Morning all

Well big claps for Liam.:clap: Fed 8.30pm, woke at 4am but went back to sleep, woke at 5 and again back to sleep then I got up to him at 6.30. What a good boy. No the other one, well lets just say Im not impressed...lol. Not sure what time it was but I woke to him in bed with me and DH.:wall: I didnt really worry about it until he stole my pillow...sheeesh so I had no pillow for most of the night and was trying to steal DH's. So Liam did well and Callum had my pillow and most of the bed too.....:rolleyes: Oh well you cant win them all.....lol

Oh kell I have Callum on vid falling alseep at his hair chair,ill send it to you. I was going to send it to funniest home vid. Let me know if I should. Hope Keira had a good night for herself and you hun.

Anastasia I always cry at movies/tv. Im such a sook.

Well im off the my sisters house to see her and give her some support. I so know im going to burst into tears when I see her. She is so strong and im hopeless when it comes to family. I just love mine so so much.

Missy - Woohoo on Liam sleeping so well last night, sorry to hear that Callum didn't and stole your pillow how cute! You got to love when they do that :D Good luck today with your sister hun, just remember you being there for her is what counts even if you do cry. I would be just the same. Tasia - Isabel is really well, she has been such a good girl lately which I'm really happy about but it could change once we go to NZ next week. Being 2 hours ahead of us it will be interesting.

Kell - Well Isabel did it again, her last feed was at 10pm and she didn't wake until 6:30am today woohoo...:dance: How was Keira last night for you after her needles. Oh don't worry about crying I was a mess when Izzy had her needles.

Belle - I hope you get lots of rest and we'll chat when your back on line sweet.

Zee - I love your new ticker Lucas is just gorgeous!

Feeb - OH I agree it might be a bit busy hey, maybe we just meet at a park with a cafe if it's a lovely day?? What does everyone think?

And yay for Liam as well Missy - all these good boys and girls sleeping through!!!! Sorry about callum - but if it makes you feel better - DS woke up 3 times last night, once cos he fell out of bed. Didn't hurt him though, he went backwards (I think) so he ended up standing next to the bed instead of in it.. lol

I've woken up with a cold today - so feeling really great.. probably got it from the crappy day care I went to on Wednesday.. all the kids there had snotty noses, and now DS has got it as well.. so he's not feeling very well - still went to daycare today though...most days he can't wait to leave me - think I'm too boring for him.. lol

SW - I hope you had a good birthday !!!!!

Zee - that is a cute pic of Lucas - I hope his sleep picks up for you soon!!!

Kristy - nah the bed takes the mattress that they sell at IKEA - the singles don't fit cos its more like a toddler bed than a single bed. I brought single sheets and they look ok if you fold them under the mattress to cover all the extra material.. LOL

Well last night was another good night!! both kids in bed by 9pm (her last feed was around 7.30) and didn't hear a peep out of her until 7.30 this morning!!! Such a good girl letting mummy and daddy sleep.. NOW.. if only DS would follow her lead....:rolleyes:

I'm so cut at my MIL at the moment - don't know what the hell is going on with them but GEEZ.. she is pi$$ing me off...

Tenny: YAY for the thongs! Its nice to treat yourself...problem is when I go out to buy something for myself, I can't find anything I like!

SW: Your house is gorgeous! So fresh and clean looking! Glad you enjoyed the movies

Zee: Oh no about the baby oil! Jayden emptied a full jar of Nutrarich oil all over his floor a few months ago, you can probably see it in the photos of his room on FB. I don't know if I was more upset over the carpet which was pretty new or the $50 jar of nutrarich oil he wasted LOL

Kell: Glad Keira's needles went ok. Well done to you to for holding back those tears haha. Poor Jesse must have been so tired! Jayden has fallen asleep at the table a couple of times, one time I just saved him from face planting his dinner LOL!

Tasia: I'm a bit the same with driving anywhere in the city, I used to work in the city but not anywhere near crown or centre of the city.....I get a bit nervous driving where I don't know where I'm going. When I was pregnant with and after I had Jayden I used to cry at anything on TV, I cried once when someone won A Price is Right showcase! Another time there was a baby who had died I think it was the one who's mum let go of the pram and it went into the river, they showed the funeral on TV and there was a video of the baby...I was bawling my eyes out as the baby was close to Jayden's age...it just really got to me!

Belle: What happened? Hope all is ok!

Missy: LOL poor Liam! I do that to Ashlea too, you dont think they are going to get such a fright from it! Hope everything goes ok at your sisters!

Feeb: Is there a park with a playground and a cafe or something nearby, heaps of room for prams, we can get coffee/food etc and Jayden can go nuts on the playground. (Mez, saw your post afterwards haha).

Hi to everyone I missed

I was reading Jayden a book last night and there was a bit that says "who makes the milk?" So Jayden asnwers "You do mummy" I laughed and said no the cow makes the milk....Hmm hope he wasn't implying I'm a cow LOL I told him I make Ashlea's milk but a cow makes him....don't know if he understood haha.
We have a friend coming over today with her 2 kids for a playdate...If it doesn't rain like it did yesterday we might get to the park. Have a great day everyone!

Tan - you know, if there was work up there for us, I'm sure DH and I would have no hesitation living up where you guys are!!!

Start looking for jobs then! LOL There is a lot of work up here if you're not fussy what you do, but if you want to stay in the field your in (or DH) then its a bit harder.

Its only 9am and Jayden is already driving me insane! How do you make them listen!! All his cars have gone in the "bin" this morning because he wouldn't put them away. Am I asking too much of him and should I just be cleaning up after him? He packs things away in the right spots at day care and if we are at the shops he has to put things back where he got it from (not cause i tell him either) but at home its like he doesn't know the concept of packing up. :dunno:

Tan - dunno, I have the same problem here. I just feel like I'm constantly yelling at DS.. wednesday was a VERY bad day here - so no advice - but LOTS of sympathetic hugs for you honey..

How's the job situation up there for architectural technicians?!?!!?? Just wondering... hehe

Jayden has settled down a bit now. We aren't having our playdate today now cause my friend's DS had just gone to sleep and won't wake for hrs and her washing machine broke so she has to go to her MIL's...Gives me a chance to do some house work that I should have done yesterday! Oh and fix up Ashlea's room too. We have friends coming to stay for a few days next week so they can stay in there. I think I will be putting Ashlea in her own room when we get back from Melc :( its gonna be sad!

Mel: There are HEAPS of Architectural Technician positions here LOL nah not really...Shame though would be great having you guys up here! Chris talked about moving to SC when we were still in Melb....Maybe one day, all though I love it up here.

This boy just wont sleep, i spend most of the day pacing the house trying to get him to sleep. He is in my arms ATM cause as soon as I put him down he wakes!

Awww Zee its so hard when they are like that.. he doesnt' sleep in the swing or anything? Miss M had a short nap earlier today (20 mins) then i got her up and she sat around just giggling at me, had a feed, sat around for a bit longer, and then I put her on her back in her cot, she wasn't happy, so I put her on her belly.. zappoooo off to sleep... she woke up half an hour later - went back in stuck dummy in.. and she's still sleeping!!!! (this is nearly an hour ago...)

Something keeps happening and I keep losing my post! Finally got it after typing it in notepad first!

Zee: Hope Lucas sleeps for you soon hun! Is he unsettled or just not sleeping? Can you try wrapping him? Or on his tummy as Mel suggested? J liked his tummy but I only put him to sleep that way during the day, I was too paranoid overnight.

Mel: Yay for M sleeping! How long did she sleep for? Or is she still asleep??

What is everyones babies sleeping now? We are all approaching or have approached the 3mth mark is anyone finding their babies are getting into a routine yet or still all over the place? Ashlea is sort of in a routine: This is so far today
Wake: 6.15am
Sleep: 8am
Wake: 9am
Sleep: 10am
Wake: 12.30pm
Sleep: 2pm
Wake: 3.05pm but I just put her dummy back in and hoping she goes back to sleep
Yesterday was a different story, she didn't want to sleep much and other days she will have a huge 3.5hr sleep at lunch time. What she has done today is pretty much normal but she is still all over the place.

Hmm.. routine hey.. changes nearly every day but this is the gist of it..

Wake up: 7.30
Bed: 9.30
Awake: 10
Bed: 12.30
Awake: 1.30/200
Currently still awake but will try to put her to sleep in her swing..
Then at night
Sleep: 8pm (or 8.30 if feeding at 8)
Wake - 7.30am :)

Well we are back from the baby expo. Man there were lots of babies and prams there... didn't buy much just little things, I did get Izzy to try out the Jolly jumper and she absolutely LOVED it, giggling and having a ball so I've decided that it will be one of the pressies she gets for Christmas!!

Routine I wouldn't say routine but here we go.

i am also home from expo!!!!!!!!!!!!! so knackered!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! didnt buy much either got subscription to mother and baby and practical parenting! cheaper and with free goodie bags!!!!

jacob also love jolly jumper!!! i was going to buy 1 but babyco stand didnt want to serve people wanted to chat to each other and baby bunting had none with stands at expo to sell!!!

was great too see jess and maz even if for only 5 mins!!!

soooooooooooooooooo many bags of free stuff!!!!!!!!

routine here varies but pretty much

up between 0600 and 0800 somewhere for feed
bed between 0700 and 0900 for hr or so unlesss we need to be somewhere at 0930 eg exercise class
then feed when he wants during day some cat naps
bath between 1830 and 2030

feed and bed between 2200 and 0100 till we start again

Howdy all..

Well had another lovely day out with Kristy her boys. Am buggered now though. And if you were wondering what the high pitch sounds you heard sometimes today was, that was Jesse chucking a tanty!! **** can he scream!!!!!!!! lol so embarrassing. All because he didnt need to have his nappy changed. It sounds like im murdering him seriously! So joyful!

Keira has been perfectly fine after her needles! I wonder if it was the panadol that made the difference between her and Jesse. If anything she was alot more settled (than her already really settled self lol) today. She just slept most of the day at the shops and otherwise was pretty happy. Bought her some cute little shoes.. some pink volleys and pink dorothy the dinosaur slip ons that were on sale. So cute!

Missy.. hope youre sister is ok, im sure she would have been so happy to see you. lol re the pillow.. typical male!! I wake up with DH on mine sometimes!!! Oh yay Liam!!! And lol re the video! I wanna see that one!!

Pixie.. yep i know!!! When Keira was waking during the night i was loving watching Playboy Mansion and Denise Richards at that time lol. I also found it a saviour with the kids channels when Jesse had his gastro and we were up all hours of the night.

Mez.. oh yay thats so good!! Well done Izzy!!!! Looks like shes on a roll and is the start of a perfect sleeping beauty!! Hope you had fun at the expo!

Tannis.. lol re the milk. Oh kids say the funniest things hey! Hope you took some pics of those falling asleep at the table incidents! ;)

Zee.. hope you sort something out with him soon. Maybe he has wind issues or something? Have you taken him to see the doctor? Might be an idea just to get him checked out incase theres a reason hes so unsettled and wont sleep for long periods. My nephew never slept very well at all and they ended up finding he had a lot of ear infections due to the tube going from his ear to his throat not being big enough.. as he got older it grew and fixed itself.. but least they could give him some stuff the clear the liquid in there.

Ok.. our routine..
Keira will sleep for any amount of time between feeds. I dont really time it or plan it.. or insist on any certain amount of time. She just sleeps when shes tired.
6.30am-9am: wake + bottle
10.30am-12pm: Bottle
3pm-3.30pm: Bottle
6pm-6.30pm: Bottle
9pm: Bath (every 2nd-3rd night)
9.30pm: Bottle then bed
Thats pretty much it. Times may very, depending if shes asleep when feed times are due.. if she is ill wake her once it hits the 4 hours mark.. and generally work it out so her bottles are 3-4 hours apart with the last bottle always at 9.30pm and she goes straight to bed after it.

Evening.

Zee - It's just a PC game. It's called CSI: Hard evidence I think. I'm sorry your DS isn't sleeping for few long. I don't know how you do it but I think you're doing a fantastic job. Does you DH always work really late? My DP finishes at 5, and I'm usually hanging out for him to finish by 4:30. :hug: :hug:

SW - Glad you had a great night out. As much as I'm dying to get out of the house kidless, I always feel bad too. It sucks.

Kell - I hope Keira was ok today after her needles.

Missy - Awh, Liam's such a good boy. Isn't it funny how such small people can take up so much of the bed and hog the blankets and pillows too. LOL!

Belle - Is Tara having a reaction to the needles? I hope not, poor little girl.

Tan - LOL @ Jayden and the milk making. Thats so cute and funny. If Elijah said that to me, I wouldn't be able to keep a straight face to explain it to him. Lol.

Pixie - Great to hear you had a wonderful night. Awh. Beth and the bear asleep together. I always take pictures of DP asleep with the boys. They are the best photos.

Our day routine was a bit off today. Bubbablue has decided he doesn't like the daytime naps today, so he's grumpy and wants me to just hold him all the time. He usually has his last bottle at 9 - 9:30pm and doesn't wake until 7 - 8am, sometimes even 9.

and OMG!!!! Last night DP and I were morphing photos and stuff. The boys so so much like me it's not funny. and morphing DS1 and DS2 together. They're almost exact, minus the eye colour basically. LOLLLLL! I must have some strong a$s genes. hehehe

So I didn't go get him weighed today. The day started of craply, DS1's fault there (no suprise), then add more Telstra issues and a grumpy bubba aswell...
