Kim - Yeah i thought about that in the shower this morn!! :doh: Its been 4 weeks if you count the days. I get confused with it all!! I am so glad you had good day with Darcy. That is a bargain with the baby bath seat! I got given a hand-me-down from Brent's sister. We have'nt tried it yet though. I can't believe you like the smell of baby balsam!! I hate it!! When i got sick when i was younger my mum used to rub vicks on me and when she left the room i used to rub it off!! I still can't stand it!! Glad you liked Briley's webpage. I noticed you updated your space. I am going to check it out shortly. Thanks for leaving a msg!!

Shazz - 2 teeth now!! WOW...its all happening now!! Glad you NEARLY got a full nights sleep. I woulda sh*t myself too if Briley was sleeping face down. The last few nights she has been waking up laying across the cot! I can hear her crying and banging her head on the rails!!

Nat - Those sales are good hey. I really need to get my a** into gear and get in there and check em out too. Cause we live out so far i only go in one day a week and that day is normally big enough without having to run around on a search for sales!! Plus we still have plenty of clothes that were way too big which were given to us when Briley was born. I need to get her some new shoes but.

Leanne - LOL @ the asians. They are so funny somtimes. They are amazed by the slightest things!!

Mummy - Great idea with the early packing!! I have moved several times and when i did i always tried to pack several weeks before moving. I even tried to take all the stuff out of one room and clean it. Just so there is not so much of a rush when the time comes. The worst part of moving is the cleaning. And when you get to that stage where you have all the little bits and pieces left and you don't know what to do with them! Good luck with finding a house!! Great that Phoebe is sitting up now too!!

Well today i managed to go into town, see the CHN, do the groceries, pay some bills, drive home and cook brent a roast chicken meal to take to work!! I felt quite proud of myself actually. Even though i was getting abused for someone being late for work cause he was sitting on his a** all afternoon and lost track of time. Even after i cooked this beautiful meal. GRRRRR......:angry:

Sara ~ Sounds like a very busy day! Em loves feet right now as well. Briley weighs a bit less then Em and is heaps longer (well 1 ½ cm longer lol). Your dinner sounds wonderful – where was my invite lol? I’ve only got one pair of shoes for Em which are so cute but I never put them on him anymore because he just kicks them off or they hinder him while he crawls.

Shazz ~ You know what I didn’t even notice the username change LOL. You’ve always been Shazz to me ;). I hope Ryan puts on some weight for you! I’m sure its just because he’s been sick the poor thing.

Kim ~ I can’t remember reading that you start back at work then but I could have missed it. I know that you’re working around DH’s shifts etc but is it fulltime hours? That is an excellent bargain with the bath seat too. Sounds like you had a fun day as well.

Vic ~ Em blows raspberries while he eats as well. Grrr like I want to wear weetbix!!!

Ok Em goes to sleep without a bottle (refuses it) a few hours after his last meal (a big serving of pumpkin and then fruit the little piggie). After being asleep for an hour or so (around 10ish each night) he will wake up and have 20 or 30mls of milk and that is it – will sleep through till morning. It doesn’t really bother me but I’m wondering why? I cannot make him drink more milk before he goes to sleep. Any ideas?

Nat - He might be teething. I have read that babies sometimes go off their food while they are teething. I reccommended a webpage to kim called "raising children". It is really really good. Has lots of info about development and stuff relating to whatever age they are at. Kim found it very useful for Darcy not sleeping.

Nat I'm going to do 24hrs a week. Either 2x9hrs +6hrs or 2x12hrs. Hopefully some arvos and weekend days to boost the income as well, which they can hardly deny seeing as I'm doing them a HUGE favour. No-one wants to do my job cos it's lots of paperwork and responsibiltiy and little thanks or recognition. On the upside I don't have to deal with sh#t as much and I rarley have to go to court. And my OCD gets enough of a workout there that it doesn't bother me at home LOL.

We're off to the funeral today. My cousin's coming from Newcastle to mind Darcy while we're at the service. She's going to come with me and just push her in the pram. But of course it hasn't rained for ages and it's pouring this morning.

My SIL and cousin are coming today for a day of sewing for Christmas. We were going to walk first but its raining. I'm not too fussed about it as we've already walked over 25kms this week. My legs are sore and my blisters need a break.... It's all part of our "operation fit shorts for Christmas", campaign.... :)

Morning Girls,

Early one this morning. Been up and down with Briley all night. Not sure whats going on. Everytime she wakes up she tries to sit up and brings her legs right up to her chest. Not sure if she is irritated or what. We've been up since about 5.30am. Brent did'nt get home till 3am!! So i've left him and come into the spare room to try and sleep but thought i would jump on here for 5. Briley is now playing with her toys on the bed.

Hopefully some of that rain will be on its way here Kim. Apprently we are in for thunderstorms. Its humid and still as at the moment. I just went and took the washing off the line before it starts.

I have'nt been to a funeral in 12 years. Last was my mums brother when i was 10. Was very emotional. As all funerals are i spse. Its funny how it always rains on the day of a person you know's funeral. I known of a few funeral and it has always been raining on those days. Good luck.

Not much on the agenda here today. We have to take the BIN to the dump cause it is becoming quite vile! Then we have to take those dogs Brent found to the pound cause no-one has called to claim them and we can't afford to feed them anymore. Its been 2 weeks today.

Nat: I went to Kmart last night and bought Jayden a blue tshirt that says Tough Guy $7.99 and a singlet top that says Safari Division $5.99 – Half the second item and you get $11 right?? He only charged me $9.48……He manually discounted the 2nd top then the register discounted it again so I go the 2nd top for $1.50!! I’ll go through his register again LOL. If Em is still sleeping through I wouldn’t worry, he is probably just topping up a little and that’s all he needs.

Shazz: I hope Ryan gets better soon and he gains some weight. I didn’t notice the name change either til Kim mentioned it haha

Kim: Good Luck at the funeral today…..I hope it goes well and the rain clears!!

Jayden has taken to waking at 3.30am the last 2 nights and 4.30am the mornings before that. He is having a 200ml bottle and going straight back to sleep. Yesterday he was at PIL’s and I got MIL to give him a 260ml bottle and I give him a 260ml bottle before he goes to bed (the rest are 200ml) thinking that he wasn’t getting enough during the day but that didn’t work….his gums were annoying him badly yesterday so maybe its just teething…..I hope it stops soon I am so tired by the time I get work. I got so mad at DP again yesterday but I’ll write about it later, I have to get ready for work now :(

The funeral today wasn't so bad. My brother had to wait for mum to bring his suit pants but she was late and brought the wrong ones.....he was so disappointed he couldn't be there for our sister he tried to go buy another pair but it would have taken them too long to alter.....he's a good kid. But as a result we had to stand at the door of the chapel. It was about a thousand degrees and steamy due to the rain so the door wasn't a bad place to be, plus you couldn't see the grieving relatives so it wasn't so emotional. My sister spoke and did really well seeing as she's so shy, but his son's just couldn't.
Darcy was good and didn't cry for my cousin until I came back into sight, so that was a bonus.

Bit waterlogged here this arvie. Gee we've had some rain in a real short space of time.

Well another lonely night ahead here tonight. Brent has been on n/s for 5 weeks straight now. The thing that makes it worse tonight is that its friday!! Its ok though cause we have to save for our trip to hamilton is on the 16, 17 and 18 of Nov. I am really looking forward to it. I would've like to have lost a bit of weight but thats a never ending story!!

Briley is sleeping now cause i sang her too sleep!! There was a Martina McBride spotlight on CMC on Austar and i was singing along to her and she was just in awe!! She did'nt make a move or a make a sound the whole time.....WAS I THAT BAD BRILEY!!!

I wanted to have a couple of weekend off to save money for Hamilton Is anyways. Plus we a bit short of cash this week.

Austar and BB will keep me occupied for the weekend though. I am kinda glad Brent is on nights cause the days are usually the most boring.

Another early one this morning. Not liking this i tell you!!

Got a VERY nice suprise lastnight. Was bathing Briley, cause she woke up and would'nt go back to sleep, and Brent came home!! I was quite happy to say the least. And he does'nt have to work for the rest of the weekend!! YAY!!!

Today we are going to run a few errands in town. Then we are going to pick up my new chickens!! YAY!! And a couple of hens and a rooster!! Then prolly come home and depending on the weather we will go out and do some gardening.

Briley is full of beans thismorning. I have lost track of how many times she woke up lastnight and early this morning. Hoping and praying that its a phase (and a short one and that!!!)

So we were planning on visitng DH's parents down south next week as DH has a couple of weeks of work from today.

Poor bgr came home early yesterday after doing his back in, muscle spasms.

So our little holiday is cancelled. I am so disappointed as I was looking forward to some time away from home. I actually want to cry. BUT.... I can't show DH the disappointment cause he feels so bad and it's not like it is his fault.

Kim: Looks like I'll be able to attend the Melboure Cup thingy on Tuesday after all....

We had an excellent day today at the Christmas Pageant. Caught public transport in which was a bit of a nightmare but other then that lots of fun. Emerson was pretty well behaved though he was really tired and almost slept the whole pageant away. Surprisingly enough he was really interested in all of the movement and colour and not afraid by the noise which was great. Just about to put up the Christmas tree and wrap Christmas presents! YAY!

Evening Ladies,

Today was nice. We went into town and i got my chickens. And i went out and had lunch with my mum and the last of the fanily down south. They were flying out today. Then we got a pair or geese. And came home.

Brent cooked me a simple dinner and we have been laying on the lougeroom floor reading the paper, watching tv and just chillin. As much as i wish we had company, its been nice just having the 3 of us here.

Might be taking the dogs to the beach for a swim tomorrow. See how we go.

Leanne - Sorry to hear the bad news about your trip. Hope you DP feels better soon! At least now you will be able to have a good day with Kim at the Melbourne Cup thingy.

Nat - A Christmas pageant??? I've never heard of that before. Glad it was fun for you though. Hate to put a dampner on your xmas fun...but is'nt it bad luck to put up the xmas tree before the 1'st of December??? Thats what i have heard anyways. I was going to do the same so Briley can see the lights but i can't handle the risk of anymore bad luck this year!!!

Well my Dh's back is still pretty bad. Takes him half an hour to get out of bed. And there's nothing I can do to help so it's really frustrating. I was angry with him yesterday (even though I know it's not his fault) but today I feel sorry for him.

We're off to my parents for a hamburger on the barbie lunch today. Weather's looking a little yukko so luckily they have a varanda out back.

Kaitlyn's been good. Fed her at 9 and she's still in the land of nod.

Afternoon Ladies,

Briley slept well lastnight and if i had've gone to bed earlier i would've had a got sleep too. She also woke up at normal time of 6 and played alone in her cot for about an hour.

Nothing much planned for today. Mum and aunty have come out for the day. We just had a smorgasboard(sp??) lunch. We had curry saugsages and rice, bacon, eggs, onion cooked on the bbq, salad and fresh bread rolls. Mmmm Mmmm.... Was really nice.

We were going to take the dogs to the beach but prolly will take them down the creek for a swim when it gets cooler. Trying to do washing in between too.

I don't remember them shows cause i was prolly too young. I have heard of "The Goodies" but not the other one. I used to watch "Are you being served" on ten on friday nights when i was about 10. Sorry to hear your DP is still feeling crappy Leanne. I know what you mean when you say you feel sorry for him. I get really angry at Brent sometimes and then when i see him sleeping or playing with Briley i feel terrible!

OMG times 5 million.

I have been a bit quiet lately as (I cant believe what I am about to say) I have just found out I am pregnant.

This is the biggest shock ever as DH and I were only planning on having two children and also due to the age gap between DS number 2 and baby number 3, which will only be 14 months. I am saying 14 months, but I am not entirely sure if I am further along as AF isnt regular, especially since finishing breast feeding. It is crazy as we have come from struggling to get pregnant with DS 1 and having to do IVF, then falling pregnant fairly easily with DS 2 and now this!!!

We are now coming to terms with the pregnancy, it has just been a massive shock, but we are looking at all of the positives.

I feel a bit guilty as I posted a few days ago asking about HPT results for a friend - well there was no friend it was me I was talking about but I didnt want to say it was me as I hadnt told DH at that stage. ( I didnt think it was fair to tell all of BB I was pregnant and not DH who was away for work at the time!!!)

So there we go - we have told our families, but will keep it quiet from everyone else for a little biit longer.

Sounds like every one has been busy with bubs and life in general.

We stayed at Mum's last night (Darcy and I) and she didn't sleep at all. Guess she just wanted to be with me but she wanted to stay up late the little buggar.
We bought osme rice cereal today and wasn't going to start until Wednesday, but then she wanted some of my caramel sundae.....and cried when I wouldn't give her any so I did and she wanted more and more! So we gave her some rice cereal. Funny funny. She didn't waste any though - didn't even require a bib! Hope she sleeps better tonight.

Sara-We know each other from the June thread.
Kim- I gave Pat some of the heinz organic food made for 4 months, he loves it, but then again so do the other kids!

Hi Kim I have misplaced your home tel # so I can't phone you - der.....
Mark's back is still shocking so we'll have to take a raincheck on dinner tomorrow night.
He's off for two weeks though so maybe another night?

Well we had another milestone today.....Briley rolled from her back to her stomach!!!
I never saw it myself but mum was laying on the loungeroom floor with her and saw it. She loved it. She was laying on the floor in the nude just crusing around. She looked so cute. Briley i mean, not my mum!!!:p

Had a pretty mellow day. Bout to go to bed now. Pretty tired cause i had an late night early morning.

It has been very quiet in here today.....

just popping in to say HI and to say have a great day hubby is home today so we are going to walk the kids to school ( i got asked yesterday whether i was pg:help: :crying: second time in a week man i got to do something about my weight it is just so hard when none of my joints want to work and i ache all over ) so i nice gentle walk to school (20mins or so there 20 back) should do me today then i have to wash ryan is running out of shirts and singlets so thats my day boring really

Happy 5mths Briley for yesterday and while we're at it happy 5mths to Jayden for 1 week and 4 days ago!!

We have been out all weekend, it feels like I haven't had a weekend at all!! Bundy Thunder was on so we spent pretty much the entire weekend there. Saturday, Jayden did really well....he had a bottle there and then went straight to sleep for 3hrs and through all that noise!! Sunday he was awake for the whole thing and there was one race that was a bit too loud for him (I covered his ears too) and he cried a little. We went back to SIL#3's house and let Jaydend have a little dip in the pool....the water was nice but the wind was a little too cold so I just had my feet in and Jayden didn't get completley imersed.

I think Jayden is teething again....something is going on he keeps waking at 3am!! he has 2 x 260ml 3 or 4 x 200ml bottles and a BF and also giving him a little farex so I very much doubt he is hungry although when he wakes he won't go back to sleep untill he has a bottle. I was giving him a 200ml bottle bt dropped it to 130ml last night and will drop it again to 60ml tonight. Saturday night I gave him some panadol but that didn't work. Any ideas anyone??

Oh and AF came last wednesday :( 14 months without a visit and now as soon as I stop BF'ing she thinks she is welcome LOL.....Oh well it had to come eventually.

Tania, It could be habit with the night waking as it only takes a week to form one. I'm just about an expert now Darcy has some DREAFUL habits of night waking and won't be broken. But the cutting back on the bottle sounds like a fantastic idea.

Just jumping on quickly. I am on a cleaning mission today. Still got a few loads of washing to do. Need to do some ironing. Do the dishes (naughty i know!) and maybe if i feel like it i will vacumn and mop out!! So i have a busy day ahead.

Brent is finally back on days so we have a bit of normality back in our lives!! Briley is still sleeping now and it's 10.15am. She woke at 6am and played till 7 then i gave her a bottle and she went back to sleep. I only just crawled out of bed myself. Feeling a little under the weather today. Hopefully cleaning will keep my mind off it!
