Just an ultra quick one from me as it is DH's b'day today and I am trying to get a dinner organised for that and also pack up so we can get away on our holiday tomorrow (yay!) at a reasonable hour  .
Pup woke up 3 times last night. OMG. I dunno how you girls that still have to get up a few times int he night do it. I'm nearly dead this morning. Pup has been waking once in the middle of the night for the past 2 weeks or so, but I can handle that. He does go straight back to sleep after a quick feed so that's ok. I tried just sticking the dummy in instead of a feed last night - NO WAY. It was just easier to give himthe boob. I think he woke up because he had his head smooshed up against the bars of the cot and when I got him out, he had little red dings in the top of his head.
This has been happening at least once a day during a sleep. If I go in to check and his head is up against the rails, I spin him round and cross my fingers that he don't wake up. I know that you're not supposed to have bumpers or anything in the cot because of suffocation risk, but what can I do?? I've tried putting a couple of smallish stuffed toys in there with him to try and cushion his head, but he generally plays with them and chucks them out of the cot just prior to going to sleep.
Frustrating.
I've been recording in the TTC forum, but just to let you know, that I am getting nowhere with TTC #2 atm. My cycle is up the river atm - I am about CD34 and no sign of AF. And yeah, before you all get too excited, I have done HPTs and they have all come up BFN. Even did one this morning. I guess my cycle is getting back to normal (I definately have had a full on AF 34 days ago), but it is so frustrating when I used to have 28 days smack on and now that I NEED AF to arrive so I can get TTC again........WHERE ARE YOU????
Oh god, I better go or the day will be done and I'll be still doing things at midnight to get ready for tomorrow.
-
Deb, congrats on the test, fluked or not, well done. Hard when DH is MIA, enjoy your Al and mum time!!!
Happy birthday to DH Hay, and enjoy your holiday!! Hope you got everything happening!!! Baby dreams to you.
Brooke, I hope Maya gets better REAL SOON!!! Its dreadful when they dont understan why they feel so cr*p isnt it?? I hope you get some  soon!!!
Kate, yeha on the good sleep. You should have had a sleep yourself!!!! I know what you mean, tidying out Dions too small clothes, and putting in his to grow into clothes are on my weekend list of things to do ( and vaccuum alll the sand out of the car from last weekend!!) Sad when you cant even scoff your twisties LOL
Bel, I hope coby's tum clears up soon!!
-
:confetti: That's so so wonderful Brooke!!! :confetti: I'm really happy for you both! Are you thinking about when yet, or just basking in this happiness for now? Can I ask how he proposed? I love these stories :) Poor lil Maya's in the wars! Sending lots of get well soon, painfree teething & vibes to her!
Bel - Hope Coby gets better soon! Atleast he's still really active.
Deb - WTG passing the test!! Al sounds like he's doing great.
Hayseed - I got a bumper from BabyCo that's supposedly SIDS safe, it's meant to let air flow still or something. I had to, Adara and Ryan would never sleep from 6-12mths old w/out it. Really helps with rolling over in their sleep so legs don't get caught outside, and with head squishs. I would think it'd be safer than toys as you tie it to the cot (and sometimes even stays tied lol). Lots of :pdust: your way, really hope things work themselves out for you soon. Enjoy your holiday!
I'm going to a wedding tomorrow and still don't have a dress ARGH!!! My fave dress shop closed down everywhere except for 1 store that's not too close to me and I just can't find one I like anywhere else. So, I'm off to the 1 shop they left open with both the kids :(
-
Mel, bumma about your fav dress shop being closed ](*,) Its always the way hey?? I just find a really comfy pair of nickers and they stop making them, or a favorite lippy color and again its gone!!!
Well Dion is finallly settling to sleep without wrapping!!! I have to pat his bum for 1 -2 minutes, but thats not too bad!!!! Last 2 nights he has been awake most of the night, dont know why??? Still no signs of teeth. Only started not wrapping yesterday for day sleeps, and so far so good.
Tahlis is starting to heal, well starting to peel anyway LOL. School, holidays as of today, so have to think of activities now!!!! NOT going to the beach, the pool only!!!!

Hi all,
We have been celebrating Al turning 8 months this weekend! DH has been here since Friday and its been heavenely to be a little family again. We were at some markets yesterday and picked up a little second hand wooden wagon for Al, and he loves it. He is stands and holds it and was walking and pushing it around today, with a bit of help! He is definately not ready to go alone yet, but it is so wonderful to see him happy about trying.
Sorry that I don't have time for personals this evening. Just wanted to come in and say hi and all's well. I hope you all have had a great weekend. And that those bubs that have been unwell are on the mend now.
-
hi mumma's and bubbas
just a quick update. oscar is crawling (comando style) and certainly gets around our 32 square home quickly. so cute.
hope all's well with all
beckles
-
Brooke, oh no. Have you tried a humidifier/vaporizer?? What about the vicks on the chest? The cot head raised, or the "shower" steam treatment??? When Dions chest is bad, i sleep upright in a chair with him sorta over my shoulder. He can breathe easier this way.
Beckles, wow wanta trade houses?? Dion keeps me busy enough and we only have 18 squares ( much tooo small for my family, but have to wait a few years to trade up LOL)
I agree is too quiet in here!!!
Caz, am sooo jealous, Rianna is shocking with the training , have tried a few times, but she just pee's everywhere!!! I figure will just wait a little longer, and let her do it herself, but WTG LUCY!!!!!!! Good to hear the physio is helping.
Deb, I think the kids all love those good old wooden wagons, the basic things are sometimes so much more worthwhile than fancy new things hey!! Happy 8 months!!!!
Kate, have you had to move up clothes, or are they just starting to feel constricting??? Come on Kelsey, let mummy have a couple of nights, please.........
Well we are back to wrapping Dion overnight, as he was awake all the time, so I just go in before I go to bed and wrap him ( after he's asleep so he doesnt immediately unwrap ) then he sleeps all night. He has a paed visit on Thurs so will hope to have some answers re his chest, and of course its been really good this week!!! DOH.
Has any other boys mums had any probs with the testes being undescended???? Dions "float" they come down, but go back up again... Dont know at what age this becomes a prob. MHN said he might need an op to secure them down. Will ask the paed on Thurs, but does anyone know at what age its a prob???????
Kate, on my to do list, mmmm all I got done was Dions clothes sorted out ( you inspired me!!) Tahlis is starting to peel for the second time!!! ( and still looks red underneath, so could be a third to come) Everyone else is completely normal?? again LOL
Went to the INDOORS pool on sunday, whole family are water babes so all had a good time, then went to visit MIL, as her exfiancee ( together 10 yrs, broke up 4 months ago)had a stroke, which has obviously affected his mental status, coz he's sending her REALLY nasty emails about money matter from when they were together, so we took a box of chockies and a card over to cheer her up. so that was sunday over!!!
OOOOOh sorry girls I didnt realise the size of this post, will go and do some work hehe
-
Good luck with it Brooke, ( Dion went swimming at 7 weeks for the first time, now he crawls in and out of the baby pool on his own, big time water lovers here)
Hee hee wealth of info, after 4 kids and with Dions crappy chest we have tried just about everything to help. he may wiggle a bit, but I usually tuck one arm under my armpit, and just get the other waving, I dont look at him or talk, and I pat the bum, rythmically and that seems to do the trick.
There are all strengths and severity of croup, it more discribes what part of the chest is involved.
-
Hi guys, how are you all, sorry no time for personals, just a quick update, things have been REALLY hectic around here.
Coby is STILL sick, although, its something different now, he has a middle ear infection and is making him absolutely miserable  I think it was part of his cold before and its just developed into this, its horrible for him. We are supposed to be flying this weekend to Melbourne for the Commonwealth Games, but I don't know whether he'll be able to fly with his ear like that....Dunno what to do, has anyone else had this problem?
Other than that, Coby tried toast for the first time, has also tried Weetbix (which he loves) and avocado and Ginger Nut biscuits which he also really loves, good for the teething cause they are soooo hard! He's still crawling like a commando but getting quicker everyday and is now saying "Mum" all the time.
-
vanita noooo way am i trading houses. we were in a 14 square house paid it off and then removed the house and re-built on the block. we are in blackburn and property skyrocketed so we wanted to stay.
brooke the quicker maya can handle lumps the better for you, trust me it's so much easier not to have to give pureed food.
kate wow at baby bump yay for you.
caz how much longer do you have to do physio for cole?
deb happy 8 months to Al
bel sorry about poor coby still being sick - hugs
mel how did your wedding go did you find a spiffy frock

beckles
-
beckles, yet again I turn green with envy!!! I have had 5 hrs sleep, and am well and truelly up now! DOH, I should go for a walk ( couldnt do 8 kms, be dead!!!)
Mel, did you find a dress???
Hay are you, DH and pup having a fabulous holiday?? Dont know if you'll be in before you get home, but if you do, have a great one!!!!
Bel, sorry Coby has an ear infection I hate ear infections, the kids are sooo miserable. Never had to consider flying though, call your gp and ask his advice about it, when are you supposed to go, and how long will Coby have been on antis???
-
Yeah, my post baby belly has gone, its hidden underneath all the extra fat and skin hanging there LOL
WTG on losing the weight Brooke!!!
-
Vanita, Coby has had the ear infection since Sunday, antibiotics started yesterday (monday) and we are flying at midday on Sunday, what do you think?? Is it ok for him to fly?
-
Yeah I would probably fly with him, as its only a short flight, and he should be finished ( or close to) his anti's If you're really worried get him checked by gp on friday or saturday. But make sure he's sucking a dummy on take off and landing to help the ears pop IYKWIM.
Hehe Brooke, ooooh I wish I was joking LOL
-
OOOh I forgot to tell you all, dion is FINALLY showing signs of a toofie peg!!! we have that clear line on his gum, so any minute now my buddy boy will have his first fang!!! We were begining to think he's need dentures by 1 LOL \:D/
-
Hi girls,
I am back...well sort of. I haven't been on for 7 weeks and have 255 pages to catch up on which I don't think I can do!! Have missed you all.
Congratulations Kate!!!! Rachel told me you were pg, I am so happy for you.
Congratulations on your engagement Brooke, sorry to hear Maya is sick. Good on you for losing 8kg.
Yay on the tooth Dion!.
Have had a quick scan though the personals and will make some time to catch up properly. Life has been so busy. We have sold our house and bought one almost 3 times the size in Pakenham Vic. It is an ex-display house and is on the net if anyone wants to see it. Just post in here and I will e-mail the link. Got a promotion at work and was in Sydney last week for 3 days. It was the first time I have left Amy but she coped better than me.
Amy is doing great. She has 4 teeth and is crawling everwhere. She says Da da dad... and mum mum sort of and lots of other sounds. She is so cute when she talks to herself. She pulls herself up on furniture really well and walks along it. She is eating everthing we give her and is drinking from a straw. We will be weaning her off bottles in the next few months and just giving her milk with a cup. She was getting a bit scared when her friend who is 3 weeks older was squealing when they were playing so we took her to two indoor play centres on the long weekend, Monkey G and Lollipops and she had lots of fun. We need her to have more socialisation with other babies and mothers group has died out as no-one is going. Thought of doing a BB meet so the babies can socialise.
We are still TTC. BD once or twice is not really making an effort so if I am not pg this time will have to try a bit harder. Currently in the TWW so will let you know.
Have a great day. Couldn't sleep so I thought it was perfect BB time.
-
Hi Gemma, congrats on the house we will have to catch up!!!! When do you move in???\
Fingers crossed for the TWW. babydust your way
Oh and would love to see it, if you want to email me....
-
Hey Gemma, good to have you back! Congrats on the promotion and the new house, things are really going well for you hey!! Would love to see your new house also, you can email me on the link below....
Hi everyone else, where is everyone these days?
-
Dion is funny, he wont eat lumpy baby food, only smooth ( like yoghurt, custards etc) AND our food ( real cauli, broccoli, potato, toast, sandwiches etc) No inbetweens LOL
-
Hi Kate, yeah it was me, Coby won't eat any lumps, he gags on them all the time, I think as the paediatrician suggested, he'll always have a strong gag reflex because of the reflux issues earlier on. I can't believe that all the bubs we know that are his age are eating toast and sandwiches etc, and he is still on yoghurts and custards etc, mostly pureed stuff or really well mashed.....
-
Well just been to Paed. He's happy with Dions development, and the dimetapp for the overmucous on the chest, no real answers yet, will have to wait and see if he develops asthma ( highly likely)
Dontknow if I previously mentioned but Dions testes "float" they dont stay descended much, quite often the scrotal sac is empty!! Paed says his penis looks normal ( good to know hey LOL) but we need to keep an eye on the testes for the next ....... yrs????
Big girls are at the games watching the gymnastics with my parents.
He has an internal birhtmark they may need removing in future, we are just keeping an eye out.
-
Hiya Fletchie
An internal birthmark was a lump we found on his shoulder blade when he was a few days old, its slightly purple and feels like a little pea. Lakeisha had one on top of her skin ( a strawberry one, and its the size of two 50c pieces) they usually fade, hers is only pink and is flat now, and is about a 20 c piece size. But was thick and purple, and pulsing. Dions is down under the skin, so they cant be 100% sure its not something nasty, but they are failry sure its a birthmark ( which are genetic, I had one, and so did my mother)
Apparently, the testes grow in utereo up near the kidneys and only descend after birth, they are on a cord, which connects them, most little boys descend and stay down, Dions were down in the first few months, but at the MHN visit in Jan she noticed they'd gone up again. They are connected to a muscle by these tubes, and when cold the muscle clenches to tuck them up to keep them warm, Paed told me how sumo wrestlers develop this muscle, so they can retract the testes at will!!!!!
Anyway since MHN visit have paid attention to them, and noticed they are very rarely down anymore. Paed could gently bring them down, so they are not fused up there, but can happen, so we neeed to keep a close eye on them LOL 8-[ Thats why Dr's and MHn are concientious about checking each time, coz they can suck up!!!! ;)
Asthma is highly prevalent in mine and DH's family, we already have the big pump for Lakeisha, so am not looking forward to the torments of the future.
-
All this testes stuff is new to me, the girls were sooo different!!!
Hey does anyone elses little boys fiddle with the little fella when naked,??? Dion seems to spend all his time in the bath or shower with his hand on it 8-[ i keep telling him it'll fall off from misuse ;)
-
I have heard that lil boys do it from early on Vanita but Sammy hasnt found his yet :-k
Jo
-
Dion scrunches it, and yanks it, and twists it?????
The other day the base was fat and purple, I presume it was a lil hard on??? No Idea!!!!!
-
Nope he's whole !!! ( bone of contention between DH and myself, ) shhhh hasnt come up in conversation since he was born !!!!!
He is a roughie, I wonder what he'll be like when he grows up ( DH assures me that at any age, no fella would hurt it !!!)
-
:cryinglaugh: he he he girls, just reading your posts on wee wee's!!
Coby LOVES his, but he's also very rough, he sorta mashes it up and I wince when I see it, but its obviously not hurting him or he'd stop, he just loves it.
Like I've always said, its their best friend from the time they are born!! :smt047
-
Hey Kate, LOVE the new avatar! Looks great! If you have a boy you'll be fine, Im not a boy and I know what to do, in fact, I babysat my friend's little girl Maya a couple of weeks ago (she's the same age as Coby) and I didn't know what to do. Seems pretty silly really considering I've got the same as her, but it was just awkward IKYWIM 8-[
Brooke, sounds like Maya is on the mend, poor little chicken, what exactly happens with croup? Is it just a big horrible coughing thing?
We're off to the Dr again today, Coby has had a mild reaction to the antibiotics, he's broken out in some rashy thing, not bad but I know its there and if I continue to give the medication to him, it might make him sick. Has anyone had any sort of experience with this type of thing?
-
Hi everyone :)
Been offline for a week, damn puter! Freaked out cos a couple mths after Ry was born our hard drive died and we lost HEAPS of pics (4-6mths worth & almost all of Ryan's birth 'n 1st weeks :smt022) We hadn't been able to back em up again now as our burner wasn't working. Anyway it's all good, didn't lose anything and its all running with a brand new burner.
Yes, I got a gorgeous dress! Ended up going late night shopping with a gf which was lucky cos that 1 shop I thought was left had also shut down. So trapzed around 'the fashion capital' for ages. Chaddy's fantastic if you've got hours of free time to walk around it and a spare $700+ to spend on a designer but since I was hoping not to fit into this dress the next on big occasion I found it quite hard. Got a dusty pink, halter neck, pleated satin dress from Review(similar M. Munroe's famous 1 with the wind gust thingy). Cost a lot more than I planned but..... DA DA.. \:D/ I GOT IT IN A SZ 8!!! WOOHOO! \:D/ So I should still be able to wear it when the last 10kgs comes off me :)
Took Ryan to MCHN today. He weighed 7.3kgs at 8.5mths old, officially giving me 2 babies that are below the 3% mark. Oh well. I can't worry about it, he eats well and is alert and happy. She told me to give him alot of high fat dairy, avocado, meat, etc but I already had been, BTDT with Adara over n over again. I'm sure they've just got fast metabolisms. His length was 70cms which is ok.
I'll be back with personals soon :)
-
Yay they're both in bed! Wow, just checkin out my body in the av! \:D/
Brooke - OMG, croup??! *HUGS* to you all! I bet you're glad you're not doing your prac now with everything Maya's going through. [-o< things ease up with her soon. Well done with your weight loss!! =D>
Yeah I knew when DH was going to propose too, on Valentines Day he told me we were going for a picnic at a lake and that I was going to get an "extra special surprise" So much for the surprise! lol. Didn't take away from the excitement though and it was still beautiful :) When she's 2 would be a great time.
Deb - Happy 8mths Al! Thats so gorgeous you celebrate the mths too O:)
Kate - *HUGS* I know how difficult it is being super exhausted while pg & never able to sleep on top of it. Sleep whenever you can and I'll keep my :crossfingers: Kelse sleeps a lot more soon. I'd love to see your bump too!
Bel - wow, sorry to hear Coby has an ear inf. Adara had them constantly at about the same age, lasted about 6mths on & off. She's had fluid in her ears ever since that won't drain and now has significant hearing loss b/c of it, needing grommets. For the infection, I don't think there's much else you can do other than antibiotics and a vapouriser for the snuffles. It's common for babies to still have fluid once the inf's cleared, so I would take him back to your Dr to get em checked afterwards. If there's still some there, you can try Demazin or Dimetap to clear up his ears and sinises before it becomes a prob later. I found they didn't really help for Adara but hers was quite extreme. Claratyne works alot better for her but she gets hayfever too. I'd speak to your Dr about the best one for him, if it ever gets to that. No idea about the flying?
Beckles - =D> on your walking!! WTG girl! How wonderful your boys are so good together :)
Hi Gemma! Amy sounds like she's doing wonderfully (and so do you!) :) I'd LOVE to do a BB meet for the babies! Can you email me the link too pls? All the best TTC :luck:
Vanita - I always wondered why the MCHN gave his testes a pinch, never thought to actually ask her though lol. That sums up how much help I am on that, sorry!
Ryan fiddles a lot too n I'm sure it'll keep going for a looong time.... Adara also fiddles with it in the bath, she finds it hillarious esp when he wees but he doesn't when she grabs on! She's always grabbed at herself too making nappy changes fun. With the boy thing, I'm finding even little things strange.. like choosing socks! I'm sure I bought him girls socks. Do boys have those ankle ones you fold down?
Well I've babbled on and on for long enough! Love to all xx
-
Hi girls,
Brooke, you will be busy studying and I don't think you are crazy. Good on you for enrolling. Glad Maya is better now poor little thing.
Mel, size 8!!! That's great, your dress sounds gorgeous. I'm sure Ryan will put in some more weight soon but at least you are not worried about him and he is fine. I will organise a baby meet up when life settles down a bit.
Bel, Amy hasn't been on any medication or had a rash so I'm not much help but I hope the rash goes away and he doctor sorts it out with the antibiotics.
Vanita, would love to catch up when we move. LOL at Dion, he does sound rough! Boys are harder to change than girls. I was changing my 6 week old nephew and had to manouver things around to clean up his pooey bum. He actually pooed all over me with a projectile one. I was a mess but luckily it didn't smell as he is bf.
Hi Fletch. Hi Kate, hope you are not feeling so tired.
Thanks all for the welcome back, I will send you the link soon. Amy has another toof, so that makes 5. She has 3 on the top and one of her middle ones hasn't arrived so she has a gap. She is also kissing which is just poking her toungue out and sort of licking. Amy has a new word too 'Cookie' because I always ask her where her little Cookie Monster is in the car. It is a broken 'Cooookkk eeeee' but she is so cute. We are off the the Pakenham Show today and a christening tomorrow so will catch you later. Have a great weekend.
-
Mel, thats great that you got a dress wow size 8 ( I havent been a size 8 ladies, except when I was about 12 yrs old LOL)
Dion has fold down sox, ( some are blue with trucks n things, so def boys!!!)
Hey Brooke I think youre very smart, to get more qualifications but with very little "school" time, wtg on using what you have for RPL's.
Gemma, was going to go to the show today, but DH has gone to help someone move house today, and we have to go to the gembrook show this arvo, to support a friend, whom has just started a new venture.
ROTFLMAO at the projectile poo!!! Dion is the only one to ever do that to me ( which he did at a few weeks old, so no smell either, just very unexpected!!!)
Bel, yes it sounds like a reaction to the medication, what did the Dr say??? and are you able to fly on Sunday???
Dion has been the best kisser , started at about 3 months, doesnt tongue, just opens his mouth and goes straight for my mouth, so cute!!!!
-
Congrats Zane on the Toofie peg!~!!!
Dion got his first toof thursday, and his second today!! Bottom right, and top right!!!, dont need to buy him dentures after all LOL, didnt seem to bother him overmuch. Had his 6 month injections yesterday, and has been a bit grumpy since ( has had them all late as they didnt want to give them at first coz of his chest!!
-
WTG Zane and WTG Dion too. They'll be able to eat steak now!! tee he he!
Coby is doing well, he's getting better after his cold and ear infection. I think he's finally feeling better, he seems much more like his old self now, thank goodness!!
We are off to Melbourne tomorrow morning for the Commonwealth Games, should be good, a nice break away. I've never been to Melbourne before, so it will be nice to visit. Any tips on where to go from you locals??
-
Like anywhere the zoo, and the aquarium are great. How long are you staying, are you seeing much of the games???
We are just going to the gymnastics on Friday, the girls went with my mum and dad on thursday.
If you feel like travelling phillip island fairy penguin parade is fab!!!
Glad Coby is better ( thought he should be LOL) hows his rash???
-
Hi everyone,
We are well here. Keeping very busy. I am spending all my spare time (ie when Al is asleep) studying for this Danish course. There seems to be one exam after another at this stage. Next one is on Wednesday so I am hitting the books again this weekend. DH is working all weekend day and night too.
Luckily, Al is fab. Still commando crawling, trying to stand and walk, no new teeth still just the bottom two, no real words and he hasn't found his willy yet! LOL. He's a real joy to be with, he loves music and has lots of musical toys that he prefers to play with. We also have a piano which he bangs on everyday.
We have started spending a half an hour each day at the infants playground across the road. Usually we are on the swings and on the mini-fort there. He loves it. There is still snow around but its getting warmer (not minus anymore)and more springlike finally, so its easier to stay outdoors for longer. There are usually lots of kids around so it nice for him to see some other faces and good for me to practise my Danish on some little ones who don't speak english.
We had a babysitter on Thursday and went to see The Proposition (by Nick Cave). It was very bloody and violent but cult classic stuff. Al was as good as gold for the babysitter so she has agreed to come and do it more often, which is great. She is a young Aussie girl I go to school with so its all good.
Better get back to the study. Will be back online as soon as I can.
Kisses all round to those gorgeous munchkins and hugs to the mummas

Hi girls,
we are back from our holiday to Kangaroo Island. So much has been going on...there is no way I can respond, so I'll just start from here!!
Holiday was great, but ended up doing a bit more driving than I would have liked and poor Pup was getting heartily sick of the car seat. But he was exceptionally good seeing as he didn't really have a routine as such while away.
He had his first visit to the beach while in KI - wasn't too thrilled about the experience neither! It was a windy day and there were waves crashing in on the beach. I think the tide was coming n as well and the waves were rushing up the sand towards him. We were on a fairly skinny beach too, so there was no getting away from them. He cried when we put is feet int he water - it was very cold - but he did like playing (and eating!) in the sand.
We are still not crawling - I thought he might while we were away - and still no teeth. As like a few in here (Kelse and Dion), Pup won't touch lumpy food either. Very frustrating, espeically because he won't eat potato either. Makes for a challenging menu. We have stuck to mainly commerical bubby food while away, but I want to get back into homemade stuff now we're back.
I am on about CD40 something and still no sign of AF. I have done a couple of HPT (as recently as yesterday) and only got BFN. Maybe the AF I had (although it was full on) was a freak visit!!?? I just wish AF would show up so we can try again ASAP.
I am still BFing and we have dropped to 3 feeds a day and for some strange reason, Pup has felt the need to wake up int hemiddle of the night (for about the past 3 weeks) for a feed. So in 24hrs, he is getting 4 BFs (but the midday one is quite short). This waking in the night has me a bit stumped. He has slept through since he was 8 weeks old and NOW he decides to have nocturnal adventures. Fortunately, he feeds and then goes straight back down again...so it could be worse.
Well, best go. Loads of unpacking to do....(we had 1 bag each and the rest of the stuff (a CARLOAD) was for Pup!!!)
-
Hay glad to see you back and its good that you had a nice getaway!!! On Dions first beach visit ( 2 weeks ago) he ate lotsa sand too!! ( loved it though) That would be hard if he doesnt even eat potato. Dions middle of the day feed is pretty shocking too ( do you try to re-feed just before nap, as thats how I get that feed into Dion.) and he sometimes has one at 5 and 8 pm. I would say thats why you are having nocturnal visits. Have you tried increasing the solids intake ??? Dion will have 2 tins at dinner time now.
-
