Babies born July 16th - 31st 2008 #3

Evening all.....
It was sooooooo hot today.... Bear tried to put Beth in the swimming pool this afternoon - she cried though because the water was freezing. It was too cold for me! My brother and his girlfriend came to visit, his gf is 16 wks pregnant. It was good to catch up with them, first time they have met DD. I am wondering how keen my bro is on the whole baby idea..... His GF is really happy but I get the impression he is more worried about how it will affect his life and not sure how keen he is on babies generally. Hopefully we will go and see them in Canada when they have the baby - always wanted to go to Canada! Our other big news today is we are going on holiday next week - up to Mission Beach for a few days. We'll be staying at the same hotel as my stepmum and her kids so we'll have babysitting on site! It will be Beth's first flight so that's exciting. Taking commercial flights though so we can't drop in on the way Mel & Tan! Bummer! We were so knackered tonight that we went to bed at 8.45! DD woke at 11 and just waiting for her to fall asleep again now.

I really hope the doctor can sort out the reflux for you. It must be really wearing you down having her crying all the time. It just gets to you, no wonder A is copping it sometimes! You're doing great, :pray: the doc can sort her out and hopefully she will start sleeping better for you too.
Zee & Belle - glad you had a good meetup! Pics please! Zee we are in Balmain, would love to meet up with you ..... there's good Italian food in Leichhardt/ Haberfield? Or you could come round for tea sometime.
SW - LOL about 90210. We have to book DD in for her shots... not too worried about it, she got jabbed so much in NICU we are kind of used to it.
Mez, - we have her in a sleeping bag most nights but we still swaddle her underneath it. No sleeping bag tonight though, its too hot.
Missy - Liam is going great guns!
Kel - fingers crossed Jess sleeps through for you tonight!
Tan - mwah - don't know about the snake thing! But I guess you have to worry about that kind of thing up there. My brother had a house in Cairns and a python came through the bathroom window once - just what you want when you're on the toilet - NOT!
Anyhoo - that's a huge post from me, still waiting for missy to fall asleep so I can go back to bed! Catch you all tomorrow!

Wekll we have had 2 nights in a row where DD has been happy with the dummy in the middle of the night instead of a feed, and DS didn't wake up at all last night - yay!!!

Going to see if I can get a haircut today - first time in months (maybe a year even.....)

Well Liam was fed at 7pm and he woke at 3am. Thats not to bad but had callum up most of the night then again at 7 saying wake up mum...lol

Liam is lying on the floor watching me cooooo'ing. Oh its so cute!!

Zee and Belle glad you had a great time.

SW my DD is going to be crushed about 90210. She loves that show so much.

Tannis yes Liam is doing really well. He is so good. Put Callum and Mel together and Liam is better then them put together. He is such a good baby. Hope that doesnt change.

Pixie and Bear, Yes it was sooooo hot yesterday. Its going to be hotter today. I think I might take kids to the pool as my pool is not clean. DH cleaning it tormorrow. Awww Leichhardt has the best food. I use to work there and get Lunch. They had a Italian resturant called Pasticio. Oh the mussels in there were so yummmy.

Id love to come to qld Arimeh. Ill have to come and see you. Who else is in qld. You will have to email me your area your in and I might come and stay in a nice motel with the kids. A sort of holiday for me and the kids. I havent had a holiday for a while. Matt and Mel went to surface for her 14th bday so now its my turn...heheh:lol: Yay on DD. Well done and :clap: for DS. Wish mine would get it....lol:o

Off this morning to meet Kristy and her kiddies and a mum from our old mum's group and her little boy for coffee/lunch. Should be fun! Though its gonna be a stinker! Lets hope the shops have their aircon pumping! I told Jesse this morning we were going to see Kristy and Isaac today while i was feeding Keira.. he went straight into Keiras room and dragged out the capsule and said "bubba down" and pointed to the capsule. lol. so cute. This was at 6.30amish.

Missy.. good to hear Liam is going well! Still not as big as my little porker! lol. Same length though! She must just have those lady hips :lol:

Mel.. yay for your kiddies sleeping well!

Pixie.. gonna be another hot one! Wish we had a pool!

Well yeh no go for my sleeping boy.. up again twice last night. The second time i just let him moan and whinge it out and he went back to sleep. So glad hes not in his big bed of a night.. oh would that be hell. I wouldnt get any sleep at all im sure.

Well gonna go finish my coffee and get Jesse's his breaky.. then get ready to go.

Missy - what great stats for Liam he is doing so well.

Isabel was such a good girl last night for us, we feed her at 5pm when we got home then gave her a bath just to relax her a little after her needles. She slept from 6pm to 2am then back down after her feed and slept until 7am. This morning she was a happy little girl which is great and currently sleeping.

Today we have an interview to process her passport which is really exciting. I'm hoping it will arrive in time for us to go to NZ on the 23rd Oct for 5 days. We told Nana today and she is very excited. Have asked her to organise a few things for us like a car seat and portacot, it will be nice to see everyone.

Well better go and get ready myself before Izzy wakes. I'll BBL hope you all have a lovely day!

Hez Mez =) She was fantastic overnight. Pulled another 6 hr sleep, did her usual cry when she woke up ("I'M STARVING!!!!!!!"), the turned into the usual smiley babe as soon as she's had milk. Did you mean you saw Linden or Alyssa on FB? There's a stack of pics of Alyssa here ranging from birth to a week or so ago. We'll update it again soon. There's also a few here, but we haven't updated it in a while. It's a much groovier looking site, though ;)

How was Isabel overnight?

Isabel was really good overnight thanks SW. She slept from 6pm to 2am and then till 7am so I'm very proud of her. Your photos are beautiful, your little princess is just beautiful.

I know it's tumbleweed city in here today! I hear ya on not wanting to do anything. It was soooooooooo hot today I just couldn't get motivated and I haven't done any housework all week! Had mother's group in the morning and went over to Bondi Junction in the afternoon while the Bear stayed here with Beth. Thank god we have just had a huge thunderstorm which has cooled everything down. Beth just had a really weird feed - she was half asleep so stretching and coming unattached all the time... now she's lying in her cot wide awake....

It was really quiet in here yesterday...

We have needles at 10am - yuckoooo... poor little bubba... and a check with the doc for reflux (I suppose I should do my hair and get out of my jarmies!!)

Oh yeah, I did get a hair cut.. now I look like a boy.. but at least I don't have it in my eyes all the time!!!!

Miss M was hysterical last night - with pain - it was sooo hard listening to her scream. She screamed for probably about an hour all up - finally crashing to sleep at 7.30pm... BUT.. this is the good bit - she didn't wake up till 5.30 this morning!! YAYYYY a proper sleep through...

DS was up a couple of times, but I didn't hear him, so I must of gotten a full nights sleep... yay!!!!! (Lucky I put a good cloth nappy on her - must of been psychic!!!)

Hope everyone is having a good saturday so far.. (it is saturday isn't it?!?!)

Hard to believe I'm supposed to be going back to work in 3 weeks time ... :(

GL with needles Mehkelti, you will do fine. Woohoo on the sleep through and for the haircut! Bugger about going back to work...how many days a week?

Bear/Pixie.. Beth is so cute!!! I love that Bed Hair shot! And OMG where do you live??? You have a view of the harbour bridge?? How awesome is that!

Im still yet to organise Keira's needles. Called my doctor and she doesnt do them ehh! So will prob just go to the community ones.. which is next thursday.

Mel.. thats great M slept through! I hope you can get some more info about whats up with her today.. good luck for her needles.

This crazy weather is driving me nuts! One minute its 40 degrees then today its freezing! What the!

Going to pull out the pram and give it a vacume today.. also going to see if miss keira will sit ok in the toddler seat on the back. She is now the length of the main seat! And keeps pushing herself so her head is banging the back part (those with p&ts will know what i mean). Plus its an absolute biarch trying to get her in and our under the toddler seat. That way too Jesse will have more room in the main seat.
DH is at work today.. hopefully will be a short one as its not hot.
