LOL @ Tehya and her shoe fetish. Uno it's serious when she sleeps in them! How scary with her spew in the car. My goodness her little tummy must hate motion. Poor thing. You reminded me that I still have 1 present to buy. I hope Gabby is feeling up to going to the shops tomorrow. I wouldn't mind buying Neil a couple of presents too. I don't care if I don't get any. It'll be nice to surprise him.
Sounds like a plan waiting until March to decide about day care. Sounds like she'd really love it tho!
We're travelling along ok... tho I wish I could push Christmas back a couple of days. I just want Gab feeling 100% so that travelling doesn't set her back. Still have a couple of days for her to recover I suppose.
I wrote in the punching bag about one of her presents. So spewing because it was the one present I was really looking forward to her having. Grrr!
I've just figured out how to record from my VCR to our DVD burner so I've had all the hours of footage of Gab recording onto the hard drive so I can burn it all to disc. It'll be great having it all on DVD rather than video cassette (since all of that is being outdated slowly but surely anyway).
Sorry Simone... posting at the same time... I hope Xander is ok. How scary. Hope you're not sitting at the hospital for too long. Hugs!
-
Simone, don't you know your supposed to wrap as you go ;) Says me who still has a fair bit to do.
Hoping that Xander doesn't get any worse for you. Is he astmatic ?? I have my own nebuliser that I would pull out and use when the boys were little for their asthma. Maybe you need to grab one, saves on a lot of hospital visits if you can have a good home management plan.
Aren't you lucky, AF for Christmas. That's ok. I get AF for New Year ;)
ETA, Oh Deb you are a clever chook. We don't even own a damn video camera :( I sooo want one.
I already know what I am getting from Mark so no suprises there as usual. Still, atleast I know I like it.
Really hoping that Gab bounces back quick for you. It is amazing though how resilient these little ones can be. They can be so sick and still manage a smile.
Read your post about Gab's present, what a right PITA. I wouldn't be happy about that either. I guess another thing to be glad of is that she's stilll little enough not to really notice what she didn't get. kwim.
Mark made me hold onto Tehya's quad I got her until her birthday. I also got her a little 3 wheeler so she will be happy with that. She loves bikes. Little tomboy she is. Yeah, with her pink shoes. PMSL.
-
No AF for meeeeee! Nerrrr!
But I can't drink.... POO!
-
Ner Ner, I can get p!ssed. LOL. Mark went and got me a case of Cruisers today :P
I've had 3 pregnancies over Christmas so about time I got one I can drink through :)
-
Yeah... fair enuf ;)
Neil had a 6 pack of those Cougar Zero's last night. They're his new favourite drink. They better still be around by the time I can drink again!! LOL
-
OH I haven't seen those. Get drunk and watch the figure. Good on them.
Still can always have a bourban with Diet Coke.
I love Wild Turkey if I'm going to have a bourban, I think it's much smoother. But then again, it's also more expensive :(
-
I would rather AF and drinking deb ner ner ner :P
I havent wrapped anything, i sent mum and dads pressies to the opposite and asked them to wrap them and give them to the right person chrissy day - i couldnt find any sticky tape and needed to send them off (they live in perth)
I used to have a nebuliser - mums. But As my sister is a really bad asthmatic i had to leave it in perth when we moved over here, and i cant afford to buy one - we're barely paying the rent and car atm. I havent even done a food shop yet...
Looks like when DH finally calls we will be going, he cant even speak a sentence without stopping to have to take a breath.
ETA DH just called, he tried to catch a train and fell asleep, so now i have to wait for him to catch a train back (i have no idea which train station he is at, so cant pick him up) and he doesnt know how long he will be... and when i get angry he starts having a go at me!! He's an agro drunk, and i hate it.
-
I've always said they should do pre-mixed cans with diet coke. Trust them to bring them out when I get pregnant!! LOL
I find that the other pre-mixes make me feel icky because of the cola... waaaayyyy too much sugar.
LOL @ the Wild Turkey... gotta have the good stuff, hey?
I'll drink whatever bourban is cheap! ;)
How frustrating Simone. Hope he gets home soon!
-
my fav drinks are canadian club, malibu and good ole vodka (for a cheaper night out on the town!!) but my absolute fav is this strawberry licquer my mum gets from Margaret Rive in WA from "The Berry Farm" its proper and its delicious...mmmm.... if i didnt have to pick up dh, i would've had some by now!!
-
Simone, have you atleast got a ventolin puffer there ?? I have inhalers here (for me) but when Noah had a bad cold and was really wheezy my Dr told me to give hima couple of puffs morning and night with a spacer. With an asthmatic in the house and being one myself these are things that you really need to have at all time. It's amazing how quick it can all go down hill with asthma.
Sorry, hope it didn't sound like a lecture.
And grrrr at DH for being a DH !!!
Deb, I like to have a turkey in a tall glass. Tastes so good and lasts that bit longer. Hmm spewing now that when my gf asked what we wanted for Chrissy I said nothing. Should have said a bottle of Turkey !!! Gobble Gobble :D
-
Hi gals. Thanks for all the welcomes. I hope the sick littlies all get better really soon. And the drunk hubbies make their way home!! Give him heaps Simone!!
I was still bfing when I fell pg with Tom so it's been a long time since I've really been able to drink too. In fact this will be my 3rd Xmas in a row.
All is well here but I'm really tired so off to bed now. Tom woke 3 times last night. Thank goodness Jack sleeps through!
Merry Christams all.
-
Declan and Anneliese both dot sleep through th night, Anneliese wakes up twice for a feed most nights, and Declan wakes about 3-4 and wanders into our room, screaming as he goes past anneliese's room... and even bringing him into bed with me wont shut him up (i generally put him back into his bed and bring xander into our rom (the boys share) as at least xander will sleep, declan just scream...)
Trish, i used the last of my puffer the other day when i almost had an attack after running after GML's dog that got out... old ladies shouldnt have kelpies as house pets!! And im doing to drs next week for annelese's immu's, so i was just going to get a script then, i wasnt expecting to need one, as xander has been realy good lately... always the way!! And yes, a few puff of ventolin through a spacer is as good as a nebuliser, but Declan dropped our spacer a while ago, and i cant afford to replace... the joys of being broke!!
-
What a PITA Simone. Always the way. I used to run out of Ventolin when I lived at my old house but it was ok as mum only lived 6 houses away.
Now that we live a whole 7 minute (if that) car drive away I have to maek sure I have them. If I'm going to need it you can bet your butt it's in the middle of the night.
Melanie, hope you get a decent nights sleep hun. Tehya still doesn't sleep through, she wakes 2 to 3 times every single night and has always done so. Not 1 full nights sleep yet. Hope you have a nice chrissy sweety :)
-
im so p!ssed at dh....
Ihave xander sitting in my lap, just pressed my ear t his back and i can hear the wheeze... damn, and i was looking forward to a good sleep tonight...
-
Simone - hope you went ok last night with Xander. I saw in the Vic thread that you ended up going to the hospital. Hope it was a short visit!
I'm just waiting for my nausea to subside then Gab and I are gonna brave the shops in Hammo. Surely it can't be too bad? Small country town and all? Gulp. Gotta get a few things at the supermarket, some gifts for Neil and a present for Paige.
Gab still isn't super healthy but I reckon she'll be ok for a couple of hours. Might do her the world of good to get out of the house. She's watching Wiggly Safari for the 14th time... she adores the Wiggles. Lauren is getting her another Wiggles DVD for Christmas... how exciting!
-
Deb, good to hear that Gab is doing better this morning. Hopefully the shops aren't too bad for you. Although, given that there aren't many shops around there ..... I so would not cope in a small town. LOL.
Simone, hoping that Xander is doing ok this morning at that the hosp trip wasn't too bad (as far as they go).
Had a shocker with Tehya. Got to bed around 11pm and she was awake by 11.30 and muck around for ages, she was in my bed just tossing and turning until she fell out. LOL. that will teach her to stay still ;) She went back to sleep sometime after 12am. Then up again at who know's what tim, then for good by just after 6am. Come on kid it's the weekend.
She is busy riding Mark's butt at the moment. Atleast she is leaveing me alone. Have so much cleaning and sorting out to do. Oh joy !! Now I know why I'd rahter Christmas elsewhere ;)
-
Hey girls..lol what you do when you are at work and bored
Simone: What a pain Ryan is ...for gods sake why do you have to get ****ed that much that you forget all responsibilties. We have a rule that atleast one of us has to be sober if Eliza is in the house..even tho we live in the same st as the hospital someone has to make sence to the doctors. I'm going to check the Vic thread hope everything is ok.
Deb: Poor little Gab..Wiggley Safari was Elizas favourite in hospital, 2 weeks later Steve died and we had to buy it. We know have every wiggles DVD known to man..Nick and his getting SETS of things gives me the iricks. Good luck shopping hope the MS passes and it is a joyful experience lol
Trish: Oh Teh sounds like Eliza, Nick said to me the other day are you worried that she is in love with cars and tractors ..lol which reminds me Santa needs to bring a car or truck or tractor lol. Hmm good luck with the cleaning hmm yup I gotta go home and do mine. It woulkd be ok if another mess wasnt being created while I cleaned the other. I was walking on sticky floors last night and thought it can wait till I mop the house.
Melanie: Hope you get some rest..that has always been my worry of having another no more sleep thru's.
OK OK last night and night before and the night before that..we have been putting Eliza down without too much fuss although I had a 5am wake up yesterday but this morning I had to wake her cause Nick refuses to give her breakfast ( cause mushy weatbix makes him hurl) Its not worth the fight. I found she had had a vomit last night all hot chips..I had to work last night till 7pm so I think her father decided to feed her chips as a nutrious meal..I told him I have friends that are divorced and it doesnt worry me to join them lol he is very co-operative this morning changing sheets and washing before I left.
I had a few drinks last night with my girlfriend as it was her boyfriends birthday, the night flew and before I knew it it was 12 .. a tad tired today.
Lots of people trying to fit big things in small cars..I work in a shopping centre where KMart is so it is amusing this time of year..lots of domestics and screaming kids.
Be back later as I am still bored lol:lol:
Bec
-
Hey all, updated some photos.
Child crying, boobies leaking - gotta go! :D
-
LOL... I love this darting in and out, Fi ;) Love the photo of Jenna and Hamish together. Jenna looks so BIG!! hehehe
Bec - god you make me laugh. LOL @ not minding joining your divorced friends for giving Eliza hot chips. Guess he was caught red-handed when she puked them up! I can picture just how feral it is around kmart.... I SO don't miss Christmas time there! Tell Nick to grow up and give Eliza her breakfast!! Silly boy! I'm not a fan of mushy weetbix either but I still have to deal with it every morning. Geeeeez! ;)
Trish - sorry you had yet another crappy night :( I agree... weekends should be exempt from children not sleeping. Sometimes ya wanna hit that pause button!
The shopes were'nt too bad. Not as feral as they would have been in Geelong. Got Neil a fishing rod and reel (and some hooks n' sinkers etc.). I have NFI about fishing so I got someone to pick everything out for me. I found Gabby some cute little black shoes to wear on Christmas day so they'll be another present under the tree. Also grabbed some stocking fillers (some cashews and swiss chocolate for Neil... block of choccy for me ;) and some bits n' pieces for Gab's stocking). I decided that bacon and egg muffins are the go for breakfast on Monday morning so grabbed all the stuff for them too!
Oh.. Gabby now says "Dorothy". In an American accent!! PMSL
-
Just popping in quickly girls to wish you all a very Merry Christmas, not sure if I`ll get time tomorrow to pop in so thought I`ll do it now :D
I had organised for my Dad to look after Matthew this morning so I could wrap presents without him trying to help Mummy, I gave Dad the wrond child, Adrian was a devil only slept for 10 minutes and for the rest of the time he was just so unsettled not like him at all, he`s having a nap now so hopefully it`ll last for more then 10 minutes, Matthew is down too so perhaps I should get off here and into the wrapping.
A little woohoo Adrian rolled for the first time yesterday, 2 weeks earlier then Matthew did :D but Mummy missed it as the phone rang so I put him down on the floor just before bedtime so Daddy and I could see his latest trick but what happened, Mummy remembered I had to make Matthew`s bed and guess what I missed Adrian rolling again and so did Mark.
Fi - LOve the photos of your little man
Another one here who has AF for Christmas, first one since my lochia stopped so I went a bit longer this time then I did with Matthew where I got AF back after 8 weeks, which was fine by me then as we were TTC but this time it could have stayed away a bit longer.
Sorry for no personals I better get cracking
-
Ohh forgot to say me too has nasty AF too..Thanks Santa just what I wanted
Fi: OMG what a big Foot he has !! Poor little man flashing all that tackle to the world :)
-
Trish, I can't believe Tehya still doesn't sleep through for you. You must be so looking forward to an uninterrupted night's sleep. I"m so glad Jack's a good sleeper coz Tom's really not. Last night was every 2 hours - aagghh, so tired today and so much to do. Hopefully it's just a 12 week growth spurt and will pass.
Must go and do some shopping.
-
Geez... u guys must all be following the same cycle or something... LOL.
Dee- bugger @ AF coming back so soon. Doesn't she know that BFing means she's not welcome? Yay for Adrian rolling! Clever monkey.
Melanie - every two hours? Yuk. Makes it hard to get back to sleep each time. Gabby has been crying out just as I drift off to sleep lately. Gives me a heart attack each time. I keep reminding myself that she's not well...... getting very trying tho.
The snot seems to have slowed down but Gab still has a cough and a slight crackle in her chest. I've kept her rugged up today to try and stop the cold air from making the croup come back. She has her last dose of prednisilone tonight... thank goodness. She's over meddi.
-
Melanie - we are hoping we dont go through that too. Luckily we had the devil child first, so anything is an improvemnet ;) I pity the parents that had the good child first!!
Bec - He has HUGE feet! And what a big noo-noo too ;) We are still deciding if we get the snip done or not. I have to say I'm thinking no - he is really becoming my little boy. Shane is shocked how attached I am to him compared to Jenna when she was this age.
Deb - great you got all your shopping done. We finished ours today too for all the Christmas day ones, and now we can wait til the post chrissie sales to get all the NZ ones which is good :) Hope Gabby is feeling bettertonight.
Yay for Adrian Dee - what a clever little man. Bummer you missed it - althoughI expect you will catch it soon. AF huh? I'm thinking this time mine will come back soon too, after Jenna it was about 8 w after lochia too I think. Some people have all the luck. So onto the pill for you??
Fi
-
Fi, Hamish looks like a little frog in the bath, all limbs. Funny how big their balls and doodle look on them hey. So are you used to changing a boys nappy ?? Which do you prefer. I say a boys is easier but I guess it's just because I have changed so damn many of them. Tehya has the same pjs as Jenna does in the pic of Hamish and her. Cute aren't they.
Deb, good to hear that the shops weren't too bad and that you managed to get it all done. LOL at the American "dorothy" too. Very cute.
Bec, I had to LOL at you threatening divorce too, good on you girl. Don't you hate it when you find them in a bed full of spew, poo is worse though, trust me. I saw a lady the other day get out this monster laybuy then try and pack it into her car. I wonder if she managed to get it all. Still it was a waman so probably ;)
Melanie, Hope you got your shopping done today. You don't want to have to go tomorrow. Sorry you had a crappy night lastnight too. Heres to a better night for both of us tonight.
Dee, yay on Adrian rolling over, what a clever little man. Bummer that you missed it though, but he will do it hundreds more times now. He's growing up way too fast by the sounds of it.
OK, AF you need to elave all of the lovely women alone. We don't want or need Af over Christmas, unless it's for someone like me who needs reassurance that she isn't pg. Not that I do of course. HEHE. You need to do something to make babies.
We had a semi busy day, still cleaning to be done, but I didn't see the point doing it all today when by tomorrow it will all be trashed again. We did give the kitchen a good clean though. Oh and Mark did the back lawn, that takes a whole 20 minutes and that's doing the edges as well. LOL. Upside of a small yard I guess.
-
Trish - I'm the same. I was going to vacuum and thought; "Why?". Gabby's just gonna trash it again tomorrow. I'll vacuum before she goes to bed tomorrow night so it's nice for Christmas morning.
Just finished wrapping all the presents. Went with a red theme this year. The last 2 years have been gold. Over that. My sisters and I all choose a colour and go with it. Always makes the pressies under the tree and Mum's place look awesome! Yes... we are hopeless ;)
Ooo can't wait until Chrissy morning! I have to wake Gabby up at 6:30 when Neil gets home from work so that we can do the present thing, have breaky then he can go to bed. Hopefully it won't throw her too far out of whack (she woke up at that time this morning so I don't think it'll kill her.... it'll kill me tho ;) ).
-
I'm hoping the kids will sleep in as late as possible. ALthough I do remember when Joel and Brandon were little me waking them on Christmas morning. I was too excited :) They were good kids and slept good for me. Not like the next 2 horrors, I told Mark they get it from him. I like to sleep too when I can.
I still haven't finished wrapping my pressies. Mark said he will take the kids out for a few hours tomorrow so I can finish them off instead of having to do them tomorrow night.
Silly Mark let Joel go out when i was having anap on the lounge earlier. The boy is supposed to be grounded after last weeks efforts. Of course Joel just told him he was going around the corner to the local shop, that was at 7 pm. Very cranky mummy here once again.
-
Xander came home tonight, he's still not great, but no point in keeping him in when i can treat him at home. He's on ventolin (was every 4 hours, but he started getting really bad playing with declan so i've gone back to hourly and going from there) And the pred that gabby was on. I alway have that stuff around, if they get wheezy i give it straight away and most times it settles them down... only got 3 hours sleep last night, and so tired now, but just cant sleep... no personal tonight, sorry girls, but have to say...
Fi - that boy of yours is so long!! but he's gorgeous :D makes me all clucky again LOL
Off to bed now, talk to you all later...
But if i dont get a chance, Merry christmas!!
-
Boys much easier to change Trish. I've only been wee'd on 3 times now, which I spose is good! Bloody Joel - little ratbag. Or is it Bloody Mark?? eithr way - men huh??
Deb - sounds like chrissy morning will be a blast for you..... maybe?? Neil will cope with the lack of sleep, as long as you guys give him a wide berth for a few hours after the event. And as for cleaning - well I cleaned last night while Shane sat cuddling. Oh - and I cooked dinner at the same time. Amazing what us women can do? Also cleaned the toilet and took Jenna out Christmas shopping. I tried to tell Shane that lactating mothers are supposed to be resting, but I dont think he cared!
Simone - I dont know how you can be clucky when you are dealing with all the sickness!!!! Poor thing. Hopefully Christmas will bring you a nice change of it all. Have you been a good girl ;)
-
Yeah Fi you have to watch out for that spout. Remember to have a nappy ready to through over his do do when you change that bum. Can't forget to lift up his balls too, poo is good for hiding under there ;)
I had a go at Mark and reminded him that Joel was grounded, apparently he didn't know. I msged Joels mate and he came home around 11 ish.
Tell Shane to get of his butt and start helping out some more. Your the one that just gave birth.
Simone, hopig that Xander is doing better today and that he's feeling good enough for Christmas day :)
OMG!!!!! Tehya just took herself and went for a wee on the potty. YAY all by herself. Finally we got one. I was sitting here posting when she ran off (she's naked) and sat on the pot. Noah called out to us that Tehya had done a wee. WOOHOO, hopefully we are finally on the way.
-
Trish - nordy Joel using Mark to get away with getting out of the house. The kid's not silly, hey? YAYYYYYYY for Tehya weeing on the potty!! Clever girl!
Simone - Glad Xander is home but I'm sorry you're not getting much sleep :( I can sympathise to a degree but I don't have 2 other kids to worry about too. Must be tough. Hope he's fighting fit tomorrow so that you can all enjoy Chrissy. Anneliese's first Christmas! How exciting!
Fi - Shane loves cuddling bubbas, doesn't he? Perhaps to get out of housework?? ;) I must say tho... you seem so much more.... confident... rested.... at ease this time round? It's great! Leaves hope for me!! LOL Looking forward to your Mum getting there? Was it tough not having her there for the birth this time? I'm thinking about not having my Mum there next time. I think I'd rather her look after Gabby. Is that mean?
We're taking it easy today. Gabby slept wonderfully last night! She only woke once at 4:30am for her dummy. Straight back to sleep until 9am!! OMG! Heaven! I'm glad too. I want to try and keep her awake today and put her to bed early (like 5:30-6pm??) so that waking her up early won't upset her too much. Or do you think I'm planning everything out too much?
My sister (Hanna) just messaged me and said that Erin is being difficult because she's meant to be having Christmas lunch with her fiance's family aswell. Urrgh! We only planned to have lunch at Mum's like 2 months ago! Anyway... I'm trying to get them to push lunch back a couple of hours so that I have more time to get down there... hehehehe ;) Cheeky, ain't I? Don't think it's gonna happen tho.
-
Fi - I have been wondering if the fire hose has got you yet :D I`m not going on the pill, I don`t like the pill at the best of times but Mark has said once I stop BFing I have to go on the pill, he doesn`t like condoms and neither do I but it`s the best method at the moment until I`m ready for #3 Hmmm men hey, I can relate to it, Mark is the same. Fi re your comment about having an angel child first, Matthew was one of those we thought Adrian would be a devil but it seems he`s so much like Matthew in personality maybe even more content if that`s possible.
Deb - Yay for Gabby sleeping so well. I agree Fi does sound so much better but I have to admit I feel like a different mother second time round too, everything is a lot easier.
Simone - Great to hear Xander is at home, hope he`s feeling much better tomorrow for the man in red.
Trish - Yay for Tehya, very clever girl.
I can`t believe there`s so many of us with AF we must be all in sync with each other.
I`m feeling exhausted, have done so much today by the time I finished it was 7pm and still hadn`t thought about tea, times like this it would be nice for a husband to cook, had no idea what to have felt like just having toast but couldn`t do that with MIL here, I got there in the end.
Have had problems with Matthew and his allergies in the last few days, he came down with hives yesterday and on Thursday, I`ve never seen hives quite like it, when his allergies blow up they do it in a big way.
Take Care Girls and Merry Christmas from our family to yours, have a good one and enjoy your little one`s 2nd Christmas and for some of us their first Christmas.
-
Oh gosh, Dee. Hives would be scary. I hope Matthew is ok for tomorrow? Sounds like you've been running around like a chook. Hope you can get some R&R tomorrow. Glad to hear that you've also found Mummy 2nd time round a bit easier. Keep the reassurance comin' girls ;)
My Mum said the same. Apparently I was a good baby but Lauren was even better (typical!). It was Mum's 3rd that was a horror. She was unwell (lactose intolerant, bowel probs etc.). Mum reckons if she had Hanna first she wouldn't have had any more kids!! LOL She also reckons Hanna should have been her baby because Erin came out knowing and doing everything at lightening speed... she grew up really quickly.
I should be getting to bed soon. Have to get up at 6am. Prrrray I don't vomit!! LOL
Hope everyone has an awesome Christmas. Please stay safe and well. Can't wait to hear about how the kiddies went for their second Christmas. I imagine they'll be more clued on than they were last year!
Those of you that can drink... have one for me!! hehehe
-
Good morning and Merry Christmas to you girls and babies.
Santa got to bed around 12 ish here only for Tehya to wake up not long after and stay awake for about 40 minutes. Noah was up very early, like before 6 am yet we have still managed to keep him from opening any presents. Wanted to wait until Tehya woke up. She's awake now but I'm having breakfast.
Deb, I will be sure to have a drink for you today, or 5 ;) Mark got me a case of Cruisers Yummy.
Dee, hope Matthew is doing ok and is feeling better for today too :)
Praying that the rain stays away today. With nearly 30 people coming here I don't want them all trapsing through my house.
:D MERRY CHRISTMAS :D
-
Deb - The hives are a scary business but not as scary as the egg allergy where I have an epi pen on hand in case Matthew comes in contact with egg.
Trish - your going to be one tired girl by the end of the day, have a drink for me too :D
Hope everyone is having a great Christmas, I thought I`d pop on while the two boys are asleep and Mark is away Milking the cows and before the onslaught of SIL and her tribe of 6 kids.
We`ve had a great day, Matthew was a bit confused about his santa bag, he wanted Mummy to go through it but he did it in the end, Santa brought him lots of books, he loves books and I believe a child can`t have enough hence the children`s library we seem to have LOL, he also recived a plane, clothes, table and chairs, a big red tractor (just like Daddy`s), his main present was an outside play gym. Adrian received clothes (not as many as Matthew as he has all Matthew`s hand me down`s), musical toys, books, a 2006 KMart Teddy Bear, now I can`t think of what else he got but you get the general idea.
I`m feeling like it`s midnight, I`ve been awake at 5.30/6am the last 4 mornings and it`s wearing it`s toll on this poor old body, perhaps Adrian might let me sleep in tomorrow.
It was drizzling again here this morning but now the sun is out and it`s blowing a gale Grrrr
Hope your having a fantastic day :D
-
Merry christmas. Crap day, just the usual family bullsh*t... about to post in the punching bag. Hope everyone had a good day!! (It was hailing, raining and blowing a gale where we were (out in Sunbury) Saw 2 accidents on the way out, and 1 on the way back. Idiots...)
-
MERRY CHRISTMAS.....well as merry to all you. Mum got rushed to hospital today with chest pains and nausia...she is in critical care :(
Hope Santa was good..been along day apparently IL's expect the same level of hospitality even when your mum is ill
Bec

Dee, yep your right, very tired here. Sounds like the boys did nicely. I hope you got a chance to get some rest too sweety. Those early mornings are a killer, especially combined with broken sleep.
Simone, hope your day got better hun. Try to forget all of the BS and just enjoy your day :hugs:
Well I have survived the big day. Big is an understatement too. I think we had Melbourne weather today, was raining this morning, sunny by lunch/afternoon, then cooling off now with a breeze happening.
Tehya is bathed and in bed now, absolutely exhausted, she had a fantastic day, but of course no naps were hap. I think she got a bit overwhelmed with thte whole unwrapping presents and by the time my parents and family got here she just was not interested in any more unwrapping so I did most of her's as did Brandon and Noah.
We now officailly need a bigger house, I don't know where on Earth I am going to fit all of these presents. I am trying to get as much stuff out of boxes as possible as that takes up the space.
Tehya loves her baby Chou Chou, she has been carrying it around and when it cries she goes running to give her a kiss or cuddle or a bottle. LOL, very sweet. She has aslo taken a liking to her dollies playpen, Tehya fits in it nicely :)
Noah is stoked with all of his presents and the big boys loved their phones and the xbox 360.
My mummy spoilt me with a new Kenwood food processor, a nighty, choccies andsome bath things. Big brother got me some lovely perfume (can't remember what it's called and not getting off my butt to check it) little bro and gf got me some nice frangipani stuff (frame with clock and some candles). Mark got me the new Robbie CD (can't believe I am going to say that it's crap though) and my Pink ticket, and my grandfather got me some new clothes and shoes. Marks parents got us some gorgeous Esprit bath towels, there white though so don't think I will be sharing them with Mark. Oh and a new box of loo paper and cleaning products (mark asked her). GF got me some lovely candles and a little plate for them to go on. So I don't think I did too bad. I'm sure I missed out on something but too tired to remember.
Looking forward to a hot bath and some sleep although I know Mark is hoping for a bit. Damn, Santa's work still isn't done.

Bec - just IGNORE your IL's i did :D i walked out on our christmas because of them!! wHY CAN THEY BE MORE THOUGHTFUL?? OURS WAS MARRED BY STUPID ACTIONS, BUT IF YOUR MUM'S IN hospital FOR F*CKS SAKES, WHY CANT THEY BE A LITTLE MORE UNDERTSANDING?? (Sh*t, i cant be bothered rewriting all that, i have to get off now and go to the sales!!) swap the uppercase for lowercase and visa versa!!)
MErry christmas to everyone, and enjoy a day to relax (we dont do anything for family on boxing day, this is our day to relax (and im trying to get DH to clean the house, but he wont even get out of bed, let alone clean, so im going shopping with one of the BB girls, just us and our little bubs, and DH can have the boys) Ok, getting off now!!)

Simone, HAHA I don't think Mark will see it that way. Today is the day that we go to my mums to eat left overs and over indulge in alcohol. My turn today. Mark was spewing lastnight :D
My house is trashed, even though the clean up has begun there is still way too much to do.
Yum, Mark has just fried up some Christmas ham and done a egg on toast too for me.
Hope you all had a great day yesterday. Enjoy the rest of your Christmas break. It's all over for another year :D YAY !!!
