I think I want to cry
Not only am I physically and emotionally drained, but I have just picked up my sick daughter from daycare. Pooh and spew everywhere, and my DH's working until late.
Elissa I think I have them too. How do you know for sure I don't want to ask DH to look there.
Oh Leanne you poor thing. Put her to bed, have a hot drink and something yummy to eat then go to bed.
ohhhh nothin worse then a sick kid that is for sure! Hope you are both better soon.
Kim - he isn't bad bad like before, just up and down with his eating really, we had a good patch in the last month but he is slowly not showing alot of interest again! I do just have to face it that he is always going to be small and he doesn't love food like me, but sometimes when he screams at me and doesn't want to eat it really gets me down, but I just have to remember where we were and it is not that bad. I do get very frustrated and I guess it is just because of where we have been and I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK THERE! I just couldn't believe how much he was eating a month ago, it was truely unbelievable, must have had a growth spurt but in saying that he put on like 20grams in 5 weeks so god only knows why he is slowly showing less interest again. But on a good note I tried him with egg custard last night, because he is so fussy it becomes very hard to find variety in food especially seeing as we can't have milk products, but I got desperate and tried it and no effects so far...... So I am hoping and praying that we have turned another corner and he has grown out of his milk intolerances. God that would just be bliss to me!!!!
Oh and also elissa np with sharing my story I have been a little ashamed, but thanks Kim for reassuring me with ur story too, I don't feel so bad now. I didn't know how everyone here would react.
Going to have an early night, I am really tired by the weekend, going to give the paperwork a miss tonight.
Lachlan went to sleep on the bottle tonight he was absolutely knackered, he is hardly crawling at all atm, so thinking that is really waring him out now. He even left 100ml and he never does anymore. He loves his milk.... for a kid that never use too it is really quite weird! Thinking about reducing his first wake up milk too cause he is really hard to feed breakfast atm, wonder if that will help?
Night everyone.
Ooohh Leanne!! And they left her like that at daycare?!?!?! I wish it wasn't 11 o'clock and I wasn't reading before going to bed because I would have come over. PS If you have a feel you'll know - I know gross, but it's better than someone else doing it.
Ha no worries Sheree! I have way more embarrassing gynae stories i could make you feel better with - I got a dud lot in that department. That's something positive with the egg custard I guess...did he like it?
He appeared to like it as it was something new, but still need distraction atm, putting lots of different things for him to play with in his hands so he doesn't think about it all too much.
Well this is the third whole day it has rained non stop - woohoo. Glad for the farmers but man. Newcastle has been declared a natural disaster zone, DH looks like heading up there later. Could be interesting as bits of the highway have collapsed.
We're having a garage sale at mum's next weekend so I dragged all the stuff downstairs earlier as the weather had eased off and I thought I'd get out and take it over - now the weather's about 1000 times worse and I have an entry/hall full of crap!
DH came home early yesterday and didn't do the planned overtime because he had a tantrum. I told him he had to stay there today and do it cos we desperatley need the money. He was being so dumb last night I went to the stamping party I wasn't going to go to - had a good time too.
Hope everyone's weekend is better than ours!
ETA not only is it freezing here, but a pantless Darcy (who is reading a cooking magazine and turning every page with a 'yummy!") is sitting guarding the door to her bedroom and holding the remote to the fan to ransom. SHe won't let me turn the buggar off!
OMG Darcy sounds like such a crack up Kim!! Your DH sounds sooo much like mine, mine has been known to have a tanty and come home "sick" from work. I went up to Westfield before with most of the district and had to park on the roof in the rain. It took 20 minutes to get out of the carpark afterwards too so I was pretty pooey.
Yeah thought about doing that too, but naaah too hard.
I think she's a hoot! Her favourite new phrase is "I'll get it!"1 before she chucks whatever shes holding on the floor. Also I have to spray her with deoderant, perfume and put cream on her face too when we're in the bathroom cleaning our teeth0..6102 The numbers are from Darcy.
And you should see the look she gets when she's going to fart....then she does this big grin and laughs. LOL wasn't me wh taught her that.
Hi girls!
Well the needles went ok. She did cry (and so did i!) but she was ok when they brang out the lollypops! I have noticed thought that the needles did affect her walking though. Who else said something like that??? She kept falling over! She is tired but fine today.
I am ok. Think i might be coming down with ANOTHER cold though! I am sick of tired of colds, coughs and flu's!
Sorry for the lack of personals! I will be back online later maybe!
Hope you are all well!
Hi Kim saw your MSN message but just got home. My Oma turned 85 yesterday so we all had dinner at a cafe. It was so nice. It was one of thost cafes in a garden centre, and my aunty knew the chef so it was kept open just for us. So intimate and nice. And it felt weird walking in the kitchen and grabbing what you liked etc.
Anyway, we're off to CAnberra tomorrow so better go and get a few things packed.
We picked a great weekend for it eh?
Hope all is well.
L
I love those cafes Leanne, Flower Power at Glenhaven has a great one with a children's playground inside it.
Hope everyone is having a good long weekend and the weather is better in other states! We are going to my aunty's 50th today in Lithgow so are in for a long drive. It will be freezing there too!!
Sara- hope you are feeling OK and not doing too much!
Kim- did DH have to go to Newcastle? We saw police on duty at intersections on Pennant Hills rd yesterday cause the lights were out and I felt so sorry for them standing in the cold and wet.
Sheree- hope Lachlan is eating more for you, its stressful isn't it ? My first DD had a lactose intolerance but grew out of it by 1yr. Is the virus that you have the one they are now vaccinating teenage girls against? (HPV I think its called) Apparently heaps of women have it but don't know, please don't be embarrassed, its just another joy of womanhood LOL
Jodie- how is the m/s going? and the packing?? (what else are you selling on ebay?)
Elissa- heaps of my mother's group had 'roids ( we used to say they got roid rage LOL) they all tried heaps of different over the counter treatments but one I know ended up with a prescription one which worked for her. Don't feel guilty about putting Archie in front of the TV, at least it was kids shows, where I taught long ago they would put their kids in front of the most dreadfully inappropriate TV shows and let them watch all the late night movies. We could tell every Monday in the playground if the Sunday night movie had been violent by the way they played.
Riley has to have his needles on Tuesday, I hate taking him I feel so mean! My mum took Jess for all of hers cause I hate needles so much (and I am a wimp LOL)
Better go and give Riley some more breakfast than a crust of raisin toast LOL he is trying to destroy the room around me in the hope of getting attention I think.
Morning all! Well the weaher has finally cleared here and the sun's out. Good thing too cos nappies don't dry well in the rain! And I have not a single sposie left....
I'm supposed to be going to Mum's all day today for a snooze and lunch with my sister and I have a thousand things to get ready for work tonight and tidy up and what am I doing....not that.
Least the sun cleared for your trip Leanne.
Hi Christine, yeah off memory I believe that is what it was called HPV. Truely there is a vaccine now, wow! Yeah my doctor assured me that about 90% of women have this virus and most don't even know, so that made me feel better. Pregnancy for me made the virus not so dormant anymore, could have had it for years apparently. And yeah it is a struggle with food for Lachlan but no way near as bad as before, but at that stage it was extreme, so I have to be thankful, just that he is dropping in percentiles again, nearly below the 3rd again and he is a tiny 8.3kgs, but he is still active and healthy looking so hopefully it is just another phase, we seem to have good patches, just the bad ones outway the good most of the time. So so so frustrating!
But hey gals I tried him on yoghurt this morning. So we have tried custard for 3 days and decided to go the yoghurt. I am a little scared as the yoghurt was the problem at 5mths that started his really bad drinking 10-20ml at any given feed and that was when he was tube fed. Cross ya fingers for me that he is well past all that and the yoghurt has no effect!
Have a nice day Kim.
Hope the yoghurt goes well Sheree.
Yep Christine it is the HPV but there are 30 or so different strains. The new vaccine only works for 3 main ones I think. I don't have one of those. Sheree it's a national vaccine for all pre-teens now.
Yeah I heard that too, all different strains. That is good they are trying to do something with the vaccine then hey! I am just confused if I am so prone to cancer now why they don't just burn them off or something. They did tell me that they more then likely just go away but gees you always live and wonder if it will turn into cancer now!!!!!
hi all i'm having computer issues so i may not be on much till i can figure out what the heck is going on
The vaccine is in 3 doses, Jess has her 2nd next week, they are giving it to girls in Yrs9-12 I think.
At least you know about it and can be aware of your higher risk but I guess knowing can be a stress in itself. I have a very strong family history of oestrogen related cancers (think that's it) my mum died of ovarian cancer, her mum had breast cancer and grandma's mum died of cancer of the uterus. I was going to get genetic testing done to see if I had the gene but unfortunately you need to have a blood test from a relative who has survived and unfortunately my grandma died the week of my appt. so I can't get it done I can only be more vigilant.
Hope Lachlan went ok with yoghurt Sheree, Riley used to spew up yoghurt when I first tried him on it at 6-8 months, he has only been OK with it for about a month or two.
Shazz- hope your computer dramas get fixed!
hopefully crossed fingers it is fixed for now
where is everyone ? off having a life... ( something i'm lacking ) enjoying the long weekend i suppose well i can't wait to hear what you have all been up too i had withdrawald BIG time ...
Shazz, I've been sleepin. Hope your puter is fixed.
Sheree the viruse gets into your cells, they're not an entity on their own. That's why they can't be zapped off. It makes your own cells more susceptable (sp?) to the process required to change them into cancerous cells.
Hiws those lumps going Sheree?
Yay Shazz is back, and now I'm going hehe, not cause you smell or anything lol.
I will be MIA for a week, going to Mackay for appts galore. But mainly Lachlan's paed appt, my scan and mammogram and testing of my eyes and I have a reunion to go to. A bunch of people I worked with years ago.
I was given a voucher sometime ago from a group of friends when I was having hard times with Lachlan, to a Dayspa and I am finally going, yahooo, 3 hours of bliss, should be great! Can't wait.
Kim - I can't feel the lumps they must be small, but for some reason it is not something I like to do either, touch my boobs! But the pain is still there but have to admit not as bad lately, maybe it is the evening primrose tablets helping. Thanks for askin honey.
Lachlan just woke up and had a 39 degree temp, he has been way out of sorts today the poor mite, just won't stop crying.
Anyway best go and get the packing finished. Chat to you all in a week or so.
xoxo
Sheree i once had a painful lump in my bbs and the mammogram lady said pain is a good sign cause usually cancer lumps don't hurt so hopefully yours will just be painful lump/cysts like mine were.
Yeah Christine that is what the nurse told me too, but she wants me to have a scan just for ease of mind. She believes the pain is more hormonal, that is why I am taking epo, and it seems to be working. I still have pain, but not as much.
Anyway cheerio everyone chat to you all in a week.
Xoxo
Drive safe Sheree and good luck. Hope Lachlan is feeling better.
Good luck with Riley's needles tomorrow Christine.
Gees Nat must be busy. SHe never goes this long without a post.
Sheree will be thinking of you and hope all the tests come back clear.
We made it back from Canberra safely. I think I have thawed out... :) It was freezing down there. They have cracker night the long weekend and it's weird driving around with fireworks going off left right and centre.
Anyway, my MIL looked pretty tired, but in good spirits. Waiting on some test results this week so fingers crossed.
Well better go ni ni's - work tomorrow. Ugh.
wow!!! so many posts, i am tired and i will never remember what you have all said so please forgive me for being selfish and not doing personals....
Had a great weekend, our home loan money finally came in, turns out they entered the wrong account number which is why our money took so long to get to us (not happy jan!). Anyway bought some clothes, had a huge night out on the town sat night spent waaaay too much money one grog and junk food, bought a new bed which gets delivered Wednesday woo hoo, just need to hunt around for some cheap secong hand wardrobes, dining suite and computer desk. Getting air conditioning too thank goodness.
Archie has just started doing what we have been calling his 'angry voice'. Sounds like an angry bear its awful, i have been paying more attention to the way we adults talk to him and i think we all need to be a bit softer and gentler with our tone of voice sometimes, that should help get rid of the angry voice i reckon.
Hoe you all had good weekends,
leanne - really hoping kaitlyn is feeling better and your weekend improved xx
Well everyone Lachlan woke at 9pm tonight as his temp peaked again at 39.1, gave him panadol immediately he was absolutely boiling. Then he started convulsing. Scariest thing I have ever seen and we had no idea what to do! Only lastest a minute but it was the longest minute of our lives. The ambulance came and took us to Emerald an hour away and when we arrived his temp was still 38.3 degrees. We waited to see a doc and sure enough my boy has tonsilitis. It's funny how you put everything down to teething, he has been grumpy for days now and not eating well again and it was his god dam tonsils grrr.... if only he could tell me. But that convulsion I have never seen anything like it, he went all stiff, as red as you could possibly imagine in the face with this terrible terrible expression and he started frothing at the mouth. A mothers worst nightmare. Wade had one as a baby so I knew a little about them in that you had to try to drop their temp, but not too fast. Wade went blue he stopped breathing, they had to hold his tongue and everything so Iam glad Lachlan was not that bad, but gee a terrifying situation all the same. I remember Wade's mum saying that they put him in a cold bath, but the emergency line said no, just wet washers, but Lachlan wouldn't let us put one near him. The doc also told me 2nite that you can let it go down too dramatically too as that is a disaster too and the shivering can also make it peak again. Anyway we have antibiotics and it is now 1am and I am very very tired. We will probably leave late 2morrow arve now if Lachlan is ok. What a nite, ni ni everyone.
OMG Sheree I know how scary that is. Jess had febrile convulsions at 1 (actually the week after she turned 1) from tonsillitis too, they lasted over 20 minutes and I had no idea what was happening its so frightening. Poor you having to go an hour to the hospital too. Glad he seems a bit better now, hope your break is restful you need it!
Leanne- glad you are thawing out!! I have everything crossed for your MIL.
Kim- hope work was OK
Uh oh just looked at the time!!! better get ready for school, more later BTW Where is Vic??
Morning girls!
Sorry i have been MIA a bit lately. Getting into the really tired stage again. We had a pretty busy weekend too. We went down to Brent's aunty and uncles yesterday to make up the fence for our front patio. This is to keep our little adventure girl in!!
Not much planned today. I have a few chores i need to get done. Ironing, washing...the normal stuff! Brent has gone in for a job interview and to see about another job. The second job is fly in fly out again but only 1 week on 1 week off. I told him i did'nt want him to do this cause i will need help with the baby but the money is really good.
Briley is good. Walking like a tropper now. She only crawls when she is'nt sure of the ground she is walking on. I still watch her in awe! Still no new teeth. We have a suspicion that one of the top 2 are about to come thorough. You can see the whites of the teeth but you can't feel them.
Briley is also talking heaps more! Lastnight Brent got home from in town with his dad and they were mucking around with the fence outside. Briley could see them at one point and was looking out the window from the lounge. I asked her "Where's dad?" and she replied, "With Bop!". Bop meaning pop! So funny.
Anyways, better get going with these chores. I do have some personals to add. I will be back later with them!
Hope you are all well.
Oh Sheree! That's awful!!! I so hope he's (and you are) felling better
OMG sheree i have also been down the road of febrile convulsions with my eldest they are freaking scary big hugs to you and little Lachie poor litlle mite
bi hi to everyonel else
and yeah where is Vic and Nat haven't seen a post in a while there hiding ....
well just got back formt the doctors with ryan and looks like our little man might be asmatic (sp) his dad is pretty bad and i've been lucky with the other kids but still we are jkust hoping it is the change in the weather he also has another start of an ear infection ( suprise suprise) so back on anti biotic s and a day off work for me though we could really really do with the money this week ok while he is asleep i'm off to get some washing done BBL
OMG Sheree how scary! I'm so glad he's okay! That must have been awful.
Yep I've been flat out Kim!
Should make it in later on this arvo for a catch up though!! I've missed you girls!!
WOW do I have a lot to catch up on.
Teaching prac last week was just fantastic. I really enjoyed it though it scared me slightly as I just got so far behind with housework and stuff. Though I’m sure if I was doing it all the time I’d get into routine. I missed Em way too much and for that reason I’m glad that its over. I’m not back to uni now till the end of July. Wish I could say that means I’m not busy LOL. I have an assignment to do before the end of June and then I will more then likely be moving house as well not to mention all the people I need to catch up with that I haven’t seen since my last uni break! But I love it and I’m really enjoying life at the moment.
Em is doing really well – lots of new words and he needs another hair cut already!!! I was going to grow his hair long but its so darn straight that it just grows like a mullet!!!! So maybe for the next hair cut we might go all spiky lol ;)
Got a busy day tomorrow with a make up swimming lesson, shopping and dinner with friends. Then Thursday I’m seeing a friend off at the airport, Friday I am hosting a parents group here and then I’m working all weekend. And its my birthday on Saturday!! I can’t wait!! It does feel as though I haven’t started holidays yet though LOL. Maybe next week it might!
Christine ~ I am so so glad that tresillan worked for you and things have improved. I missed you while you were gone. I was based in the Japanese room which was good and bad. I got to see lots of grades and I’ve decided I prefer the JP. Which is kinda hard as my degree is a Primary and Middle one. Will have to see what happens…
Jodie ~ YAY for the Ebay stuff! I’m sooo jealous of the car bed! I really want to get something like that for Em! How cool would it be! Em has chicken nuggets and loves frankfurts but I too cook and freeze stuff so its nice and easy. Haha I caught Em eating cat food at a friends yesterday – mmm yummy NOT!!! OMG @ 5 computers!!! I just want one and a laptop LOL.
Vic ~ Where are you? I hope everything is okay! Thinking of you!
Kim ~ That is really selfish and inconsiderate of DH to do that with the food. Darcy sounds like she’s got sooo much character the little minx. I love hearing all the things she gets up to!
Ellissa ~ Whoo hoo for officially starting TTC #2!!! How exciting! I’m jealous! Em has just started saying ‘more’ as well. Very cute! I’m glad your home loan money came through finally. It must be nice to be able to talk about TTC here if you’re not telling anyone you are. Eeek at the cat ripping apart the rubbish bag!!! Emerson loves the TV – I too feel slightly guilty but I he does enjoy it. Laughs and dances and plays about. Only when he’s tired will he actually just sit and watch otherwise he’s dancing or playing with toys at the same time. I’m looking for a new company for my internet. My prices just went up – AAPT seem really good.
Sheree ~ You’ve been through so much since I’ve known you. You are such a strong person – I really admire you. There is absolutely nothing to be ashamed of. I’m sure everything will turn out just fine. I hope Lachie is feeling better soon. Good luck with your appointments.
Tania ~ Look at Jayden in that photo! He is just gorgeous! I got your cake photos as well! – Did I reply, I can’t remember lol. I thought it was a fantastic cake anyway and way better then mine!
Leanne ~ I had a good look through Katy’s photos and she is just adorable! How is you MIL now? I hope Katy’s feeling better!
Shazz ~ Hope those computer issues are sorted promptly otherwise you’ll start having withdrawal symptoms LOL.
Sara ~ I hope that bubba turns! I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been feeling unwell. Whoo hoo for Briley’s new haircut!!!! I don’t know how you are coping with her there. She may do a lot for you but its hard when someone tries to overtake your role as a parent. How are things going? It is FREEZING here!
Hmm I need to book Em in for his shots!
Big beds… my cot converts into a bed so I think I will just use that until he gets big enough for a proper bed. No use wasting money on a new one – though a car one like Jodie has would be way cool LOL.
That is way too long and I just caught up on 4 pages of personals LOL.
Will be in more regularly to chat now YAY! Have a nice night girls! I’m off to pick up my boy.
Lovely to see you Nat. I'm glad prac went OK. have they talked much about the National Curriculum at uni ? I had my TARS (teacher assessment review something!) today and one of the questions the boss asked me was how I thought the Nat. curric would affect my teaching- having taught in NT I think it would be great to have the same starting age and curric. Australia wide. Sorry enough teacher talk.
Was all mentally prepared to take Riley for his needles this afternoon, dropped in via home to get DH and we checked the answering machine and there was a message to say cause of the blackouts on the weekend the vaccines had got too warm in the doctors surgery fridge so couldn't be used so now we have to wait til they get more in.
Tomorrow we have an excursion for K-2 to the Aquarium and Wildlife World, I am the organiser and there are 173 children and 29 adults going so I am a bit stressed! Hopefully the weather will be OK.
Jess had her 2nd cervical cancer vaccine today, she has a it of a fever and a really sore arm (it never ends this injection stuff LOL)
Riley isn't really saying many clear words yet except mum dad bub no ,he chats away in his own gibberish all the time though. He has started taking a couple of steps unaided so I think he isn't far off walking.
This has turned into a long post so I had better go.
Oh No Christine! Have to psych yourself up for another lot. I heard they were common side effects for Gardisil, hope she's feeling better soon.
Nat you'll wear youself out beofre too long lol. My goodness, better you than me you social butterfly!
I can't believe RYan's sick again Shazz!! I really hope it's not asthma for you guys. :crossfingers:
We went up to Newcastle today to see the Pasher Bolker that's stuck on the beach there - quite a sight! There were thousands of people there and it's only maybe 15om from the beach iff that. It was low tide and you could actually see the bottom of the hull in soe spots. Don't know how they were keeping her afloat and upright.....
And then Darcy screamed for the last hour of the drive. Man she hates being in the car.
Wow Kim that must have been interesting, did you get lots of photos? Riley is my best traveller so far, we went to Lithgow on Sunday and he was awake and happy the whole 2 hour trip there, on the way home he slept for 1hr and just chatted for the other hour. Erin used to scream and scream- even as a tiny baby if we tried to go for a drive to put her to sleep she would just yell- once I drove half way to Arnhem land! (we lived in Darwin)
Our excursion went really well, Wildlife World was good but more for 6yrs plus not so much younger kids.
Nat - its fantastic to hear that you really enjoyed your prac, i really am im awe of how you seem to be juggling so many things and doing so well at it, well done! i wish Archie had enough hair for a haircut.
christine - you poor thing getting yourself all phsyched up, then having to postpone them! poor Jess too. Gad the excursion went well. Well done Riley on trying to walk.
We are also lucky here that we have a fantastic little traveller, still sleeps for at lleast 1 hour on a two and a half hour trip, very lucky, im sure we wont be this lucky next one!
We finally got around to getting some professional photos af Archie done this morning, he was really good lots of cheeky smiles, we get to pick the photos we want on Friday morning, can't wait. Got out new bed ensemble base delivered today, just a cheapie slat base, looking forward to sleeping on it tonight and i have it all to myself DH is on night shift! Also went a bought block-out curtains for Archies bedroom, hoping they help him sleep in particularly in Summer, they were cheap cause they were a poxy white colour, oh well, lucky i perfer functionality over presentability.
Can anyone recommend a digital still camera?? Ours broke down a few weeks ago, it was an HP one that we got free with our computer so it was nothing special. We would never use lots of special functions but i want something that will give me some good memories to keep. I was thinking around the $200 mark...what are your cameras like????
Very funny tonight DH and i were laying on the floor on our tummies watching telly and Arch was standing behind us playing, DH farted and we hear this fart noise straight after, Arch was imitating the fart noise!!! So funny, he has done it twice since when people have farted!
vic - we posted at the same time....Did you put all your kids in big beds around the 18 month mark?? If so how did you teach them not to keep getting out of bed and coming out of the bedroom??
Hi all been reading the posts but not much energy to post back.
Things seem to be getting back to normal here emotionally.
Will fill you guys in later.
Take care.
Leanne
Oh and I've finally updated Katy's web page if you want to see some recent pickies.
Looks like there are a few of us who have been MIA lately. I am finding it so hard to find time out for myself lately. I though once my Nan left I would have all the time in the world but no something always pops up!
Jayden had very bad nappy rash the past few days and a temp, although the rash looks bad still it doesn’t seem to be as painful and the temp has gone….my guess is more teeth on the way. Just like Adam, Jayden has 4 on top and 2 down the bottom. He is going great with his animal noises, he knows dog, horse, chicken, cow, snake, sheep(almost) and the cutest one is pig, he screws his nose up and blows out his nose. Although my cat constantly meows, Jayden hasn’t picked up that sound yet. He is also very much into hugging and kissing everything, I can tell him to kiss anything and he will go and do it.
Sheree: OMG, how scary for you!! Hope he is ok honey and give his a big kiss from Jayden and me!
Nat: That’s great you enjoyed your prac! OMG @ all that time off! Your life is certainly full and busy lifestyle isn’t it? There is always something going on hehe. I love that pic of Jayden too, it was taken on his 1st bday. I think you did reply to my email hehe I haven’t been on too much lately I can’t remember. Your too modest Nat, YOUR cake was fantastic!
Christine: How did you cope for excursion? OMG @ how many kids!!! I would have been stressed too. I got out of taking Jayden for his shots I got SIL#1 to do it when she was looking after him last week. Good Luck Riley…You’ll be ok!
Vic: Yay for Adam standing up for himself hehe. One of the guys at work just had a garage sale (he’s moving to Cairns) and he had a set of bunks, only slept in once he sold for $50!! If I had of known last week I could have got them for you. He sold lots of things practically new very cheap! Congrats at joining the gym!
Elissa: You will have to scan the professional pics and put on in your ticker so we can see! I love photos so much! We did a count on all our digital photo’s on the computer last night and we are up to over 14,500 that is over at least 6 yrs though. We have an SLR digital now but the one before was a Sony Cybershot which was pretty good (for its time). Not sure how much the current model would be though. Check out ebay or even go to Harvey Norman (or any retailer) then see what you can get then check ebay as you might get it heaps cheaper. We bought one for MIL on the weekend which was a Nikon but that was about $360.
We are also looking for racing car beds for Jayden….still unsure when we will put him into a bed though. SIL#5 may want the cot in Sept/Oct when her bub is born so Jayden will be 16/17mths old.
Does anyone remember my whinge about SIL#3 wanting to open a bank acc for Jayden? Not sure if I mentioned since but I had opened an acc for him myself but she still refuses to put money in that acc as I have access to it. I got so pi**ed off last night as she had to bring it up while everyone was at my house for my birthday, 10 seconds before my cake was being brought out!! First she said “You said you were going to take money out of his acc” I said “NO! You said I was going to take money out of his account, I said I can access his money” She said “what so I can’t give Jayden a present now?” and I said “yes, I can give you his acc #” Apparently she cracked it big time but I was too busy blowing out my candles hehe. Its not over yet I am sure. Chris wants me just to give her Jayden’s birth cert so she can do it. But you gotta wonder why she is so desperate to get his birth cert and open this acc when he already (now) has one. At least I have SIL#6 backing me up but she is the only one in the family! I have hidden both his BC’s so Chris won’t be able to find them and give them to her.
Anyway….sorry for those I missed, I would be here all night if I went back on all that I have missed!!
