Just jumping on for a quick read before going to work - my lazy boy is still asleep so hoping he wakes up so I can see him before I go! Did anyone see the Pussycat Dolls on Sunrise this morning?? I could never ever squeeze myself into a rubber catsuit at 7am in the morning :o.
BB tonight or in the next few days for personals. Hope everyone has a lovely day!
-
LOL Em. I wouldn't be squeezing myself into one of those at ANY time! An image of a killer whale comes to mind...
Forgot to say big thank you to you all for your kind wishes for my mum :grouphug:

Hi girls
How are you all?
We're good kind of LOL We had a BBQ on Sunday with about 20 friends who came round to watch Bathurst and DP Chris was cooking the BBQ bout 2pm and he was trying to cut a chick winf in half and slipped and his whole forearm landed on the BBQ and hot Oil.. SO we rushed him up to hospital He has 2nd degree burn from his elbow to his wrist and the blisters are the size of eggs TMI Sorry so we has got all this week off He could go to work but seen he works in a scrap yard its not one of the cleanest sites to work on so hes abit worried about infectiosn and so on..... but its nto causing him any pain which is good coz if it was i wouldnt hear the end of it LOL hes such a sook....
Bayleigh is sooooo cheeky, He put 3 wors together just before while we were out shopping DP was carrying him around and i gave him the car keys and said to him car keys as i handed them to him and he says plan as day "Dad Car Key". Chris and my jaws just dropped the floor and couldnt believe it... He is doing very well in his big boy bed, but last night i went to check on him and opened his door and he was laying right infront of the door LOL But i love it in the morninsg he gets up and cums straight in to us and climbs into our bed and has lots of cuddles...
Chloe is going ok Someone asked about her SOrry cant remeber who it was..... We have another paed appt this arvo for a review on the medication, I dont think its working as the same as he teacher, some days she sees a difference and others she wanders if i give her meds or not, so we are both thinking its not the right thing for chloe but we'll see what the Paed says,
Nicky- so glad the wedding was fantastic.. WOuld you mind if i added you to facebook i love wedding pics LOL You can add me if you like Sarah thomas mathieson..... Anyone else thats to add me go for it...

Sarah I have added you to facebook, but have only got 4 wedding pics on there at the moment... should have my pro pics by the end of the week:)
-
Hi all,
Doh I can hear crying!!! Teeth are bad at the moment, this may be a quick post :)
Nicky - welcome back! I am glad your wedding and honeymoon went well, its sad when its all over isn't it? But all the photos and memories are gret to have!
Sacha - Olivia hasnt hit for awhile, she goes through spurts of it. At the moment her thing is to pull the cat and not let her go!! She does have a walker, she has used it since she was 1 as it was a present but that hasn't seemed to make her want to walk unaided. I give up, maybe now I am giving up she will walk :)
BBL - she is crying, must get the nurofen ready :( Poor bubs
xxxx

ooh I'm a mean mum tonight. But he was just faffing around & not feeding, so I have picked him up & popped him into bed. Yawning his head off mind you, but still grumpy about being in bed. Yelled a bit, but now it's silent so fingers crossed, that's us for a few more hours yet.
Sarah - OMG for Chris' accident, how scary. But wow for Bayleigh's sentence. Liam's most complex sentence goes something like "mum, mum, mum, mum", I'm kind of looking forward to hearing some other words.
Lis - sending you some walking vibes for Olivia. It's rather frustrating waiting for them to learn new stuff, especially when "everyone" else seems to be doing it. Hope the Nurofen works quickly for her, poor little thing.
Em - I didn't see the PCD'S this morning, but I can imagine..and I'm with Sasha, I can't imagine being in a catsuit at any time these days, which is probably a good thing for the world.
Sacha - I've only had one dress shopping experience so far, but I can tell you that there's no way I'd pay $500 for the privilege of trying on some frocks. Although in fairness I could see why some of the High St Armadale ones might want to charge it, just to stop the nuisance factor of people doing a Muriel maybe. What my one experience has shown me is that I've wasted the last year of Breastfeeding, too much bad food. Just as well he's marrying me for my brains ;)
-
just a quick one haven't read through all the posts but Flossie Noah isn't walking yet either and he's the last one at mg not to be walking and he did everythign else early!

Hi all!
Again i have missed heaps! So much has been going on around here. My sister and her partner will be arriving from Queensland in 11 days! So so exciting it has been 10 months since we have seen her, Ethan was 5 months when she first met him. So trying to get everything organized, but with Ethan keeping me flat out and me struggling with the warmer weather it seems as though it will never get done!
Well i am now 30wks 2 days pregnant!! :o Time has been flying and i don't think its going to slow down any before i know it i will have my second little man in my arms. Ethan has been so cute he now gives my belly kisses, big noisy wet ones. I had another scare with a small bleed monday morning, went to the hospital and other than the bleeding and unsure where it was coming from, everything was ok and bub is just fine. I am booked in for a scan next week, looking foward to seeing him again! Ethan is in to kissing everything these days, the floor, TV, cat, fridge, highchair! He still only has the 6 teeth has been teething but nothing coming through yet. He has got really bad eczema, he has only ever had it behind his knees, but now and its only got worse since the weather has started heating up, its under his arms, in his elbows, the little rolls on his legs, behind his ears and neck and it looks like he is getting it on his face, so i think i will take him to the Dr next week when i go, as its now starting to bother him.
Well Ethan is awake, again his sleeping has been really cr@p lately! So I'm best go. will pop back tomorrow. Sorry about no personals.
BYE:)

Jess, I can't believe you're already in your 3rd trimester, it really has flown. Ethan's kissing sounds so cute, Liam refuses to kiss, no matter how nicely I ask.
Well, I am feeling a little sheepish tonight - we've just realised that Liam has cut at least 1 molar, possibly 2, which would explain why his nights were so feral a couple of weeks ago. We just thought he was going through an annoying stage. But it's weird, because he only has the 2 front bottom teeth, and 4 top teeth, and now the molar on the bottom right, so he's way out of "normal" for teeth appearance.
-
Cross cutting, my two are the same. You don't know where they are gong to pop up. Both Charlize and Jack did the same, bottom two, then top 4 then top 2 molars, bottom 2 molars, then the ones that were meant to come next. Crazy, glad he has them through now though, one less upsetting stage to go through.
Jess, I can't believe how quick it has gone either. Although I bet it hasn't felt so quick to you. Glad everything is o.k. with the bleeding, this little man sure likes to scare his mummy doesn't he? Has DH been home much lately?
Nicky, great to hear your wedding day was perfect. Can't wait to see some more pics. Again, another little cheeky bub that likes to scare their mummies..... Will you be finding out this time around what sex the cheeky monkey is?
Sarah, just added you to facebook, hope you don't mind. We are the same age but you look so much younger than me, your beautiful...... Wish I had skin like yours. I bet your jaws dropped with what Bayleigh said, their amazing hey, so smart. I ordered Jack's bed a couple of days ago, can't wait to try him in it. He will look so cute.
I can't remembered who asked about Jack staying in his bed or not, sorry on quick reply here, but I don't think it will be a problem as his bed is one of the novelty ones with the wooden side panels. We got him one, as Charlize was put in a bed at 14 months, due to us needing the cot for Jack, so we thought we would get them one the same shape, so it all even steven. Charlize has a butterfly one and Jack a blue car one.
Us, we are going well. Kids are almost over their sickness, and my knee is starting to improve, so I might be able to do some exercise again. Went and did some weight training this morning, so I felt better, but I'm going to be oh so sore in the morning.....
We had a hospital check up for Jack's hand yesterday. It went really well, they are pleased with the way it is healing. They it's still to early to say how much longer he will need to wear the pressure glove, but at least another 12 months, but that's o.k, they dont' seem to bother him much. Sometimes he protests when I put the cream, silicone dressing on then the glove, but so would I, and he forgets about it, so it all good.
Not much else happening, my sister is arriving from Mt Isa in about an hour, can't wait to see her, she is now 6 months pregnant. Time has flown by, we are having a baby shower for her on Saturday while she is down. Then a hens night, so going to be exhausted by sunday. I scored a brand new cot from Target for her yesterday for $86, Childcare brand, she was stoked. She hasn't have to buy much as she is going to be taking our change table/bath, car seat, baby clothes, maternity clothes, baby swing and a whole lot of other stuff.
Anyway must go have a shower before I'm due to pick her up.
Take care all.

Hello beautiful Mummies!!!
I have been very slack lately and not posting. Have been reading a little here and there but as you all know these toddlers are very demanding at times!!
We are doing great here. Oliver is practically running now - geez that happened way to fast - and getting into EVERYTHING!! He especially likes the computer which is in the living area. He reaches high up to grab the keyboard and mouse and sits typing away looking at the screen. This morning I came out to see that he had started a conversation with a friend on msn!! He had written 6+ 6+ 6+ 6+ numerous times! A little weird :p So I think I will need to move the computer into our bedroom as it will only be a matter of time before he starts climbing onto the chair! No real words here yet, just lots of sounds so he is practicing well. Sleeping is good, having one big nap or two small ones a day. Nights are ok, he goes down at about 8 and will usually sleep through til 5 then it's into our bed for milk and more sleep. Eating is not so good :wall: He has decided that he doesn't really like vegies and meat so dinner time is a bit frustrating but I'm hoping it will pass soon. He loves being outdoors. He will often go to the back door and look at me and wave. It's hard to keep him inside sometimes! We have our daily ritual of going out to check the mail which he gets very excited about - except the other day the postie came back down the road and Oliver nearly filled his nappy  He gets a bit scared with sounds of cars and motorbikes. Guess I shouldn't really laugh!! Still breastfeeding and we have started toilet training as well, very slowly though. After his big day naps he always wakes up dry so I pop him on his potty. He hasn't actually done anything on it yet but he is slowly getting used to it. We sit and read or sing (well I do) until he has had enough, which can sometimes be up to a few minutes. He is in cloth and at home I just put him in a terry flat without a cover with his t-shirt and as soon as I see that he has wet I take the nappy off straight away so he doesn't get used to the wet feeling. I got all these tips and many more off a really great website called tribal baby. We will see how things go, no pressure!
Well girls sorry for the lack of personals but I will try and get back tomorrow to do some. The tv and couch are calling me.
Take care. xo

Jan, I do that sort of thing all the time, then feel bad later! It seems like the days I spend ages coming up with reasons for a bad night/day, there never seems to be a cause, and the days I get short-tempered are the times I suddenly realise she's sick or teething. :goodluck: for tomorrow.
Wow Jess, how time flies! It must be nice to have some visitors to look forward to and show off your 'new' big boy to! LOL Ethan sounds like he will be a very loving big brother. Autie had pretty bad eczema and I tried EVERYTHING. I literally have a box full of all different kinds of remedies. In the end, I got a prescription for Elecon (sp?) which cleared her up in one treatment and now it's been under control for ages with just oil in the bath and Moo Goo moisturizer which smells so good you want to eat it. Mmmm...moo goo...
Not worrying about Olivia's walking sounds like a good plan Lis :D Having said that, I was remembering that Autie seemed more encouraged to walk when she was around her slightly older cousin - maybe other kids could be an incentive?
Sarah, hope Chris is healing well. Burning is my major fear. I get all antsy around hot fat and am constantly saying to Dan 'did you turn the gas off?' after every bbq LOL
We went to a free music group run by the local youth centre for under twos the other day. Everyone was sitting in a circle doing hand actions to the usual songs and Autie sat on my lap watching for a bit then decided she needed to get the party going and jumped up to do her duck waddle, foot stamping, jump up and turn around dance in the middle of the circle much to everyone's amusement LOL Why waste good music just sitting there? And we had a new word today - 'apple' - hooray! :cheer:
Christmas is coming :o ....who's got present ideas worked out already?
-
Hi girls! Not sure what length post this will be as Tom is asleep and there was some sounds coming from his room earlier, but **fingers crossed** he seems to have gone back to sleep. I will start off by saying sleeping and eating has all gone to crap here for us too. Have no idea why.. so just taking each day as it comes. Possibly teeth but he won't let me look, and he also has quite a runny nose today so maybe sick? On the food issue, we were resorting to some bad habits - he was kind of living on a lot of processed foods and snacking here and there, so today I am cracking down (mean mummy!) and we went to the fruit shop and picked out lots of lovely fresh fruit and veg. So far I have made a fruit salad to go with yoghurt at lunch, a soup packed with every vegie imaginable for tea and some quite possibly disgusting muffins that I made with zucchini, carrot, apple and some berry yoghurt I had in the fridge, for his snacks. All he wants at the moment it cheese biscuits .
This may be a pathetic attempt at personals - I will start from the last post and work backwards, so I apologise if I don't get very far!
Sacha - Christmas... it is coming up so fast! We have a few things organised. I have a big swing set on layby that I have asked family members to put in for - working off the idea that Tom already has so many toys that there isn't much he needs - but so far everyone has given me money and also said "I am also getting him ______. I want him to have something to open on the day". So that kind of defeats the purpose! We have gotten him -
* a bike with a handle
* a blow up pool that I actually may just fill with all his balls (his aunt brought him a bag off 100 plastic balls. I have picked them up 80000000000000 times so far),
* some books
* a gorgeous plush Elmo,
* a etcha-sketch as he loves drawing at the moment and I am too scared to leave him alone with the pencils as they will end up on the walls
* and a wooden train set (from Aldi's and a great bargain $19.95. It is actually really really nice.).
And.. that seems like a longish list for a boy that was on;y getting a "bike and a swing set. Nothing else!". But I also want to get him the DVD of the Wiggles tv show (coming out in November to all good ABC shops. Little plug for my store there!)
and I saw the new Elmo toy the other day. I am in love! I want it for me - so super cute! But I made the mistake of mentioning the price to DH before I told him how good it was, and I think he would kill me if I got it.
Raels - that website sounds really good. I might give it a look. I was wondering about toilet training etc too so the way you are doing it sounds great. So cute about the mailbox and the postie. Tom's favourite thing is posting things at the moment, although he gets completely bewilded when the letter disappears. We don't have much to post so we have been offering to do it for a few of our elderly neighbours, and it is such a highlight for Tom!
Mel - how did Charlize go in a bed at 14 months? Did she get out much? I can't imagine Tom would stay in it, but I guess it is something we should consider doing soon. Maybe after Christmas.. I was just reading your comment on Facebook about getting hit by a ute. What happened? Are you ok??
Jess - hope everything is going well with pg. so cute about Ethan's kisses. It will be lovely to spend some time with your sister. Have you picked names for bubs yet? Not that I am wanting you to tell us - just checking on progress!
Sarah - hope Chris is ok! I will look for you on Facebook to add.
Time is up - he is stirring and I need to get ready for playgroup this afternoon. Hope everyone is well!
-
just a quickie from me, cos DF is just about to bring my dinner to me (such a gem, home made pizzas that he did all by himself). Anyway, we survived our first day at Day care & my first day back at work. I'd forgotten just how much I hate the drive - over an hour to get there in the morning, and an hour & a half to get home.
gotta go, pizza......BBL
-
Em, Charlize went really well in her bed, never a problem. I'm hoping Jack will be the same. But I will keep his cot in his room until he is all settled in. And I'm o.k, my leg in finally starting to improve. I was crossing the road with Jack in a stroller and Charlize on my hip and a stupid stupid young girl, turned the corner without looking and hit me, I ended up on her bonet, luckily oh so lickily Jack was out front and fine, and I managed to catch Charlize while falling back before she hit the road. And can you believe it, after I rolled off her ute, she drove away. I just cant' believe someone could do that. Anyway I made a report to the police and still waiting to hear back. It's been 2 weens on Sunday, so I might ring them on Monday if I still haven't heard anything.
I'm kiddy free tonnight, and I'm lonely. My sister is down from Isa, and she wanted the kids to stay with her at mums. It's a nice break, I miss them deeply when they aren't here. Might go have a shower and have an early night, as tomorrow is going to be a late one. It's my cousins hens night, and I'm able to have a few, so it could be very ugly........
Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.
-
OMG mel I can't beleive somone hit you and drove off!!!!!!!
People are idiots!!!!
Hi everyone! Not feeling real great... my all day sickness is pretty bad.
Everything is going well though.
Lachie went into his own room the other night and loves it! Can't wait to get him in his single bed at chrissie time!
Not alot extra happening except all these teeth and the boy running now.... its a scary sight when he's on concrete.
Hope you are all well
xxoo
-
Mel! That is terrible. What a silly biatch! God, I hope they catch her. Some people make me angry..
 done on surviving your first day Jan! What do you do for a job? Pity about the drive - maybe you could get some books on cd to listen to while you drive.. although I love listening to the radio and keeping up with latest songs, so I know about something other than the Wiggles songs! Well done to your DF for cooking tea - now I know why you are marrying him!
Poor you Nicky.. hope your sickness improves soon. Must be hard with your little man to look after as well, when all you want to do is curl up beside the toilet.
I am obviously stalling for time here.. I have to go clean the bathroom. I have been promising myself I will do it for a week now
