late last night. She was 11 days overdue and laboured all day, in hossy from 3am and in fact the labour started Sat night but then stopped Sunday arvo before starting again Sunday night. But bub was posterior and she ended up having a c-section. She is dissapointed about that but we are all thrilled that her beautiful little girl, Elise Ainsleigh, is finally here and all are well. My other sis who lives in London was in Melbourne so has seen the baby now (and she saw my sis in labour yesterday). She is coming up here to stay for a week from tomorrow and will meet my boys for the first time. So lots of excitement.
We are still battling the tail end of these colds but doing much better than before. And Jack has had his day sleep for the last 3 days.

I'm still here. Sick chooky though for the last three weeks - gastro then a cold. We're nearly back on track though....
-
I'm still here too :)
Violet kept me up half the night last night... I eventually put her on one couch and I slept on the other!! Had a weird dream about driving Alecia to her new school with my Mum and Dad down back streets and alleys that had crates and boxes blocking the way... hmmmm?
Anyway Violet was complaining of a sore ear *sigh* I hope it's nothing... she seems happy enough now? She is very strange... she could be sick as a dog but the only time you would know about it was at night. I am going to be rats#1t when this baby comes... I just hope any episodes that occur during the night coincide together.
Anyway...
Belinda, how cute Cooper is crawling... backwards. Hehe
Fi, how are you my dear? All going well I hope :) How are Hamish's ears?
Sarah, I hope you get better very soon!!

Hello everyone. I just have no time nowadays.
We had a shocker last night too. Tom woke up every hour (except instead of waking at 4, he woke at 3:30, then at 5, so I did get one block of an hour and a half). He only fed at 1 and 5, the rest of the time he just needed resettling. He got his two top front teeth on Friday and now has a runny nose. So I'm not sure if the wakings were more teeth or bcos he's sick. It's so hard to tell.
Jack is starting to get disturbed by Tom in the night. SOmetimes not long after a Tom waking, Jack comes into our room. Sometimes now he will sleep in our bed without moving about too much, other times he's like he always was, unable to keep still. He has started the "questions" phase. Even if he knows the answer he has to ask - "what is it" "what happened to it" "where does it hurt" "what is that for" "where are we going" "why" etc etc. Please tell me this is a short phase!
-
LOL at all the questions, we're not quite there yet, but getting close. Now why though!
Yeah I had a pretty bad cold & it's virtually gone now. Just waiting waiting waiting to find out if I'm down reg-ing or pregnant LOL!
-
I`m still here too - just been slack!!!!
Belinda and Fi - thank you for thinking of us, our farm was flooded and quite a bit of damage to it, most will not be covered by insurance due to flood damage  The pastures are all ruined so very little in the way of feed left for the cows, we will get there, our house is fine as most of the houses in this area are up on high land and the farms are down lower near the Hunter River. You had to see it to quite believe how bad it all was, it`s quite amazing now looking at the trees and thinking you couldn`t even see them during the flood, it`s hard to imagine even though I saw it all with my own eyes!!!
Belinda - How cute of Cooper crawling backwards.
Melinda - HOw cute with all the questions.
By the sounds of things quite a few of us had a bad night last night, well my life is full of bad nights but last night was just extra bad, Adrian woke every 30 minutes between 9.30pm and 1am then from 1am till 3.40am he was awake, he finally settled so I could get some sleep then he woke again at 6am. Tonight doesn`t look any better, he went to bed at 8.30pm, up at 9.10pm and I`ve only just managed to resettle him now after lots of crying.
Matthew is well, although I think he`s coming down with a cold, he keeps coughing but nothing else so far, hopefully it`s just a cough. He`s loving preschool and is now quite happy for Mummy to go without any tears, he had his school photos yesterday, looking forward to seeing them.
Adrian is going through a real lovely stage, he`s really bonding to Matthew now, it`s so beautiful to watch, Matthew loves sharing everything with Adrian (even his own food), Adrian still isn`t crawling properly (just commando) but is now getting up onto his knees and will stand if we stand him up, he`s quite talkative and can say Mum, Dad, moo, car, cat, boo, fish, plus tries to say a number of other words which he hasn`t quite got yet.
-
Awww Dee, I hope getting some feed in for the cattle isn't too much hassle... LOL at you saying Adrian isn't sleeping well then saying he is going through a real 'lovely stage'... hehe the ups and downs, hey!!?? What is bugging Adrian andyway?
Melanie, I hope it's a short phase at your place... I hope it doesn't last too much longer at my place... DP and I have had enough!! We are both veeery tired!
Violet is having a sleep on the couch atm... she has been such a sook today!! I hope she was just tired!
Tanya
-
Dee: glad to see everyone is ok, shame about the other stuff, hope it all comes together soon, YAH for what Adrian can say
Melanie: hope your nights get better
Tanya: hope Violet feels better soon and doesnt keep you awake too many nights
Sarah: fingers crossed
My kids have had us up most nights lately, both are teething!
Just done a battle with Cooper but i won i think! he so hates going to sleep now, so fights it for hours, being a nightmare, during the day i just leave him in the cot and he carries on for a little while then gives up, but when DH is around he knows he can play him like a fiddle lol, so he is so much worse
Mason is hopefully going to daycare tommorow, he hasnt been since the week before last due to public holidays and him teething, so will have to resettle him in again, thinking of changing his day from monday, as we get every public holiday and still have to pay for the days, qld has so many holidays!

Just reading along...life for us is good at the moment. Eliza has made enormous bounds in her speech and speaking better than some others of the same age...yes why why why was I so bothered by it...dunno I am a mother ;). Her favourite trick is to be in bed and yell Eliza Sick Eliza Sick well that is the button pusher for me and off I grab her to check..lol most times there is no sick.
DH is my babywhisperer and is still getting her to sleep which is all good for me and popping around to see friends is good again rather than having to go to bed at 7.30pm. We are finally going to put her into a bed this weekend, after yesterdays subtle suggestion to Eliza if she wanted to go to the toliet and she went to the bathroom and pulled her pants and nappy off and climbed up on the seat and sat there..no wee so I shouldnt get too excited but the thought process was so it shouldnt be long.
Guee have too much to say for once..I am still working part time and Eliza goes to Daycare 2 days a week she loves it...I am lucky it is one of the best centres here and the staff are wonderful and she loves them too.
Tanya: Ohh poor thing with no sleep~my week was a killer so I cant imagine what it would be like pregnant as well.
Dee: Glad not too much damage was done and well done for the great speaking it would be so lovely to see the boys being so interactive together, the advantage of having 2 close together.
Belinda: Erghh teeth, hope your days and nights get better too.
Sarah: Hope all is going good with you, damm waiting game thou
Trish: Glad to hear the little one is growing away, it is amazing how quickly pregnancys go on here wish they would in real life lol.
Fi: I'll prob talk to you before you log on lol
Well work day today, it is amazing how a house can be thrown in to chaois when Eliza hides mummys keys and laughs hysterically..it would of been funny if my work keys and I was the only one to open up today 30 minutes late with borrowed keys from another practice..guee how would I ever cope with 2
