Heya all!

Well Jesse has had a wonderful birthday!! Has been so spoilt! But you gotta be able to spoil someone i say!

Yeh, girls i recommend not starting the pill half way through your cycle or to bring AF on early after having bubs. I did with Jesse (half way through) and then ended up bleeding for over a month during my regular cycle. Even though it may be a PITA, i would wait until your second period after bubs and start then. Ill be doing that this time. That way you know that it is actually AF youre getting and not still locia. I think most pills recommend starting at the start of your cycle.

Tannis.. oh dear i hope Jayden is ok, poor pet. Can you give him some panadol in the mean time for the pain?

Kristy.. lol yep, crazy boy i have. When hes attached to something, theres no chance getting it off him!

Awww well had a very busy day today. Had to go looking for a spiderman. Can you believe I couldnt find one at k-mart, target or bw. Had to get Sandman which callum still loved but wanted to get him spiderman. Ill have a look at Castle hill. Its sill on isnt it Syd Ladies?????

Liam is doing well. He is drinking anywere from 130-150mls and smiling heaps now. He is talking too. Not as much as Id like but is doing it. Does anyone else baby not goooooo as much. He still has abit of a cold and Dr the other day said not to get his injections yet. What do you think. Im off to the pedi in a week so might see what he says.

No advice re: the pill I'm afraid - I haven't taken it in over five years so I'm completely out of touch on that one. I hate the pill~!

Going to get my hair cut and coloured tomorrow, the Bear is going to take me there and look after Beth... not entirely sure how the logistics are going to pan out though, they really take a loooooooong time to do it there, it usually takes 2-2.5 hours to do it! Pretty sure the Bear will be bored senseless walking round the shops all that time!

Kel- Hope Jesse had a fantastic day today on his b'day :)

Kristy- I sometimes to find hard for dresses, but that day I was lucky & I didn't care wat it looked like & wat colour it was but it's nice. If I'm despareate & want a nice dress I would go down to the shopping centres that are expensive but haven't lately, & I'm not that type. I only bought 2 dresses that are worth around $400 & I couldn't believe myself & I only worn them once. So never again will I pay that much. I will only spend only $200 & under. The dress I bought was $80 & I can wear it again, anywhere.

Tenny- I do sometimes still have baby brain. I did not have a pap smear test when I had my 6 weeks check-up, 2 weeks ago. My doc didn't say anything. But when I go to doc again I will mention it.

Mel- LOL I'm the same to I only wear dresses when there is an occasion. I don't wear dresses in summer, but for some wierd reason I want to wear dresses this summer & I'm WTF this is not me. LOL whem summer does come I probably change my mind. I always wear jeans or 3rd quater pants. I HATE wearing shorts. And I HATE SUMMER I'm not a summer's person.

Missy- Jonathan is having 100mls-125mls & he's goooooing but not much.

Pixie- It's always nice to have ur hair coloured & cut. I'm actually having my hair coloured on Monday. When I was blonde I used to get my hair coloured every 6 weeks, I don't know how I did it. But now I'm dark & my sister does it for me, I do it whenever, & not because she is my sister because you can't tell the re-growth much, as blonde u can. And I do pay my sister for doing it $50

The Dr doesn't thnk its a fracture as there is no bruising (but he mis diagnosed his own grand daughter who had a fractured tibia!). He said to get an xray on fri if there is no improvement...Jayden's still not letting his foot touch the ground.
Will probably be on later.

Hay all hope u r all well.

I started mothers group yesterday which was good!! Freakiness times 2 thought!! There is one person who was in the last series of childbirth ed taht i took before i finished work!! and 2nd a lady who was induced same day at same hospital by same ob and had emerg cs straight after me (i got moved out of theatre to recover quicker so tehy coudl bring newxt pt in which was her) OMG how weird in all of melbourne we live near each other and when i mentioned my best friend had 3 kids youngest being 6 days older than Jacob it turns out she had met her in waiting room of ob once!!

We have put on another 100 grams this week and MCHN still concerned re low weight gain so i went to GP and got script for motileum!
Last night and today he has been an angel went back down 0300 up at 0600 down 0700 and woke at 11am (so yes i got to sleep 0700 till 1000 when i got up had a shower and had food alone) was really impressed was meeting a friend for morning tea but i sms her and we still caught up but at nearly 1pm!!! he was an angel while out also fell asleep in prama nd was happy when i put back into car and out 3 times!!!

Missy Jacob is not making any noise really apart from screaming!!

Tannis hope he is better soon poor little man

Mel: WOOHOO you made just over double you did the day before! I didn't think about the wait in emergency, your right I wouldn't have seen a Dr in there until after my original appt...I didn't have a lot of confidence in the Dr we saw though (not our usual Dr). Woohoo on 2 kids asleep!

Tenny: Hate to tell you but baby brain doesn't go away....it in some cases gets worse after birth because of sleep deprivation LOL On the positive side its a great excuse when you forget something!

Kell: I can give him panadol (or Dymadon we have) but I haven't yet as it doesn't seem to hurt him unless he stands on it, Dr was poking it and moving it and Jayden was fine, maybe its in his head!

Kristy: I didn't know what fluffy mail was either LOL

Missy: Ash is gooing a bit but not all the time...Liam is probably taking it all in and not worried about talking just yet. WOOHOO on Callum sleeping in his own bed!

Rach: what will happen when Beth needs a feed? Will you just feed her while you are getting your hair done or time it so she doesn't need a feed? Will be great to get your hair done. I haven't had mine done since a week before I was due so that is roughly 8-9weeks ago, must get it done soon SIL#4 is a hairdresser.

Feeb: Yay on starting mothers group....what a small world hey? I'm thinking of starting a mothers group, I think i know enough ppl now with young kids...its just getting organised to do it and meet up. Motillium is great stuff! Jayden gained 810g in 2 weeks when I was on that. If Jacob is gaining weight even if its not huge amts thats still good....your doing a fantasic job!

LC called me earier and asked if I would go to an ante natal class tomorrow night and talk to them about BF'ing and the problems and perservering etc....I felt terrible but I said no, I'm too shy do it and also its at 7.30pm which isn't the best time to be out when you have 2 kids....I kinda wanted to do it but I don't have her number to tell her anyway...best I don't. The LC I saw when I had Jayden had asked the same thing when Jayden was a baby......Only cause I have all the problems you can have with BF'ing haha.

Well going to wake Ashlea up for a feed so she will sleep through, I mentioned to the LC on the phone that I was a little worried about how much she sleeps.....I should feel very lucky she sleeps so often and for so long but I worry its because she isn't getting enough milk...we'll find out Friday.

Hehe another good night here, Keira wise.. slept from 9.30pm until 7am this morning woo! Jesse.. still waking moaning all night.. once even crying. Even put a night light in his room last night.. didnt seem to make a difference. Dont know whats up with him.

Yep Syd ladies.. tomorrow at Castle Towers outside Kmart at 10am! Cant wait!

Missy.. good to hear Liam's doing well. Um.. Keira coos when shes smiling.. or on her playmat. How often is Liam doing it?

Tannis.. i was talking to DH about Jayden's leg last night and he reminded me a similar thing happened twice before with jesse..once when he was only starting to pull himself up, but also about 6 months ago. I didnt take him to the doctor, but he wouldnt walk on his leg and would cry when he tried to. Then meraculously, it was fine. Have no idea what happened or what was wrong. I hope Jayden is better this morning.

Feeb.. glad to hear you mums group went well.. how weird hey! small world!

Well no plans today, just a home day yay! No house work to do either as i did it all before mum and dad came down yesterday. So just gonna spend the day relaxing with the kiddies.

Morning all

Well I had a great sleep. Fed Liam at 11 then DH had to start early so he did the 5 feed. Yep he slept from 11 to 5 and is still in bed now. Callum slept till 7.30 but did get up once last night but that is ok as he went straight back to bed when I put him there.

I cant wait for the meet up tomorrow will be fun seeing all the babies.

lol on the double Anastasia I started to read it again and thought hang on ive read this...:doh:...lol Thanks for letting me know hun. He is smiling alot but not realy cooing/gooing. But you can see that he is trying so much to do it. The hands go every where and the leg kick. He is so funny when he tries.

Oh Tannis poor little Jayden I hope he will be ok and the xray show what ever is wrong. Good luck for Friday hun. Its scary when they sleep so long I know. The time Liam slept through from I think it was 11 to 6 or some thing like that I freaked out as it was a long time. I think they just get so warm that they just sleep. Im sure all will be ok.

Hi Feeb wow your little one is being good for mummy. How much weight has he put on since birth. What was his birth weight and now what is it. I think as long as he is putting on weight Id be happy with that. he isnt losing it so thats good. May be he is just a little eater. Im sure all will be cool hun. Wow on the mothers group and isnt it funny how we meet people thta know who we know. Glad you liked it.

hey Kell. YAY on the good sleep. wow your llucky having a relaxing day. I love those days. I was out in the front garden all day tuesday with liam in the pram, it was so nice. Im thinking about doing the back today. Not sure as I might be going to gf house but just waiting to hear on her. Liam does coooo but not a great deal. He is trying so hard to and the smiles I get at huge now. Just not the coooing. Do you think I should be worried. I think Callum was doing more but not sure.

not fair kell! last night i thought ok i'll feed, bath and give a massage with lavender at about 8.30-9pm and then i topped up their feed as they didn't quite finish their bottle, i thought this was bound to help them sleep longer. BUT NO caleb was up again at 1am i managed to put him back to sleep without a feed, and than they both woke up at 3.30am than at 6am. and they are still awake. i might go and see if i can get them to sleep they seem happy in the play pen for the moment.

missy yep i also am excited to see you all again tomorrowand it will be good to meet pixie and bare too.

mel i know BB is so distracting 4 me too. i wanted to do heaps yesterday but go no where.

Mel - BB is very distrusting for me too, I'm always on trying to keep up even if I don't post. How are you doing? Isabel is still waking for a 2 or 3am feed too but at least I am now only feeding 5 times so I'm managing to get longer sleeps from her.

Kell - So nice that Jesse had a great time yesterday for his birthday. They do grow up quickly hey, my little nephew is turning 2 in October and time has flown with him too. I'm sure the same will be with our little princess.

Missy - Liam is doing so well with his feeds, I really can't wait till our little sleeps through the night.

Tasia - Yes I'm still in for tomorrow's meet up at Highpoint I really can't wait to finally meet you and Jonathan. I'm also looking forward to meeting little Jacob too.

Well my little princess is asleep at the moment and I've done a bit around the house even managed to have a shower and wash my hair :dance: normally I only get to have a quick shower. I have also started her on Karicare AR full time and it seems to be working so fingers crossed this helps my little princess. she is also sleeping longer her last feed was at 10:00pm and then she woke at 3am for her next feed so I was happy with that.

I better go and vacuum while I still have time otherwise it will be a battle to do it when she is up. I'll check in a little later on. Have a lovely day all

Ayapi-check with your chemist but if you still have a little reflux withthe AR you can add some infant gaviscon to the formula its working wonders with the twins.

well i've managed to vacuum, fold our clean clothes, and now having a cuppa. Man I've been very productive this morning.

Kristy - Oh how adorable is Ike, love the photo. Izzy is also having Zantac morning and night so hopefully that is working but if it doesn't I will definitely ask about the gaviscon at the chemist.

I think that Jess is also coming but I will give her a call and confirm with her. Looking forward to seeing you all. I guess we will all aim to be there by 11am. I normally just put Izzy in the car and go even if she is sleeping :p She'll be right.

Well both my kiddies are asleep so im going to attempt to post and have lunch while i can!

Mel.. hehe sorry :p But thats what Keira was doing! No matter what time i fed her the night before, she'd wake at 3am. That went on for a week or 2 (while she was having the Colic relief). But the night since she started the Infacol, shes been sleeping through since. Her last feed is always between 9.30pm-10pm and the earliest since that she has woken is 4am.. but that was only once. Most of the time its been 7am. Hope M starts that for you too soon!

Missy.. nah i wouldnt be worried at all hun. Every baby is different. Youre getting lots of smiles so thats important i think. He'll get there. Maybe he'll just be a laid back person iykwim? Oh very good with the gardening! Im kinda glad in that respects that we rent and our landlord looks after all the gardens and lawns!

Kristy.. oh that sux. Hey how long did it take for that stuff to work? Can see much difference in Keira at all.. shes still bring up just as much i think, and over the time after shes had it. Might not bother with it soon.

Mez.. oh good stuff re the formula. Hope she stays alot happier now.

Ohh Kristy and Mez.. re that infant gaviscon it says on it NOT to add it to other feed thickening agents or infant milk preparations containing a thickening agent. So DONT add it to the AR formula unless youre advised to. Sorry.. just thought i better mension it.

Ok.. lunch is finished to better go fold those clothes!

Mary- I give Jonathan Karicare & I have no problems with it, he had it when he was 3 days old. Only there & then he throws up milk & I asked the MHN & she said it's normal, so I'm not worried at all. If he wasn't drinking then yeah I would worry. Jonathan is usually up by 8am for his bottle then the next one at 12pm, so he won't be sleeping. But he might be sleeping in the car. Can't wait till 2m.

I put olive oil in Jonathan's hair last night, left it overnight, gave him a bath this morning & washed his hair & now the cradle cap is all in his hair, is this how it suppose to be? Should I have left it over night or should I have just left it for 1 hour then wash it?? Any advice would be appreciated :)

Tasia.. you could try just gently combing or brushing it out? But yeh thats what is meant to happen.. for it all to come off from his scalp.. its just like dry skin. It will all just eventually fall out of his hair.

Kell- Do u think I should leave the oil overnight? Or leave it for 1-2 then wash it out?

Either way it wouldnt really matter. You can leave it over night and it will be fine. I did that with jesse with the baby oil and even sorbeline. Just make sure you washing all out thoroughly before he sees any sun.

Kell- Oh cool. And how long should I be doing it for? I bath him every 3rd day is that ok? When will I see improvement?

I bath Keira every 3rd day too. But i would proberly just wash his head each day (or more if you wish).. (you can just do it over the bathroom sink), put a new lot of oil or whatever on it as the washing also helps removed the skin.. and just do it until its all gone. Also would just try to keep his head as clean as possible during the process too. It just depends on how thick the skin is for when it will get better. But usually once that layer of skin is gone it should hopefully be it.

Havent been on much lately coz Ive actually had time to do housework without having to hold DD. We went out for dinner last night & left her with MIL & I was expecting to feel guilty the whole time we were gone but, it wasnt too bad. We were only gone 3 hours. She had her first bottle of EBM while she was there and apparently it went well. But she was really clingy when we picked her up & when we got home. Its nice to be missed sometimes lol coz then I got cuddles all night.
Im back into my pre-preg jeans now and weighed myself and am only 4kgs heavier than I was pre-preg. So Im annoyed because I wanted to stay a size bigger.

Mel - Yay on the fluffy mail, I need to get my butt into gear & order some more for DD but I dont know what to get aside from itti bitti's & bumG. We're not having much luck with the older style magicalls, she out wee's them in an hour so I need to buy or make some boosters for them.

Tenny - Yep Ive still got the mushy brain too. I forgot to pay our bills & our rent this week & it overdrew the account nearly $500, coz I have a separate account for direct debit bills & havdnt transferred the money across.

Melb girls - enjoy your meet tomorrow, soory I cant make it. I have a health centre appointment at 1030am as well. If anyone wants to come Im having a linen party on Sunday, it just a social thing but I can PM my addy & phone no if you want to be there
