Did ya's miss meeeeeee??? lol. Comp is fixed.
Karina, Oskar decides who he wants to have a bath with and that type of thing. He used to ALWAYS have a bath with Andy and now it seems to be less and less and more with me. Kind of a bummer cos that was my ME time...lol. He will drag me by the hand and wave bye to Andy.
Cass, I had awful m/s with this one.... lucky it seems to have gone now!
Karina, we're ok. We're going to have a tree chopped down though, it lost huge branches and it's too close to the house and we were already contemplating it, but the storm made the decision for us!
Scan tomorrow...WOOHOO!! We're not finding out gender, but I would love pink and part of me sometimes wonders if we should find out....lol.... if they said pink though I'd probably go crazy shopping and we have friends who were told pink and have 2 wks before found out it was blue and they have a whole pink room and now have 2 boys...lol.
Oskar has hand foot and mouth virus at the moment...but only 1 spot...lol. The only reason I took him to the doc about ONE spot on the heel of his hand was because one of his little friends had been in contact with someone who had it otherwise I would never have paid much attention to it at all and certainly not taken him to the doc. He's all good though and should be right as rain to play with his friends again by Friday. Yay for me...lol.
-
Cass Did your house get much damage to it? What does the spot look like? Glad to hear Oskar is all ok now to play with his friends.. its sad when they miss out on their playtime with their buddies. We missed playgroup last week cause i went in for day surgery and I felt so bad that Kaiden had to miss out on his day with his friends.
Good luck with scan tomorrow, v exciting indeed. DH and I have decided to find out what we were having for our next one. Like you if we were told it was a girl then I would be straight to the shops and would go crazy, the amount of gorgeous girls clothing out is unbelievable. I would keep all receipts though just in case like your friend it turned out to be a boy.
When I went shopping on Friday with my mum we went into Target (massive store) and Kaiden wasnt in his pram as we gave him a little walking time, in that little walking time he disappeared. I remained calm (to my surprise) however my mum well she went red like a beetroot, she was screaming his name and running around yelling at the ladies. After about 3 minutes but felt like an hour a lady spotted him in the fitting room (to which i had been in but didnt see him) only a metre from where we were. He had shut the door and was looking at himself in the mirror and the lady could see his feet.. Of course after that he went straight back into the pram. He is normally good when he is out of the pram he holds on to it, but this time he just took off. The thing for us was that Mum and I both had our eyes on him and then all of a sudden he was gone.. Has anyone had this happen yet??? I got home told DH and he was like you have to keep your eyes on him.. I did I said, but I was sort of made to feel like a bad mother.. :(
-
Hi all quick post! Anyone see my message, I'm going to be a mummy again! To 2 gorgeous golden retriver pups! So excited...
Sonia - hi againand welcome back. Good to hear Kaiden is doing well. :o at him wandering omg off in the shops. I think everyone has one of those moments with kids. I haven't lost Ari yet but DS does runners all the time - I am over the panic now. We got Ari one of those backpacks with a lead - orrible I know but :oshe is just so busy and now wants to walk with us - makes it tricky with two. I prefer to keep her in my ergo so I don't have to worry about her.
Ozzy hope the scan went well. I still have those little girls things I need to send to you! On my to do list!
Cass - hope the MS eases up - must be a boy!
Karina - oh dear, poor nana! It is kind of funny though :-) It's funny how they get tese things in there heads
Well update on Ari. After the inumerable cases of broncitus and the recent bout of pneumonia they now believe she has asthma which is why she has been so susceptable to chest infections. This comes after another round of antibiotics and her coughing so much she has been vomitting at least 1-2 times a day! On the plus side though the dr was so impressed by Ari at the appointment, he said that she was very bright for her age with her understanding of her environment and her language skills. Mum is very proud :-)
-
PMSL Sarah.... I thought that you were pg but was also thinking.. THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE! @ me. OMG though, I LOVE golden retrievers!!! They are beautiful, beautiful dogs. Re: the clothes, when you're ready hun, still have 4 1/2 months here....lol. You coming down before then??
Sonia, the spot looked like a red bite with a white centre if that makes sense... although in less than 8 hours it had changed from white to clear so kinda like a pimple type of thing. He only got the one spot total! Our house was ok in the storm thank goodness!
Had the scan today.... got to see it in 4D!! How exciting was that.... amazing the pics...it's just a whole new world. I've got the pics on the website, just go to Oskar's name and click and then you'll be there! Measuring 5 days ahead of my EDD so who knows really.
Oskar has finally decided he knows how to say bye and now constantly tells you...bye, bye, bye, bye...lol. That and wee wee are his faves I reckon. He doesn't say heaps but does lots of his little signs still and I still have to translate a lot for Andy. He knows STACKS of animal noises... weird ones too like, donkey, guinea pig, turkey, crocodile etc etc... it's fun going through them all though and he does them with a little grin.
Cass, hope your m/s is getting better hun.
-
Hey girls!
Hey sonia - glad to here from you hearing that everythin is okay... Izzy hasn't done it out in public yet... I'm to scared to let her out of her pram lol! But she does go hiding alot at home... But its a game to her and as your calling out Izzabella shes laughing!
Sarah - I though the same thing that u were UTD... Congrats hun hehe... Oh not good about ari... But asthma can be controlled, all three kids are astmatic, but luckily not servere...
Cass - glad to here your back, and your house wasnt damaged in the storm! those storms have been crazy! gald your ultrasound went well will go have a look at the pictures soon! oskar sounds so cute!
Thanks everyone but the morning sickness is just getting worst and lasting most days all day! I feel horrible even to the point that i have just sat on the couch crying because i feel that bad! And i have to get up and get ready for work in half an hour. Can anyone fast forward the morning sickness stage for me...
Izzy is getting to know alot of words, she talks to my mum alot on the phone! which is very cute and mum can understand alot of what she is saying! its awesome! She also knows where her body parts are. and is getting really into the shoes she loves them except for her own~!
Anyway im going to rest for 20mins before i have to get up...
take care... Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
-
Sarah, I meant to say that it's such a bummer they think Ari has asthma! Andy had it as a kid but grew out of it. My friend's little boy who is 3 weeks younger than Oskar, they are pretty sure he has it... his dad does and he was the same as Ari with chest infects etc. Luckily though it is one of those things which can be managed fairly effectively these days. Still not nice for you all to have to deal with though.
Cass... oh hun I feel for you so much!! I was the same this time with m/s. I would sit on the floor in the kitchen in front of the sink just crying and then calling Andy to see what time he would be coming home from work. I did end up going to the doc on my worst day - couldn't even keep water down - and he gave me an injection of maxolon which really seemed to help me and he also gave me a prescription for the tabs but I found I could manage without them after the injection anyway. It does something to the way your brain interprets it or something??? Anyway, I also used my seabands and made sure I had toast asap after getting up... unfortunately that had to wait until after Oskar's brekky...lol. to you and I seriously hope you feel better honey. At least there's one silver lining, shows all is going great guns in there!!
-
well my fur babies are here and the house has finally settled to sleep. It really is like having newborns as they have to go out to pee every couple of hours :-) Now i understand why people with twins wake the other up so they all feed together and play together, otherwise your up forever!
Yes apparently the pups are to help me get over my cluckiness. there are soooo many pg people around...:-( I want to be pg too... well until I read Cass post and then the whole ms thing came back to me - man I don't ever want to go back there.
Cass - you poor thing, have been there twice and it's not pretty. I second the sea sickness bands Ozzy is talking about they dulled the worst of the nausea. Gingerbeer is good - settles your stomach but also tastes the same coming back up as it went down which you will appreciate I'm sure! Hey when your going to be sick all day anyway it might as well taste less unplesant. Peppermint tea and peppermint/spearmint life savers, gingernut biscuits with real ginger pieces, water crackers, plain potato chips, coke? all good ideas, I found they worked at varying degrees across the course of my ms journey. Drink as much water as you can the night before it dilutes the concentration of hormones in your system in the morning. (apparently - did help i have to admit - i could actally get downstairs, boil the jug and make a cuppa before having to throw up :-) funnily enought the only thing that would settle my stomach with Xander was a mars bar - you can imagine how huge I got after the ms left but the mars bars remained and with ari it was potato chips.
On the asthma front can I just say THANK YOU! to whoever found the drug ventolin! Ari's coughing fits have cleared after what 2 days? I think I've given her maybe 4 goes and it has settled right down, this after 11 days on antibiotics - grrrr wish the 1st dr had figured this out.
better go sleep before the babies are up again :-)
-
Sarah: So glad that Ari is doing well with ventolin. how beautiufl your puppies dogs must be, they are such beautiful dogs so kind, loving, and gentle. have fun, your house must just be manic with the additions. have you named the pups?
Cass: you poor thing with the morning sickness. :hugs: for you.. make sure you try all of sarah's suggestions and see if they work.
Ozzie: Oskar must look so funny when he is saying all of his animal noises.. they are just precious arent they. Must get that on video..
Me: I am on day 7 DPO and will await AF before doing the HPG.. so we will see what happens. Will let you know on Boxing day if I am PG or not...
-
Girls.. i am so excited. Kaiden did his first wee wee in his potty tonight!!!! I had to take a photo, just so proud of him. he was also v proud of himself.
-
Sonia, YAY for Kaiden!!! What a clever cookie.
-
Hi Girls:
K hasnt done a pee or poo since lol. Was so exciting though.
I hope all is well and everyone is getting on top of their Xmas shopping.
I have two more pressies to go and that is it I am done. We are only buying for kids this year so that makes it a lot easier.
Kaiden has starting singing The First Noel Christmas Carol, we put on carols CD everynight when he goes to bed, its a beautiful CD with the slow soft songs not the ones like jingle bells which would excite him. He sings Noel. Noel Noel.. lol.. he is so funny. He is talking so much, it just amazes DH and I at our much these kids are able to do and understand at such a young age.
AFM: I have 15 days to wait before being able to do a PG test. .. ahhh its killing me waiting to find out if I am PG or not..
-
Sonia, YES I am so amazed at how much Claire can understand too. She understands so much and she can say quite a few things too. She said "what that?" the other when DH was showing her something. So cute! How cute that Kaiden sings! Claire dances. She loves Indian music - they listen to indian music at daycare.
We've done pretty much all our Christmas shopping. We got most stuff online so we wouldnt have to step foot in a ridiculously crowded shopping centre. I hate shopping centres! We actually looking at getting a new car though, we've been saving for it. Its going to be very cool to not have a crappy car anymore!
Claire, poor little munchkin, managed to get thrush. Poor thing had this horrendous nappy rash from it and it was so gross. I had to take her to the GP to find out what it was but within a day of starting to use the special cream for it, it was almost gone. But i felt so bad that the rash got so awful! It much have been so itchy and painful.
-
Hey all, how is everyone?
I'm having another bad couple of days with morning sickness... I've tried everything except the seaband (just read your post suggesting it again cass) i'm sitting here in tears again, becuase i can hardly move, my stomach feels so horrible, and i feel just useless - I couldn't go to work last night because i was too sick, Tim is doing most of the household chores, becuase its worst when i move, and izzy has been an angel just playing in the loungeroom and comming up to me asking "u k mum?" " me luv u" "oh orry" it's so cute... But i just really feel useless...
I have the doctors today hoping he has some magical cure - if not i'll try the sea bands...
Hope everyone else is well...
-
Cassie: I hope it gets better soon for you, your lucky your DH is so good for you and the kids are good to. :hugs:
Karina, I know what you mean about nappy rash, Kaiden gets it really bad, its not thrush for him but a fungal infections so blisters up I use Daktozin for it and within a day its cleared thank god. thepoor little munchkins and what they go through.
Not PG, period arrived today.. Oh well can have a few drinks and prawns over Christmas.. lol. Will be TTC after this period so lets hope Januarys our month!!
-
Hey girls,
I went to the doctor, He sent my referral off to the hospital... Blood pressure was 96/54, weight was 48kg (I've lost weight due to being sick) he's not sure about the whole risk factor with uterus i'll have to ask my ob about that, and he's put me on maxillion tablets for the nausea and vomiting, they work which is a start but only for 3-4 hours, and make me quite tired! But They WORK!!!
except quite funny yesterday, i had to go down the road to get sticky tape, go to the kindy, and send presents off, i locked up all the house and went out to the car (izzy walking behind) and started dry reaching everywhere so had to run picck up izzy unlock the house and run into the tiolet to throw up! i then had a drink and thought that i was okay, and will try again, did the same think locked up went to unlock the car and started dryreaching again! ! I eventually got out of the house 30mins later... maybe i should stay home today lol!
Izzy is getting bigger and more independent every day, she loves the christmas tree, and has spotted that we have put christmas presents under it, shes going look pretty pretty look mum! slowly getting closer so she can touch lol! She loves Gecko's and snails just loves sitting there watching them or looking at there pictures in her books...
And a very sad moment for mummy she starts kindy next year! At the end of January, 1day a week... the kindy said i can call up as many times i like and even stay for a few hours if i don't feel comfortable leaving her... which I know she'll be fine but just so worrying!!! And she has to go becuase i have uni, one of my classes is only doing a lecture on tuesdays at 8am and tim works that day and has the wednesday off for me to go to my other classes...
Oh no better go, izzy has left me a stinker in her pants, and is telling me poo mum poo mum! Hehe i dont need to be told i can smell!
-
Oh no Cass you poor thing sounds like you have to carry a paper bag with you everywhere. i want to put Kaiden into kindy next year for half a day its called occasional care here in perht not sure if its the same thing over there. I want him to get used to not having me around, as when i am working he is with my mum and DH mum the other day then at playgroup i am there so he is not used to me leaving. When i used to take him to the creche at the gym he would scream and scream i felt so bad that i stopped taking him there he just didnt like it. but now he is older i think i will give it another go, he has to get used to not have me around al lthe time especially when he does start kindy, preschool etc. its not that far away, these years are flying by.
:hello: to everyone
Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to you all..
-
Hey its getting that way sonia... or just not moving sounds heaps better...
We took izzy and the boys to get the christmas photos... Will post it when i get it - Izzy SCREAMED~ she is not to fond of santa at all!
Wishing everyone a merry christmas and a safe happy new year
-
I'm going top put a photo up soon... ill have the link in my sig for you girls to have a look at izzy lovely santa photo! hehe its hilarious!
How'd everyones christmas go... Izzy was so excited this year, and she new exactly what to do when she get her presents... Izzy got spoilt rotten ;) And loves her new doll and pram that santa brought!
-
Cass - sorry to hear your having a hard time with ms> You can get bags from the hospital (maybe a pharmacy too) I called them vomit bags but they have a much more discrete name emphesis bags or something. Anyway, they fold up quite nicely for storing in the car, handbag etc and when used you just twist and tuck and they seal until you can dispose of them I used them A LOT! Considering I was still hurling on my due date - blah. Anyway I'm sure you will be feeling better soon, how many weeks til the magic number?
Wishing everyone a Merry Xmas! Any of you on Facebook? We put all our photos on there just search for sarah@naturalparent.com.au and you will find us.
Sonia all the best for ttc in the new year
getting late
-
Cassie how funny is that photo of Izzy with Santa! I laughed when I saw it. She really didnt like him by the looks of it.. but the boys dont seem too worried though.
Very exciting - my SIL is in labour and has been since about 5am. So, hopefully there will be a new baby boy today sometime. Other SIL is due in 3-4 weeks. So, Claire is getting two new cousins very shortly, so she'll have 6 cousins on that side of the family. She wont be the baby cousin any more.
I'm taking a day off work today. I work in the city and I suspect its going to get a bit stupid early on in the city with everyone coming in for NYE celebrations and all. Also, they close off half the roads and the harbour, so its tricky for the buses and ferries. So I decided to just bypass all that and spend the day at home with Claire and DH. Its a lvoely day - I want to take Claire swimming - just have to wait for her to wake up!
Oh and more very exciting news. I bought a new car a couple weeks ago. We picked it up just before Christmas. I've been saving for it so I'm really excited to finally have it. We got a good deal too because they offered no on road costs (saved almost $4000) and we traded in our old car. Claire always points at it and says "car" and she has already vomited in it twice so its quickly losing the new car smell.
Claire is really growing up so fast. She;s not a baby anymore, she is a little girl. She sits at her table on her little chair, and eats her dinner with a fork. Its so cute! She's also using her toilet frequently . Its just a little potty, but we call it a toilet because I dont like the sound of "potty". She goes into the bathroom and starts taking off her pants and nappy and then she sits down, does her business, and then stands up and has a look at what she has done. She gets so excited when she has done something and she points at it and says "poo" or "weewee" and then claps. She's getting so clever!
Hope everyone is well and has a lovely new years.
-
Hey,
Sarah - I added you on facebook :) There is only 1week and 6days (from today) before i reach 12 weeks... But when i had the ultrasound on monday he was already the size of a 10week old (which goes by my OV dates)
having another ultrasound in 2-3weeks can't wait to see him again... (or her lol)
Karina - Clair just sounds soooo cute! Izzy still not using the potty its scary! lol! But i'm with you so amazed how fast they are growing up... izzy is talking so much, can name so many options count to three :) And has the worst temper! lol!
I have to get off here soon, got so much to do... Gotta go shopping (bla) i hate shopping haha! and then i have to go to work... Which i am really worried - sounds silly i know but the last time i was there was when i started bleeding... And freaking out if what happens if it starts again.. :(
Anyways ... I'm being very selfish lately and talking about me all the time... Sorry! Hehe...
-
Hey All!!!
Its been a while, but I've had computer issues, and haven't managed to get on here for ages!
I have read back over a couple of the pages, and am glad to see that everyone is good, and that all the kiddies are growing well...
Emy is changing every day - it's crazy! We stay at mum's house every monday and tuesday, and then when DH sees her again on wednesday, he reckons that she has grown in those 2 days. She is talking heaps, and driving my mum crazy coz she never shuts up, and mum just wants a little bit of silence!! She can kinda count, but most of the time it goes 1-2-4-5-9-1. She sings baa baa black sheep by going - baa baa baa baa to the tune. Does the same with row row row your boat. Sooooooo cute!!
And yesterday she did her first wee on the potty!! I'm sooo proud of her! She has been watching her cousin using the potty over summer, and has been wanting to do the same, and has sat on it a bit, but yesterday was the first time she actually did anything. And then she stood up, pointed at it and said "mess". It was pretty funny, but we cheered her her and gave her big cuddles and told her she had done a wee wee. What a little smarty pants! Mind you, she then wet herself twice later in the afternoon, but we were expecting it to be a rather wet process, so not a big whoop.
Cassie - congrats again on being pregnant. I must admit, I'm a little bit jealous! But we aren't ready to try again yet, but it'll happen one day!
That's all about me. We have been very boring around here...
Love to all!
xxooxx
-
Hello everyone and Happy New Year!! I apologise that I haven't been around but just don't get much time to sit on the computer anymore.
Congratulations Cass...sorry you are having terrible morning sickness, hopefully it will pass soon and you can just enjoy being pregnant.
Welcome back Sonia..glad all is well.
From what i've read it sounds like everyone has had a great christmas and everyone's kids are growing up very quickly.
As for us, Grace is just unbelievable...she blows my mind at how clever she is. Just need to work on this toilet training thing and we're all good! As for me, now 16 and a half weeks pregnant. luckily everything has been going great. Wasn't very sick with Grace and this pregnancy has been even better! Also probably an element of being distracted as Grace doesn't give much rest time at all. Still can't really tell I am pregnant...depends on the clothes I wear. I am sort of relieved about this cause a lot of my friends popped out so much quicker with their seconds. I am starting to feel very soft movement but generally on a daily basis which is such a relief..I would never wish to be sick but when you don't feel anything it is sometimes hard to believe that you really are pregnant iykwim. Anwyway, have next ultra sound at end of january and can't wait. We are undecided whether to find out gender or not....we are going to get them to write it down like last time and then we are going to go out for dinner etc and decide whether to open it...if we don't then it will get put away for the rest of the pregnancy, That's what we did with Grace. Worried about finding out as can't not know once you do.if that makes sense.. i just loved the surprise when grace was born..but also would love to know too. too hard a decision really ! lol. Have let work know and will go onto light duties at 27 weeks and then finish up at 35 weeks..have some special time with Grace before this baby comes.
Anyway, that's us in a nut shell. We have a few interstate trips planned in February..making the most of Grace being able to fly for free until she turns 2 and not having a baby yet..Grace and I off to Sydney in feb to visit a good friend. Then we are all off to sunshine coast for a sunnie holiday (god knows we need some consistant warm weather..not this crap we have been getting in melbourne!. Then off to Adelaide a few weeks after that. busy busy but fun!
Take care everyone and will be in touch soon.

Hi All
Cass how you feeling?
Rachel: congrats on being pregnant. great that you have no morning sickness.
Ali: Yay for Emy doing her first wee.. it is exciting isnt it. who would have thought we would be so excited over some wee....
Hi to everyone ..
Dont have much time left a work so thought i would pop on and give an update:
I am 5 weeks pregnant and very excited that baby #2 is on its way. I have no morning sickness as yet, so lets hope its a good pregnancy like the one with Kaiden. We are off on a little holiday on Wednesday at Rottnest Island, cant wait to enjoy a few days with DH & Kaiden. Kaiden is going well, he got attacked by mozzies the other night so he was so itchy and sore and now has scabs on his legs and arms, poor baby. I drowned him in calamine lotion and paw paw cream so he wouldnt feel them so muh but didnt help really, he was still itchy. He is talking heaps, hasnt done another wee yet in his toilet i have tried but he just keeps telling me when its too late and he has already weed in his jocks.. lol.. ery funny indeed. I do want him toilet trained before next bubs is born. He loves his swimming classes, very confident in the water.
Well i better go, finishing work now and off to go home cook dinner bath kaiden and pack for holiday.. ciao ciao girls
love to all :grouphug:
-
Hy Son CONGRATS!!! Thats awesome news :)
-
Rachel, I can't believe you're that far along already!! Wow!!
Ali, Emy sounds way too cute...hehe.
Son....what fab news too! So that makes 4 of us.
Cassie, how's the m/s going?? Better now I hope. Dreadful business... I had it so much worse this time than any before.
Oskar is growing up so fast. He's been a little monster the past week though and seriously being so difficult to put to bed at night that it's been as late as 11pm before he's gone to sleep! This is doing my head in because I'm getting no wind down "me" time *boohoo* lol. He's popping out with new words and shocking me all the time. I love how he tries to pronounce some things but it can be hard to decipher at times..lol. He did his FIRST potty wee this afternoon . Was crying wee wee until I took his nappy back off and he ran around then sat on the potty and did a HUGE wee. I only have 10/11 wks to go and then we will have another bub. I'm a bit concerned about leaving Oskar to sleep somewhere especially considering the problems we've been having lately. This morning he woke at 4:30am and decided he wanted to play, by 5 I took him to Andy (he was in the spare room) and said here, I've not slept in the last 2 hours do whatever you want...lol. Oskar finally went back to sleep at 7:30am!! He's also never stayed with anyone before. I am having some lovely nerve pains etc with this bub too, get numb down the side of my left leg and omg this morning I was sooooooo breathless that it took hours before bub moved to a spot that was less distressing to me. It's making me glad this is the last..lol.
Anyway, sorry for being MIA for so long. I forget to check in here which is VERY bad!! Glad to hear everyone doing so well :)
-
Hey everyone...
Hows is everyone going?
Hows all the pregnant ladies?
Cass No more morning sickness now :) Sorry oskar is being a little naughty hopefully it is just a phase and will pass very soon!
I'm in the eating phase! Eating everything in site!!! I LOVE FOOD! hehe! 16week today, and go for my ultrasoun in 4 weeks! beany is moving around so much, i love the feeling...
Izzy is just growing so much, she goes to kindy one day a week now and loves it, she is in a big bed now and absolutly loves it, will go to sleep within 2mins every nap time and bed time (sorry cass properly something you don't wanna here hehe)... Shes been going to the toilet alot lately! will come up to one of us and say pooo peee pooo pee and we'd take her nappy off and she'll run to the toilet and do her business!
My other two boys are doing great, Noah (middle child) is loving his new kindy but has been quite a bit naughty with them at the start he can't handle change and unless he has the same carer every day he will play up a bit... But hes doing well, is alot better at him, i'm learning that choosing my battles is very good advice!
Locky is MR ATTITUDE at home, has just got the grumpy pants on lately if he doesnt get his way (which hes not with this attitude) But at school he is a completly different child (of course) They are changing his classes to a grade 1/2 class because he is a very smart child and they think that he would do great being able to do grade 2 work if he wants to (And hes only been back a week when they wanted to change his class)
hope everyone is doing well :) take care
-
Cass, yay for no m/s!! It's just the best when that passes.
We just drastically changed Oskar's sleeping/bed routine and *touch wood* so far it's been working. I brought being put into bed forward an hour - yep in one hit! He now 9 times out of 10 even in the day just lays down and will go to sleep. At night he gets milk and some books on his lounge then it's a choice out of 2 or 3 stuffed animals to take to bed and into bed he goes....he makes mummy and daddy lay down too but usually we can leave within around 10 mins. I hope I haven't jinxed it all now...lol. Today could be different though as his day sleep was about an hour to and hour and a half late as we were out. He says wee wee and runs to the toilet but if you take his nappy off half the time he cries cos he wants it on and the other half he runs off and doesn't want the toilet at all.
I've been having belly pains a bit lately, apparently I have some muscle separation and was given the awful and very painful stocking type thing to wear. I don't wear it, I went and bought a more comfy one, prob not as tight though and someone I know also lent me a maternity belt which velcroes together so I wear both on days I'm walking/standing a lot. Only 9 wks to go now... yep, getting a little on the nervous side now...lol.
Hope everyone's doing well!!! Sarah, how are you doing with all the rain up your way hun??
-
Hello March Bubba, wow onto our second year already! I always love this time of year when you start seeing the March bellybuddies popping up lots on the new posts and I remember how much we were all posting this time 2yrs ago and goodness me - most of you are back there again :-) Hope all of your pregnancies are going well. Is it only KArina and me not UTD ? Ha the voices of reason (just jking)
Ari is gorgeous. There is not a day that goes by that doesn't have us completely mesmorised. She talks in small sentences now although often we can't quite make all of it out and it is a bit of a guessing game to work out what she is on about. Looking forward to this year #3, lots of great things to watch her do and grow.

lol Sarah there definately are a few pregnant mummies in our little group. As much as I would like to be pregnant again, I just dont think I'm ready for it just yet. I'm a crap enough mum with just one child, I'd be horrible with two!
Claire is getting so cheeky. She's being wierd with her food at the moment though and she only wants to eat cheese. I want her to eat other things, not just cheese! I dont know why she just wants cheese all the time. The little monkey can open the fridge too, but she cant reach the cheese. I also cant get over how clever she is. She's getting so good at using words and she can almost say sentences. DH has even taught her how to say please! So she says "teese pease" (cheese please) and "driii pease" (drink please). So cute!
Claire is having a birthday party soon and I sent a bunch of invitations out, but of the few people who have bothered to take the two seconds its takes to respond to the invitations, most of them have said they cannot come. I'm so disappointed because I actually wanted people to come to her party. Its on next weekend, so maybe theyre just going to respond at the last minute, which is also rather annoying!
Anyway, I've been so ill all week and need to have a sleep! Hope everyone is well.
-
Sarah - I am not yet pregnant either. Though I can't wait till I am! Hopefully next year will be the right time for us.
Emy is talking A LOT!!! She says "cold water please", well in Emy-ese anyway - but still very noticeable what exactly she wants. Or "Daddy juice" - coz she knows I won't give it to her very often. Then this morning, we were in the car, and she started saying "sore toe" (there is a little sore on her toe), and I told her to kiss it better, so she did then said "sore toe kiss better". It was pretty cute. Oh, and we have been teaching her to say please, and thank-you very much. Her version comes out "thank-you moch". Just adorable!
She knows most of her colours, but is adamant that black is called white. She can count to six. Then misses seven and eight, and says nine, TWO! Funniest counting ever!
Karina - don't you hate when people don't reply, or can't come for any reason. I'd come and celebrate with you, if we were in Sydney! Hope you have a good party for her anyway - are you havingg a theme? I don't know what to do for Emy's...
-
Cass -pleased your m/s has eased up - hope the scan goes well are you finding out the sex?
Ozzy - Ouch on the seperated stomach - that must hurt! Hope all goes well for the last few weeks!
Rachel - wow time has flown. Hope everything is going well.
Karina - you are a great mum to Claire! I was the same, we did not want to have another at all after DS was born, it took us 4 yrs to consider it :-)
Ali - Emy sounds soo cute. Don't you love there pleases. Ari only says please without being prompted when asking for boobie :-)
-
Ali, nah no theme, I'm far too busy/lazy for that (plus I cant see my husband being any help at all in that department). I'd totally invite you all but I think its just me who is in Sydney! Fark I hate living in Sydney sometimes, everyone always has something "better" to do. Emy sounds gorgeous! How clever that she can count! I'm trying to teach Claire and at the moment she can say "one, three"...well really its more like "un, treeee" lol, so really she could be talking about the trees in the backyard for all I know! But I love hearing say words, so cute. How cute that Emy says thankyou!
Sarah, so are you breastfeeding Ari still? (I dont mean that in a bad way, just curious). Claire stopped a couple of months ago and I was so sad when she stopped :( but I did start giving her cows milk so she must have liked it better because she got more from her cup than from my booby. I would LOVE another baby, i really would. Its a case of my heart says yes, but my brain says no! Combination of needing a bigger place to live to support 2 kids (super-tiny 2 bedroom unit just wont cut it!), and DH being on contract with work for the next 2 years so we cant move out of Sydney, and its too expensive to get a bigger place in Sydney on one salary. If I had oodles of cash for a bigger place I think we'd have another baby much sooner!
Oh cant remember if I mentioned it but I finally resigned from my horrible job. I feel so happy. I am still doing uni full time, which is 2.5 days a week, but it still means I get to spend more time with Claire now! I'm so glad to be out of the job though. But anyway, I decided to change uni this year as the previous one was incredibly disorganised (like not printing enough exams to go around for everyone, locking people out of the exam venue for no proper reason, not giving us exam timetables until like 2 days before the exam etc) and now I'm at a really good reputable uni that has an awesome course and always wins awards and stuff, so I'm really excited about that!
umm anyway, thats all!
-
Karina 0 yes still feeding Ari, usually only at night or early in the morning, sometimes she will go a day without but she does always ask. DH is funny about extended BF and wants us to wean at 2 but as I don't let her feed during the day anymore, I doubt he would even noticed if we kept going a little longer - she really loves BF and she is my last baby :(
Good on you for quitting the crappy job and good luck with Uni - is it nursing you're doing?
-
Oh they all sound like they're coming along in leaps and bounds our little bubs... not so little now but I still call Oskar my bubba boy and today he looked in the mirror and said bubba boy...lol. He's really started in the past few weeks to string a lot more words together and say new words almost every day! I must say there are a few of them that sound so similar that you have to really pay attention to him to work out what he means.
Karina, it's funny that Claire says the first part of the words...Oskar says the last part...like drink is rink and truck is ruck...lol. He's learning colours at the moment which is funny cos he gets fixated on a colour and EVERYTHING is that colour then. He says rerrow for yellow. OMG @ the fridge!@ I had to put a lock on it cos Oskar would go and open it and stand there with the door wide open or it once swung back and knocked him over...lol...own fault, I warned him.
Sarah, good for you and Ari! I only stopped cos it was hurting my nipples too much being pg. Oskar still comes up and says "pa" to me re: booby if I'm getting changed and he notices them uncovered. Last night I was getting out of the shower and knelt down and he leant forward got it in his mouth. There's been a few times he has done that but it's like he's kinda forgotten what to do. Mostly he says "pa bubba" cos I have started to tell him that the bubba will have pa soon just so he's not like OMG what is going on.
Ali, Emy sounds so cute! She always has and she's always been so bright!@ Must have a little genius on your hands there I reckon.
Karina, yay for quitting the job too btw! It's amazing how much better you can feel by doing something so simple really huh.
Oskar has his terrible two's moments from time to time.. anyone else finding this now?? He's getting very strong willed but overall is still a very easy going kiddie. Yesterday I had to pop into Bunnings which Oskar calls "mummies"...I think it's more a case of he can't say it and that's as close as he can get... anyway, he went on about going back there for the rest of the day!! Drove me nuts! We're teaching him to say sorry too, he goes rorry mummy/daddy buboo - which is love you..haha what a little suck up ;) Nah, I love how he says he little words and wish that I could freeze time sometimes.
We did a hypnobirthing refresher course today and for the first time Oskar was left with someone for half the day. Must've been the quietest car trip I've had in almost 2 years..lol. Was a little weird and I'd see things that Oskar would see and would say to Andy the way Oskar would say it...lol. It was kinda good for me in a way though cos now I have proof in my mind that he's ok with someone else. He was with a friend who's little boy is a few weeks younger. I knew he'd be ok, but I guess there's always that little seed of doubt if you haven't done it before. Well I guess that's enough from me for now.
Hugs to you all and Karina, hope you feel better.

Hey ladies!!! Wahooo there is post in here :)
Cass - The morning sickness is back with a vegence again! Bla! Food is again in the horrible things i must do but hate doing... Lol... I am having some days are better then others... Usually every 2nd day is a BAD one... I had a really bad day at work the other day, which ended up me a blubbering mess in my bosses office, i felt like a fool!!!
i hope those belly pains stop for you hun! There is so much i forgot about being pregnant, the uterus stretching pain was one of them :) I have belly pics up in the gallary if you wanna have a look...
Oskar sounds gorgeous, and i'm glad i'm not the only one getting the terrible twos! that must of been so good for you an oskar :) Hope you are well...
Sarah - Oh wow, Congrats on still breastfeeding that is fantastic! I would love to keep going that far, but i feel i would get to many road blocks with DF. My scan is in 12 days time... I can't wait, yes we're going to find out the sex. Ari sounds gorgeous...
Ali - hey babe, emy sounds gorgoeus and so smart! Must take after her mummy :) I love their versions of talking so much cuter then normal talking lololol!
Karina - I told you i would party it up with you but you need to move up to brissy :) Would you like to do my assignment for me babe, Its a killer! Have you done Health Law yet, It is really interesting!!! and i think going to cause alot of debates in class! I start back up on tuesday! So excited! Hehe at least she is getting her calcium !!!
Well Izzy is growing too fast :( I need time to slow down, its hard to believe we're in our third year (sarah you scared me when u said that, never thought of it like that) she is getting more independent and head strong (like her mother) everyday!
Is anyone else, if they dont get there own way, izzy will bang her head on the closes thing possible! its driving me insane, she does it heaps more if i recognise it, but if i just ignore it she'll only do it once!
izzy goes to kindy one day a week now, while i go off to uni, on tuesdays. she cries everytime i drop her off but as soon as i am out of sight she stops and has a great rest of the day... she is speaking heaps and learning so much every day, she loves dancing and painting and playing with her bubbas... I can't sit on the couch alone, she has to sit beside me (not on me, beside) so we are going to have fun when i get bigger loL!
When did everyone quit work while pregnant? I'm having a hard time at work already (was an overly emotional pregnant lady who was a blubbering mess in my bosses office the other day, due to being sick, staff politics and exhaustion) I feel like a fool! I'm struggling heaps with the 8hour shifts, luckily i only have 2 of them. And staff polictics are driving me insane!!! And boy are they going to cope it at our meeting tomorrow... And i've already been told if i get to emotional i can blame it on hormones :P
anyways i have to go... This has turned into a really big post! And i'm rambling... take care
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Ari, Oskar, Emy, Claire, Kaiden, Grace, Izzabella... And i am very sorry if i forget anyone! Lucky your all too young to remember hehe :)

Cassie, hope your morning sickness buggers off soon. When I do get pregnant again, I'm hoping that is one thing I dont get so bad again. I'm starting Health Law in a few weeks, at my uni health law is embedded into another bigger subject, so we only have 2 or 3 lectures on health law and a big assignment. I'm doing full time at the moment whihc is 2.5 days a week, so I'm going to see how I go. If its too full on I think I'll go down to part time next semester. We do only 3 subjects at a time so hopefully it will be ok. LOL When Claire doesnt get her own way she stamps her feet - no head bashing here, or on a few ocassions she has actually hit me. Sometimes she'll just sit on the floor and make lots of noise. When I was pregnant I worked until 37 weeks (or maybe it was 36 weeks, I cant remember!). I didnt have a physical job though, just an office job. The office politics was killing me too but I was lucky in that I sat at a desk away from everyone else, so I was on my own most of the day and didnt have to deal with it too much. Towards the end I was going insane though and couldnt wait until my leave started. Can you maybe have a chat with your manager about doing less shifts - just tell her/him its all a bit stressful for you at the moment and you dont want to burn yourself out. Thanks for Claires birthday wishes :)
Cass, I love toddler-speak! Lol how Oskar says the second half of the word and Claire says the first half, thats so cute! Claire hit me other day when she didnt get her own way, so DH told her to sit in the corner and then come over to mummy and say sorry and give a hug when she was ready.. She sat in the corner for like 3 seconds then came running over to me, said "rorry" and gave me a big huig and a kiss. It was so cute (not the hitting bit, but the sorry and hug bit).
Sarah, yeah its nursing I'm doing at uni. I think its great youre breastfeeding Ari still. I'm all for breastfeeding toddlers. I'm sure Bob wouldnt realise if he didnt see you breastfeeding her! lol. Its such a nice mummy and baby time, isnt it? Not too long before Claire stopped breastfeeding she became so obsessed with my boobs. She'd just walk up to me and yank my shirt open just to look at my breast, and she'd constantly ask for it but then when I gave it to her she'd just play with it.. It was wierd! But I do miss bf her.
Its Claires Birthday on Tuesday and tomorrow night I'm going to make some cupcakes with her to take to daycare. We got this little cupcake making set from supermarket, I dont know how they'll turn out but we'll give them a go! We had a mini party for her today when DH's parents came to visit us. We had lunch and cake at our place and she got some presents which she played with for the rest of the afternoon. She got a Little People set like a doll house type thing and she was having much fun opening and closing the doors and moving the people around, and she also got some books and a music player. We're having bigger party next weeekend, and we have finially got some RSVP's to say people are coming, lol.

Hi gal's it's so nice chatting in here again!
We got some family pics done today at the beach by a photographer, which is actually our aunty - we are so lucky. I have uploaded some we took ourselves to facebook if you wanna see, while she was off doing her thing with the others - looking forward to getting myself airbrushed - I am shocked at the amount of weight I am still carrying :-(
Cass - hugs to you, from someone who was still sick on their DUE DATE I hear you!!! As for working ummmm 36wks with DS (he was born 3days later - so much for my time off :-) and DD 16wks :-) We had problems with my heart though and had to move so doesn't really count. I went back to relief teaching until 24wks but had too many braxtons and had to go home and the schools stopped calling so much after that. As for head butting tanty's she has (touch wood) settled down in the last month. Before that she would throw a wobbly if I tried to put her in a shirt she didn't want to wear, throwing herself down kicking and screaming - just like on the movies - scary! But she seems OK now. She still gets very frustrated if I don't understand something she wants and gets upset if she has to share or someone takes something she wants but she gets over it. We just ignored the tanty's and then distracted her with something else.
Karina - thanks, I do need to wean her but I'm reluctant. She doesn't want to and I just don't want to regret it IYKWIM, she's my last bubba :-( Happy b'day to Claire for Tuesday! Hope the parties and cupcakes go well.
Have to go to bed, have an assignment due on Ari's b'day - that sux, might get called into work tomorrow and I am underprepared and it's been a BIG day :-) night all and HAPPY Birthday March Bubbies! Not bubbies anymore
:loveshower::happybirthday::happybirthday::happybi rthday::happybirthday::happybirthday::loveshower:

Sarah, I say if you don't want to wean and you aren't ready then DON'T! It was very bitter sweet for me at the time. I would've left it to Oskar but I just couldn't take the pain anymore.
Funny thing today.... he still knows and is very aware what boobies are and do ...well as far as for him...(as I said before he will come up to me on occasion and open his mouth and put it in his mouth but not suck)....anyway, back to the story. We were in Big W and walking past the underwear section and he sees some bras hanging up and goes "PA!"...lol...oh and then the undies on the manequins..haha walks over tries to pull them down to check the "memis" which yep is a penis. He thinks EVERYONE has one!!!
Wow, can't believe the birthdays have already started!! Claire happy birthday for tomorrow little one. Happy Birthday to all our little bubbas growing into toddlers.
Cass, to you. I hope you feel better. MS just sucks so much.
OMG...I just saw my ticker and it had 6 wks 5 days left until the next bub... *GULP* that's making it a little scary sounding!!
