cool!
I don't know when or how long yet. Hopefully know a bit more tomorrow.
I'm guessing you'll be flying to Brissy? If you were driving you'd go just past Scotts & through Nambucca.
I'm off to bed too.
Just a reminder on the christmas cards... there are only 3 of us so if anyone else wants to swap cards, pm me!
Night all!!

With all the toys that Jazz had, she decided to go for Dad's keys instead! LOL.
She almost crawled forwards last night. She keeps getting up on her hands and feet then looses balance and falls on her face. If anyone knows any yoga then you'll know what I means when I say she gets into "downward dog" position before she falls on her face.
We're off to a shoe party today for my cousin's birthday...can't wait! Mmmm, shoes!

Danni - MJ loves our keys too, so 'santa' is bringing her a set - Fisher Price do a good one for $13 at target and at the moment there is buy one get the other for 1/2 price, so we managed to get 2 really good toys for $25 which was great.
So what is everyone getting their little ones for christmas?
MJ is getting the keys and a roll along toy and the poptivity table (thanks for the idea prama) from Santa
a tambourine and maraca's set and a kiddies first splash pool from us.
Dont think that we will get her much more TBH, she wont really be inetersted in them, i think that the box's and wrapping paper will be more fun!
What does everyone else plan to do, more pressies from santa or more from mum and dad?
I seem to remember that everything came from Santa when we were young and only one thing from Mum and Dad...
Got santa pics done, will try and up load soon - both here and facebook

hehe poopy loves keys too, need to get him a set.. :D
he's got a top, a pull-along duck, a popup aussie xmas book and a plane mobile thing. his gran and auntie and uncle will get him more stuff im sure.
i think that's enough! haha. after all his b'day is 10 weeks away!
one of my best friends from melb gave him a toy musical box today and he was so much interested in the wrapper!
sj - poopy absolutely loves teh poptivity table, i was amazed it was just $30 at woolies, i think it's almost 60 elsewhere. and it's good training for his leg muscles and better distraction :P
hehe, havent thot about from santa or us.. hmm hv to think abt that.
we've got a little fibre optic tree. i t hink he will like the lights on that!
sj - hope you're feeling better after the last few days' incident. xoxoxo
oh forgot to add - we also got him a bamboo wind chime today, we have one on the back verandah and he enjoys it when i feed him there.
we've got one on either side of where i put him high chair and he was looking up left and right.. i guess that's an early xmas pressie for him!
we are thinking of going to melb in apr, my friend has invited us over for the greek easter.. will be fun.. and i could catch up w you girls!!
skye - let us know when you'll be here, we're pretty much free xmas week, except 22nd and xmas day of course. not sure abt 23rd as it's mil's bday. xox

We haven't got anything for Jazz yet but will only get one thing and wrap up some of her existing toys as well. She's very into paper and just stopped playing with some junk mail which kept her occupied for the past half hour!
I died and went to shoe heaven today. I'm gonna have a shoe party for my birthday in March...can't wait!

Well Jazz is 9 months old today and it's as if she suddenly decided now she's 9 months she'll start crawling forwards! It's not very coordinated and she doesn't get far (yet) but at least it's forwards! She was also trying to pull herself up today. She got up onto her knees and then fell over.
I've started painting a picture for her room. My painting skills are still a bit childish at the moment, but you've gotta start somewhere right?!
-
Jazz learnt a couple of new words today. While she was having a bath she kept saying "baaaaaffffff" and also when she sees herself in the mirror I think she's trying to say her name. She looks at herself and says "JssssJssss"
Still not much of the mum though, tends to say things that end in a or s or she'll just say mmmmm

Hi girls,
I have been so slack lately but with DJ crawling around and very quick too he is keeping me on my toes kehehe always trying to get to the stuff I don't want him to...haha he stands up as well, and moves himself around the lounge, we have a low lounge.... and guess what he finally has a tooth coming through!!! Yipeeeeee he had been so unsettled last week and Friday night was the night, I was soooo tired!!!! but well worth it especially knowing it was for something like a tooth kehehee I was so proud of him :)
Re: christmas cards, I am hopeless haven't even started.....I doubt I will get a chance either, I am too slack this year.... and too busy.....
re: words - DJ has said "dadda" and "mummy" and also says "I" alot but my mum is scottish so he sees her alot... he will probably have a scottish accent if she can help it ;) kehehe
Prama - oh wow it is hard to believe Poopy's birthday is 10 weeks away, I haven't even thought about DJ's in terms of weeks. eeek We are probably doing something low key though on his actual birthday coz we are trying to save up to go to Greece with some friends and we are taking mum with us so she can look after DJ for us while we go out at night :) She is very excited about it. I just hope we can save up enough for the trip. sounds like a great idea re: trip to Melb for greek easter - that will be a great experience.
Bron - sounds like he is going to be spoilt, soooo cute :) I have on layby for DJ a little V-tech phone with lots of lights (he will love it!!), Brainy Baby DVD's (left and right brain) and a little truck. I am probably going to get one more thing for him but not too much because he will be spoilt this year at xmas from the relatives.
SJ - sounds like great presies. I got DJ some maracas the other day at the chemist and he loves them :) I think it also helped his tooth come through so bonus on that one!!! We are only getting DJ a few things as well, the relatives will spoil him and he loves wrapping paper and boxes too.
Danni - ooooh shoes that is just a magic word for women!!! haha I need some comfy shoes to go dancing in when we go out. Hard to find comfy dancing shoes haha
Skye - how is the new place going?
Trina - how are the girls going?
Everyone else, hope you are all well :)
Take care

We got a new kitten today. Jazz loves him! She laughs everytime she sees him! We're using him to teach her about being gentle. I'm worried about leaving the two of them alone though coz he's so tiny and I don't want her to pick him up and shake him like she does her toys. Our other cat doesn't like him much at the moment, but he'll get used to him.

Had to share...so funny & I've witnessed it quite a few times!
-
 skye that was great and yep so true, although i think the swearing fit would have happened sooner at our house!!!
Mum and Dad are back from their holiday today, cant wait to see them.
If MJ is not teething, i dont know whats going on, she is waking up in the night with a different cry and i managed to put her down and she is crying again within 20-30mins ahhhh, i have had a few bad nights... how is poopy going??
Molly Jane LOVES Santa - everytime she sees a picture of him she laughs and smiles :)
I bought some netting butterlys from spotlight, a little DIY kit for decoating them and popped them around her room, she LOVES them and coos at them and makes a fussssh sound at them So cute.
Starting to get a little stressed about the rest of xmas shopping, getting it all done in time... Also i dont think we have managed to get a caravan, so we will be tenting it for 7 days ahhhhh wish me luck!!! got another 2 weeks to prepare!
hope all is well with others

Hi guys.
Another quick one, sorry I'm not around as much.
Going for x ray on my back on Friday. My pelvis was so bad yesterday morning that I could barely walk. So I went to my gp. He thinks it might have something to do with my lower back instead. Thats why its still there.
Tenting it sounds like soooo much fun SJ. Have fun with that!
Hope your having fun Prama.
Hope everyone else is enjoying the festive season! (Crowded shopping centres & no car parks make life sooo great, huh!)
I'll try & get back later.
Bye!
