Afternoon ladies & Bear,
Well we had a lovely time today as I held our MG at our house. They all loved the house and even more so the coffee and banana cake :dance:. All the kids were great too, it's so nice to see them each week and how much they have grown. They no longer just lie there anymore they are very active lol.
A big :hello: to everyone, just had a call from my DH and he wants me to get ready in the car as we are off to my parents for dinner tonight.

Well had a nice time at kells house today. The kids all played nicely together. I enjoyed myself and Kell you have a nice house and great for kids. Thanks again. oh the carrot cake was yummmmm too:p will be back for more:dance: And the TMNT movie is reg 1 so couldnt watch on big tv had to show him on the lap top...gggrrrrr....hehehe

Oh Tenny im with you on the good babies. I have to admit Ive had 3 good babies and you know what, If I could have more I would have another I think. Oh well if i was to get a horrid/devil child. Im sure I could handle it. Im Just glad Ive got my last 2 close together so they can play with eachother.Oh and hun your a fanTasTIC mother. Dont ever thing other wise. ;)

*sigh* what a crappy day. I've just gotten DD down for the second time today - had to be persuaded by a bottle to fall asleep this time. Plus I have a really bad toothache that i've been ignoring for about 2 weeks now - but I'm havin to take really strong drugs to dull the pain so I think its time to visit the dentist - :doh:

Not much else to report. Better go do the bottles and washing up. Already done the lunches for tomorrow, DH has done the ironing for tomorrow, the house is a pigsty but thats ok - doesn't need to be perfect.. haha!!!

Pixie - I only wake Isabel during the day and only if she has slept for over 2 hours. I never wake her during the night and her last feed is a dream feed.
SW - Hope you arrived safely today and getting settled for your first night in Adelaide. Looking forward to when you log on again.
two of the babies in my MG have gotten their first tooth which is very exciting. Isabel woke at 3am and wanted to play, I tried to resettle her again without her dummy but it didn't work :( Hope she sleeps through tonight poor little chicken. Oh and I've bought and wrapped my KK going to send it tomorrow woohoo...

flight was uneventful. As per usual, a bunch of peeps wanting to get close to Alyssa going "Oh my god, look at her hair! She's beautiful!"
Got to MIL's place (well, it's our place now until the new house is built) to find that she's bought us a bar fridge and filled it with all the basics to keep us going until our stuff arrives!!! She's also left us her ADSL modem and wireless setup. So 'net straight off!
ALSO found the housewarming pressie that Bear and Pixie had sent me =)))) You guys ROCK! Hope you kept some for yourselves!!
Gotta dash - Alyssa is apparently dying of starvation! =)) Better feed the gal

Had a great day yesterday with Missy and Kristy and the kids here. The boys played in jesse's clam shells with water and on their bikes, they had the best day. We also had a great day playing with the babies.
Mez.. oh its the time for toothies to start poking through hey! none yet here though!
Mel.. thanks hun. Il have to look for some. Hope M slept through for you last night. Oh you poor thing, i know how you feel re the tooth.. not fun. Hope you can get it fixed soon.
Missy.. lol thanks. Yeh DH gets most of his DVDs from Amazon in the US. Oh glad you liked it and it turned out ok.. will have to make it again.
Tan.. thanks hun. oh well done on you public speaking! And your lamb roast, bet it was yummo! oh cute! Youll have to take some pics once its all done! Im not putting presents under our tree until Christmas Eve once Jesse's in bed. Even though we have a play pen around the tree, since his birthday he has been mad about unwrapping presents. And i just know if i put them under theyll be all opened within a day. Plus i think it will be great seeing his face on Christmas morning with all these presents under the tree.
Tenny.. yeh it could be possible hun. Just make sure you take care of yourself ok. If you ever need to chat, i usually always have MSN on while im home. I know with my anxiety atm, if i keep myself busy (like yesterday when missy and kristy were over) its not as bad and also if i have someone to talk to. So maybe if you have someone there to talk to when youre feeling down it might help. lol oh yes, but i bet they will be great mates also.

Thanks for all your support ladies. Ill have to get some of that remedy stuff. I found, like yesterday when Kristy and Missy were over with the kids, if im occupied it doesnt effect me as much. Its when im home by myself that it stews on my mind. So i guess keeping myself busy also maybe the key, not to fix it but to maybe deminish the problem.
I think i might go shopping for my KK on the weekend when i pick up Keira's christmas ball. DH aint working this weekend so will leave the kids with him and have some time out for myself.
Ok day at home today so will try and do some stuff.. even though theres not much to do hmmm.. will make some muffins for Jesse maybe.

Liam is still asleep, he woke at 5 but I put the dummy in and he went back to sleep. so thought Id jump on here. Have to go do some shopping today will do my KK as well.

Afternoon ladies & Bear.
How r we all? Just thought i'd pop in & say hello before I have to go feed Jonathan. He has been waking up all week between 2-4am, & I don't know why, I'm not bothered with it him waking I just like to know why. Everytime i give him his bottle when he wakes up in the middle of the night I do give him his bottle & he goes straight back to sleep & wakes up again at 6.00-6-30am, oh well.
Mary- glad u had a great time at mg. Yum banana :) How's gorgeous Izzy going?
Missy- I hope u get ur voice back soon sweety, take care of urself too ok.
Kel- I'm glad u had a great day with kristy & Missy. I do have someone look after Jonathan but they will ask questions & I can't be bothered really.
And ladies I hope u all are looking after urselves as well, we need to keep our strength for our little ones :) Just like to mention that, that's all :)

I bought half my KK today but I think I will get something else, I bought it for Ashlea and its really good so might get another for KK but then postage might be very pricey....will have to see.
Kell: Her room will be a while I think, niece's bf is taking his time to install the a/c's. I did get Ashlea's stocking and sack today though so I will post some pics.
SW: How nice of your MIL!! Glad everything has gone well so far and hope the cats arrive ok, my cat didn't take to flying when we moved up here, her collar was like a necklace on her from the fluid she lost.
Missy: I love losing my voice, it sounds funny what small noises do come out LOL, hope you get better soon though!
Mez: Glad MG went well, OMG at 2 already having a tooth! Who here had a tooth already?? I know someone who's 7wk old got a tooth!!
Sorry to those I missed, love to you all!! I have to get out of this room its 32.9 in here and its meant to be 33 today (it feels hotter!) I won't have time for a swim today, Ash is asleep, J is at DC I can pick him up early but xmas parade is on tonight and I want to have dinner before we go so I can't swim, cook dinner and get to the parade by 6pm I don't think.

She will be staying in my area for a few weeks too so even better. Thought I would post some photos of Beth sitting which you can find here and also put some up on FB but mostly the same ones.

Cats have arrived safely, everyone seems pretty good although Pipe keeps growling at the other two cats. Alyssa seems happy to have te cats around! Linden is absolutely FINE and loving the new scratching post that I bought for her =)))
Been a long day - absolutely exhausted. Might be time for a shower and an early night!
It's a bit quiet here today. I so thought I'd be here tonight with loads of posts to catch up on.
Mel - :hug: I hope you're feeling better today. I hope DD slept better for you too. My house is like a bomb site most of the time. I used to clean flatout just to keep up with DS1, but it was like I was constantly cleaning. Now I tidy up a couple times through the day and I'm slowly trying to gte him to keep his mess just in his room or get him to clean up after himself, which he won't at home but will at school. :rolleyes:
The time that he's not here I get so much cleaning done and the place is spotless for a short time, but hey it's still something. :dance:
Kell - I hope you have a great time on the weekend without the kids. It's nice to have some time just by yourself sometimes. I usually am hanging out for me time, but then I get it and I miss them. LOL. How'd the muffins go?
Mez - Teeth already! Damn! When they get teeth I reckon it means they're growing up and I can't deny it any longer that they're not a little tiny baby anymore. Just like when they start food and stuff like that. I'm such a sook. I hope DD doesn't do the middle-of-the-night-playtime thing again. That's gotta suck.
Missy - I hope you're not getting sick or anything. :( DS1 would think it was a game if I woke up with no voice too.
Tan - I love the Santa sack and stocking. Where did you get the Santa sack? That's the sort of thing I'd like for my boys.
SW - I'm glad everything went smoothly for you, Alyssa and the cats. WHOA! Thats a massive scratching post.How tall is it? I bet it's double my height. What a nice MIL you have! I was wondering... Does dermaveen work on cradlecap?
Pixie - Beth sits up great! Those pictures are adorable. Bubbablue sits up like that but not for very long. Have a fantastic time out to dinner.
Tasia - What time is his last bottle at night before he goes to bed? Maybe he's having his last bottle too eary to last through, or maybe it's time to start some farex? I'm not sure, sorry. We try to make Bubbablue's at around 8:30-9pm.

He goes from tummy to back. I was suprised and thought he'd go the other way first but :dunno:
The only thing is I haven't actually seen it. Hahaha. I just seem to have to walk out of the room to DS1 or turn my back and miss it. DP has seen it though.
He's all up on his knees to with his head still on the ground so it's this big bum in the air . :rolf:
Today DS1 had another orientation at big school. It was just the morning until after recess. This time it we just dropped him there and left, instead of staying and going to another room to get info and all that jazz. I knew he'd do good, so I wasn't worried.
Next week he goes over the lunch period in the middle of the day. It's exciting but then it makes me actually face that he'll be there all the time next year.
The place feels so empty when he's not around and it's just Bubbablue and me. It's so weird. I know I'll be lovin' it after I get used to it though just like this year when he started preschool. Lol.
I've rambled heapppps. Sorry.

has anyone else got their bubbas on farex/solid foods? With the farex If i give that to jonathan at 8am when should i give him his bottle? I was thinking of starting him with farex in the next few weeks, cause everytime i eat he watches me & sometimes has his mouth open :(
I have not started Jacob yet and dont plan on it till nearly 6 months.
He follows me eating and today throw himself to my bowl of shpes Lol
When you first start solids it is more of a game as they only have like a teaspoon at a sitting.
so you could give it to him and give him a bottle 30 mls to and hr after.
Tasia: the world health organisation recommends not starting on solids until at least 5 months, preferably closer to 6. Starting solids too early has been shown to increase risk of food allergies. Jonathan is getting pretty close to the recommended minimum now, so you should be just about good to go!
Alyssa has been following the food that I eat with big, sad eyes (and even emulating chewing motions!!) since she was just a few weeks old... She makes me feel guilty at every meal unless she's sleeping!! Hasn't worked to get her a taste yet, and isn't going to until she's 6 months!! ;)
I've let her have a sip of water from my glass, though. She loves the action (and knew what to do straight off), but isn't so keen on the water and just spits it out onto her bib =)
Tenny - yes, it is a huge scratching post! But even so, it's not half the size of one that a friend of mine has over in London!! Hers even has two ladders going up it =))) Suffering major scratching-post-envy ;)
Alyssa is in bed (hopefully down for the night), so think I might follow suit. Utterly exhausted - been a huge few days - even Alyssa agrees! Waves to all
