Jess, hopefully you get some answers today about bub. Big cuddles for Bella. I hope she is feeling much better soon.
Deb, isn't it funny how now you don't care about the colour of the kitchen. Makes a huge difference when you don't have to look at it everyday day hey. Hopefully you will manage to get Fridays off. It would be a shame to totally miss out on playgroup. Even if you miss out on 1 a month all will be good....
Tanya, I hope that you are feeling a little happier now. Like Deb said, It's ok to be sad. Everyone has days/weeks like that. Forgot to ask. Did your mobile phone ever turn up?
Fi, I hope that your taking it easy at netball. How is Jenna doing?
Bec, don't you just looove Hi 5. LOL. Ahh the joys of being a mum. Actually Mark doesn't mind them, he wants to take Noah to see them (read he wants to go and see Charli)
Still haven't found Tehya's bangle ****ing thing. Have racked my brain thinking where it could be. Had a reasonably quiet weekend. Didn't do alot. Would've been my little brothers 30th birthday on Saturday. Sad because he's been gone for 11 years in October and it makes you realised how young he really was when he died.
Haven't got anything planned for today. Just bumming around and not doing alot. Housework is on the agenda. Noah has woken up sick got a cough. Nothing too bad, hopefully it doesn't get worse.
Better go and get kids ready for school.
-
Well we had yet another bad night here last night. I had to get Aaron up again at 3.30am to clean up more vomit. Oh I am so glad that he is ok with that, I was gagging so badly *shudder* I just do not deal well with big kid vomit. Anyways, we are off to the Dr at 11.15 to findout what's going on with my little guy. I'm sure they will say he's ok and there's nothing they can do, but we'll see.
-
Awww Sarah!! I hope it is nothing too serious!! Who's the setting up of YOUR business going :)
Trish... have a look at my post in Gerneral Chatter... :D
I am feeling ok... I just wish I could talk to Wato about it... But that is another Dr. Phil Episode.
Bec, sounds like you need to SLAP Nick!!
Not much going on here... Violet didn't sleep well last night. I got her up at 2am last night and offered her a drink... NUP! Gave her some panadol, jic. She slept for a little while after that then woke again and just sooked (not crying) She doesn't want anything, just won't sleep! So I left her last night... I couldn't stand her it makes me mad that she just cries for nothing! Sounds mean, but it was that or me mad at her.
Tanya
-
Setting up is going very well, thanks for asking Tanya. A sick hubby last week & sick baby this week is making it slow going though. Tanya you sound like me at the moment all this whinging is driving me bonkers. I just wish he would cry or not, just not whiiiiiiinge. Oops spoke too soon he is crying now
-
Sarah, sorry to hear that Zander is still sick. Big kids vomit only gets worse the bigger they get. There are alot of tummy bugs going around at the moment, so maybe thats what he has got... Tehya did a power spew all over me yesterday, just moved my face in time thank God.
Tanya, LOL @ your phone. Nope your bangle isn't in the freezer. I have stripped her bed too jic it was in there... IKWYM about just having to leave Violet, I can't handle the whinging if its just for nothing. Not alot of patience here I'm afraid. I will do all I can to make things better or settle them but if all else fails and it seems like it's for nothing - your on your own kid. Mean mummy here.
-
LOL, Sarah, maybe Zander can read too. I'm with you cry if your going to but don't whinge. My mum used to tell us if we were going to whinge she'd give us something to cry for..... Maybe thats why I'm a cranky Mum... LOL.
-
Tanya - I agree - nothing worse than whinging. Gabby has been doing nothing but whinge and complain for the last couple of days. I'm 99% sure it's teething. Drives ya bonkers!!
Trish - I bet it doesn't feel like your bro has been gone for 11 years. I guess it's something that will always feel really fresh, esp. around his birthday. I don't know what I would do if I ever lost a sibling. Ick. Hope Noah isn't too ill. Ewww @ the spew! Glad you managed to move your face in time.
Sarah - awww poor Zander!! Hope the doctor is able to do something constructive. It's frustrating when you go there only to be told to keep doing what you are doing! Glad Aaron is ok with vomit too... certainly helps when you can get help to clean up the mess. I always thought Neil would be hopeless but he's excellent when it comes to Gabby when she's sick. He just kinda steps up to the plate.
Obviously no work for me today. I am glad tho. The house looks like a bomb has hit it and I'd only done a half-arsed job of putting together some work activities. I need to have several activities ready to cater for any year lever from Prep to Grade 6 in case the teacher hasn't left anything for me to do. I've got plenty of junior stuff and very little for the older kids. Thankfully grade 5 and 6 don't spend much time in their rooms and they always have projects to work on.... so I can fill in time with them. To be honest, I'm not looking forward to the first few days. The kids are reeeeallly gonna test me out (they can smell fear!). Still... with Gabby teething the way she is, it might just be a better alternative!! LOL
Gab's mouth is dribbling like a tap. I've had to change her once already today just from her getting saturated by dribble! She won't stop complaining and all she wants is me to pick her up (very hard when I was trying to prepare dinner in the slow cooker). She keeps squatting too and pointing toward her nether regions like they are sore... but she hasn't got any major nappy rash. Dunno what is going on there!! Oh.. and the snot is coming... grrrrrreat!! :eyesroll:
-
Deb, do you think she might have burny wee? LOL, the only way I could think of writing it. I kow Tehya likes to play with hers as soon as there is no nappy on but the fact that Gab is grabbing or pointing down there and is sooky.... Just a thought for you. Joel was telling me the other day about how he "had to play spin the bottle today" when I asked he said it was because they had a sub... What are the subs teaching. Seriously though, they were obviously playing up on the teacher. Norty boy.
-
LOL @ spin the bottle... hmmm... sounds rather suss. Though I guess the game could have been quite innocent. Oh yeah... kids will play up on emergency teachers no matter what... it's like it's written into the program or something! Sometimes I'll get a really good grade (maybe with 1 or 2 smart-alecs) but it's rare. It's a tough job.... and, if anything happens, the parents don't hesitate to blame you and then the principal has a go at you too... which is hardly fair... but, hey... dems the breaks!
LOL @ the burny wees... probably the reason!
-
On the burny wee thing, keep a watch if Gab seems to be crying when she does a wee.. Hard with a bub in nappy's I know. If she is you will need to take her to the Dr's, maybe a UTI. Little girls get them pretty easy as the urinary tract is shorter than boys. Probably nothing to worry about though. Just being a grizzly guts.
Tehya only had a short sleep and woke crying, usually means she needs more so I left her in there, she was only crying on and off. Went in after 5 minutes and she was standing up having a cry. The noise out the front was ridiculkous, no wonder she was awake. There are these teenage boys - never seen them before, on the road playing basketball, in their school uniforms mind you. Noisy little ****s. Don't they know my baby was trying to sleep :)
-
Well my poor little guy has got an ear infection, no wonder he was whingy. The Dr isn't too fussed about him not eating much, as long as he's hydrated enough which at the moment he is. I bought him some chocolate custard anyways cos I know he can't resist "chot" and at least it's something ;)
Pooe Gabby teething again sounds like she must have a mouth full the way she's teething all the time. So what's in the SC today? I have marinated lamb shanks which smell fantastic *drool*
-
LMAO, just need to share this. Noah has tipped out the toy cart on the loungeroom floor. Anyway there is an Action Man in there. Tehya picks him up and gives him booby. She makes this tongue clicking sound when she wants booby herself and does this when feeding her bubba's. So here she is walking with Action Man up against her chest, clicking madly.
Action Man, come on girl...
-
LOL!! I bet the advertisers never had that position in mind when they were thinking of ways to pitch Action Man to the consumers... hehehe. Maybe that's why he's so tough... cos of all the booby-juice??
Awww poor Zander! At least you have an explanation now, hey Sarah? Mmmm choccy custard.... is he on any meds?
Got porcupine meatballs going.. smells yum.
Mmmmm lamb! I lurrrve lamb. Hope yours turns out well.
Gabby's not doing well at all. I've never seen so much drool come out of her mouth. I gave her a biscuit to eat (stupid me!) and, of course, she bit into it an howled! I've run out of bonjela... it's the only tube I've ever bought so not bad! I'm just waiting for Neil to get home because my patience is wearing thin. She's back in bed because she didn't have a very big sleep earlier. Poor chook. Me thinks some panadol will be needed tonight!
-
Aww Deb, big hugs for Gab and you of course. Maybe Gab needs a dose of Panadol before tonight. But then again she is asleep now. Lucky you. What tooth is she cutting?
Tehya has been cutting ine of her molars for weeks now and the damn thing just won't come through. Her eye teeth are moving down too.
I so miss not having my sc I really feel like a nice casserole or something hearty and can't be stuffed doing it the old way. LOL. I think you get spoilt having a sc. So easy just to put it on in the morn and forget. Hope your dinners are yummy.
-
SCing is great, hey, Trish? I love it too. Don't know what I would do if mine broke. I should have been sneaky and made 2 meals today. I still have my sister's one that I borrowed for mother's day. I haven't had a chance to drop it back over to her.
Teeth are a PITA, hey? Not sure which teeth are coming up for Gab. She has 4 of the back, big teeth through already (top and bottom) so they must be molars coming through. Either way, she's in agony. She's not sleeping... just grizzling... thought she had crashed (darn it!).
-
Umm how bad do I feel I stuck my finger in Eizas mouth...something I try to avoid as she bites hard and found ummmm 4 teeth pmsl. Dont think they really bothered her
Bec
All this SC stuff makes me hungry although I do have a pot of pumkin soup bubbling away yummmmo
-
LOL Bec - gotta love those teeth that just pop up! That happened with a few of Gab's.
Gabby is still in agony. We had a terrible night and all she has done today is cry. I've figured out that her eye teeth are on their way down. The poor chook can't eat anything - even her dummy hurts her. So far all she has had today is milk and a bit of custard. I tried pureed fruit but it just made her scream. I got Mum to come over today (even though I am not working) just because I don't think I could have handled today on my own. Paige is home sick - no good for her, but I'm glad I didn't have to deal with it today. On top of it all, I feel like crap.... lots of nausea (no... I'm not preggo, LOL). I tell ya, when it rains, it pours!
ETA 24 May
Arrrgh! Kill me now! Gab is stilllllll doing nothing but cry and drool. She's barely eaten today and won't even take a bottle. Going to the doctor in 15 minutes just to make sure it isn't something more serious. She's not running a temp. (thus the reason I haven't gone earlier) but I neeeeed to know if an end is in sight! I have Paige tomorrow and I'm not sure how I am going to cope with a sooky Gabby and Miss Paige all at once! Apparently Paige has been teething badly too. She also spent yesterday just crying and crying... arrrgh!
Last night was horrible. Neil was up and down vomitting, I was nauseous and tired and Gabby cried just about every hour. Arrrrrgh!!
Ok... whinge over.... I think this week has been a complete write-off. Thank goodness Neil hasn't started his training yet!!
-
Hey Deb, How is Gabby? Those pesky teeth through yet? What did the Dr say?
How is Neil? I hope you aren't getting any worse!!
Bec, I am glad Eliza's teeth came through with out much trouble!! How is every thing else going??
Not much goign on here... Violet is teething, I can almost see them through the gums... fingers crossed there won't be too much fuss!
Not much to report, going to go down the street soon to look for a birthday prezzie for one of my sisters. Also I am helping Mum look for a wedding dress tomorrow arvo/evening! Different!!
Tanya
-
Hi girls,
Deb I hope its Gabs teeth and nothing else although you and Neil ound like you mihgt be coming down with something. Nothing worse than having to look after your own feeling crappy but 2 guee that would do my head in
Tanya :Ohh how fun wedding dress shopping with mum, I hope Violets teeth emerge like Elizas with not too much drama
Had a crappy week so far a friend lost her partner on Monday and I have been trying to be a good friend to her and her littleys. It puts life in such a different perspective I think I have cried about 4 years of grief out of me.
Better go ...crying child
Have a good day
Bec
-
Oh no for your friend, Bec! What an aweful thing to have to go through. Good on you for being such a great support.
Tanya - have fun shopping!! Hope that Violet's teeth pop through without too much fuss.
Gab has improved today... still verrrry sooky compared to normal but much better than the last few days. The doctor pretty much confirmed that it was just teething. She developed a slight rash on her bum, legs and arms and he reassured me that it wasn't anything serious because pressing on the bumps made them turn white. He also said that a rash could signify that whatever is wrong with her is coming to an end. He said just to keep fluids up to her and give her panadol (the usual). Her ears were slightly red and her temp up just a little but he didn't think it was anything too serious. He said she looked pretty well and that I should worry more if she goes all limp and non-responsive. So crying and whinging is a good thing... urrgh! Paige is here today and has actually distracted Gab which is good. We got a full night's sleep last night so that has helped too. She still won't eat anything remotely firm but had about half a weet-bix and half a tub of fruit puree' - more than she ate yesterday. I haven't looked at her teeth... will check them out later. Hopefully they have almost broken through the skin.
Neil is at work.... just a little sore from being so sick. He didn't really move from the couch yesterday - though he was still a big help. I was able to have a nanna-nap while he cuddled Gabby. They both slept on the couch.
-
Hi Guys,
Just letting you know I am stillalive. I haven't checked in for about 3 days!!! Thankfully didn't miss too many posts.
Sounds like another round of toothies is happening for us all. Isn't it crappy?
I resigned on Tuesday soI'mabout to become a lady of leisure again. Yeah right!!!
Hope you are all well. Perhaps one of these days I'll have moretime to check in!
Fi
-
Hey Fi ....do you get a 12 week us as well
Bec
-
Fi, good to hear from you. Now that you have resigned I'm sure you'll have much more time to get in here :) How is Jenna going? Hope that she's doing well.
Deb, hope that Gab is on the mend and those teeth are giving her a break. I was going to say eye teeth too seeing as how she has cut all of her molars. The next lot of molars are her 2 year olds. Eye teeth are a buggar. Good that Neil is well enough to go to work, hope that your not coming down with it.
Bec, so sorry for you and your friends loss. It can be very exhausting supporting someone through a loss. Grieving yourself but trying to stay strong for them also. Big  for you. Lucky you with Elizas teeth, if only they all happened like that.
Tanya, what a change of events hey, going shopping for your mums wedding dress :) Hope Violets teeth don't give her too much grief. How are all the girls going?
We have had a shocking week too. Sounds like it was the week for it. We even cancelled swimming. Tehya has been having really high temps highest I took at 39.8 degrees. She's been vomiting still too. Panadol doesn't seem to be doing much for her. Took her to the Dr's and she said her left ear was a little red, but not too bad. She gave her a presciption for anti biotics but left it up to me to think if she needed them yet or not. Because Tehya had a runny nose before all this started she also thinks it may be Roseola, the only way to know will be when the fevers stop if she gets a rash or not. Apparently it is going around alot at the moment.
So all in all a great week. Oh yeah, I got the medicine, just thought it was better to get some started just in case her ear was getting worse, she's still tugging at it a bit so.....
She is STILL cutting her back molars, this tooth on the right side is soooooo swollen it's not funny. Just wish the damn thing would cut already.
Fingers crossed for all bubs to be well next week for us.
Hope you all have a great weekend.
-
Hi Again,
I'm back!! Wow - baby and partner must be out of the house ;)
Bec - I am sorry about your friend, and all your tears. I hope you are dishing out lots of cuddly hugs.
Trish - poor Tehya. I hate sick babies. Jenna has a snuffle at the moment, and some really nasty spots on her bum out of the blue, so I'm picking a few more teeth are popping through here.
Other than that, we are fine.
My next scan is 13 weeks (6th June) at hossy. Its only a dating scan, but I geta picture this time, so hopefully all will be well.
Noone elsetorespond to. My god - I have this terrible typing thing happening at the mo - I am forgetting to space all the time, and I can't be bothered going back and fixing it!!!
Seeya - netball today. 2 weeks to goand then I dont getto play anymore :)
-
Fi - woo hoo for resigning but bummer about the netball.
Trish - poor Tehya!! Hope the meds help. Damn teeth hey? Gotta be the worst part about growing up, I reckon.
We seem to be back in the land of the living. Neil is better and Gab is eating (but still sooking about her teeth... they haven't cut through but they are getting closer).
We're doing more to the kitchen today. Well... Neil is. He's putting up the arcatrades (sp?) and swearing the whole time. We'll hopefully get the room painted either today or tomorrow.
-
Geez how quiet is it in here.
Deb, how did the work on the house go over the weekend? Hope that you are all feeling much better.
Fi, yay on getting a picture of that gorgeous bub. Can't wait to have a look. Are you going to find out what it is this time?
Tehya seems to be much better. That rotten molar has cut, now she still has the other side to go though. Stupid teeth. I was looking at her today and spotted a big pussy pimple inside her ear. I gave it a little scratch with my nail, but nothing, then I pushed gently on the outside of her ear and it popped. Yucky, but I bet it feels better now. How does a little baby get a pimple like that, especially there. Made sure I cleaned all of the gunk out of there for her.
We had a pretty quiet weekend. Joel didn't want to play footy on Saturday - which was a shame because we wanted to go and watch. We went up to mums for a couple of hours then came home. Mark was in a crappy mood so he took the 2 little ones into the shopping centre with him. Gave me some peace and quiet, I ended up cooking dinner.
Sunday another day of bumming it at home. No money to do anything. Marks parents came over for a couple of hours in the afternoon and thats about it.
Hope all had a nice weekend and bubs are good and healthy.
-
Ewww @ the pimple, Trish! Deeeelightful. Glad Tehya's teeth are finally coming through. I agree with you... teeth are stupid! I hear you on the no money, no fun!! That's us atm.
Neil and his bro will be putting up the tiles tonight... then we will paint. I personally wanted to paint before doing the tiles but we need Neil's bro to help and tonight was the only time he's available... dems the breaks.
Didn't get any work today. They did call me with some... at 8:30am!! Ummm sorry, but that's not enough notice (considering I should have already been at the school!! Grrr!). I told the agency that I need notice so that I can get my Mum to come and look after Gab. Urrgh, something's gotta give!! So, fingers crossed they call me tonight with some work.... or at least earlier than 8-fricken 30!!
-
Quiet around here is right!!
Poor Tehya with a big pimple like that :( Makes you wonder where these things come from doesn't it. We had a quiet weekend as well.
Zander now has 12 teeth, 4 top & bottom at the front then his 4 molars, so all that are left are his stomach & eye teeth & his eye teeth seem to be pretty close. I'm amazed though at how well he teeths, not a peep!
ETA: Posting at the same time Deb. Sounds like the school has no idea, why ring at 8.30 when you know that the teacher has to get childcare
-
Hi Guys
Ella and I are still in the land of living, but only just. She has been a horror of late and will not go to bed with out screeming for at least 1 hour before she finally drops off. I thinks it's because she was nursed to sleep while on holidays with Nanna and Grandpa. She also climbs alot now. Nanna found her on the third shelf of the book case!!!!
Tooth number 17 is coming and she now has a cold from it....does it ever end!!!!
Gotta go and light the fire so the house will be nice and warm when she wake up.
Ange
-
Wow! Clever Ella!!
Sarah - uno what?? I think you deserve for Zander to teeth quietly!! With all the reflux and sleep issues, it's only fitting that he cruise through it... that's my theory n e way!
-
LOL I like that theory Deb!! Now all we need to do is clear up the last of the sleep issues and we'll be set ;) Should I mention though he has now be in bed for 3hrs!! I hope that doesn't mean he won't sleep tonight!
-
Sarah hopefully he sleeps tonight. Good, but not good, to hear that I'm not the only one with a baby that STILL doesn't sleep. Yay on all of Zanders teeth.
Ange, Tehya is a shocking climber too. Nothing is too high for her. Dare devil she is. YAY on all of Ella's teeth too. She'd be nearly finished now...
Deb, Yeah painting first would've been good, that way you wouldn't get it on the tiles. Still, atleast it's getting done. Stupid agency. Fancy ringing you that late. Fingers crossed for some work tomorrow for you then.
Tehya is in bed too, had been for about an hour or so. About time too. It's coming over dark and quite cold here now. I hate the cold. Can't imagine what it's like in Melbourne.
-
Hiyu girls :)
Thought I had better pop in and say, "hello" :D
Violet has a terribly runny nose and red eyes. Not sure if it because she is teething or not, but it wouldn't surprise me! She talks non stop and has been joining words together... not that anyone else would understand a word she is saying, but I do and her daddy is so proud! (he is such a big softy!)
I can't believe how many teeth all your kids have!! Violet still only has 4!! Geezzzz! She is going to be teething forEVER!
Anyway, I hope you are all well.
Tanya and Co
-
Trish - I thought I might try catching you in here, when you took the EPO did you start at 36 weeks? I`m wanting to take them this time round along with the RLT.
Hope everyone`s well.
Take Care
Dee
-
Tanya, good to hear from you girl. Sorry to hear that Violet hasn't been well. Clever girl putting 2 words together. Tehya has a few happening too. She says "hereare" and "lookatdis" so very cute the way they all run together. Still hasn't sorted out the nod for yes and shake for no. ATM the shake is a yes. LOL. Getting clever though, I asked her yesterday is she had a pooey nappy (she did) and she shook her head and smiled at me.
Cheeky brat.
Dee, I starting taking them abit earlier actually :) I was trying to make sure this bub was out well and truely on time. Also RLT is safe to start drinking now. My midwife told me I could start during my second trimester, so your well and truely there to start.
-
Tanya - wow... maybe Violet will get all her teeth at once?? Sorry to hear she's not well... poor widdle chicken. Yay for the talking too! Clever munchkin!
Trish - awww Tehya sounds so cute!! Cheeky little monkey.
Hi Deeeeeeeee!
Not much happening here. I worked yesterday but looks like it might be the only day of work I'll get unless I get a call later tonight *sigh*. It's not so bad... haven't been feeling 100% anyway. I'll get on their case next week. I need at least 2 days a week to make up for Neil's loss in wage.... twas kind of nice to be a teacher again and not just Gabby's Mum iykwim? I was at my old school yesterday and I got to see some of my old students (and taught a few). It was really nice.... they are amazing little creatures. The staff were happy to see me too - makes the day just that little bit nicer.
Gab was at childcare - her very last day and her longest day so far. I dropped her there at 6:45am and she just sat and stared at me as if to say "Why the hell did you get me up so early?". Glad I don't have to subject her to that every day! When I picked her up I made sure I grabbed some of her artwork from the walls. Will be good in her scrapbook!
-
Well done for getting the artwork Deb. I need to get jenna to do more, but at the momentshe is more interested in chewing the felts than drawing with them! And paint is icky - not mashed spuds, they are apparently wonderful to play with. Pesky child. yay for no more day care!
Tanya - celver Violet, and I hear you ont he teeth. jenna is just about to pop up no 7, but they are all still pretty small.
Dee - hope youa re well :)
Trish - Tehya sounds like a little beastie - liek mine. But she has slept through the last 3 nights (since I dropped her night feed) so I can't complain too loudly. Of course sleeping through for us is 8pm til 5am. Its pure bliss!!!! It does annoy me that shes decided to do this after I drop her feed - how crap does that make me feel??
2 weeks to go at work - I cna't wait!!! And last game of netball tomorrow. It will be quite sad, although I will now start umpiring more, which is the same level of running, just no chance of knocks in the tum. I will really, really miss playing.
Hope everyone else is good!!
-
Woo hoo for only 2 more weeks, Fi!! How exciting. Pity about the netball tho. Great to hear that Jenna has been sleeping so well.... who knows, dropping the feed and the sleeping through may just be a cooincidence?? Hard to tell, hey? LOL @ her chewing the artwork rather than doing much of it. The younger ones like to do that at playgroup. I won't let Gabby go near the playdough... she'll see it as food and goodness knows how many grubby paws have played with it... urrgh!
Mum took Gab to playgroup today because I was called into work. I think Mum had more fun than Gabby, LOL. They certainly had a good day. Gab didn't skip a beat with her which is great. I taught a 3/4 grade at my old school so I actually had a couple of my old students from grade 1/2 in the room! Twas very exciting! We had a great day. Just good to finally start earning some $$... fingers crossed I get a couple of days next week and the week after aswell. Then it's school holidays (which I am kind of looking forward to because it will be just Gabby and I for the first time in a while!).
Hope everyone else has a good weekend. Any major plans? Nothing much planned here. Neil's mate is over from WA so I won't see him. The bugger took off to see him not half an hour before I got home and only called me at 8pm to let me know where he was. I can tell it's going to be a tense weekend. Considering it's his last few days before he starts training for his new job in Hamilton, I am rather peeved. But, hey.... we all know that me putting my foot down doesn't work so why bother!
-
Deb, sounds like Gab has a great old time at daycare. Before too long you will have so many pictures and paintings you won't know what to do with them. OMG I have soooooo much from the boys. Just make sure you date the back of them :) I won't let Teh near the playdough either, she eats the stuff. LOL, only Noah's at home. She loves it when we take Noah to school and pick him up, I always hang an extra 10 minutes or so so she can have a play around. Damn at Neil disappearing on you, you'd think he'd stay at home to spend his weekend with you girls before the training starts.
Fi, good to hear from you girl. Congrats on the big work countdown, soon you will be free woman again. Hey 3 nights sleep through are better than none, little minx only doing it now you've stopped that feed. If I even try to refuse Teh her nighttime feeds she kicks up one hell of a stink. I try and put her dummy in and she pulls it out and throws it then starts smacking her lips (she does this when she wants something to eat or booby) we are still up atleast 3 times a night no matter what time she goes down I can pretty much set the clock with her waking at 1am for her first feed. Generally we are up by 7am with her. Forgot to say I love your new ticker :)
Bloody freezing here tonight. I went to the raffles with mum and my little brother and his gf tonight, won a meat tray but nothing spectacular. Have footy with Joel in the morning, his game is about an hour away, very cold there too. Mark ahs planned a day out with his parents and his brothers children on Sunday but that too is out closer to the mountains and it's outdoors too. It's supposed to be cold and raining all weekend. Fingers crossed it is on Sunday anyway ;)
Hope all have a great weekend. Keep warm.
ETA. WOOHOO. I got Robbie tickets !!!! :confetti:
-
I am still alive!!
I hear ya on the climbing Ange! Zander loves to climb on anything & he is almost tall enough to get on the lounge by himself now.
LOL at noone understanding what Violet is talking about Tanya, IKWYM. Zander will say things & I just understand while people are like HUH?? How is miss Violet anyway teeth out yet? I must say that while Zander does have teeth, he still is a baldy so Violet's doing better in the regar ;)
Good thinking on grabbing Gab's artworks on her last day Deb, some things you just gotta keep :) Good to hear that you're getting some work, hopefully it will pick up a bit soon though. I hope Neil isn't too norti this weekend & you get to see him a bit.
Yay at resigning Fi, can't remember if I said so last week! Bummer about not being able to play netball anymore, but hey it's worth it!
IKWYM about the cold Trish, it's bad hey!! Spare a thought for me on Saturday mornings having to go out in it at 6am to go to work!! We're going to a trivia night tonight, which I am dreading cos of the cold but Zander will be nice & warm here with Granma :)
Not alot happening here. Zander has started doing some really cute things every day & I'm loving it. Yesterday I was hanging washing on the line before work & he was playing with his beach toys (buckets, spades etc). No big deal, he was happy then I looked at one of the buckets & realised it had water in it!! He was wet from head to toe & loving it. Silly mummy for not checking hey!
