Congrats Emma!!!!!!!!!! Another Junie to drink the tainted water of BellyBelly!
Maya - what a busy weekend you had! Can't wait to see your painting, I'm like you and consider myself a trier, not an artist. Oscar sounds like he is doing so well at swimming. Marley starts back next term so I am looking forward to that. Love homemade soap, when you get a supply going can I try a sample? There are so many bundle deals available it gets very confusing!! Was going to swap from Telstra to Optus as they had the $69 cap with free line rental, local calls and 2GB internet use. Although reading some of the other posts, some of the smaller places offer good deals too. Did Oscar enjoy his spot of gardening?
Nic - did you manage to get some sleep? You shouldn't be cringing I am sure you look great. Last time I saw you which was a long time ago, you looked so good.
Bath - great to have you back. Your deal sounds very cheap, which I like lol!!!! Esp if DH is doing downloads etc, might have to investigate it further. My DH would love to download music and movies etc but I won't let him as it would use up too much of our limit.
Tali - good to see you back. Glad you feeling more like yourself again. Great if you move back to Melb, you can meet up with all us other Melb Junies.
Emishka - congratulations on your pregnancy!
Had a GF for lunch today with her little 5 week old son, he is such a cutie. Poor thing has reflux and not being kind to his mummy. Its very hard to offer help as I have no idea what it must be like to have a reflux baby (and I hope I never do!). It was lovely having lots of cuddles with him though. Marley wasn't too happy whenever I had him, she just grunted at me. Better go get my work stuff ready - night all! :)
Just winding down now - not that I can really afford to, I have work due! I have Oscar being taken away by MIL tomorrow, though, so that gives me some time.
Nic - same as what Mel said, you looked great when we saw you in January. I know how you feel, though. When I fell pg I was still a lot bigger than I had been before I had my depo provera injection and I just wanted to get back to within a cooee of that size again. I'm sort of there - some bits are smaller and other bits just aren't! I'd like to be really fit before the next pg, but if it doesn't happen, it doesn't happen (I've got about 7 months before we throw caution out the window!).
Mel - LOL, I'm more of a trier than you are!! I'll try to upload my pics onto Facebook, while the BB Gallery is down. I sure will spread the love with these soaps. You wanna be my crash test dummy? I think I need to increase the amount of oils I put in them, I don't think it's nearly enough. I might have to start ordering oils in 100ml sizes from either Auroma or The Naked Press (eBay company that does these sizes). The lady who supplies my 10ml bottles is SOOOOO nice - she's from eBay but she lives in the next suburb down the mountain and she has completely waived the delivery fee, saying that it's ridiculous to charge postage when she lives so close and delivers it to my letterbox anyway! What about the petrol for her car?? She sure has my business! And yes, Oscar thought he was just so bloody clever getting on top of the table to eat the plant  Swimming is nearly over - dad's day on Sat, but DP is working (a cash job, shhhh) so I get to hop in the pool again, poor me (it's my favourite part of the week!). Next term the classes are at 9.30 instead of 9. I think Oscar is the only child in that class who gets put into the car still asleep. Poor Marley, being displaced like that by a little boy! Have fun at work tomorrow.
Hi again, Emma :) Please post about Cait's goings on!
We went to our birthday party today and I ended up dressing Oscar up as Superbaby. He had his Bonds terry all in one, in blue, with a red terry flat nappy for undies and another red terry in a triangle wrapped as a cape - it was very funny, but I don't think we got any photos of it! I got photos of him after I'd changed him eating cake.
Well, I've mopped the kitchen floor (hadn't been done since last year, I'm sure of it!), made sandwiches, packed Oscar's bag for trip with MIL (I'll have to teach her about pocket nappies, but for tomorrow she can have the disposables - she gets a bit lazy with the terries and leaves them on for as long as you could get away with leaving a sposie on...she used cloth for DP and BIL, but I guess my older niece and nephew's childhood of sposies spoilt her:rolleyes:), tidied up a bit (floor is clear so that I can spend the first half hour without Oscar doing the vacuuming) and desk is a bit tidied up on my side (so that I can study!!). Oscar just tried to wake up, but a well placed booby fixed that.
See ya's tomorrow!
haha Maya that sounds sooooo cute "Oscar the Superbaby" if anyone else got pics and sends them to you be sure to facebook em!
Emma- CONGRATULATIONS!! how exciting Caitlyn will be a big sister. wishing you a healthy pregnancy and so there will be just on 2yrs between them well done!
Does that make 5 Junies UTD?
Me - October
Rory- December
Ali- December
Donna- February
Emma - May
ahh Mel dont remind me about reflux babies lol! gosh i hope this bub doesn't get it like Nixon had it. after we got medication the pain assoc with it dwindled somewhat but nothing stops the actual projectile everytime he had a feed! i hope your gf bubba can get what he needs to help him soon. Having had reflux both pregnancies i really feel for the poor babies who suffer from it, its horrible.
Finally mine is under control. My OB told me to get Renatidine which is a Zantac brand. i can have 1-2 tablets a day when i feel it coming and its helped soooooo much.
Got my OB appointment today and my doula is coming over tomorrow!
First of all congrats Nic on making past your PROM date, you are doing great only just over 6 weeks to go, how is the doula going? How is DH with the doula?
Emma congrats on the pg, what a wonderful surprise and for it to happen so quickly.
Maya Oscar would have looked sooo cute as superbaby, what a shame you didn't get any piccy's, you are so creative making soaps. Hope you get all your assignments and study done today.
Mel yay on becoming a platinum member and the name change, we're with Telstra and pay $69.95 per month and have 12GB download and since been on this plan we haven't gone over the download limit and DH downloads alot of music.
Bath good to see you back, how are you feeling now?
Hello Rory, Ali and Jess.
Wow I can't believe that there are 5 Junies pg again, hopefully I'll be joining those ranks soon, lol.
We went out 4wding on the weekend and had a great time playing in the mud then went back to some friends place and had a chat it was great. Going out again this weekend and then having a BBQ at the same friends house so will be a good day and night.
hugs xoxo
Maya - how cool having a home delivery service for your oils! That is so nice of her to do that. PML at the thought of Oscar in his superman cossie!!!!! You have to get a picture.
Well, I've mopped the kitchen floor (hadn't been done since last year, I'm sure of it!), - thats hilarious!!!! I have to do mine nearly every 2nd day!
Nic - I didn't realise that Nixon was a reflux baby. My GF little man has silent reflux so he doesn't throw up, he just screws himself up and screams, poor thing. I don't think she is getting much help from her GP either. I have told her to check BB as I know there have been heaps of threads about silent reflux. Thats great that you've got yours under control, it must have been driving you nuts. I had it only midly, so I can't imagine what it must feel like to have it bad. Did you decide to go with a doula? Must have missed that somewhere. I remember you saying you were going to meet up with one but you still had to convince DH.
Amanda - 12 GB is heaps of download! The more people tell me the more I am convinced I need a better plan! Sounds like a fun weekend and another to come. Our list of expectant mums is getting much bigger - you next, then Maya, then maybe me LOL!
Work today and its almost lunchtime - I am so hungry!!!
Yes, Nic, do tell about the doula, please!
Amanda - your weekend sounds awesome...makes me want to throw DP into the shed to finish our Landcruiser ute!
Sorry, Em - forgot to say congratulations and sending stickies your way!
I think I'll have to dress Oscar back up again and take photos...forgot to ask the GF who's party it was if she got any, I saw her again this morning.
Mel - we're really slack with floor hygiene around here - our back door opens directly into the kitchen, so whilst we especially should mop, it seems too hard with everyone traipsing in and out all the time (gotta go through kitchen to get to the rest of the house). This morning I did mop again because the dogs came in with wet and slightly muddy feet.
Oscar is off with MIL...it's weird not having him around again - it's been a good 3 months since she took him last! I'm wishing her luck, though, cos he may not take well to being stuck in teh sling if he's not tired...
Better get back to listening to this lecture, then down to some reading and writing!
Good afternoon :) Back from play group and coffee afterwards. Niall asleep, Wade watching Thomas but needing endless food, will have to make him a promised sandwich soon.
Mel: I haven't forgotten to send your av... it's on the desktop (other computer) which i'll turn on later this afternoon. I had so much reading to catch up with yesterday I never got round to it , or back in here... all up to speed now. So many changes... and I had to check out the arcade. Also check out Pacific Internet's website for a full run down on their plans.
Amanda: I'm feeling more positive at the moment, thanks for asking. I think I'm just itching for a change. There was a new mum at play group today that has lived all over the world as expats... she was very inspiring. Getting out for a 4WD sounds like fun... it's been ages since i have gotten out of the city, it's getting to me.
Nic: Thanks so much for listing the preggy Junies and their due months :) Don't fret about your weight too much, chasing after Nixon and juggling a baby will soon slough it off! I'm finding it hard to keep up with Niall these days, no doubt Nix is also everywhwere and into everything! I'm sure that Powpow will be reflux free... it doesn't run in families does it? Let us know how it goes with your doula too.
Maya: Ooh your soaps sound lovely, well done. I can relate to mopping the floor once in a blue moon... do you have floorboards? We do and it hides the grime that doesn't get swept away so well that I also don't bother. However, we had white tiles in our last house and I was like Mel, doing it every second day. Never have light tiles if you are a family with small children, they create just too much work, plus things break more easily when dropped. I don't know about the other June babies but Niall is driving me nuts getting into the kitchen cupboards! He hones straight for my crockery too and gleefully shows me a snatched treasure before dropping it on the floor. Thankfully our everyday crockery is mainly Op Shop stuff... the good sets are packed away... but I like my Op Shop crockery! Awwww not taking a piccy of Oscar in his superbaby outfit! Gonna have to be an encore! Sounded so cute!
Jess: How's your doula training going? You an' me will just have to be content with living vicariously through the other preggy Junies hey? I think we are the only two who have definately finished?
tali: I was feeling a bit down at the same time as you and I am blaming that luna eclipse now! So many people say they are starting to feel a bit better after a period of 'downness'. Weird. Hope your moving plans go smoothly! Didn't your DD have an issue with cold weather? I hope that doesn't become a problem and look forward to meeting you too if we are still here when you arrive! :)
Rory: Was your next Mercy appointment tomorrow? Was that the day you and Mel were coming over? If so that would be lovely :) I can show you my new BumGenius nappy! it's brilliant!
hey this is getting loooong.... i'd better post it incase i lose it.... will add more later!
Maya had to lol when read about the mopping I too never mop as when I do like on sunday ( the 1st time in I dont know how long ) by monday the house was trashed again God knows what the kids do but there was crap from one end of the house to the other, so now all I think is why bother so I will again wait until it looks gross again and then mop but as we have white tiles I should really do it more. Thanks for asking about my sister almost forgot I had writen a post She is doing ok seems like she a some kind of reation to the meds they were giving her so dont know what the means now as she seems to reacted to everything but we just see what each day brings and hope for not to many more attacts.
Bath my Dh is ok with the weather just hates the cold wind but I think that the main thing last time we live there was the lack of $ but this time we are in a better job so that shouldnt be a problem
I cant believe so many junies are pg I look at Kai and there is no way I could cope with another but then I have had 3yr gaps and loved it as the 1st is toilet trained before bub comes even though I really wanted to have a 2 yr gap I am happy it worked out this way I guess the universe new it would be too hard to have them closer when DH is away all the time.
Amanda we love 4x4 driving as well. Dh loves it a bit more then me as I hate edges always feel like I am going to go over or the car will roll but we went up to cooktown by the coast road and it was really really scrary dont think I will do that again in a hurry DH now wants to sell the 80 series and get a tropie or 60 series so he can fix it as they dont have computers and that way he can do all the repairs and then he wants to go up the cape york I guess we would have to do that this time as we hope to move next yr.
well must go as bold is about to start ( sad I know but I just love to watch a good soap )
http://lilypie.com/pic/070910/NTDv.jpghttp://b2.lilypie.com/PJSxp10/.png
well unfortunatley i wont be meeting with my doula tomorrow now. 2 of her children have chicken pox and she thinks its best to stay away from Nix & I. so bit bummed about that but re schedule for next week and make sure bub stays baking till im sorted!
Speaking of weight i had my ob appointment today and put on 1.5kg since last visit 2 weeks ago.... but i had a naughty lunch and lots of water before hand so hoping that contributed.
On a good note my gf rang me from holidays in NZ this arvo to tell me she is engaged! and also asked if i would be bridesmaid! they are thinking they will marry feb/march so bit incentive to get off all the weight by the wedding now!
Maya- yeah do that dress oscar back up, i wanna see the pics!
reflux doesnt run in the family i dont think so i think i just suffer from it in pregnancy and maybe Nixon cause he was premmie. atleast this time i know a lot more about it so can get on top of it straight away and know small things that can make a big difference.
Mel- yeah we met with the doula but i had already made up my mind i wasnt going to let anyone change it lol! my sister and mum dont really "get it" but dh has kinda come around to he idea!
Amanda- i hope you make it number 6 in here too good luck!
Maya - how did MIL go with Oscar today and did you get much study done? You know my family room and the light coloured tiles we have, they look great but a bugger to keep clean. I usually sweep everyday and mop every second! Drives me nuts but I hate the mess lol!!! I do love floor boards and wish I had of got them instead of tiles.
Bath - I can't wait to see my av again, can't remember what it looked like now, I just remember it looked great! Checked out the Pacific Internet site today as well as Netspace, iinet, Optus, Telstra. I have so much info to look through and sort out which plan is best and save me $. I thought Rory's app was next Wed? Hope so as I have things I need to do tomorrow. Tiles are a pain, like I said to Maya and they do break things easier. I can't tell you the amount of crockery that I have dropped! Also not good for babies learning to crawl and walk - lots of accidents and lots of tears!
Tali - I'm like you and have a 3 1/2 year gap between my girls. I had always intended on having a bigger gap as I wanted Chelsea toilet trained and in a big bed by the time the next one came. If we try for a 3rd I would like the gap to be a bit smaller, maybe 2 1/2 years. Don't want to leave it much longer as I will be getting too old LOL!!! I love Bold too but don't get to watch much.
Nic - bummer about the doula! But better to be safe. How exciting being a bridesmaid! I have only been a maid of honour once (and I was 32 weeks pg with Chelsea) and I loved it. I'm sure you'll look fabulous by Feb/March. Doesn't really matter if you mum and sister don't understand, as long as you are happy with her, she is there to support you and I'm sure it will the best decision for you and DH.
Quiet night here tonight, DH at work late and I have been reading through my junk mail and the local paper. Also got the new Ikea catalogue but will chill out with that later - need time to look through that one!
Bath-I agree....but hasn't Dee said Nathan was her last as well? Well we can Mother hen these girls!
Doula training is going slow atm, but as I 'm doing 4 things at once here ( Pand F President, PASH, Doula Training and being a mum and wife), it will have keep going the way it is.!
Hey Jess - you will be one busy lady for sure!
Mel and Bath - my next Mercy appointment is next Wednesday. It is at 8am so I could be at Bath's by about 9.30 (I am having the glucose challenge test that day too).
Nickers I am dreading reflux too - Flynn didn't have it but I don't know how I would handle it is this bub did - I wouldn't know what to do!!
Tali glad your sister is faring well :)
Maya you are barve venturing into facebook - I am scared I will get hooked on another webiste like I have bellybelly!!
Emishka - congratulations - woohoo!!!
tali that is great news about your decisions - it is so much better when life has some certainty :)
Better go - boy is asleep and I have a long list of stuff to get done :)
Ta Rory... looking forward to next Wednesday! :) Have to admit I'm a bit relieved as there is stuff everywhere here ATM embarrassingly messy. Gotta go get Wade from Kinder soon... but Mel: I've just sent through your avatar... I think the pony tail needs to be longer... anyhow let me know what adjustments you would like :)
Mel: I've just sent a reply to your email. Hope to see your temporary avvy up soon!
hey ladies, you chat so much! alot going on here at the moment... always hectic!
my net is with bigpond, havent had too much troubles with them. $59.95 a month, 12GB d/l, and i get the firsy 9 months at half price. Mine cuts down to dial up speed when i go over my limit.
congrats to those who r pg atm...
Just taking a naughty break from assignment writing...
Melbourne Junies - as of next Monday night, I'm going to be a Tupperware Demonstrator...so if any of you know of anyone who needs or wants a party (provided Nic isn't going to be in Melbourne for some reason, I don't want to cut your lunch!!), let me know! I'm so nervous about this on a few levels - time, travel, networking...argh!
Ok, will do personals later...just thought I'd get in with that...
Hi girls just poking myhead in quickly. Tori is really sick with croup and we were up most of the night with her. She has had a dose of oral steroids but is still quite unwell. I am crossing my fingers that she will recover quickly becase it is not a nice thing for any little baby to go through, I didnt realise quite how distressing to listen to untill she started coughing yesterday afternoon and couldnt catch her breath.
I will be back in soon to let you know how she is going.
Just sticky beaking again...
Oh, no, Ali! Poor little chicken - I hope she improves real soon for her own comfort, and also yours
sending lots of recovery vibes your way ali...
im hanging around too, curled up on the couch. What a miserable day in perth! not feeling the best, be glad when its over... :(
Oh Ali! I was just talking to another mum at Kinder today about her little boy's croup... it sounded shocking! *touch wood* my children have never had it. Apparently when they cough they sound like seals? poor little mites :( Keep an eye on her lips... at the first sign of blueness go straight to the hospital or call an ambo. If her lips are rosey then she's fine. Don't want to worry you though :hugs: but it's like asthma: the oxygen deprivation can creep up slowly. She will be fine if you keep an eye on her, poor darling, it's almost as bad for the parents when they are sick!
Hiya Katnap and Maya :) I'm surrounded by mess and filth... need a whip here too! LOL :whip:
Rory - should be right to catch up next Wed if I get my finger out early enough!!! Glucose test, yuk!!!
Bath - got your email, thanks so much. They were having trouble locating my payment, hopefully they can find it and I can become official!
Kat - I am with bigpond too but need to get a better plan. I might have to stick it out with them until my contract expires next year but I can up my plan to a better one.
Maya - congratulations! You will be a fantastic demonstrator. I will definately let you know if anyone wants a party.
Ali - poor Tori, must be awful having her so sick. Like Bath, both my girls have never had it and I hope they never do. Get well soon Tori.
Just been out in the garden again today, its actually not too bad outside. Marley just loves being outside. She has been going up to the back door and banging on it but when I say no, she chucks a bit tanty!!! We have a toy in the backyard that you fill with water (when there was no restrictions!) and it has boats etc in it. It has some water in it from the rain and Marley decided to play with that, she got so wet and dirty but she had a ball. I just left her wet and dirty and she wandered around the yard following Chelsea. Its so sweet to see them getting along well. She is having a snooze now, I think the outdoors wear her out lol! Chelsea chilling out watching Bindi the Jungle Girl on ABC Kids. Might be my cue to have a cuppa and start dinner.
Kat...i just read about losing your precious angel...I hope your partner is looking after you!
Good spot, Jess! Kat, so sorry  No wonder you feel like crap, honey (I was wondering what you meant by 'it' being over, I assumed there was bad weather in Perth that you were waiting out - my brain is split 6 ways ATM and I would have missed a post elsewhere here about it cos I'm sticking to Junies till I'm done). BB is the best place for you to hang out for support and many shoulders to cry on - but don't forget to get out and feel the air, hear the birds, touch some plants and get in tune with yourself when you're ready
Woo Hoo Mel's Avvy is up! I've been hitting "refresh" all afternoon! LOL This is just a temporary one until i can do a nice background one etc.
ETA: ok... about to select the "foot in mouth" mood....sorry Kat I totally missed your sad news darl  I'll have a look for the thread sweetie...
Oh and Jess... if you would like your avvy updated just let me know ;)
You're so hot, Mel!
thanks guys. It was completely unexpected, adnt even realised i was late... its only an early loss, but doesnt make it any easier to deal with.
Maya - i did mean the weather too... its horrendous!
I have to second that on the weather Kat, it is a great day to feel miserable! Sorry to hear about your, loss, make sure you take care of you.
Thanks for all your care and concern guys, I think Tori is on the mend and the steroids have done their job (she vomitted the first lot up, all over herself and me!) because her cough has lost that terrible bark, and she has stopped struggling to catch her breath between coughing fits. I have hired a steam vapouriser to put in her room tonight to see if that makes a difference, because I think last night all up she had about 5 hours sleep (as did DH & I).
I have to say though I have honestly never seen someone get so sick so quickly before or been ite so frightened listening to anyone else cough, but luckily for me the Dr. surgery I go to is brilliant and saw me straight away so that we could get started on some treatment.
DH & I were supposed to be staying in a hotel on Saturday night and Tori was going to have her first sleep over at mum and dad's but I am very reluctant to go, even though it is a fair way off, I would rathe know she was really well before I left her over night for the first time.
Love your avatar mel :)
saturday is still a while away ali, see how tori goes. antibiotics do wonders.
just had to go take Annika to the drs, she has really really bad conjunctivitis. So bad that her eyes are bloodshot, and when she cries, the tears are redstained. She has antibiotic drops, and they are working pretty well, thank goodness. Yesterday her eyes were just crusty, and i was washing them like i normally do, with salt water. But just didnt seem to do anything this time! But she's on the mend... I really didnt feel like leaving the house, but DP's at work until 8pm (wont get home till nearly 9) adn she needed to see the dr... luckily we got in. Around here its generally a 3 week wait...
Kat I'm so sorry to hear of your loss, it's hard even if you don't know, I've had a loss similar to you just before I fell pg with Cody, sending you big *hugs*. Glad you have the antibiotic drops for Annika.
Ali I know how scarey croup is as Cody and Lockie had it last month and was horrible, so I feel for you. I would wait and see about cancelling Saturday as she might be better by then..
Mel love your new av, you sexy thing. Cody loves going outside as well, I think he likes been outside with the big boys.
Bath great job on Mels av, your one creative lady.
Hello Jess, Maya, Rory, Nic and Tali.
Not much going on here both Wyatt and Cody have the runs, so not much fun. Better go Las Vegas will be on soon.
hugs xoxo
Kat - I didn't notice either, so sorry about your loss. Look after yourself. Having a sick bubba probably doesn't help things either. Hope Annika's eyes clear up soon, poor thing!
Bath - you are so clever, I love the avatar!!! Thank you again for doing such a good job.
Maya - thanks babe, wish I had those boobs and hips LOL!!! Very slinky!!!!
Ali - you must feel so relieved that Tori is getting better. So good that the dr could see you so quickly. See how she is by Saturday before you decide, it would be a shame for you and DH to miss you night away, you deserve it.
Amanda - I find that Marley is much happier when Chelsea is around (even if Chelsea gets annoyed with her "ruining" her games etc), so I can imagine it would be triple the fun at your place!
Better go and get the work day production line going - both kids bags to pack, clothes to be ironed and my bag packed! Catch you all tomorrow. :)
Kat- im so sorry to hear of your loss, i hope your coping ok and liek Maya said there is lots of great support here on BB i hope it helps you somewhat.
Ali- oh i hope poor Tori is recovering, that will be upsetting if you dont get to have your first night off though, hope she is well enough by then that you feel comfortable leaving her.
Maya- Whooo Hoo congratulations on becoming a tupperware demonstrator! dont worry about cutting my lunch lol! no i wont be in melb doing the rounds any time soon! So what distributorship are you with? im sure your going to be a very succesful demonstrator, it can be over whelming in the begining but there is heaps of support, training all the rest of it so you'll be right.
if you struggle with parties i might be able to pass a couple of past hosts i had in Melb details to you to c if they are interested again. I wanted to keep my melb client base but couldnt because i would have to order stock that would get send to me in syd then mail it down and wouldnt be worth the money.
Mel- LOVE your avater, Bath you've outdone yourself again! I think you've pretty much created all the Junie ones now lol! I love the green top too!
had a good day my sister and her 2 DD and my gf with her 20m DD came over for a play, we went for a stroll down the park, it actually got quiet hot, Nixon didnt care that he was the only girl, but he's such a boy, we went out the back to see the puppies and Nixon goes straight into playing in the dirt hole that the husky has dug!
Good afternoon girls... can't sit down for a proper post... too chaotic around here...boys at each other. News though is that my sister may soon be joining BB! She got the 'net connected a few days ago and seems very keen to check out this site that I have been raving on for years to her. Only problem is that she'll read all my secrets! hehe  I'll have to behave myself from now on I guess! But another avatar to work on yay!
Boys fighting over the space directly infront of the TV! Arrrgh... gonna turn ABC kids off and take them outside i think!
Nic - Nixon sounds like he had fun in the dirt! I think they love it when they can get dirty, doesn't bother me, its easy to clean up. I am sure he loves hanging out with the girls LOL! Bath is so clever, I love my new look!
Bath - I am glad chaos reigns in someone elses house over ABC Kids!!! Chelsea is continually telling Marley to get out of the way, then shoving her if she doesn't move. How exciting having your sister around, does she have kids? I'm sure she knows your secrets anyway.
Work has been very quiet today, but I don't mind. Was going to have dinner with a GF tonight but she rang and said she had to take her DH to hospital as they think he has appendicitis. Hope he is OK, poor thing has got 3 young kids so would be a struggle on her own.
Hope everyone is having a great day :)
Mel: my sis has 3 children under 6. A boy and two younger girls.... and no, she doesn't know as much I reveal in here! I'd better avoid the AO section from now on! LOL
My boys are now fighting in the sand pit :( better go deal...
LOL Bath i sometimes wonder if anyone i know (that i dont know they are a member of BB) are on here and read some of my posts and thinkg WTF!
oh i hope your friends DH doesnt have apendicitis Mel ouchy....
Ive given myself a headache from so much coughing... had it for about 4days now, OB gave me some anti biotics i hope it rids me b4 powpow gets here cause the way i feel now i have zero energy and dunno how i'd even think about pushing!
Awww Nic, I had a really bad cough when I was preggers with Verity... it was awful and I worried that it was going to harm her in some way. The last thing you probably feel like doing is drinking lots of water but it will really help your body get over the infection. Hope you get over it soon! Oh and I know my sis is gonna think "WTF" you know when we all share the TMI stuff in here? It's that kind of stuff we don't often share... oh well... it'll be interesting! I think I need to tell her "what you find in BB stays in BB!" LOL I've bagged my mother so much in here i would dread it getting back to her.
Nic - I think the same thing, but I don't think I have found anyone I know - YET! My GF just rang and her DH will be in hospital for the next few hours so she still wants me to come for dinner. They do think he has it and might have to have his operation tonight. With 3 small kids, she can't hang around the hospital. I hope you feel better soon, nothing worse than being sick and pregnant.
Bath - I have never visited the AO section! Might have to check it out LOL!!! Hope you managed to sort out the sand pit squabble!
Sorted it out by picking Niall up and bringing him in for a feed. He will probably BF to sleep now.
Oh and my dentist's assistant nurse found me here in BB... it's a small world girls!
My SIL mentioned a thread on here and on my way home I went red, thinking "has she recognised me? Has she read any posts that I ought to be embarrassed about?"...I still don't know!
So tired today - went to bed after 3am after having faxed my assignment and Oscar got me up at about 9...bugger! Met with MG at the park and that was good, but I had to leave early to leave Oscar with my dad and then off to the osteo. Back here and now I"m tired.Blurgh... bed would be good!
Well that daughter of mine never ceases to amaze me. DH was just in her room putting nappies away, and she wondered in and patted her bed and said 'up', then she asked for her "me-me" (dummy) and put her self off to sleep. That is the first time that she has EVER asked to go to bed, mind you I was just on my way to do it, she just beat me too it.
