Hi All
I'll try for some personals while Autie is sleeping...
Megan, might be a bit late to answer your question but anyway... Autie generally wakes around 6 (give or take half hour) and I encourage this because it helps the day work out timewise. She has a play/BF/breakfast and is ready for bed again by 8.30 most days. Then she'll last out to about 1pm and then bedtime is 6/6.30. She usually naps for about an hour. I read somewhere that many babies follow the 2/3/4 hour schedule between sleeps and this is true for us with maybe an extra half hour tacked on. HTH. And hope the move went well for you all.
Jan, how did it go with ring? Is it what you expected? Aww at Liam's 'mum' - isn't it a lovely sound? What is Mini Maestros? Autie loves music so much it sounds like it would be right up her alley. I have found a huge improvement in sleep since I cut Autie off cold turkey from night feeds - she gets a BF at bedtime and then that's it until morning. I don't like for her to cry either but it really only took one night of rocking instead to get her on track and accepting - it was mostly a tantrum type cry.
Jess that's great news that your little jelly bean is growing well. How exciting for you! Take care of yourself - it must be hard with DH away and two growing bubs making demands on you!
Em, I LOVE your letter idea! I think I'm going to steal it - I hope I'm capable of making the effort each year though...hmmm.
Lis, I will have to add puzzles to our list too. The best ones I have found (if you want quality) are called Tuzzles though you may have to search them out or google a supplier but they are worth it - absolutely gorgeous colours and images. Sometimes I do feel bad having Autie go from bed to change table to car seat to stroller to car seat to high chair LOL I try and find somewhere for quick crawls along the way if I can, or that's when she gets a 'treat' ;)
Sarah, good to hear the kids are feeling better and that you had a good night out. Exciting news about the maybe pregnancy. How did your test go?
Jem, it's nice to hear from you. That's a really nice idea about Charlotte's poster - I loved that book. What are DH's work shifts like these days? You must have things running smoothly by now when he's away but I guess there are still tough days?
I thought it was about time to give Autie a little nudge walking wise so I stood her up and let go - she looked so smug as she just stood there without even a wobble! It was like 'I could do this ages ago mum, just didn't wanna' No steps yet but at least we'll have something new to surprise daddy with when he gets home. She has been doing her best to copy the dance moves of Hi-5 - so cute but maybe it's an indication I let her watch it too much!LOL
I'm babysitting my parents dog for two weeks. She's lovely and it's nice to have a watch dog with Dan being away and Autie is fascinated by her, but all I keep thinking about is all the crap I'm going to have to pick up off the lawn  Guess it will get me used to it for when we finally get our own.
Mum bought some LS bodysuits from Dimmey's because they were 50c and I put one on Autie today...lovely big round collar - she looks like a total nerd - or maybe a child from an Amish type background. LOL Good for not having to wear a bib at home though!
Somebody's at my leg wanting attention so I'd better go.
-
Sacha - thanks for the info on the 2/3/4 routine - I have been wondering lately how long is "normal" between sleeps. We roughly do the same. DH work shifts have been OK lately - but like you said though some days are easier (as I know you understand) than others but I guess thats life!! Woohoo for Autie - was a smartie!! Charlotte hasnt shown much interst in walking which is untersting as both boys were walking by this age - but I am in NO rush for her to get mobile on two legs!
Sarah - ooohh cant wait to hear about the test results!! I loved the new SATC movie as well - I want to go and see it again soon. It also made me want to go shopping in NY - oh the fashion!!
Hi Mel - how is your weekend so far? Have you done much? We just got home from a cool bike park that the boys were able to ride around in and have a play. We met some friends there who have just had their 3rd boy and this is such a cliche but you just forget how tiny newborns are. Made me clucky NOT!! Was nice to have a hold and then give him back - he was adorable though!!
Hi everyone else.
Enjoy the weekend. Does everyone have a long weekend this weekend? We do so no work tomorrow!!
Take care
Jem

Hey Hey,
still alive but only just.
Last time i was in it was because Xavier had the flu, and I was home with him. He is getting better, but i'm not. It's really hard to get better when you don't get any sleep.
Any who I hope everyone is doing well, We have a little boy trying to walk along the furniture, trying new foods all the time, he likes crumpets at the moment.
He has some very chatty days, and it seems like he is trying to ditch a feed and a sleep during the day, which I wish he wouldn't as he try's to make up for it at night, which is so not happening.
Well gotta go, I need a nanna nap.
Bye

Hey everyone!!
How is everyone?? I am good - hands are FROZEN tho! Been outside hanging out the washing and it is so cold and still a bit rainy - clothes are never going to dry!
We went on our family getaway on the weekend just gone. It was good!! We got there late friday cause Jason had to work. We didnt do too much, which was good - didnt even turn the TV on!! It was very very cold, too cold for my liking. Avaleigh was OK on the drive, a lot more whingy than I thought she would be but what do you expect when you are sitting in a car for 5 hours!
I've been looking online for new jobs. Its crunch time and I really need to work!! I've gotten no answers out of my current job so I am looking elsewhere. I am going to call them today and see what the go is. The plan is to go to some retail stores and leave them my resume. I may even go to some supermarkets and see if they need any nightfillers. Not what I want to do but if it means I can still be at home with Avaleigh during the day and get good money working at night, I'll do it!! Jason's been thinking about going to the mines, not what I want him to do but his back is getting really bad so roof tiling is not that good for him anymore.
Well Avaleigh has finally fallen asleep so I have to do some stuff now because we go out looking for work.
-

Ahhh! I am so over my company and waiting around what they say about me returning back part time. I sent an email through to them yesterday pretty much threatening that I am looking for new work and that I will leave them, and they still havent gotten back to me! I thought that I was a vital part of the WA office, but obviously not if this is how they treat ya - just leave you hanging on the edge!!
Gosh, this is so not what I need so early, already have a headache!! Things are just so stressful at the moment...
Well going to have breakfast and a coffee and I hope I will be in a better mood after that!
-
Hi ladies,
Well I have been around but just too busy to post sorry! My last client for my course had her baby yesterday so I am now a qualified doula!!! Yay for me (well I still have to techniquely wait for my cert in the mail) but yay!!!
Well our babies are 1 next month! What is everyone doing party wise? I think we might have a party at a really nice park near us
-
Lis - sorry dont have any gingerbread recipes!! I hope you find something nice..
mmmm for some reason I would love some of my mum's carrot cake. Its the best cake and just gets moister as the days go on. Damn diet!! I have 2 and a bit more weeks on it.. I am thinking about booting it in the arse tho cause its too cold to be dieting!!
Jas - YAY :cheer: for being a qualified doula!! We're just having a party at home, weather has been too crap to think about doing it else where, park would be great tho. I'm just going to put on finger foods and make some sweets.
Has anyone got any good ideas for presents???!! I am sooo stumped on what to get Avaleigh!
Oh I am excited :excited: I wasnt going to do it, but I applied for a drafting job at a home building company. They were advertising for 1 experienced and 1 inexperienced positions. Drafting and architecture is something I have wanted to do for soo many years and I just couldnt pass up the opportunity again. Its full time, not really what I want to do at the moment, but in the long run, the job should be worth it. Cross your fingers for me and hope I get an interview!! :crossfingers:

WOOHOO Tayah FINALLY has her first tooth :cheer:
-
Emma - way to go on Tayah's first tooth! Just 19 to go...It's very exciting but a little sad I think, cos it starts to make them look more grown up.
Sarah - I hope that the dr was able to help you with Bayleigh, poor little man. Fingers crossed that you don't get it. You might have given me a tip on how to make these posts actually post - I wrote an enormous one last night & it didn't save - sooo frustrating.
V - any news on the job front yet?
Jas - well done on being a fully qualified Doula. It's a fantastic effort you've put in over the last few months, must be so exciting to be finished.
Bec - hope you're starting to feel better, having a cold/flu is really tough with a baby. From what you've described of Xavier, sounds like he's going great guns.
Am very excited tonight, as tomorrow is fRINGday (Friday with a Ring in it woo hoo). The jeweller called yesterday to say it was ready, so we're going in to pick it up tomorrow, hopefully it will fit properly & look like what we want it to look like. And then we can tell my parents & family, which will be great, cos I've kept it a secret for 4 and a bit weeks, except from my BB friends & my neighbour.
-
yay how exciting Jan!!!! I love wearing my bling;)
Congrats Jas on your 'doulaship'. LOL
Yay! Emma for Tayah's first tooth!!!
Not alot happening.... oh except a complete change to DS' diet. I have a post somewhere here, but no replies so I may have to bump it.
Hope you are all going well.... it's only 3 and a half months till my wedding!!!EEEKKK!
xxo0
-
Sarah - I hope Bayleigh gets better and you dont catch the bug. Good luck with the court thingy, hope you get what you want!
Emma - YAY for Tayah's tooth! Now for the rest of them to come through
Jan - YAY on getting the ring tomorrow!!! I've just had to drop my engagement ring off at the jewelers cause a diamond fell oout when I was cleaning it!! :o Luckily the diamond stuck to my finger, so hopefully getting it back in to the ring wont cost too much. No luck on the job front hey. No word from our, well your EX company about me returning back. I emailed Tonazzi (he is in charge of WA since Greg left) and told him I am going to quit if I dont get any answers, and I havent even heard anything!! Looking for new work is hard hey... I just hope I get the job that I really want.
I let Avaleigh run round naked tonight before her bath and she loved it!! It was sooo cute, I have to give her some more clothes free time.
Well not much to say here, so I am off!!
-
Hi Ladies
Sorry i have been mia again lately :( Me and Ethan both have the flu, ethans is really bad, he is sooo congested and rattly in the chest and its stuffed his routine! He is waking hourly and has been for three days, so im not getting much sleep and when i do its crappy because of the flu. Dh left tuesday so we are battling on slowly!
On the upside all is ok with the pregnancy, bubs is moving a little now and i get the occasional decent whack! Still having m/s issues but has settled a bit, and still have that DISGUSTING taste in my mouth! Not really showing yet either, except for the end of the day bloating! Still not wanting to find out but instincts saying Girl :)
Ok ladies sorry for no personals again, but im exhausted hopefully will feel better in a few days. Will try to pop in tomorrow.
Night all.
-
Hi all!
Just a quick visit to have a read and to say i am still alive...just! The moving started last saturday and the gastro started early sunday morning! It has gone from me, to Lucas and now to DH and it seems back to Lucas, i hope it doesnt come back to me! Needless to say the packing and cleaning hasnt gone terribly well this week! Lucas woke up the other night with an almighty scream and i went in his room, the poor thing had vomit all over him, it was pooled in his eye sockets and he couldn't open his eyes, it broke my heart!!
Congrats on the ring Jan and the teeth Emma!! Sarah and TOJ i hope your bubs get well soon too! Good luck everyone with the present buying and party planning!
-
Ahh!! I am so frustrated this morning. It was taken Avaleigh 1 and 1/2 hours to fall asleep this morning. Friday is my cleaning day and I always try to have everything cleaned before lunch time, but I dont think that is going to happen today!! I put her down asleep at 9am this to hear her awake and playing 30 mins later. So I see if she will go to sleep by herself - nope she starts whinging. Get her up and try to rock and bounce but she starts giggling at me. So I try her down in her bed again, ok for a while and then cries. So I have just fed and rocked and bounced and put her down asleep, but woke again and started crying. There are no sounds from her room now so fingers crossed she is asleep, but I dont want to clean cause I'll probably wake her!! Gosh isnt it annoying when they get out of their routine??!!
Megan - I hope the gastro clears out of your house quick smart and doesnt come back to you! YUCK at Lucas being covered in vomit!!
Jess - I hope you and Ethan get better soon. I wonder if your instincts on girl will be correct!!! I guess we will see in December!! Have you joined the Dec baby buddies?
I was talking to an old work mate last night and rumor is going round that my company has been sold!! I dont know what is going on in that place these days...
AHHH! I think Avaleigh is awake again. I guess my cleaning day is over. BYE!
-----
Its 12.45pm and Avaleigh has finally gone down for a nap!! I did manage the finish cleaning by lunch time with not too much crying from Avaleigh. SO gave her lunch and put her to bed and finally asleep!!
I've given her a little pillow to sleep on - she looks so cute with her head on it!! Does any one have their bub sleeping on a pillow?? I'm a little worried about it as Avaleigh likes to sleep on her tummy, but I thought I would let her have a go during the day, check on her often and see how she sleeps on it.
Well I am going to have a shower and have some lunch now that I have some time for me. I hope everyone is going well and are nice and busy thats why they arent on BB!!
-
Hi all,
Hey V, do you have any 24hour supermarkets near you? 'cause they need other departments like deli and registers. Fingers crossed on the drafting job.
Sarah, sorry to hear about your poor little man being sick. It's not fair when they feel so bad they can't eat
Jan, thanks it's been hell. I'm on antibiotics too now. Xavier is doing well developmentally but I just wished the kid would sleep in his own bed at night!!!!!
Jess sorry to hear about the flu, You are amazing I couldn't have coped by myself while sick, with a sick bub.
Exciting news for us is we might be able to start building earlier than we thought.
Catch you all later
-
Well took Bayleigh to da Dr on thursday and he has ordered test to be done as he thinks its a lil bit more serious then just Gastro... So we had to collect stool samples thursday night and friday morning (but becoz its just liquard we had to stick one of the Wee bags on his bottom to try and catch some of the poo) and have them in to pathology by 10am so we did that hopefully we have some answers monday morning... Through the night i have to change bayleigh's clothes and bedding as he does a poo and it just goes everywhere and he just screams this morning we had him up every hour AGAIN and had to change him at 330 and then he was screaming at 540 and wouldnt go back to sleep so we brought him into our bed but he still didnt settle so we have pretty ,uch been up since then i feel like my eyes are hanging out of my head
well im gunna go and try and work out wat to do for tea...
Hope everyone out there with sick bubs or sick themselves get better soon
And hope everyone has a great weekend
Sarah

I just found out a good friend of mine has lost her identical twin girls at 22 weeks. So devastating. I want everyone to give their bubs a big hug and kiss in the morning cos we are just so lucky!

Ohhhhhhh V, wow!!!! Let us know of you go, will you do a test to see if anything shows up?
-
nope, no test!! Got no money to buy a test, got no money to even get petrol to get to the shop and its pouring with rain outside. But, if I still dont have my period by Thursday grocery shopping, I'll be buying a test!! But fingers crossed it comes soon..
Brrr so cold!! I'm cooking Avaleigh food in the hope to warm up the house
-
Does anyone have any suggestions of anything i could get my friend as some sort of keepsake i guess in memory of her twin girls?
-

Bayleigh is still not any better Dr rang before with one of the results and nothing showed up in it so we are now waiting for the secong lot of results to come in hope later this arvo or tomorrow morning
I just recieved a pair of shoes that i won for bayleigh on ebay they are a pair of New Balance runners they are so cute but they guy put them as a size 3 but they are wayyyyyyy to small for bayleigh so im thinking they are more of a size 2 so now im gunna have to sell them on ebay LOL i got them at a bargin price too the RRP is $89 and i got them for $16 including postage
Well im bout to cook a roast so i better get my butt off BB and start preparing it
Have a good night girls
Sarah

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHmmmmmmmmmmm.... still no period!! I hope it comes.., my cycle is 27/28 days and I am on day 29, I never had a 29 day cycle.
Sarah - YUM ROAST!!! I have 2 weeks of my diet left and a nice chicken or lamb roast is the first time I will be cooking!! I hope Bayleigh gets better soon and that the test results dont come back with anything serious.
Megan - I think Sarah's idea of a pendant of two heats or two angels is a very nice idea
Ah, I'm meant to be giving Avaleigh some nappy free time but feeling too lazy to clean up any accidents so we might leave it for tonight!! All day I have been on the internet looking for jobs and havent found ANYTHING!
I am hating the forums these days.. always dropping out and cant display the pages

How frustrating are the forums these days!!! None of my posts are going through and when they do, they post TWICE! Got to delete one....
AHHHHHHHHHH!! I still dont have my period!! Its now 3/4 days late.... I am starting to wonder if my new diet is the cause for the longer cycle?? not sure but I hope its not pregnancy related. I told Jason I am late and he is not freaking out or anything...
-
Morning!
Looks like I am the only one in the thread these days.. I must be just totally patient or totally stupid trying to deal with the forums problems but it looks like it is semi fixed..
Still no period for me!! We are now 4 days late.. I am not too concerned about being pregnant as I read last night that a diet low in saturated fats, high in fibre, low carbs etc can cause periods to be irregular. Jason and I were talking about it and he said that if I am pregnant, then we have 9 months to find a bigger house or we will build on top of ours!! He said that if I am pregnant, then its going to be another girl as a study was done that a diet high in sugar will give you a boy!! I think Jason is going to do everything possible to have a boy next time, even if it means fattening me up with sugar! AHH!!
In other news - Avaleigh's 3rd tooth came through yesterday!!! I dont really want her to have more teeth, she looks so cute with just 2!! Another 3 are going to cut soon as you can just see them sitting there and waiting. We're back to sleeping through the night, which is great for us all!
Well better go and tidy up the house as I have some visitors coming over today.
Hope everyone is well!!!
-
I thought I was the only one having troubles in here.
Are you going to pee on the stick V? I wouldn't have been able to resist by now. And just remember everything happens for a reason, what will be will be.
I have two sick kids at the moment, and it makes it even harder when I'm sick too. But enough of a whinge from me.
Only 2 more weeks until my little baby turns 1, so sad but happy at the same time. I think it will be an emotional day for me. Have bought the fixings for his cake. Going to do a choc mud cake. Decorated into a racing car track with cars on it. Will choc sticks on the sides. Will make it up as I go. Last year I did a butterfly cake for Charlize's 1st birthday, I was proud of the way it turned out, So hopefully I will be happy with this one too.
Anyway must be off, have to clean up from our Painting session this morning. Going to make some gingerbread men now. Just trying to keep them happy, while they are sick.
-
Mel - nah not peeing on a stick yet!! I might pick up a packet while doing the grocery shopping on the weekend but I dont think I am pregnant, just my body doing something silly. And yes, everything does happen for a reason so if we are pregnant, it'll all work out!! I hope that your kids get better soon and I cant believe Jack's birthday is just two weeks away!! OMG, how quickly has it gone!! Sounds like a great idea on the birthday cake - it'll look fab!!
-
Hi everyone,
Going to take a chance that I'll be able to do a post without losing it...
Sarah - how's Bayleigh going? Did you get any answers from the dr yet??
V - any sign of AF yet? If the stuff about sugar is true, the way I'm going we'd definitely be getting a bus load of boys...but no chance of it atm.
Mel - a racing car sounds very cool. I'm enjoying planning Liam's party, at the moment I'm thinking that I'll do a Lion cake, cos he wanders around the house going 'rrraahhh", so it's kind of appropriate.
Megan - that's really sad news about your friend losing her babies. I'm not good at thinking of keepsake presents (bit dumb about these things really), but maybe a couple of frozen dinners (lasagne, casserole, quiche) would be a nice gift while she's going through the intense grieving period?
Jess - how's our resident pg mummy going? Are you getting over the flu & getting a bit more sleep?
Bec - woo hoo for being able to build earlier, it's exciting when plans start to actually happen.
Well, my little man has started to walk around with the aid of a little walker trolley thing that he's got, which is pretty cute to watch. He can't steer it, so just yells when it gets stuck, but I'm thinking that at this rate he'll be pretty close to walking by the time he's one. Which is exciting, but a bit sad at the same time, because I don't want him to grow up too quickly. Other than that, not much going on here ( so, what's new :) )
-
Hi Ladies,
I have two bb pages at the same time with 2 seperate thread so if I forget you in my personals Im sorry!!
V, POAS! POAS! I know it's not in your plans just yet but if I'm honest I kinda hope you are UTD! hehe
Mel, How are you hun? Your cake sounds great! I bought a new cake book today so will have to pick a cake Phil and I are going shopping tomorrow to look at decorations, invited etc
Megan, That is so sad about your friend I think the locket idea sounds great, Maybe a photo frame you could get engraved with always in our hearts or something and they could put an u/s pic in there
Sorry mind blank already!
Noah is a bit sick atm bad cough and runny nose took him to the dr today and got some antibiotics, he is also 11months old today! Forgot to mention he has 5 teeth now!
-
I just had to tell someone, my sister rang me last night and told me she was pregnant. I worked out her EDD and she is due Feb 19th 09. I'm so excited, I'm nearly busting at the seams with happiness for them. She is a little nervous, but I'm sure she will adjust soon. She is going to the docs today to confirm and go from there. I'm so happy today ...............................................
-
Hi there all,
Haven' t been able to access BB for this whole week until now... apparently there are problems...
WIll read through posts and pop back later
-
Hi all,
Sorry been MIA for a week or so but so busy!! I am back to work now for 2 days a week. Not with my old work, my Mum's friend runs a busy so just donig some admin there so that is good, gets me out and about.
Few questions before I get stuck into personals:
Does everyone still sterilise bottles?
um, maybe that was my only questions LOL may think of more later.
Oh yeah - are you babies cuddly babies? Olivia isn't and I wish she was, I grave cuddles. She jamed her fingers in the draw today and screamed so I picked her up to comfort her and she wasn't interested :(
Megs I am so sorry to hear about your friend, I will give Olivia a big hug when she wakes. I hope she will be ok. I think a locket is a great idea and have in loving memory on the back or something.
V - TEST TEST TEST!!!!
Mel - Olivia is sickie too, bad cough and runny nose. I Hope your angels get better soon. I think I will be emotional on Liv's birthday as well. We are hvaing a naming ceremony and my mum is reading a poem about daughters and when our friend, the celebrant (she married us too) read it to me over the phone I nearly cried!!! I am a softie :)
Sarah - how is Bayleigh? Poor thing I hope he, and you are dong ok. Hugs :)
Must run, finish breaky, get dressed then off to the shops to buy a doona for Olivia :)
Lis xxxx
Hi to everyone else xxxx

Morning!
Brrr!! It is sooo cold.. its like 3 degrees and that is FREEzING! Avaleigh's room is 15 degrees so I chucked the heating on. We've been told to keep heating down to a minimun because of the power place that exploded but c'mon! Its 3 degrees AND Avaleigh is a little snuffly from her teeth coming through. She is back in bed too. I went to the gym, came home and fed her and she fell asleep so I put her back to bed. woohoo for me! We've got to go out later so I am glad she is back in bed now.
Well still no AF for me and I am at CD32.. so its 5 days late!!! :o Hmmm i think i will buy a test when I am out at the shops later!! You know what I have been feeling??? I know it is really strange and just probably my head playing tricks, but I have been getting kicking feeling in my ribs, like what Avaleigh used to do!! Stupid huh! But will probably test cause we may be going to a friends for drinks tomorrow and dont want to drink if i am UTD.. i dont think i am tho but not 100% sure!
Mel - YAY for your sister!!! That is brilliant!! Areyou going to be her doula? Is this her first child? Is she younger or older than you?
Jan - it wont be long until Liam really is walking and then the fun begins!
Jas - I hope that Noah gets better soon and WOW at all the teeth! I think Avaleigh will have 6 teeth very soon.
Lis - I just wash Avaleigh's bottle in hot soapy water and let it air dry! And Avaleigh is a cuddly baby, I think. If you put your arms out she will run towards you with a hug and she likes to be hugged when she hurts herself, so i guess she is.. kinda annoying som, etimes cause youwill be in the middle of dinner and she hurts herself and wants a hug!
Well I better call my nephew and wish him Happy 5th birthday!!! I cantbelieve he is 5. I still remember his birth 5 years ago.. My gosh, before we know it our babies are going to be 5!!

Hmm.. will this reply work? I haven't been able to get on for quite a while - BB keeps dropping out and losing posts so I have just given up! Fingers crossed this works!
Megan - I am so sorry to hear about your friend. So sad. After I heard about those poor little twins that were starved to death, it just makes me think that some people really don't deserve to be parents whereas people like your friend have it so hard. I like idea of the locket - the only other thing I could think of would be a plant or a statue for in the garden maybe. You are lovely to want to do something for her.
Lis - Tom isn't a cuddly baby either :(. He is quite willing to hug his teddy - we say "Give teddy loves" and he throws himself on it, hugging and kissing and going 'ahhh' but if we say "Give mummy and daddy loves", he generally just crawls away, returns with his cricket bat and whacks us with it - so that proves he is really not cuddly! I am trying to teach him to give kisses so at least i will get some affection, but normally if I put my face close to his, he uses it as an excuse to pull my nose or rip out my earrings. We don't sterilise bottles anymore either - just wash in hot water or run them through the dishwasher. I figured he can lick the floor so its not really worth it.
Mel - congratulations about your sister!! Is she the one that just got married? If so, she didn't waste any time! Is it your first niece or nephew? When I had Tom I didn't realise how excited my older sister would be as she has 2 kids - but it was her first time as an aunty so she was beside herself. Good luck with the cake for Jack. I have no idea what to do for Tom's - I dont have much luck with cakes but i guess i better do something. Maybe I can cheat and buy a mudcake and decorate it myself .
Jan - I hear you on the being sad about walking. Tom is taking steps around the furniture and balancing by himself and everyone is so excited but I am sad. They only crawl for a small amount of time and Tom is so funny when he does it - he just puts his head down and goes, no matter what is in his way!
Did anyone read in the announcements that Starfish's (Zofia) Diana is one today! She hasn't posted with us for a while, I think she mainly posts in the June buddies now.
We have my sisters engagement party on Sunday afternoon so really looking forward to getting to wear a dress instead of my mummy uniform of trackies ! I went down this morning and brought Tom a shirt and some dark demin jeans - he is going to look like such a little man! My sister is taking us girls for a pedicure on Saturday and tomorrow I am getting my hair cut and coloured so it will be nice to have some pampering!
Hope everyone else has a great weekend!

Lis - Liam isn't particularly cuddly, although he does have his clingy moments where he wants to be picked up & held. Usually at the most inconvenient times of course. I've been trying to get him to give kisses, but he's totally not interested. He doesn't even have a favourite soft toy, although he talks to his teddies in the morning. Mostly he just likes wheels, and opening cupboards & drawers.
Em - I like your reasoning for not bothering to sterilize bottles anymore. It's amazing the stuff they can find on the ground. Liam's quite keen on leaves.
Mel - that 's such exciting news for your sister. Hope it all went well for her at the drs today.
Nicky - how are things? Any luck with Lach's diet changes, have you noticed an improvement for him?
-
Em - you made me laugh, Olivia does the same with her teddies!!! She kisses, cuddles and rolls on the floor with them but not us! When I go into her in the mornings after her being asleep for 12 hours, all she want to do is say morning to her teddies, if I pull her out before this she cries :( If I kiss DH infront of her she will kiss us but that is it!!! Its funny, hopefully she changes when she gets older.
Mel - I forgot to congratulate your news about your Sister!! Is she the one that recently go married?
V - HAVE YOU TESTED YET!!!!!!!???????
Thanks for the bottles advice, I am going to but my electric sterliser away tomorrow whoo hoo!! More bench space. What about boiling the water? I knew I forgot a questions, do you still do that?
I got my hair cut tonight LOVE IT! Feels SO good :)
I bought Olivia a quilt for her bed today, it has butterflies all over it and is SO cute. I also got her dress for her party which has butterflies over it also....can you see a theme hehehe
