hi all. my gosh I can't believe how much everyone talked today. I was out most of the day over at my mum's so didn't get to log on. It was such lovely weather today though, and I am loving getting to put Georgia in some little dresses. nice.
Tan - that is great about you coming down to Melbourne for a visit. SW could meet up on Monday 3rd which is right in the middle of your holiday so I think that this will have to be the day. As I said in one of my earlier posts I can't do the morning as I will be driving home from Phillip Island. So around 3 would be good for me. I hope this will be ok for everyone else.
Melbourne girls, and those in Melbourne on Monday 3rd November - hi everyone, as I just said above a meet up in the arvo of 3 Nov, looks like a possibility. If everyone can say what suburb they will be staying in, we should be able to work out the best place to meet. Pixie and the Bear, you don't feel like flying down too do you?
Pixie - glad you had such a great holiday, my gosh, I would soooo love a holiday right now, it ain't gonna happen though. oh well.
Bear - loved the photos. your little Beth is a real cutie. I love the photo where she is all wrapped up in the orange and pink towel.
Hi Belle - what a co-incidence that you stayed in the same place as the Bear and Pixie. I hope you are having a nice weekend.
Kristy - my DH might challenge you for the best spag bol, I love it, I'm lucky he is such a good cook. hmmm I can just picture your little man flaked out in front of the tv. good job wearing him out today. Glad you all had such a fun time.
Missy - that is so cute about Liam giggling. Georgia makes so many different noises it is so cute. I sit there having the longest conversation with her... I just wish I knew what she was meaning.
Mez - haha I would love to see your DH doing the chicken dance... tell him to practice so he is really good at it. kiss Isabel for me.
Hi Tan - mmm gummi bears... I felt so disappointed tonight cos there was no junk in the house for me to hoe into.... I guess it is a good thing though. I wish i had an exercise bike like you.... haha I probably wouldn't use it, just look at it, but you never know.
Zee - hi hon, how is Lucas. I must admit that when I eat anything more than a few nibbles of chocolate, Georgia will be screaming after the next feed. I think that after about 3 or 4 months there stomachs aren't so sensitive, but it really affects her at the moment. I also discovered that pineapple really doesn't appeal to her either. I think it must be too acidic. Hope he is doing better for you. poor little mite, big hugs.
Tasia - I can't believe what a horror your hubby is being. He really isn't showing you much respect. sounds like he just married you for someone to clean up after him, and do all his chores for him. to be honest DH does most of our grocery shopping, just cos he understands it isn't always easy to take Georgia. I hope he comes around hon.
Ok gotta see if Georgia is ready for a feed. I wanna go to bed, and it has been just over 4 hours since her last feed. we had a big day at my mum's with hardly any sleeping for her, so she might not wake up on her own. I would prefer to feed her now rather than at 2 in the morning, so I might just go in and cough a bit, or blow my nose and see if she stirs. God knows why, but electronic sounds don't wake her, but my dh blowing his nose gets her every time.
Morning all
well Liam slept from 8 - 4 so I think that is pretty good. Callum slept in his own bed all night . he is getting so good at it now. Callum and Matt (DH) have just left to go to the zig zag railway to see the big Thomas train. Gone with BIL and his two boys. Callum has no Idea where he is going. We have just been saying that he is going to a massive surprise...lol. He was so excited to be goine evern not knowing where he is going....hehehe.. Cant wait to see the photos.
Jess I bet Georgia looks beautiful in her little dress. Did you take any photos. AWWWW hope you have a good time at the meet up.
Oh just watching fox news about the abortions. How can they bring in that you can abort your baby at 24 weeks. Im outraged about it. I understand some ladies have abortions ( and that is up to them ) but come on to allow it to happen at 24 weeks. If a lady goes into labour at 24 weeks there is a 50/50 change it will live and the doc's/nurse would try their hardest to make them live. Oh IM NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS!!!. Im going to ask this as I sit here tearing up, do you think the babies at 24 weeks would feel being ((((KILLED)))) AND how would they do it.??????????????????????????
Im sorry for this downer but boy im f*****en P&sed at the moment!!!
Morning!!!
Well im so tired! Even though BOTH my kids didnt wake up at all last night woohoooooo!!!!!!!!!! Keira had her first night in a grobag too! No worries at all.. shes a little troopa. So bye bye to the wraps for us which im very happy about!
Jesse and i are off to swimming this morning with Kristy and Isaac. The boy's swimming lessons start back next Saturday and we thought it might be best going and just having a little swim ourselves the week before swimming starts.. just so that they can get use to the water again since our little break to have babies! Dont think theyll have any issues.. Jesse spashes up a storm in the bath as it is!
Groovey re Wednesday!!! Hope the weather holds out! So far its me, Kristy and Missy/Julie.. anyone else?
Pixie/Bear.. welcome back, glad you had a great holiday!!
Missy.. oh Callum will have a great time there! Kristy and i were talking about taking the boys sometime. Oh hmm yeh i dont agree with it at all if its just for someone who doesnt want a baby. They would have had ample time early on to stop their pregnancy. However if it was for medical reasons.. ie.. if the baby has severe medical problems that will see them to have a really hard life.. then i can understand it. But that would be the only reasons i would agree with it.. as i know if i was to fall pregnant again and find out at my 19 week scan that the baby is severely deformed or have major problems that will result in them needing constant care or sergeries for the rest of their life, we just couldnt do it.. and i dont really know how fair it is on that child to bring them into a world where they can not enjoy life. We also have other children we have to consider as well iykwim. Thats just my opinion on it. Id have no idea how they would do it.
Keira has a major facination with her hand! She will sit there holding it out, moving her fingers and just looking at it. Its like shes just worked out that that hand belongs to her.. kinda like that baby on Look Whos Talking in the womb going oooow look theres a hand
Hey Kell I think its just going to be us 3 on wednesday but hey thats cool. The 3 boys will have a ball. Oh Yes I didnt really think about the termination in the sence that if there was some thing really wrong. I just wish they could find out earlier IYKWIM as 24 weeks its over 1/2 way.
YEs on the hands. Liam is the same. LOL at the womb comment. I remember that movie and that seem. Very funny. Liam is more loves putting his hands in his mouth. Liam is more interested in watching Callum. Callum will be sitting watching a movie and Liam will be in his bouce - a - net and looking at Callum smiling and coo'ing at him. Callum doesnt take any notice but Liam doesnt care as he just watches him. Its so very cute and funny.
BBS going to have breccy.
Hi all.....((waves to everyone))
:happybirthday:HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACH!!!:birthday2::partysmiley: Hope you have a great day! Great to hear you enjoyed your holiday too, photos are awesome, Beth is gorgeous!
Jess: Ash wears dresses sometimes (she hasn't got many yet)..Georgia will look gorgeous! Mon 3rd Nov sounds good at this stage...we'll plan it for then. We are staying in Templestowe. Afternoon should be ok but Jayden will probably be a bit cranky/whingy. Unfortunately my excercise bike does just sit there most of the time, but only because Jayden won't sleep in the arve and I don't get time.
Missy: Yay on Liam and Callum sleeping through! Hope Callum enjoys his surprise...sounds like fun!
Kell: Must have been the night for kids sleeping! My 2 both slept through too. Yay on getting rid of the wraps. Ash does that with her hand too
Re: Abortions....I think its totally up to the mother, but I don't agree that it can be done so late in the pregnancy. If you were to go in to early labour at 24wks, as Kell said 50/50 chance of survival but if it doesn't survive you have to name the baby and give it a funeral....how can you abort at that stage. I also agree that if there are servere physical or mental problems then there is a right to abort but not just for changing their mind on wanting a baby...there is always adoption.
Jayden threw up his vitamins this morning probably shouldn't have given it to him straight after his weet bix!! Ewww....it was disgusting! Can I give it to him in his food? I hope I see an improvement before 3mths! haha Not sure I can handle his moods for that much longer...Better go, he has already started this morning! Its so exhausting....lucky Ash is a happy baby!
:happybirthday::dance::confetti:HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO RACH, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, HIPPIP HORA:happybirthday::dance::confetti:
.
Im sure you can give it to him in his breccy tannis. Dont see why not. Hope he is ok now hun. Have a good day!!!
Aw thanks guys
I won't be able to make it to the meetup this week, the Bear will need the car to get to his new job! :hooray: Besides, I don't think I could get to Windsor by 9am!
Anyhoo - hope you all have a lovely day :dance::dance:
Good morning ladis :)
Howar we all. Thank you so much for your support about my husband. I know he shouldn't be acting like this but wat can I do. I just had enough I don't hear about it anyomore. We ordered a treadmill & it came yesterday wooooooohoooo. Is anyone going to Oaks Day?
HAPPY B'DAY RACH!!!!! :)
Missy- I'm soooooooo against abortions, i think it's wrong how can you kill your baby, it is the mother's choice in wat she wants to do, butcome on man at 24 weeks plz.
Tannis- oooohhh poor little bugga hope he gets better soon.
Kell- With the grobag ar the arms free or are they wrapped as well?
Thanks...Jayden is fine, just didn't like the vitamins I guess. I will put it in his lunch later hehe
Tasia: Woohoo for the treadmill! We spent $2500 on a treadmill when we were in Melb and I very rarely used it (I used to smoke so I was in no shape back then! Naughty me! ;)) We sold it when we moved to QLD, wish we still had it now!
Chris just called, he wants me to get the kids in the car now (A is asleep) and bring him a hat! He is only about 5 mins away...why can't he come home and get it himself? He is working with a mate building units today...but surely its easier for him to come home than for me to load the kids in the car and go to him??
Tannis- hubby got it from e-bay it was worth 2 or 3 thousand but we got it for $600. Can't wait till he opens it up so I can use it. I told him I will fix it but he goes no it's too heavy. Sweety I know wat you mean. was it u that said to me ur really shy when u meet new people?
:partysmiley::birthday2:HAPPY BIRTHDAY RACH!!!! :birthday2::partysmiley:
Hope youre spoilt rotten!
Missy.. oh isnt that cute! I can see Liam is going to really look up to and love his big brother!! Already does! Keira just looks at Jesse like.. oh god not him again  But she does goo and smile at him when he gets up close lol
Tasia.. yep arms are free. Its like a big jumpsuit without any arms in it, but like a sleeping bag at the bottom. Woohoo on the treadmill!!!!!
Tannis.. oh dear poor Jayden. Yeh i give it to Jesse in his weetbix. He has banana & pear fruit puree (the baby jar lol) on top of his weetbix so i just put the vitamins on the weetbix, then spoon over the puree. Oh yay for everyone sleeping through!!!
The boys had a great morning at the pool! Isaac was laughing his head off when he first got in.. was so cute. And they were both jumping in off the side.. clever monkeys!
Well best go.. MIL is coming over to watch the kids so DH and i can go do the shopping in peace! yay!

Tasia: Great bargin!! I'm a bit shy but not too bad
Kell: Sounds like the boys had fun! Did the twins and Keira go for a swim too?
Belle: Gorgeous girls!!
Both kids asleep thank god! I really need a sleep myself today, I don't feel normal haha. We are going to an engagement party tonight, should be good but it will be an early night I think.
Well I'm off to see if I can sleep before A & J wake up
afternoon all...
Kell - so glad you all had a great time today at swimming. Question for you cause Keira sleeps through the night how do you manage to give her 5 bottles each day?? last night her last bottle was at 7pm she went down by 8:30pm and didn't wake until 4:30am which meant that she only had 4 bottles?? Do I need to wake her or give her a dream feed to make sure she has 5 bottles??
Belle - love the photos of Tara and Julia they are both adorable. How are you doing?
Pixie/Bear - what gorgeous holiday pics! Little Beth is so beautiful and yes she does look like you Rach.
:happybirthday: Rach I hope you had a lovely day!!!
Tasia - Woohoo on the treadmill sweet, my DH wants one too but I just know that we will use it at the beginning and then forget about it so really it's a waste of money in our household!
Zee - How did Lucas do for you last night?? How are you feeling too?
Well today we FINALLY went to the accountant and logged our tax for 3 years oh I know we are bad but just really haven't had time or organised enough lol. We have to attend a 1st Holy communion tomorrow so little Izzy is going to wear a cute little dress. Hope you all have a great weekend.
A BIG :bluecheer:to everyone else that I have missed...
Mez.. Keira usually has bottles around 7-8am, 11am-12pm, 3pm, 6pm, 9.30pm. But yeh i just work it out so she has 5 bottles between 3-4 hours apart. Shes not drinking enough at the moment for me to cut one out. At night, she's usually asleep from around 7pm and i just wake her, by changing her nappy and get her in her grobag and give her one last before i go to bed (the 9.30pm one). She usually will only have about 100mls max as she falls asleep on the bottle, but i just try and get as much as i can into her (by tickling and poking etc lol). I think she'd wake me earlier in the morning otherwise lol. If she doesnt drink much im not phased.. i know if shes hungry she'll let me know. I think you just need to make sure she's drinking enough for her body weight over 24 hours. They usually should have around 90mls per kg over 24 hours until theyre 3-4 months. But also every baby is different and unless theyre losing weight, theyll just drink what they need. Hope you get a nice pay out from your tax returns!
Tannis.. nah Keira stayed with DH and the twins were with Kristy's mum. So it was nice for us to have some 1 on 1 time with our boys. Have fun at the engagement party!
We just had home made pizzas for dinner mmmmmmmmmmmm they were so good.
Have to go shower with the boy now.
Have a nice evening all!
Hi all
Well had a nice day with Liam and Melissa. I did the ironing and Mel and I watched DVD's all day, Made fish and chips and Liam was just watching us...Callum and DH got back from seeing Thomas about 5pm. Callum was so tired. He had the best time. Ive uploaded some photos.

Tannis I hope you didnt go take him the hat. As you said he is only 5 mins away why couldnt he come and get it...geeee's men some times. Hope the vit gets down this time with out coming back up. Have fun at the party hun.
have fun at the movies belle
Ayapi oh wowo about the tax..can you go that long without doing one. Awwww cant wait to see the dress Izzy wears tomorrow at the communion.
Kell yummmy on the pizza's. I love home made ones. Now that I think about it I think Liam is only having 4 bottles some days of 200ml. The last couple of days he has been having only 150 and more then 5 bottles I think. He must be having a growing spert. I will have to make sure he has 5 bottles from now I as I just looked on the tin and he should be having 5. Thank for telling us.
Good evening eveyone :)
Hope everyone had a good day today. I just did laundry & grocery shopping. Now I'm just watching relaxing waiting for hubby to come home so we can have dinner.
Mary- I have just recently increased Jonathan's formula up to 150mls, instead of 125mls. He is doing great. I still feed him every four hours, his last feed is at 12am, then he will have one when he wakes up which is around 7 or 8 but i give it to him at 8, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm & 12am & so on. He doesn't wake up at all during the nite. So I'm really happy about that & the feed. I can't believe he is 3 months already. How is gorgeous Izzy going? Which church you going to for the communion?
Belle- they are such goregous photos of ur girls how cute :)
Missy.. oh glad Callum had a great time! Love the photos! If hes happy drinking the 200mls and only 4 bottles, and if thats right for his birth weight, then i wouldnt worry too much. Whats on the tins is only really a guildline. It says Keira should be drinking 200mls x 5 feeds.. and shes only having roughtly 150mls each.. if that. But she aint starving.. the little porker! ;)
Oh forgot to tell those who use grobags.. i think was it Mez saying Izzy's hands were getting cold? Or was it Beth's hands Pixie? Ive been putting baby socks on Keira's hands to stop them getting cold as it does still get cool of a night here. I forgot to mension it befor ewhen you were talking about it, we did that for Jesse too.
Ok just bathed the miss, fed her and shes in bed.. so think i might go too.
Night night all
xx
Anastasia had a great day thanks
Kell yes im not to worried as he is putting on the weight. If he wasnt putting on weight id be worried but he is. Oh YOur little one is a porker and I wouldnt worry if she is only having 150mls. Im sure the thinken formular fills them up quicker. Liam has started leaving some too so some times its 200 other times 150/170. Does your bottles go to 220 when you put the formular in the water..mine does???
Yeh im not too phased now.. she is drinking a little more than she was the other week now.. but i think it may, like you said, be to do with the thick formula.. plus shes not bringing it all up anymore, so her tummy is staying full iykwim. Yep it does.. so i guess theyre really getting more than you think hey.
yes they are getting more then what we think. So if Liam finishes his bottle he is really getting 220mls so that is great stuff. yes he hardly chucks anymore unless I dance around with him which I some times do then he chucks up on me...lol....
Well night all going to bed
take care
Hey everyone.
I've been a bit MIA lately and missed out on heaps. I did start to read the pages back but got a little lost cause my mind is a bit all over the place. I'm sorry.
Pixie - HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHICA! I hope you had a fantastic day & holiday too.
Kell - DP thinks Elijah gets growing pains too. It comes and goes sometimes. All we do if he is really complaining is give him some nurafen. I'm not really sure if there is anything you can do about it. It's just one of those things that happen, I guess.
Re: Good babies. I feel bad too that I have such a good baby. Elijah was a good baby, but Hayden is even better. I couldn't have asked for a better baby, seriously.
I've had a rough couple of days with Elijah. I'm so worn out and rundown by his attitude and naughtyness. I just don't know how to get through to him. Friday was the worse day. I did well to hold back my tears throughout the day while we were in public. While I was crying at home, Hayden was doing his giggles and smiles at me. He melts my heart so much. I'm so glad he's such a good boy. I don't think I could handle Hayden being really unsettled and stuff aswell as Elijah's attitude too. I'd be more insane that I already am.
Then I've got all those feelings ontop of everything else that I'm such a bad mother. I tell my grandmother that Elijah's been naughty. Hell, Elijah admits he's been a naughty boy to her aswell... so I start just briefly telling her about it, and she doesn't believe me. Way to go. It's bad enough she makes me feel like I'm 'as big as the side of a house' as my mother used to say... now I'm a person who lies about her children??
It doesn't help I'm low a$$ selfesteem either, I guess. Lol.
So tonight I'm just home with the boys. It's very quiet as they're both sleeping. Yipee!
I'm just relaxing and trying to enjoy time for me. I feel like I'm giving everything to everyone else and getting not much back, so it's good timeout for so me time... until I have to go pickup my sister from somewhere at like midnight..
Sorry about the ME,ME,ME post.
but finally on a somewhat good note... AF has started to show her face. YAYAYAY!!
As much as I hate her, I'm glad she's here. I was starting to worry myself about it, but now I know I'm not broken!!
:leap:
Have a great night.
xx
Tenny- Hey sweety. I'm sure things will get better sweety. You are not a bad mother. You're doing a fantastic job & we are very proud of you sweety:)
Missy- Wow Liam is getting 220mls that is good stuff. Jonathan is taking 150mls now. I think i have to change his teat to 2.
Tenny.. Big  for you hun. You are doing a wonderful job, dont believe anything different. It is hard looking after a baby and a toddler. Even if the baby is an easy baby. Theres just so much more to do. Maybe your grandmother meant it that she never sees him naughty.. not to say he isnt.. but he's good when your out seeing her iykwim. But i think its a common thing this attitude. I know Jesse will have it. He already has this look he gives when you say no to something.. then come on the tanties. But please dont ever think youre a bad mother, because that is NOT true. You are doing everything you can for your boys and you love them to death. That makes a wonderful mother in my eyes. When does Elijah start school?
Good morning
Awww Liam woke at 3 and I asked DH to do the feed as I was having a good sleep. I told him could he do it and he can have the sleep in. so I got a full night sleep...yay
Tenny im sorry your haveing a hard time. Oh the side of the house, I so know what you mean but going by the photo in you ticker you look ok to me hun. Abit of a hotty id say. Dont let anyone put you down and if ppl are abit nasty just let it go over your head. As for being a great mum you are. Im happy you have good boys too and I think we all need to talk about that too. This thread is just not for hard time but good times too. Im not going to hide that I have good boys and I dont think its fair. I agree with kell my MIL and FIL dont think callum can be naughty as they only see him in good moods. Believe me he can when he wants to be.
Anastasia yes he is but only some times the hole 220mls. YAY on the up to 150mls hun thats fab. He is doing well.
Morning kell, how did the kidddies go.??
well have to give liam his bottle.

Hope your day is going good
see ya
Missy.. oh wow that room looks awesome! I bet she loves it! Any 14 year old would love it! And Liam.. well he is so cute! Watch out all the ladies i say! Overnight, yeh the kids were ok.. Keira perfect angel as usual.. slept through from whatever time i put her to bed.. was around 9.30pm i think.. until 8am this morning. Jesse woke up once around 12.30am.. then was up when DH left for work around 7am.. so not too bad.
Very quiet in here! Everyone must be having great weekends!
Both my kiddies are asleep atm woohoo. Did the washing this morning and tidied the house. We're looking at moving. Found a place on the net last night which im going to call the real estate about tomorrow. Was sad at first last night with the thought of moving and leaving all the memories this house has brought us (both Jesse and Keira's first home).. but the house is too small, and we have a tiny yard. We need somewhere bigger.. and this place we're looking at has 4 bedrooms and a bigger yard.. so will be better for everyone. Jesse really needs more room to run around in. So im really hoping we do get this place and we like it.
Wow so much chatting since I was last on!!! How am I going to catch up...
Kristy - you will have to give me your recipe for spag bol if its that good!!!!
I hope you guys have a good time at your meet up (who am I kidding - course you will!!!)
Jess - I bet G looks gorgeous in her dresses!!!
Welcome back Pixie & Bear - the pics look fab!!! Beth is so gorgeous... excellent that she was such a good baby for you too!! Thats always helpful!!! Oh and happy birthday for the other day Rach - I was going to send you a message on facebook - but I got distracted....
Missy - I agree - 24weeks does seem a bit wrong to abort - I've always been pro-abortions though in circumstances like the woman was raped or something like that - cos I wouldn't want to have a baby to a man who raped me.... but yeah.. 24 weeks ... seems a bit inhumane..... and those pics of Callum are gorgeous!! If I showed A those, he would say "oOOOHHhhh.. big TOOT TOOT..." pmsl!!!
tan - we have a treadmill too - but.. uh.. its downstairs.. and I don't use it.. lol... can't fit it in the loungeroom with all of A's toys.... did you give Chris his hat?? Oh and we give A his vitamins in the syringe, he gets claps and yays when he has his "vitamins" so he takes them no trouble.
Belle - Tara is SOO gorgeous!!!!
Kel - we had homemade pizza last night for dinner - yummo!!!!! (all low fat of course... unfortunately!!)
Tenny - you are doing such a great job... do you know that kids only play up for their parents cos they know in their hearts that their parents won't kill them.. but can't trust that strangers or other family members won't.. PMSL.. thats the explanation I got from my brother anyway - cos A is such a different kid down at their house, and at day care, and with his grandparents.... but such a naughty little so-and-so with me!!!!! My MIL always said that DS NEVER played up, was such a good kid, and it used to pi$$ me off.. now they don't watch him that often so not getting cranky as often..
Oh missy- yay for the full night sleep!!!! And Melissa's room looks tops!!! Wish I had that at her age!!!
Anastasia - Tan is not shy - could talk the ear off a donkey if she had to (JUST KIDDING TAN.. ME LOVE YA!!! hehehe)
Mez - hope that the tax works out in your favour - ouch for the 3 years!!!! With regard to bottles - M wakes up usually at 6, and I give it to her every 3 hours (cos she is a catnapper) so she gets one at 6, 9, 12, 3 and 6 - then will sleep from after that bottle till 6 in the morning. So she gets the 5 bottles a day - but has a 12 hour break in between... seems to work for her (and us!!)
Kel - fingers crossed for the new place!! ( I love moving - get to chuck heaps of crap out..lol)
I'm a bit all over the place with these personals aren't I... hmm
Anyhoo - us...
DS moved to his big boy bed last night - so far so good. DH got up to him during the night (he was sideways) but he never fell out or anything. I will post a pic later on of his new bed.. my little man is growing up!! Felt a little sad last night sitting next to him while he was going to sleep - such a big move from the cot to a bed!!!! But - now his sister can go into the cot cos she's getting too big for the bassinette... and keeps putting her head down the side and getting stuck.
I think thats the latest from here... she woke up once last night - but settled quickly with a dummy.. then woke at 6.45!!! So that was pretty good.. she's getting good at not needing to be fed after 6pm ...
weigh in day tomorrow for my first week on the diet.. hopefully I have lost a bit...
Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!
OH - Nearly forgot (duh dumb mummy) I brought a car yesterday (yeah I know, how could I forget THAT!! lol) I pick it up on the 24th - since I'm going back to work on the 3rd November - I wanted a car of my own!!!
So yup, thats all the goss.
Heyas.
Very quiet in here today.
Thank you for reading and replying to my MEMEME post before.:hug::hug:
Thanks for making me feel better, and it helps heaps just to get it out. I tell DP but I swear he tunes out half the time and that doesn't help any. lol
Kell - Elijah will be starting Kindy next year. It kind of freaks me out that it's coming up so fast, but he's definately ready. I hope you guys get the bigger place. Boys need more space to go wild in. Lol. Elijah would go mental with only a small backyard to play in, I think.
Missy - OMG. I love Melissa's room. I wish I had a great room like that when I was growing up. Your photos are so awesome too. Thanks for sharing.
Mel - That's so true about the kids only being naughty for their parents, well in my case I reckon it's only for me. Elijah doesn't seem half as naughty when it's just DP. It's such a kick in the guts for me. Lol. I'm having a feel sorry for me few days. Hehe.
GO Aricyn!!! It's a bit of a bittersweet moment when they move to a big bed, isn't it. I'm glad he had a smooth transition so far. He keeps it up.
YAY! Congrats on the new car. That's so excitinggggggggg!!!! WHOOHOO!
Tasia - How've you and your DS been going??
Hey Tan, Pixie, Bear, Mez, SW, Skittle, Jess, feeb and anyone else I might have missed. I hope you're all going great.
I'm tired and cranky today. Lol.
Bubbablue is a little off today too. He chucked up heaps this morning.. all over me, and the bed. I'm not sure if he drank it too fast cause we moved up to the next teat, or what. I'm not really sure.
I've also been thinking I need to harden up and say no to people more, and start putting me before them. No one thinks of me first so why should I do it for them? Lol.
Easier said then done though, aye.
MmM. Satay chicken & rice for dinner. YUMMMMMM!
<3<3<3<333333333
Good evening ladies :0
Hope we all had a good day today. It was really hot in melbourne today, don't like it hehehe.
Missy- Yeah Jonathan is doing really well he drinks all of his 150mls.I might increase in a month or 2 see how he goes. The room looks great & liam is so cute :)
Kell- I hope you do get the place. It is sad to leave ur house after living there for long. Hopefully watever place you get, i'm sure u will be happy for you & ur family.
Mel- That's good that Tan is not shy. I'm really shy when I meet new people my heart races & get little hot. That's good that A moved into his bed well done :) and well dne for putting M in her cot. I haven't even put Jonathan in his cot yet, I might do it late Nov early Dec. He is starting to get taller in his bassinette.
Tenny- Hey sweety Jonathan & I r doing really well thank you. How r u & ur kids going Yeah u have to learn to say no sometimes. I used to say YEs YES YES to everything & I'm like WTF why should I, do these people do anything for me NOOOOOOOOOOO. So now I say Yes & No depends wat it is.
Morning all.
Its monday again.... I'm don't know what happened to the weekend it went so quick. probably because DH worked all weekend i guess this will be another 14 day week. hope he can have thursday off to spend with us.
Tennykins i know everyone has already said it but i wanted to also reassure you that you are an awsome mum! the fact that you question yourself prooves it, it means you care. a friend of mine recons 4 year olds are worse than 2 year olds she said that the terrible two's are nothing compared to being 4 and 5. so your not alone and just think whan Elijah has grown out of it and into a beautiful young man we will be begging you to tell us how to deal with our terrors. and don't worry about gran older people sometimes say things without thinking.
Arimeh any time, i got it from my cousins FIL he was (died last year) an old italian man it was his mothers recipe it is surposed to be made with chunks of beef and cooked for 12 hours but im too busy for that and use mince and cook for 3 hours. he was a funny man always talking about his old country and how kids of today wouldn't know good food if it bit them.... "personally i perfer my food not to bite me";)
Good for Aricyn he is a big boy now in his bed, i think i will cry when ike goes in one. his cot turns into a toddler bed tho so we will just keep him in it as long as we can and buy new cots for the twins. and our cradle's are really big so i think i have at leats another 4-6 months before we need to get them cots. when they can sit up.
kell- where is the house you saw i saw one in a window of the windsor real estate in FR that looks good.... and hey there is one on my street too but not sure if it has a fence.
missy mel's room is awsome love c u on wednesday. so who is coming now.
Pixie happy belated birthday sorry i missed it hope you had a great time...And i'll check out your pics a bit later bur=t everyons has said they look great so i cant waite to see.
Well we had a nice weekend, after swimming with kell and jesse i droped isaac at mums for a shower and nap and i took the twins home so we could get organised for a party we went to. picked isaac up on the way to the party. it was great all my babies were go well behaved the twins slept thru the whole thing actually people were disapointed cause most missed out on a hold cause they stayed in the pram sound asleep. Isaac was awsome there were about 7 kids there and the oldest was 3 so he loved it played till 11pm crashed in the car on the way home and slept till 7.30am but he was still so tired so went back down for a nap at 9am untill 1pm. we had a great time. we have another bigger party in a few weeks so it was a good practice. on sunday we just hung around the house and my MIL visited.
hmm not much else in new.
we took isaacs bottles away on thursday, he has been good only a couple of tanties but i think he is over the now, and his eating habbits are so much better without them. the dummy goes soon too.
hope my new nappies come today! i would think so. oh i bought a fisher price walker wo walgon from deals direct, for twins for christmas. i just don't know what to get them they already have all of Isaac's old stuff.and we have waaaaaaaaaaay to many toys already.
well better run and hang out the washing while its early. i plan to mow the back yard today its too long and we get snakes already. i like to keep it really short in summer.
take care :nahnah: Hello to Everyone i missed this time
kristy
hey everyone! :leap:
Hope you all had a good weekend.
Thanks for the birthday wishes.... had a good weekend, pretty quiet birthday, just went out for dinner with the Bear, my dad and my brother. My stepmother is going to get me some spa treatments, look after Beth and CLEAN MY HOUSE for my birthday :hooray:
The Bear is off slaughtering a pig today, and starts his new job tomorrow so it will just be DD and me. We started asking people if we could borrow their spare cars and now there are three that we can borrow so we won't need to buy one straightaway!
Mel - what kind of car did you end up getting? sorry if you've already said. O and please send me the name of your miracle stretch mark cream.... either pm or on FB...
Tenny babe, you're doing a great job.... tell people to stick it if they don't return the favours you do for them. With two kids you're just too busy to be doing favours for ungrateful so-and-so's!
Kristy your spag bol sounds awesome! 14 hours, the Bear would be impressed!
Mez - yay for sorting out the tax returns! Tax is a four letter word in our house.
Kel, missy, tasia, tan, sw, jk, :leap: and waves to anyone I've missed!
We got a white Mazda 323 - 2002 model - its very pretty. :) Pity it will have such an ugly driver in it...pmsl
Cream - elizabeth arden - green tea enriched body butter. google for stockists. sorry i haven't sent nappies yet, will get them out of cupboard tonight so i remember.
Kristy - geez who has that amount of time to cook!!! lol sounds wonderful though :)
Another sleep through here from DD - slight fussing at 4.30 but went back to sleep. DS on the other hand... hmmm... no comment...lol... bad night started at 12.30 when he woke up all hysterical and screaming... DH thinks he had a nightmare.. who knows... then he was restless for the rest of the night, so none of us got a good nights sleep.
DD has another chiro appointment today, have to drop DS off at DH's work - too bad if his bosses don't like it - got no choice!! We got a portable DVD player yesterday to go in the car - it was so nice to hear DS giggling this morning to curious george rather than the constant whinging and screaming we usually get in the car!!!
Thats about it i think.. nothin exciting...
Thanks for that Mel! And for the swimmer nappies, no worries, they won't fit till DD is 7kg anyway so you have some time! We are going to borrow a friend's car (they are OS) cause Bear will need ours to get to work - and it's guess what? a Mazda 323! who is stalking who here! LOL
No sleep throughs here :crying: she has been waking at 3-4 again. I try the dummy but she is always starving so it doesn't work!
But we were very proud yesterday, she was lying on her play mat and she rolled all the way over on to her right side, on to her back again and then all the way over on to her left side! clever little monkey! The Bear said she rolled all the way over when he was sitting on the bed with her but I was in the other room.
anyhoo, gotta run and try to finish the dishes before she wakes up hungry!
Hey,
Kristy - Sounds like Issac had a fantastic time at the party and I'm glad the twin were great and slept the whole time. I so didn't know 4 and 5yr olds would be worse then the terrible twos. I wish someone had of warned me then. I really did think once you got past the terrible twos, it'd be smooth sailing. I was sooooo wrong it's not funny.
Tasia - Good to hear. Hayden is going really well. Elijah is naughty but fine. Thank you for asking.
Pixie - You'd think people would think about things before asking me/expecting me to do things for them since I've got 2 kids now. It's unbelievable, seriously. Glad you had a great birthday. I hope the Bear has a good first day at his job tomorrow. YAY Go BETH!!!! That's awesome. Hayden is doing the roll to one side thingo too. :D
Mel - There is a miracle stretchmark cream? I have hundreds and thousands of them, do you think it'd still help?? I'm really selfconcious of them lately, I don't really know why though. I hope DS has a better night tonight, so you all can have a good night sleep too. What exactly does the chiro do? How do you know if your baby needs to go to the chiro? Sorry about my questions. I know I asked alot sometimes.
Does anyone elses bubba has a favourite side?
Not much going on with us today.
Have a good rest of the day.
xoxo
Tenny - I call it my miracle cream yes!!! I had heaps of stretchmarks after DS and this got rid of them - couldn't even tell I had them in the first place - now I've got worse ones, so am using it again every night after my shower...
Ok - the chiro - he just checks how her body is aligned - if her neck is out - which is usually common with babies considering the way that they are delivered - its a rough road, whether down the long road, or out the emergency exit!!!! If it is out, he gently manipulates it back into place, then gives her a little massage to make the muscles loosen up a bit.
We took DS to a chiro on the advice of a MCHN because he was really hard to settle and would prefer to look in the one direction. Then we found out about his neck being out and it was a reason why he couldn't BF properly because it hurt him to stay in the position for that long. So he fixed that. So when we had DD and she was hard to settle, and would prefer one side - then we took her there as well. I highly recommend it, they can fix numerous problems - ie, flat head, colic, reflux just to name a few.
And I don't think you ask very many questions at all.
Pixie - hmmm... I think I could be stalking you.. maybe... ;)
I don't even know if DD would roll over yet - haven't really tried - if I lie her on her back she just turns her head to watch tv.. lol.. and kicks her legs.. but thats about it. We don't really try her on her tummy that often either because she sleeps on her tummy so we don't want her thinking that we want her to go to sleep when its play time!!! LOL.. poor bugger would get all confused ;)
Hi girls
Seems our family is not having a good couple of weeks, we are sick again, Julias got another ear infection and end of cold and Taras had her needles today so both are crying and not well... Im not handling the crying very well with my anxiety, thank god they arent crying for 15mins now so I can get some sanity back....
Hope you are all well.
Bel
xxx
Mel after the rolling over incident DD actually didn't cry during tummy time for the first time ever. it's like she knows she can get out of it that position now!
and don't be so sure - I might be stalking you LOL
Mel - Thanks for answering my questions. Haydie sort of favours one side. He's gotten better with it lately, and he's not hating Tummytime that much anymore too, so he gets alot of that. I might actually look around here and talk to DP about taking him to the chiro. I stumbled across a thread that had stuff about when they also have help coming out (ie, forceps, vac extract) it can also pull things out of alignment. I never knew any of this before. Lol. He seems to not favour it as much anymore, so I dunno though. I'm rambling sorry. :P
Belle - You poor thing. I hope after this batch of sickness it leaves your house for good! I hope you're looking after yourself aswell.
Aha. I'm such a cranky b!atch today. It's like the look on my face is constantly like this --->
Hahahaha.
Oh and yay, I got my huggies swimmer nappy sample thingie the other day. That was some excitement for me. It's funny that such tiny things like that brings excitement these days. I think I need to get out more. LOL!
