Im away from my children and my wife right now so I only get to see little video clips of all of them. Is it messed up that I am afraid my little man will forget his daddy? So far he has not, but we still have another couple weeks or so before we will be together again!
Hi guys,
It's gone quiet on here recently, eh? I've been busy trying to cope with active toddler whilst dealing with morning sickness...not fun! I'm coming to the end of the first trimester though so hoping it's starting to end.
Sarina is still not walking (has been cruising for 3 months) but i'm in no hurry really. She's up on 2 legs most of the day holding on to things. She now loves food too which is amazing given it took her 5 MONTHS to learn to eat!!
Hope all your families are well.
Roya - hope that morning sickness leaves you soon! Corban is into walking now, all over the place and has become Mr. Independent now. Does not need any help and if you hold your hand out for him he will smack/push it away because "he is a big boy now!" LOL
I can not wait for next Sunday as I will finally get to see my 3 wonderfully baby's and my gorgeous wife after a miserable 3 weeks of being away! Heidi REALLY wants to be PG again but so far no luck. Then again, the timing of our reunion this Sunday "could" change that..LOL, then she will have to deal with the morning sickness again.
Corban has started trying to say words like brink or bink (do not remember which) which is drink and can say something that sounds a bit like Juice. He and I still have our own special language which is a popping sound with our mouth. Sometimes when he is looking for me he will walk around making that noise. I can't wait to make that noise with him again!
Mads - we (especially DW) wishes Corban would sleep as good as Freya!
As to why we are apart from each other right now, it is because I accepted a job about 250+ miles away and moved down 3 weeks sooner then they will be coming down to start work. We will be staying with my parents (this will be a somewhat rough time, especially for Heidi) until I can stash enough cash to find a place for us. Cost of living (houses) are extremely high where we will be moving.
Although you probably wish she would walk without holding your hand, I can say that I wish my little man "would" hold my hand. Sometimes I just miss that connection, taking that walk with my little boy holding hands. He has no use for that "confining" and "repressive" non-since, he is a big boy now!
yay for Freya - won't be long
Corban is a champ
guess we are all so bvbusy chasing our little walking/crawling and climbing monkeys around and moving everything to higher places and out of reach LOL.
Joel is walking about 50/50 and Sam barely walks when you hold his hand - he just melts to the floor. Both spend a lot of tiem upright. He can climb though .Both can get in/out of the little tikes cars one with a door and the one without,on/off the baby bikes and stand in the highchairs ... oh the joys of toddlerdome.
Sam likes to close the doors and sits behind crying - you can hardly get in because then because he is right in the way.
Both have been sick the last week and very 'intense' ... at the same time. Oh well I wouldn't have it any other way.
were is every one lol
bailee is walking now and talking a hole lot he can say hello, cat, mum, dad, drink, dinner, car, thomas(thomas the tank engine)nan, pa,pop the list gose on my little man has grown so quickly lol
well im off hope to talk to you all soon
the latest word for Corban is something strongly reltaed in sound to bath and does mean bath to him.
Hi everyone,
Sarina is almost walking - she can do it if I hold one hand and sometimes will stand by herself if distracted so i'm sure it's not long. No real words just yet apart from 'wap wap' (woof woof when she sees a dog) and 'beh' for water!! But she's so much fun. She adores playing peekaboo with me - constantly looking for things to hide behind and pop out of!!
We're now half way through the 2nd pregnancy - had my 18 week scan last week and it's all looking fine. One of my close friends just had a miscarriage yesterday though at 8 weeks which brought it home again just how precious pregnancy is.
so glad to hear about the PG progress (and your little Sarina's). Corban can make doggy sound and now has added a kitty sound but when asked what the cow says he reverts back to the dog! lol
This morning DW took another test (we tested last night as well) and although faint the line is still there. To be honest, the line is more noticeable with this mornings urine then it was last night (although still faint in comparison to the control line?). The difference is you pick up the test form this morning and you can definitely see the second line where as last night's test you had to look closer to see it. Perhaps we are a week early on testing since I based her LP on her previous months history but perhaps her body was going to run a normal one this month which would mean this weekend would be the end of the traditional two week wait. This Friday I would assume if we have a sticky it will be much more visible and then a trip to a DR's office would finalize the results. So, although still possibly premature (plus we traditionally have M/C prior to any successful PG/Birth), we both feel we have a :bfp:
Hi all,
Been out of the loop for a while; busy with boys and the pg - 18 weeks now.
I'm trying to get Benny into a single bed so its not a huge drama when bubs arrives in April. Just focusing on day sleep at the mo - usually have to put him back in anywhere from 2 to 10 times, most days he will fall asleep - sometimes (when I'm tired and need to go to bed) I just give him 3 chances and then put him in his cot. I will tackle night sleeps in a month or two...once we have a guard on the bed. In the meantime lots of cushions on the floor!
Benny is walking and talking and using alot of his signs.
If anyone has any advice re getting Benny into the bed I would really appreciate it - I'm just trying this way out.
We have our 20 week scan in a fortnight ...will we have a boy (number 3!!!!) or a girl (which I'd kinda like!)
Hugs to all,
Cle xx
LOL, no advice here. We are still trying to figure out how to: A) get him to go to bed, and B) get him to sleep through the night (actually, anything longer than 20 - 40 minutes would be good)!
Good luck with that Dustmite! The hardest part with Benny boy is not laughing when he walks out of his room with a huge grin on his face!! Itry to avoid any eye contact and just say 'bedtime'. Its harder when DH is home - he laughs and talks to him! Fingers crossed on the pg test!
Hi all
Thought I'd drop in to say a quick hello! A little update and then I'll try to read some posts.
Cooper is well. A cheeky little man! He started walking at 13.5 months and is now starting to run and also trying to jump up and down (very cute). He doesn't say much, just "dada", "mama" and "ta", used correctly. He has said a number of other words before (such as "dog", "duck", "hello" and more) but then never said them again! Everything is just "dat, dat, dat" which gets a high pitched squeal at the end if he's really excited. He does have his own babbling language though which is hilarious.
He loves keys and locks, anything with wheels (especially bicycles and motorbikes), wearing my high heels (!), the outdoors and water. He has mastered the art of chucking tantrums although I am sure they'll get much worse!!!
He's got 12 teeth with the eye teeth on the way.
I'm still BFing. Just the night time feed now. He's great with his cow's milk at other meals. As for eating, he's still a fussy boy! Never been very good with solids!
