As for us we're slowly unpacking and settleing in. kids are loving the space. I've been getting up early and feeding the chooks, and trying to get on top of the washing ect but its not quite worked out due to the lack of pegs and clothes horses. But now it should be fixed! Vic is standing and trying to cruse around stuff and when he gets told no he gets really cranky. Ahh well better go and see what dh is doing...still asleep I bet, lol.

AP - Sounds like you're doing it tough at the moment? What grounds are your provider refusing you on, it sounds quite unfair? I hope they can find a medication that helps get your chemicals back in balance and all goes well with the counseling.
Re: the milk intake -Are you going off the tin of formula to get 960ml p/d recommendation because that is very high and prossibly just a case of trying to make more money kwim. From what I've read the recommended milk intake is about 600ml of Breast Milk or Formula per day, the same quantity for over 1's but that can be dairy products as well by then. FWIW is it the taste of formula he doesn't like? Karicare tastes closer to breastmilk then the others, or Heinz even (Not GOLD, the gold formulas taste damned awful, you can taste the fish in them, DD won't have a bar of it) Because my supply is a little short even of that, I use the trick of making porridge or semolina in the mornings with formula, if your bub is a good eater you should be able to get 100ml or more into him just by doing that, it's a pain to make a separate batch to your own (if you're eating it and having cows milk) but at their age, cows milk is still quite deficient in Vitamins B, C & D and Iron, so try using formula in cooking and cereal if you can, I know it's so worrying when you can't get them to drink!

Dan - yay the move is over!!! Hope you're settling in well, sounds like the boys are loving the new house to explore.

Tali - DD is the same, DH is getting very possessive of his leg hair. I'm more concerned about the face mashing, biting, grabbing a handful of hair whilst trying to mush into whoever's face picks her up thing DD's got goin - it hurts!!! Girls shouldn't be so rough should they?

AFM - We;ve all had a nasty cold/flu thing - really took a grip, DD1 lost half a kilo in a week and DD2 lost a little too, not me though :rolleyes: I just lost more sleep and patience, am still sick, it's been almost 2 weeks now, am over it. Feel like I've picked every thing up possible since bub was born :cold:, I prob should go and get some levels looked at at Doc's but who has time for that hey.

Im Liz, I have a beautiful daughter who was born on June 16th 2010 (hence why ive come in here hehe) and we are from Perth.
She is an absolute gem, she is cruising around furniture and letting go, thinking she can stand lol. She's such a character, making me laugh all the time. But is also a cheeky little thing!!
Im a single mum and currently going through crap with her dad over where our daughter will spend her time. Sux, but got to do what is right for her.

Lump started commando crawling when he was 7 months and is unstoppable. He just sprouted 2 teeth and started babbling, which is incredibly cute. Haven't had a babbler or a commando crawler before so it is all new. His big sisters squabble over him like he's some kind of advanced battery powered toy ...

Food still hasn't become something you eat when you're hungry - its yummy, but boobies are the real deal. Only started solids at 7 months too, he just eats what we eat or what he finds on the floor. EVERYTHING goes in that mouth. I find flies in his nappy sometimes ... miss 3 says "Frogs like flies and Feo likes flies".

Sas - we've been sick too... Lachlan ended up having to go on antibiotics and prednisone to clear his chest and I'm just getting over it now and it's been 3 weeks or so.

Dani - yay you've moved! I've seen some awesome photos on FB.. how are you settling in

Tali - sorry you're having issues with DTD.. I hope you get that sorted soon!

AP - It's probably a good thing that Mr C is over your boobies now that he's got that many teeth! I hope you too get your DTD issues sorted... noone ever tells us about this sort of thing when we give birth! Now I know why women elect to have C-sections! Their bits remain in tact! I still have a few probs when we first start DTD but then the pain goes away as we get into it and i'm fine. I'd just like to have it more often.. but DH is on depression meds and so his libido is down the tubes :(

Belle - YAY! UTD again! how exciting! Don't leave our little BB group though... I'm hoping that I am UTD in september so that Lachlan has a baby bro or sis by his birthday next year! Have a H&H 9 months xx

AFM - I can't believe that Lachlan is going to be 10 months on Saturday... where the hell does time go? He is such a gorgeous little boy. He has the biggest smile, LOVES crawling everywhere and is so huge he is now in size 1 clothes! he's 75% for weight and height, so I think he's going to be big all over rather than "fat". We are finally moving... after we get back from our QLD holiday. We are moving in with mum and dad for a couple of months while we empty our apartment put our stuff in storage and sell. I'm a bit excited about it all... can't wait to move into a bigger place. Work is going great, still part time at 4 days a week but I'm starting to think that I should be looking for a permanent position or independently contract so I can make more money... not sure yet, but happy where I am at the moment. We're off to QLD tomorrow, driving up and staying in Brisbane on the way up. Going to see Lachlan's Grandfather in Bundaberg. Not looking forward to it all that much cos there isn't much to do where he lives, so I get to cook and clean for 3 boys in a whole other state! Umm... Yay..

Sorry i've been MIA from 'round here! we've been busy with the house and boys. DJ was in hospital last week after a 3 seasures (at home) followed by another 5 in hospital. meds dosage upped - plus we now have another drug to try and 'stop' them but we still gotta call 000 as we dont know what his 'normal' is as such. but other then that (and me almost decking my *darling* FIL) we've been good. i now also have a "second DH" in the bloke next door. its a joke as DH is always telling me to clean/watch the kids/do house work. D next door is on about me baking, my cooking and how i look after the chooks LOL. but D's away for a week pig hunting. he told me he'd bring a baby one back...only to kill it in 12 months. needless to say i corked his arm!

Vic is getting more and more cheeky. he still co-sleeps but he woke me up yesterday by biteing my tummy! boy did it hurt. but he only has the four teethies still. with more comming no doubt.

Bah better go vic wants boobie!

Hi girls!

Well I'm on holidays this week in a place just outside of bundaberg. It's my FILs place so I get to cook and clean in a whole other state for 7 days. We also drove up so I've got to endure a 2 day car trip home before I get back to any sense of normality. While we've been here we had to take L to hospital cos he was running a fever and was vomiting listless and looked so sad :( he ended up having a sever ear infection and so he is now on antibiotics. I was so scared! Dani I don't know how you are colic with DJ being in and out of hospital

Tried to talk toDH about wanting to trying for baby number 2 soon and he is stuck on them being 3-4 years apart. I want to start trying in sept cos I want them 2-3 years apart. He isn't budging so I'm making him feel guilty by just sighing and saying sadly 'ok fine, have it your way I guess it's what you want and I have no say. My dreams and what I want don't count for anything and you're not willing to compromise at all' and that makes him feel all guilty.

Meanwhile I haven't told him I've gone off the pill so if we have an oopsie then 'oh well!' hehehe

Ok ladies I'd better get up and start my day.

Dansta - I second Erica, what a tough trot your family is having with poor DJ, I really hope they can get him stable soon.

Erica - I don't know if your DH will buy a 'woops', methinks he may be suspicious. That sounds like a difficult holiday, we think our holiday this year is going to be my taking a week off and just hanging at home, maybe going for some walks or the cinema, going to sydney a couple of times to the aquarium or zoo or what not, as are too broke after pretty much every single expensive appliance breaking and needing to be bought this year . . vacuum, oven, hot water system, laptop, washing machine, so much for cutting back on work lol. How are you going at work? Still loving it?

As for us: DD is a poop machine, ew. Probably because she is an eating machine. She has finally learned how to eat (well greatly improved) without choking on every finger food type item, though I'm sure it helps that she now has 7 teeth almost 8 and has learned how to use them!

She can walk between DH & I for several steps today, and thinks it's a hilarious game, but hasn't tried it on her own yet, but I wouldn't be suprised if she's walking by next week as she can do it, she just doesn't know she can KWIM. Actually, edit to above, she just walked a couple of steps between the coffee taple and the giant pom-pom, so who knows?

I had mastitis of all things this long weekend, (of course I'd get it when the Dr's are shut, and no, no, no I will NOT go up to the ED unless I am unconcious, have a fever over 40, or am in an ambulance, so I felt like utter crap (as most of you know who've had mastitis, makes you feel like you've got an awful, awful flu) luckily since DD is an excellent booby drainer, she regularly drained my not so awesome amount of milk anyway so prevented it from getting worse and it cleared up on it's own without ABs but ech for a couple of days there, how ridiculous at 10 months to get that! DD is a scratcher and my suspciion is a tiny nick on the underside of my booby or maybe a little bite let an infection in and it went right to the spot I had it so BAD with DD1, so must just be weak there.

Anyone elses bubs little roughians? DD is a real hair grabber, face masher (I think she thinks that's a hug), bite/sucker (kiss), swiper, and will downright wrestle DD1 and just grab the object of her desire (say DD1s bottle) and hurtle off to the other side of the room. Am wondering if this is a second child thing, but ouch it hurts a lot, I'm not a large fan, I have to keep one eye open all the time when she's about or she'll just come up and bite my leg.

Sas.. Ouch! Mastitis! That makes me shiver.. After being hospitalized for 4 days with it, I never want that again! Maybe Lilah has cut down on milk so thats why you are getting it now?
Harlee is a bit rough too, she has only JUST cut her first tooth and she will sneak up to me and bite my toe, boy it hurts, she is a scratcher, a pincher and a hair puller, although doesn't sound as rough as your Lilah!

Erica.. Harlee is not walking yet, just standing by herself, but not for long moments. I think as soon as she is walking a few things in the house will need to change! It's scary what she can already get into, she has been climbing the stairs for over a month now, so fast too! And she is attracted to the fire place .. and the oven! So I had to buy a fire guard, but I really dont want to shut her out of the kitchen as that is where we spend alot of time. We go to peoples houses and she crawls off and is so quite.. moments later I find her IN a drawer, pulling everything out!

Feedind is getting very difficult atm, Harlee is full of beans/has ants in her pants like her daddy, whilist feeding she will walk up me, turn herself upside down, pinch me REALLY hard on my saggy boobs.. ulgh. I have breastfeeding necklaces but she bores of them quickly.
AF has still not returned, but I think she may be on her way, starting to get the painful cramps I used to have the week before. but well see as they have been going for a week now.

Theo is a glasses stealer. Which means Miss 3 copies him and sits on your lap going ooh aah goo goo *grab glasses*.

He still isn't crawling, he obviously has a quota of overalls to wear through first by commando crawling before he gets up on his knees. He's started climbing up us and the furniture and can get over a surprising range of obstacles just by dragging himself around everywhere.

DD#1 was crawling when she was 7 months and talking at about the same but DD#2 was nothing like that, so we've already been through the whole thinking we've got a slow kid (rather, just had a fast one first time) and are just enjoying him being an overly cute happy smileypants. He's a really lovely baby.

Was in Adelaide buying furniture the other day and all slightly older salespeople seem to think he's gorgeous and he obligingly smiles at them and they coo over him lol ... but then we stayed overnight at the inlaws and it felt like they pretty much ignored us completely so its nice when *someone* pays attention to the kids, even if it is complete strangers after us for our money. The odd comment we did actually get from the inlaws about the kids all got turned into discussions about their cousins (who they can see anytime) which is really annoying considering we visit quite rarely. I don't think they realise they're ignoring us or focussing so much on the cousins, and neither of us are going to speak up about it, we just try and minimise time spent with them (which isn't hard). Its a bit sad though, it becomes this reinforcing cycle where we visit infrequently, we don't enjoy the visit at all, so we visit less frequently ... and now we've decided to just stop completely as why bother if it is disrupting to the kids routine, noone gets good sleep and there's noone to fuss over them and play with them like happens at my parent's house.

We have a lovely 4br house with all new furniture taking shape and we can do shopping in Adelaide in a day trip with only two of the kids (eldest can get herself home no problem) so there's really no need to stay overnight at all. Also delays needing to drop a small fortune on a new car. My parents have worked this out, they visit us every few weeks instead, which is nice, and the other set of inlaws visit us (and drag their bored offspring with them) every now and again too.

Edit: the inlaws visited on my birthday last year and the MIL spent almost the entire visit going on in greeeeaaaat length about some friend of hers that had just died of cancer and again, barely talked with us about US and again, we bit our tongues and didn't say anything and just went OMG about it afterwards. We're wimps. Avoidance is better than speaking up :(

erica: hospitals suck in deed. i got the baptisum of fire from both boys. so the two hospitals we went to in melbourne, they became second homes for us. up here we've been told we'll see them "more often" as well. i'm glad you told your DH you're off the pill and didn't just do it. that'd cause a rift with you guys - i've seen girls do that before and it wasnt pritty :( the bloke next door D is going though something like that with an Ex GF...and well yeah. :(

sas: aww poor thing with the mastitus! i haven't *touch wood* suffered from that yet. im glad your DD drained your boobie though so you didn't need AB's. and aww at DD almost walking. vic can stand with one hand holding on. im dreading him walking. its scary 'nuff as it is!

elf: :hug: i know the feeling with the IL's mine are fairly p!$$ poor too. my FIL has told DH he "cares very little" about me and my SOL. joy. aww at the lump commando crawling. vic skipped that part. and thats good about all the beds and stuff too! win.

i have a sneaking suspition D from next door is up to something when i saw some frame work and asked what it was for i got told "if i tell you i'd need to kill you" who knows. the cheeky little monky (who i have claimed as a third child) thinks its amuseing again to :ninja: up on me. but he has pruned our fruit trees.
I'm starting to feel i guess the "pinch" of it when the idea, and i guess the finality of not having any more babies. right now i am so utterly clucky i offered to "puppy sit" D's new dog. but i got told no. and no cuddles...now to hunt down a puppy for us! hopefully soon i'll have a puppy so i can go clucky over it...or else i may just join my hens in the chook house and lay an egg or two. *faceplam*

just a quick one from me while Cman is sleepiing. hopefully bbl for personals.
not much happening here, with mr c starting to crawl properly about 2 or 3 weeks ago. hes quiet happy coasting around the furniture as well, and can stand up for a few secs by himself as long as he doesnt notice that u have let go!
hes very chatty tho and will insist on being involved in any conversation that is happening around him and "sings" and dances to mucic :rofl: funniest thing ever!!
we had his 3rd hosp admission over the easter long weekend with severe gastro that DF picked up from somewhere and kindly passed on. for a kid with nothing wrong with him, he certainly has a fondness for hospitals i tell ya!!
ive got a meeting with the public hosp gyno people on the 19th so we can hopefully sort this freaking thing out cos i am FREAKING over DF being sulky over lack of DTD. not that it really worries me the actual no DTD, i am still really struggling with the PND so its not that high on my list of priorities right now.
AF returned yesterday *shakes fist* and thanks to not having had the procedure yet i cant use tampons and i am really NOT a pad person and i have to get my sis to go swimming with cman on monday if its still around. blah who woulda thought itd be so inconveniet??
BUT on the cluck cluck front, some friends of ours had their baby (lil boy weighing 10pd!!!!!) last monday and we went and saw them today, and omg hes just GORGEOUS!! hes half hungarian so beautiful olive skin and dark hair and deeeeeep dark eyes. i swear i just about coulda eaten him!!
oops i had better go, mr c is awake again *sigh* hes sick again today and on lactose free formula since having gastro. fingers crossed this is just a 24hr thing this time.

Af returned here on mothers day dammit. Stupid thing! But hopefully fertility returned too :D if I can bring myself to go through labour again then we will go for more kids, dh is more ready than ever and is just waiting for me to be ready, doh!

Harlee is still petite, but standing very well by herself now, she won't let us hold her hands to get her to walk though, can't believe she's one next month! So scary!

Ap - aww poor mr c and mumma! I hope the gyno's can help you out. I think my stiches from vic healed funny so I have a kinda dip/ pocket thing. Hope your ok ap, I, around if you need some one to text.

Tali - naw thats soo cute about harlee! She's a cutie. As for af, bugger! As for birthing again, each birth is its own. I was blessed to have good middies, but both births where worlds apart.

Afm: another one whoes af showed up, the biatch she is. Shes not a flow. Tmi but ita freaking sludge! Like semi dried blood. Maybe next month she'll get the hint? Mind you it looks like my cycle is 21-22 days long again. *groan* vic is not yet standing alone. It wont be long.though. Scary and sad as he is my last baby. As much as I could do it again dh is adiment he wont have another. And he is really getting to me as I want a puppy but due to a) us putting bella down and b) him not having a job and being really fussy about the job hes applying for. Hopefully soon I guess. Dj has had minor fit this week; not enough to call the ambos though (it was under a mineit) hopefully its a one off...now I better go clear the boys toys up while they attack my tuppawear stuff.

my AF ended up lasting 8days!!! 7 of proper heaving bleeding *shudder* im counting down the days until 19th i tell u! GP said that they might ask me to wait 6mths before getting pg again after the procedure to make sure everythings ok before another bub has to come past the scarring. gah im so cross with my body, it scars so badly and seems to have no stretch to it even in the best circumstances.
on a cheerier note *happy dance* my niece/nephew is due to arrive in 8weeks!! i felt him/her kick today! im so excited, ive lent them our NB and small naps to use cos ive got a cloth convert on my hands :) hopefully it will mean SIL will slow down a bit, shes ALWAYS busy with church and youth stuff so atm we dont see them much, im hoping in my own selfish way that this means we will be able to catch up more.

That's so strange that af has shown her ugly face to you too! Hopefully I get over my fears and get utd again, dh and I have been talking alot about it lately and we figured better sooner rather than later as it did take a few months to fall preg last time.

Ap - Yay! Convert your sil!! I gave my sil a few nappies in hope she would use them at least over night. they will fit her dd now but she keeps saying they are 'too big' GRR! Mind you she wants to do everything like her friends, she refuses to use a sling, must start dd on rice cereal at 4 months, must not breastfeed, must use discustables.. frustrates me so much because she complains about the cost of it all.. I have to bite my toungue around her. Can we swap sil's??


Af for me was the normal 5 days, the only problem is the endo has returned and worse than ever :( I have been having the worst cramps everyday and I've been pooping out blood the last 3 days, like a LOT of blood. I just dont think there is anything I can do about it though. I have been to the doctors 3 times, to 3 doctors, and they all look up my butt and say its an anal fissure. I have been to one specialist also and he said it was endo and they needed to stick a camera up there as soon as it next bleeds. And then I got the implanon and it went away.. and that was 4 or so years ago now. I dont know what to do now. There is only the one specialist that I know of (the one I went to) I dont think I could go back there.

AP : gah about the lack of the gyno visit :( that sucks (going off FB for that one) i hope you get in sooner!!

Tali: aww poor thing. maybe see the GP and see the specialest? i know its hard to "go back" but maybe its worth it? maybe they can help now its post-baby and still there? KWIM?

AFM: been busy here. my folks came up last night/today for a vist. ended up going to the RSPCA in town and adopting a baby boy. his name is Tigger (shhhh on FB for now, lol) and he's 4 and a bit months old he's a Staghound Cross (guessing whippit or grayhound) and he's a smooch! my dad liked him and the boys liked him too (and he them) which was fantastic. we pick him up monday as he needs to be...ahem...made less manly. but thats ok. gives us time to fully fence the house yard and set up some kind of sleeping arrangement haha. (DH says "NO BED" ...now haha) but yeah. makes up for the loss of baby bella (kind of) as i'm a dog girl at heart (no more trying to steal D's dog macca, haha) and i think it's good for me to have a dog too. seeing as i love walking, i wont look *so* nutty doing laps around the block (1.2km per lap) plus seeing as DH has said no to more babies i get a puppy to dote on; lol. plus it'll help me feel ok when DH starts work! it also helps that the staghound is the gentelman of the dog world...so tigger will look all tough but be a smooch. hehe.

Vic is standing semi aided - as in holding on with one hand! scary, scary scary! he's also saying more things like "nannanana *rasberry*" and daddaddad mummummum which is cute (again scary) and i feeling like my little man aint so little! although i did have some back lash from my mum about b/f she asked when i was 'stopping' and i shrugged and said "when vics ready." which she wasn't 100% sure about. but meh. it works. she also got wearded out 'cus i'm a mummy dummy. oh well.

Well i better go and make something for dinner...

Oh Dani!! A staghound!!! Our dog is a staghound cross border collie and she is an awesome dog!

I'm still around. No belly bump yet, but 14weeks and it is going both fast and slow. All day sickness is a real kick up the backside. I'm completely exhausted and struggling with it. I'm still feeding P 4 times through the day, plus a couple overnight at the moment, and it is taking it's toll on my body. Because I'm not eating much, growing a baby, feeding a baby (yes he is still my baby!) and sustaining myself is not happening. I passed out the other night whilst feeding P and it was scary :( I'm not ready to give up feeding P, and neither is he - he came and pulled my shirt down tonight and started grabbing at my boob :lol:
P is cruising along the furniture and the walls, and can walk really well if he has something to hold onto - his toys, your hand, leg... and he is getting pretty good at standing without holding on :O I really am not ready to admit that my baby turns 1 in a couple of weeks, and that he is pretty much a toddler.... I want my little baby back!! Brad keeps telling me that I have another one on the way so it's okay...

What's everyone's plans for bubs' 1st birthday? We are having a bbq picnic with family and close friends, and there is a big grassed area, duck pond, animals and play equipment there... Just keep your fingers crossed the weather is nice for us!

UntoldAngel - you need to look after yourself honey! Try and get more protein and fat into you by having a breakfast smoothie with whole milk, yoghurt and fruit. Skip anything low fat or low sugar and just EAT good whole healthy foods. Add butter, avocado, full fat cheese etc to your meals to get your calories up. You have to nourish your body for your boobie monster and your growing baby :) Glad the morning sickness is letting up though.

Dani - how exciting that you have a new baby in your house! Hope he is well behaved around the boys. I bet the boys just love having their new "brother" around! How is DJ going with his siezures? Are they calming down now or still bad?


Tali - I'm so sorry that you're having endo/AF/butt issues.. was it like this before you had Harlee? Hope you're feeling better. Watch your iron levels and eat loads of meat and leafy greens to make sure you don't become anaemic because of blood loss!


AP - how exciting! A cousin for Mr C! Hope your procedures goes OK, when are you having it?

AFM - 3 more weeks and my little boy turns 1. WTH? no seriously... a year has gone by since he arrived. I want my baby back. He doesn't look like a baby any more, he looks like a little boy. He stood up by himself without holding on to anything for like 5 seconds last night - he did that a couple of times. Me and DH were just sitting there opened mouthed and L didn't even think anything of it. So proud! I want to be pregnant again Soooooooooooooooooooooo badly. DH still has his depression, and is on meds which means his libido is down the tubes.. which means we DTD twice a month if I'm lucky? Not to mention we've moved back in with mum and dad while we sell our place so there's even less chance of BM with a house full of people ... and lets also throw in PCOS and missing AF (on CD 32 right now).. so not sure if I've ovluated or not or what the hell is going on. Oh yeah, and DH doesn't want number 2 just yet (but he isn't taking any steps to prevent it IYKWIM)... So the plan is to go to my doctor and get another hormone panel done and possibly put me on metformin to help regulate my periods. Then if nothing has happened by the end of the year, we might try a few rounds of clomid and see if that helps. Who knows, L was our natural miracle so maybe number 2 will arrive the same way.

Just found out one of my close friends is having twins! She's 7 weeks pregnant but bleeding.. so she thought she'd lost the baby, but had an US and found 2 heartbeats. She has a doctors appointment today to see what's going on. Send your prayers and I'll pass them on. Would Love to be PG with her...

AFM vic is a little terror. gotta love him though, will happily push is "car" around showing off. cant belive that our little ones will be ONE veeery soon! blarg. makes me clucky as hell. *sob* i'm looking into the IUD/marina for contriseption as DH has said NO MORE babies and he wont get the snip (i'd be laughed at for asking for my tubes tied as im 22!) and i want a "set and forget" one that i can use while still feeding vic. and the idea of a/f every three weeks is honstly shI!ting me to tears! i dont want to see her that often. if at bloody all (pardon the pun!) plus with everything thats happening with the boys...a "set and forget" is a good thing. as i forget where i leave my keys most of the time! (i'm waiting to leave them at D's place LOL)

I better go and type up the invites for vics birthday - they're just for the people on our street, lol.

Hey everbody, hope all is well, so scary having one year olds now!

Harlee has taken a few steps on her own, but only to keep her balance so she can stand. But I'm not pushing it coz as soon as she's walking.. Eek! I need more energy for her as she's already full of beans! She still won't sleep more than 3 hours at night, 2 weeks ago we had to call 1800granma just so we could get a few hours sleep. We keep telling our selves this too shall pass, but it hasn't, and we are tired.

Well I got pregnant too, but after constant testing, the bfp slowly faded away and we lost the little one, I feel kind of guilty about it though because I wasn't over joyed when we found out, just really shoked, but I was still happy itms. But when we found or, dh was crying because he was so happy, so I've realised that this is something he really wants and after having lots of talks about, I do to. But now my body is out of whack again and af has decided to go on strike.

My parents went to japan for the weekend and got stuck in hong kong for a few nights because of the ash cloud, we had a funeral yesterday for or friends little baby so for the first time ever, I let.. The mil.. Babysit.
Yep. She had harlees cousin there for the whole day as she is the free daycare for sil, and we went to the funeral, for an hour then came back, and she was happy so I fed her and she fell asleep. So I put her down and dh and I went off and did the shopping. It was so weird, I couldnt stop worrying about her but I knew she was fine.
I have seperation anxiety!! And Harlee doesn't!! *sigh*

We are just having a family bbq for Harlee's birthday, invites went out a week ago. I didn't want to do anything overestimating otherwise I would need an arvo nap too.

Tali - I'm sorry to hear about your BFN that was a BFP. Do you think it could have been a chemical pregnancy? have you been to see your GP to get a blood test done or has AF arrived yet? Hopefully we'll be belly buddies again! Wouldn't that be awesome?

Dani - hope you get your IUD / AF situation sorted out! I've got the opposite problem, AF is nowhere to be seen! I went to CD 47 this month without AF, but when she came UGH it was painful! Cycle before that was only 26 days so I don't know WTF is going on with my cycles.

My baby boy turns 1 on thursday.... OMG! Where has a year gone?? We're having a birthday party for him on Sunday and have invited all my Mumma's and babies... so there will be around 30 people (including 10 babies) at our place for 2 hours. not sure how the babies will handle being awake for that long as it's usually afternoon nap time for L around 3pm.. Looking forward to meeting Belle and Mr P too as they said they would be coming!

I've been thinking about to his Birth-Day and I relive it in my head.. it was such an amazing and intense day.. full of emotions.. SO SO SO SO Badly want to fall PG again. Am going to see the GP on Friday for L's year 1 vaccinations and will talk about my next steps re possibly starting metformin for my PCOS or going back to see the FS to get things moving for Baby #2.

in other news, our place is on the market for sale, so we're back in with my parents. Love being home.. mum loves having us, especially her grandbaby :) Hopefully the sale is quick and painless and we get what we want for it. DH will only consider having #2 when all this house sale stuff is sorted out.. so until that happens I won't be PG.

AFM: been busy sorting out Vics birthday stuff. we've got my folks, my aunt & uncle, sister & BIL (they've been together 10 years, lol), D & his mum, Bob and his wife, lorrie (last 5 are all people who live on our Ave) and Floss and her DP. so its kinda family/friends. but nothing huge. just enough. (well i think the people in our street are going to become our second family, seeing as ours are that far away) i'm making a choc-ripple cake (easy, non-cooked and can be ohh so messy. Tali- Sorry to hear about your BFP not turning out how it should. You know, even in planned pregnancies, we can have mixed feelings, worries etc, I hope you don't keep feeling guilty because you didn't do anything wrong. When your body stars cooperating it sounds like your DH is on board if you decide to try for another though, that's exciting.

Speaking of bodies - am I the only one who hasn't had AF at all yet? Ok, I (even though my SIL is about to pop and my GF just had a brand new teensy, tiny bubba and I just go awwwww, awwww) do NOT want to have another baby right now, DH may not want a third at all, but I am wondering when AF will rear her head. Maybe when Lilah starts sleeping through. I shouldn't complain, because she's had an awful ear infection, molar teething and really high temps, but it's been enough to reinforce my commitment to start sleeping through, lose that last 5kg, (and maybe 5 on top so I'm super hot) and likely even have Lilah toilet trained before I want another one, I'm just so tired, all the time, I'm so tired, and I'm 26, it's sad, I don't know what my problem is, I've even had some catch up sleeps now and I just don't have any energy. Blech, an unexpected side effect of motherhood for me I tell you.

Oooh, here's a woo hoo from us - Elly is toilet trained now, truly just clicked, (not for sleeps) but daytime, yes sir-y, yay. Also I can make her eat now, and she fetches me stuff for Lilah, my goodness, yes, they become more independent and self-willed, but I can see my future with older children and it's lookin good. Hmmm, do I want to go back??

Erica - I hope your house goes through, markets forces are making life difficult for those selling, my MIL wants to unload her rental, so hope all goes smoothly for you.

So I held a 1st birthday for Lachlan yesterday. He was a bit of a Diva, all the babies getting in his space and playing with all his toys made him VERY cranky so he was Mr Cranky McCrankyPants the entire time. I still had a wonderful time! :confetti: Belle and Parker came all the way from Newcastle to come to Lachlan's birthday so I got to meet her and have lots of cuddles with Parker - that was AWESOME! So lovely to finally meet her and her boy. Man, can I say - he sure does put the food away... where I'm not sure cos he's like 2kg less than Lachlan! Anyway, looking forward to catching up with B and P in August when I am up there - hope to make it a more regular thing that's for sure!

Dani - my heart goes out to you at the moment with DJ being in hospital. :comfort: :hug: I know there is nothing I can do, but please know you are in my prayers. You are an AWESOME mama and I hope DJ comes through this bout of fits with no problems. *hugs* :grouphug:

Sas - *cluck cluck boing cluck* the sound of a chicken with a biological clock! :ROFL: hehe. My AF came back (irregularly) after I stopped BF in February. I've had alot more regular cycles (read: more than once every 5 months) than before so I'm happy with that. Poor little Lilah having that ear infection and teething! Hope she starts sleeping through soon... I know how it is, your mind wants to go to the gym and lose that weight, your body says stay in bed it's lovely and warm ARGH!! Hooray for toilet training. It's probably a bit early for Lachlan to start with the toilet training considering he can't even walk yet... but I'm eager to start trying as soon as he's ready. Do you want a number 3?? How exciting if you do!! :leap:

AFM - started on Metformin last friday to help with regulating my AF and hopefully seeing a bit of weight loss. The side effects aren't pretty, but my doctor did warn me about them. He said they should settle down after a month or so. On CD11 today so charting my temps, checking my CM etc over the next few days to see if I'm ovulating. Last cycle was 47 days so not holding out much hope, but the cycle before that was 26 days so who knows what's going on. DH is still not on board with having number 2 just yet, but if it happens now I'll be thrilled... if he's still not on board by September (2 years between #1 and #1) to start trying then we need to have a talk and make sure we're on the same page. :think:

Still living with mum and dad. It's OK, nice to have loads of people around for Lachlan to play with but missing our own space.. Don't get me wrong, it's a huge house with heaps of room, but it's not the same as having our own space.

Oh yeah,and I finally joined as a lifetime member on this site! So I should be getting a new avvy soon! How exciting! :confetti:

Well... apparently I'm almost 20weeks!! We had our scan yesterday, and bub was looking very cute, and healthy. The 4D scan wasn't the best, as bub was cuddled into the placenta, but we did get a look :) The placenta is anterior this time, but high so no problems there, but it does explain why the movements I feel are soo sporadic. By this stage with P it was a non-stop party :rolleyes: but at least now I know that it is okay and I'm not stressing when I don't feel bub move for 20hrs. I can also reveal they are pretty certain that we are having a little girl! I nearly jumped off the table when she told us, and I made her check 5 times just to be certain :lol: You are all sworn to secrecy though, because we don't intend on telling people (well I have told my BFF who is 6weeks pregnant!)

Quick one, but Yaaaay for Belle - Girls are just the best, and hey Erica, yaaay for the positive opk the green light from DH and one hot avy!!

Damn, all these people getting knocked up and the rest having no AF ... I'm soooooo over babies and been having AF religiously since Theo was 3 months old lol ... AF has got shorter and heaver after baby #2 and #3. MUCH shorter and MUCH heavier after #3, which created a lot of messy sheets/clothes until I figured out that what I've been doing about it for the last 20 odd years doesn't work anymore. Bah.

Theo is just being a cute lump, well, not so much a lump for a while there, his percentile had been slowly dropping from 75th to 25th and he was noticably petite - only one chin, no rolls, no rubber band wrists, and only a light covering of lard all over. Then he decided to ramp up the BF to hourly all night and sort of inflated into a fat baby with chins and rolls within a week. Now he's back to 2-4 hours at night.

Last night was awful, he went to bed at 10 (this is early for him) and woke up at 11, 12, 1, 2, 3, 4, 4:30, 5, 5:30, and stuff it you can stay in our bed now, 8:30. He'd grown out of his old onesies so last night was the first night he went to bed in just a onesie and no jumper (we were trying new onesies on the poor child and I forgot the jumper) so I'm not doing THAT again. Other half is normally a really bad, light sleeper (gee, wonder where the kids get it from) and he has a fever at the moment and actually slept through it all, which is REALLY unusual for him.

Since Theo was so fashionably late he's still not 1 until July 4th, and he's not having a party until July 9th, which is my father's birthday. We're probably going to round their birthdays together for ages. Miss 3's birthday gets rounded to Xmas and Miss 10 has only ever had 2 birthday parties at home with her friends because her birthday is such a terrible time of year too. At least the other half gets an entire public holiday to himself for his.

Been busy here. as most of you know DJ thought it'd be a smashing idea to have 9 fits in 12hours - with all the drugs we could admisiter at home. so off to the local hospital. my folks drove the 3hours in the middle of the nigh to watch vic as i was in with DJ and DH had work. we're now on the max dose of keppra. the minium of eppi-lim and have rivatril and madaziln on hand too. i look like a druggie when i go out with a bag of drugs - blunt (no needle) syringes and a spoon ALL in a plastic bag in my hand-me-drugs-bag. here's hoping i *dont* get pulled over any time soon. that'll leave the copper going :wtf: :rofl: i've started working on stuff for vic's birthday. its not huge but with the people who live on our street comming i thought i'd better *try* and look like a good mumma haha. we bought vic a train with blocks and a thomas the tank DVD. i think others have bought him that too - as we asked for nothing (but D from next door his mum told me off for that LOL)
Vic is saying mum and dad and "nan" haha plus buuuurrrrrrr for car and "up" but not walking unaided yet.
Better go. my eyes about to shut on me!

Talking is funny ... my first started talking VERY clearly at about 6 months, second at around a year, third just babbles away happily to himself, lots of sounds but none have meaning attached to them yet (other parents would be strutting around saying he says "mum" and "dad" and "bub"). I was convinced my second one was some kind of really slow starter until I actually read the paperwork and found out she was normal and it was the first who was freakishly early :lol:

Accidentally let the lump sleep from 3-6 while I was working so I doubt I'm going to get much sleep tonight either ...

I have a very grumpy teething monster for a baby today. He didn't want to eat his porridge. He's getting 2 more teeth and is in alot of pain. Sad for him.

I've also decided that after we finish our formula that we have in the house I'm going to put Lachlan onto cows milk and stop formula. He's now on 3 x 180mL bottles of formula per day and water in between. I'm trying to drop his daytime bottle so he has one when he wakes and at bed time. He's also drinking through a straw sippy cup now which he couldn't do last week. Yay!

I think we DTD too early this month for me to be UTD. I heard sperm can live for up to 5-7 days in optimal conditions. We DTD on Tuesday and I O'd on Friday ( yesterday). I had EWM yesterday and a temp dip down to 35.9C, and a +ve OPK so I'm pretty sure I O'd. so if DH's swimmers survived for 3+ days then there is a very small chance that they found my egg yesterday but I'm not holding out hope. It's only our first month of TTC. I'm just so excited I O'd ... At all!! :happydance:
